I feel like at the top of each episode, I'm just gonna be like, hey, sorry for my setup this week. Like, I'm aware of it.

• 0:52Brooke Averick?

That's it. Look, we can just include that.

• 0:54Connor Wood?

We'll just include that. Hi, everyone.

• 0:56Brooke Averick?

I think it's important, I'm aware of where I am.

• 0:58Connor Wood?

Hi, everyone. I'm aware of where I am. I'm aware of the quality of where I am. I'm aware of where I was last week at my home when we have the new setup. I'm aware of where I'm gonna be next week, which is gonna be in the studio with Brooklyn and it's gonna be great. That's gonna be so much fun.

• 1:15Brooke Averick?

I like, it feels like, it will probably feel like forever and like no time has passed.

• 1:20Connor Wood?

We might need to have a parade. I'm serious, like a homecoming parade where everyone comes out and has mums.

• 1:25Brooke Averick?

Wait, I think we should do a high episode. Or do you think that feels like too much for like right off the bat?

• 1:30Connor Wood?

  No, I'm so down.

• 1:33Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:33Connor Wood?

That would be, that would be so fun for us to like, get to the studio, let our hair down to our asses and then like just kind of see where the wind blows us.

• 1:45Brooke Averick?

Okay, so we won't be high for that one. And then the next one, we can get high.

• 1:49Connor Wood?

  Oh, like I'm giddy.

• 1:50Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that'll be fun.

• 1:52Connor Wood?

  That's gonna be hilarious.

• 1:53Brooke Averick?

  Oh, wait.

• 1:55Connor Wood?

  What?

• 1:55Brooke Averick?

I don't think I can get high for that one.

• 1:57Connor Wood?

  Oh, no, you have something.

• 1:58Brooke Averick?

I have an orthodontist appointment. Like, I actually almost have to leave slightly early.

• 2:02Connor Wood?

Oh dang, okay, whatever, we'll just pretend.

• 2:05Brooke Averick?

  To get high?

• 2:06Connor Wood?

  Yeah, off our own supply.

• 2:08Brooke Averick?

We could also get high sep, like in virtual mode.

• 2:13Connor Wood?

We could. I just feel like we might lose track of where we are.

• 2:18Brooke Averick?

Where we are in the world?

• 2:20Connor Wood?

  Mm-hmm. I mean, I might.

• 2:41Brooke Averick?

Hey, guys. Welcome back to Brooke and Connor.

• 2:43Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 2:44Brooke Averick?

I'm your host, Brooke and Connor.

• 2:47Connor Wood?

She's both Brooke and Connor today. I am a computer husband, once again. It feels nice to be back in my virtual Bob. Who he's really built. Like, if you're not watching, and I learned recently because I read the YouTube comments, which I, you know, when am I gonna learn? There is one specific YouTube user with no profile picture that I'm just like, "I strive for one day to make you happy." Like, I've seen you comment on everything, like, you're mad at every episode, and it's something. And one day, one day, user, you will feel joy. And I'm gonna try to make it my personal mission to make sure that you feel happy. Right now, I don't see it in the near future, but it will happen.

• 3:31Brooke Averick?

Mm-hmm. There are some people that always comment, and they're like, "Wow, y'all like, will never be happy, huh?" And those people, I wanna kiss on the lips.

• 3:39Connor Wood?

Yeah, that was the top comment this week on the last episode, which I was so excited to open the comments because I feel like we've really, like, figured this out, remote-wise. We're almost there. I mean, I feel like our juju is back in motion, kind of. Not that it was gone, but we were figuring out the audio and stuff for a while.

• 3:59Brooke Averick?

  Figuring it out.

• 4:00Connor Wood?

And then that person was like, "You guys are just miserable." Like, I was clapping in my apartment. Thank you for stepping up.

• 4:10Brooke Averick?

  Why are you home?

• 4:13Connor Wood?

So I had a show in Dallas.

• 4:15Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 4:17Connor Wood?

And then I have, I'm in San Antonio this coming weekend for, um, March Madness with Wendy's.

• 4:24Brooke Averick?

  Nice. Ooh, I'm hungry.

• 4:26Connor Wood?

I'm hungry too. And so when I was leaving Dallas last week after the show, amazing show, it was at TCU, which I have visited one time when I had friends in college. And that was, that was the trip where the UT was playing TCU. Those are both football teams.

• 4:45Brooke Averick?

You are frozen, which you probably know by now as your voice has gone out. We're figuring it out.

• 4:54Connor Wood?

The last, no, the last time that I was at TCU is for a football game between TCU and UT. And this was the time, I don't know if you remember the video, where I tried to put myself up on the fence and then I overshot the fence. But I still had my hands on the fence. So my body did a full-blown, um, like pommel horse, what's his face, twist over. Except I landed on my neck.

• 5:16Brooke Averick?

  I don't recall.

• 5:17Connor Wood?

Uh, we'll have to put the video in.

• 5:22Connor Wood?

And then dad, uh, I'm just gonna have to be sitting out here in the living room. Okay.

• 5:29Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 5:31Connor Wood?

And we got Mimi off of all of her devices?

• 5:35Connor Wood?

We have Mimi off of most of her devices.

• 5:37Brooke Averick?

  What devices does she have?

• 5:39Connor Wood?

What devices is she connected to still?

• 5:45Connor Wood?

The only thing that's left on is her burner phone, my dad says.

• 5:48Brooke Averick?

  Nice, nice.

• 5:49Connor Wood?

Whatever she's doing up there, whatever activities she's up to. Okay. Yeah. So that was the last time I went. So I go to, and dad, thank you for slamming that door. And, um, went to TCU.

• 6:03Connor Wood?

Such a fun college. It's so college-y, you know, it's one of those towns where it's just like all that's there is that college. Um, and it was a great show. And then I get ready to leave in the morning. And Nick Becker, our friend Nico Sway, texts me and goes, "I'll miss you dude. I'm playing in Austin today." And I'm on my way to the airport. I go, "What time are you playing in Austin?" He goes, "3:40." I go, "Oh my gosh, it's noon. I can make it." So I switched my flight to Austin. I Uber. I didn't realize he's playing this like fraternity sorority rush week thing.

• 6:39Brooke Averick?

You mean you could fly? Where were you going to fly?

• 6:42Connor Wood?

I was, I was going to Houston to see Max and my parents.

• 6:45Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 6:46Connor Wood?

Um, but Austin is the same distance. So I just switched my flight, same airline, same timing to just go to Austin. Then I Ubered to-

• 6:56Brooke Averick?

  Where's TCU?

• 6:57Connor Wood?

  Dallas.

• 6:58Brooke Averick?

My God. Where is Dal- okay, it's fine.

• 7:02Connor Wood?

There's only three cities in Texas. It's Houston, Dallas.

• 7:05Brooke Averick?

And you have to fly to all of them?

• 7:06Connor Wood?

You could drive. It just takes three hours or else it's like a 40 minute flight. Not to be, not to be Kylie Jenner.

• 7:11Brooke Averick?

So it would be like flying from Philly to New York?

• 7:13Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 7:14Brooke Averick?

  I guess that's a two hour drive.

• 7:16Connor Wood?

But there isn't a, there isn't a train. I would definitely opt for a train if we had one.

• 7:20Brooke Averick?

  Uh huh.

• 7:21Connor Wood?

Come on Elon. Bill is a train. Uh, he won't.

• 7:29Connor Wood?

Um, but it was really fun. And so then I went to Austin for one day, saw, saw Nico and then some friends that are getting married. And then I came to Houston and now I've been in Houston and now I go to San Antonio in the morning.

• 7:42Brooke Averick?

  My God Connor.

• 7:44Connor Wood?

  It's just incredible.

• 7:45Brooke Averick?

  Where's San Antonio?

• 7:47Connor Wood?

San Antonio? I don't know, man. It's near, it's where the Alamo is, which you certainly haven't forgotten, right?

• 7:52Brooke Averick?

No, I wouldn't have forgotten that.

• 7:54Connor Wood?

  There's a, there's a couple of things I'll never forget. The Alamo.

• 7:57Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 7:58Connor Wood?

  9/11.

• 8:01Connor Wood?

And my lunch number from elementary school.

• 8:04Brooke Averick?

  What was it?

• 8:05Connor Wood?

I can't, I don't want to say it because it's my password for everything.

• 8:08Brooke Averick?

  Oh, hi Max.

• 8:09Connor Wood?

  Is he here?

• 8:11Brooke Averick?

  He's behind you.

• 8:12Connor Wood?

  Max, come here.

• 8:12Brooke Averick?

  He's right behind you.

• 8:14Connor Wood?

  Okay, you can see him.

• 8:15Brooke Averick?

  Aww.

• 8:16Connor Wood?

  He wasn't listening anyway.

• 8:17Brooke Averick?

  Like, how was your reunion?

• 8:20Connor Wood?

It was really good. He definitely remembers me. It's, it's one of those things where it's like a little bit.

• 8:24Brooke Averick?

  I'd hope so.

• 8:25Connor Wood?

Well, it was delayed and I was like, oh, God. And then like two seconds later, he, he likes, they're so smell dependent, you know?

• 8:34Brooke Averick?

What's the longest you've been apart?

• 8:35Connor Wood?

  This.

• 8:36Brooke Averick?

What was it? How was it? How long?

• 8:38Connor Wood?

  How long? Four months?

• 8:39Brooke Averick?

  Oh!

• 8:40Connor Wood?

  Three, four months, yeah.

• 8:41Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 8:43Connor Wood?

Someone accidentally messaged me, like, maybe you need to send it to their friends, and they were like, truly deadbeat, this is so sad. And then, you can't unsend messages anymore on Instagram, which like, is funny because when you send, you know that first message, you're usually able to be like, ooh, unsend, unsend.

• 9:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 9:00Connor Wood?

But now, like, if you, if it's your initial message to somebody, you can't unsend it, and she, she's just like, I'm sorry, like, that was not meant for you.

• 9:07Brooke Averick?

  That's a tough, that's a tough one to see.

• 9:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 9:10Brooke Averick?

  Did you respond?

• 9:12Connor Wood?

No, oh no, no, no, no, I didn't respond.

• 9:15Brooke Averick?

  Damn.

• 9:15Connor Wood?

  What are you gonna do?

• 9:16Brooke Averick?

  My cat, Rob?

• 9:19Connor Wood?

Yes, wait, we need an update on, on your small family.

• 9:23Brooke Averick?

Like, a single mom who works two jobs and loves her kids and never stops has never rung more true. Oh my God, like, a flip has switched in the worst way. It used to be John.

• 9:36Connor Wood?

  A flip has switched?

• 9:37Brooke Averick?

A flip has switched, yeah, a flip is, yeah, oh no, a switch has flipped in the worst way.

• 9:45Connor Wood?

Is that, I mean, it seems like things are getting better over time.

• 9:48Brooke Averick?

They were, for, like, there was a day of them getting better before the tides really shifted. So what happened was John was the original scream, like, screaming bloody murder sound I've never heard, and Rob was like timid under the bed. And then there was one day when like John stopped screaming and Rob was like coming out of his shell where everything like seemed fine and they were just like kind of, they both slept in my bed, just like different ends. And everything was seeming fine, then tides shifted, Rob has now become the aggressor. John is scared for his life. Rob will not leave my side. He's so obsessed with me in a way that I've never seen anything be obsessed with anyone. If he's not touching me, it's like the end of the world, whole scream.

• 10:30Brooke Averick?

Which like I like, but it's just so sad because if John comes near me, it's, he's so territorial. Rob claims my bed and John can't come in my bed because Rob will attack him. And I can't, I tried locking Rob out and he just screamed and screamed and screamed and screamed. There's no winning. I don't know what to do. Rob's attacking John. John is, poor John is scared. I, I'm miserable.

• 10:55Connor Wood?

No one's reached out to offer any solace?

• 10:58Brooke Averick?

No, I mean, I'm hopeful that it will, like Rob will just calm down. Like this is normal enough, I think, but like, I'm so sad. Like my poor, poor John.

• 11:12Brooke Averick?

Like John, like will try to come cuddle with me in the bed and it's just like, Rob is like, no.

• 11:17Connor Wood?

I think it's just gonna get to a point where they're just used to it. They have to, because the tide went-

• 11:22Brooke Averick?

Well, what's worse is now John is used to it. He's completely resigned. It's devastating. He just sits in his cat tree like limp, like a noodle. And he's like, I can't come down or Rob will attack me.

• 11:33Connor Wood?

  I think it's like relaxing, maybe that's-

• 11:34Brooke Averick?

No, he's not. Like, it's so sad. It's so sad. And I got Rob for John. Obviously, and it's like sad because I do, I love, I love Rob. Like, I love the guy. I really do, but it's like, please, Rob. Like, I'm begging you. Like, this is your brother.

• 11:52Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 11:53Brooke Averick?

Like, imagine what it, it would be so amazing if we could all just be a family.

• 11:57Connor Wood?

It's gonna, it's gotta be on their terms. I hate to break it to you.

• 12:00Brooke Averick?

And I'm giving everything that everyone says. Like, I'm feeding them on opposite sides of a door. I'm giving them both treats. I'm giving them the same amount of love. Like, I literally get up every hour and go into the other room to give John a kiss and whisper in his ear, like, you're my firstborn. Like, like, you're, you're my baby. Like, this is, your brother's acting up right now. Like, it has nothing to do with you. Like, everything's gonna be okay. You're doing great.

• 12:26Connor Wood?

I feel like you might give him a complex, though. Then he's like, I was here first vibes.

• 12:31Brooke Averick?

I don't think he speaks English. I think he just like, hopefully like gets the vibe. You know?

• 12:36Connor Wood?

  I don't know. I don't know anymore. I don't know anymore.

• 12:40Brooke Averick?

But like, I did not see this coming with Rob being the complete powerhouse of the cell.

• 12:44Connor Wood?

The tide shift. It's like politics.

• 12:47Brooke Averick?

But he also, um, we are, we went to the vet on Monday, me and Rob, because there's weird stuff in his ears.

• 12:54Connor Wood?

  Yes, that's good.

• 12:55Brooke Averick?

Yes. Got to the vet. They said, we canceled your appointment, which was sweet if Emma let me know.

• 13:02Brooke Averick?

So we're going back today and I think it's earmites.

• 13:07Brooke Averick?

Which has been good because he sleeps with his ear and face on mine.

• 13:13Connor Wood?

  I have a question.

• 13:14Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 13:15Connor Wood?

So like, obviously I hate the word mites.

• 13:17Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 13:18Connor Wood?

When you put the word ear in front of it, earmites, like, no. I want to know, like, maybe if we named, I want to know, do I hate the word mites because it's like a little bug in your ear?

• 13:28Brooke Averick?

  It is, yeah.

• 13:29Connor Wood?

  Ermites or like?

• 13:30Brooke Averick?

  Multiples.

• 13:31Connor Wood?

If it was like ear flowers, would I be like, oh? Like it's ear.

• 13:36Brooke Averick?

No, it would have the association of what mite has.

• 13:40Connor Wood?

  Fuck mite.

• 13:40Brooke Averick?

Also, like, if it had, well, this mite is also means like, I might do this. So there is another meaning to the word mite and because it's earmite and you know what it means.

• 13:49Connor Wood?

Yeah, you're, that is so true. I love talking language.

• 13:53Brooke Averick?

Yeah, no, you're a linguist at heart.

• 13:55Connor Wood?

I am a linguist and it's nuanced. It is nuanced.

• 13:59Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 14:00Connor Wood?

I can't stop saying avant garde. Do not know what it means. Not looking into it. That is so avant garde.

• 14:06Brooke Averick?

I, let me, there are some words like I, I use but, and like receive a lot, but like, could I give you a definition? I don't think so. Like, ahead of its time?

• 14:19Connor Wood?

You can, wait, are you saying the phrase ahead of its time?

• 14:21Brooke Averick?

No, I'm saying like, is that what avant garde means? It's like very like, like, it's avant garde.

• 14:28Connor Wood?

  I don't know if it's like, uh?

• 14:30Brooke Averick?

People were works that are experimental, innovative and often ahead of their time. Whoa. Author much?

• 14:38Connor Wood?

  Wow.

• 14:41Connor Wood?

Wow, it's really freaking me out every time I looked right next to you and I see that pot with the wig on it. It does look like me. That pot with the wig on it does look like me. Yeah.

• 14:50Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I can see that.

• 14:52Connor Wood?

  In many ways.

• 14:54Brooke Averick?

  Wait Connor?

• 14:55Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 14:57Brooke Averick?

I guess that's it about the cat. It's been horrible. Um, but like-

• 15:01Connor Wood?

I truly think that, I truly with my chest believe that it's gonna get, like it's gonna get worse before it gets better.

• 15:06Brooke Averick?

People really like, besides the people that are like, you're killing them in ICMs, like most people are like really supportive and saying that like this just, it takes time. But I'm wondering if like I need to start like over with the introductions and like keep them separate again, which is hard. I don't, I literally can't. Like if I lock Rob up, it's like, he sob, it's, oh, it's brutal. But-

• 15:32Connor Wood?

I don't see how like locking them up for longer apart would ever-

• 15:35Brooke Averick?

Because then you just like start this slow intros over and they're supposed to like warm up to each other better. But like-

• 15:42Connor Wood?

  I like what you're doing.

• 15:43Brooke Averick?

  I don't, it's not, it's not working Connor.

• 15:45Connor Wood?

Well, I think that it's, it has been worse in the past, like with, with people. Like I'm sure that there's been a worse thing that's happened. I think you were doing exactly what you need to be doing for your home. Luckily you have space. Imagine doing this in like-

• 15:57Brooke Averick?

I'm so lucky to have space. Like I, yeah, if they were like confined, because John can have his full, John really takes the front of the house and Rob takes the back. Like, Rob's been in my office in my room and John's been in the like living room with his tree. But my God, those boys are going to drive me to drink.

• 16:16Connor Wood?

  I know, I know Chica.

• 16:18Brooke Averick?

  Oh.

• 16:19Connor Wood?

I mean, like I said, I think it's gonna get a lot better very quickly. But I don't think that you should go back to like keeping them apart.

• 16:26Brooke Averick?

And I'll ask the vet today what she thinks. She's nice. She's really nice.

• 16:30Connor Wood?

I called the vet this morning too.

Did you know there's a new Hunger Games book?

• 17:19Connor Wood?

Yeah, I'm sorry. My, like, you, this is so not like me, but my computer's glitching.

• 17:24Brooke Averick?

  Are you?

• 17:26Connor Wood?

It's crazy that I get like a very specific type of news from just your Instagram story and it's not even like you telling me and I never talk to you about it, but I'm like, oh, new Hunger Games book, interesting. But like, that's never been published, it never comes across my desk, it's literally just your stories and I'm like, oh, cool.

• 17:41Brooke Averick?

There's a new Hunger Games book out?

• 17:43Connor Wood?

Wait, and where did we leave off in the Hunger Games?

• 17:46Brooke Averick?

Okay, so we have the original trilogy, which you claim to have read.

• 17:49Connor Wood?

I actually read it first. I think it was one of the first. I was one of the first.

• 17:53Brooke Averick?

  You discovered the Hunger Games.

• 17:54Connor Wood?

I think I really, truly, like, I think Suzanne Collins actually slipped me one of the manuscripts before.

• 18:01Brooke Averick?

  You got an arc.

• 18:02Connor Wood?

• 18:03Brooke Averick?

Yeah, you got arcs of all three. And then there was The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, which was the last one that came out, which is the origin of President Snow and his story, which I still have like serious qualms with that one.

• 18:16Connor Wood?

  The movie or the book?

• 18:17Brooke Averick?

Both, because it's like, in that story, like, you see him, like, he starts off as like a relatively, like, good enough guy. And then he's slow, like, there's like a shift that kind of comes out of nowhere and then he's like kind of evil, but he's nowhere, he never becomes anywhere near as evil as he is in the Hunger Games books. And so I thought in this book, which is Haymitch's story, you know Haymitch?

• 18:46Connor Wood?

  I love.

• 18:47Brooke Averick?

So this is Haymitch's games, okay? So.

• 18:50Connor Wood?

  He's in the game.

• 18:51Brooke Averick?

This is when he's in the game, so like Katniss and Peeta aren't born yet. But like he's friends with their parents. So it's like a lot of like connections. But I was like, okay, maybe here we'll see like President Snow is like not as evil as he was in the original trilogy, but like, maybe he's finally getting there and we see how he that evolution. No, now he's completely like sinister, most evil person in the world. And I just still don't understand how he got there. And that's pissing me off. Thanks.

• 19:20Connor Wood?

Right. Now, well, what's cool is that Susan Collins is printing money because she can just be like, well, I actually, we're actually going to go back. We're doing Haymitch now. And we're going to meet a new character in here. And then people are going to be like, I'm obsessed with him. Well, we're going to give you his backstory in the next book. It's actually insane.

• 19:37Brooke Averick?

It's she's, but like she has the talent to back it up. So it's

• 19:40Connor Wood?

Right, of course. I mean, we're looking at, we're looking at a Harry Potter type situation where it's just like, and wait, um,

• 19:47Brooke Averick?

No, J K Rowling could do so much more and she hasn't. But the people have, thank God. Like there are fan fictions about like Harry Potter, like his dad and like that group.

• 19:59Connor Wood?

I, I wonder, like, this is crazy to say, but I wonder if, if it has anything to do with the fact that like, Jennifer Lawson?

• 20:06Brooke Averick?

  Nope.

• 20:08Connor Wood?

  Wait, what's her name?

• 20:09Brooke Averick?

  Jennifer Lawrence.

• 20:11Connor Wood?

I was like Jay Law, Jay Law, Jay Law, Jennifer Lawrence, like, and, uh, what's his name?

• 20:19Brooke Averick?

  Josh Richardson.

• 20:20Connor Wood?

Square face. Josh Richardson. He, like, I wonder if they're just too expensive to book now. And it's like, okay, well, we can get Woody Harrelson for sure in the movie.

• 20:30Brooke Averick?

So Woody Harrelson wouldn't be playing his 16 year old self.

• 20:33Connor Wood?

  Oh, my God.

• 20:35Brooke Averick?

  So we're actually not

• 20:36Connor Wood?

No, that's actually great because like, it's actually opened up a lot of windows financially for her to, to cast people for the movies. And guess what? Guess who could play 16 year old Woody Harrelson?

• 20:46Brooke Averick?

  You?

• 20:46Connor Wood?

  My stupid ass, maybe, potentially.

• 20:49Brooke Averick?

I think they're going to do another, I hope they'll do like another like Tom Blyth, like someone who hasn't.

• 20:54Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 20:54Brooke Averick?

But anyway, I have qualms with the President Snow story, which snory story, which was the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. This one is like, so good. I feel like we're back like to the level of the original trilogy. Like, maybe you should read it, Connor.

• 21:12Connor Wood?

Maybe, maybe, and maybe I should, but guess what? I'm not gonna read the last book, so.

• 21:16Brooke Averick?

I don't think you need, you don't need to read the.

• 21:18Connor Wood?

Oh, maybe I will. How far along, how far along are you? What trimester in the book?

• 21:22Brooke Averick?

  I'm 70%.

• 21:23Connor Wood?

Oh, well, that's not fun. I should have joined you right at the beginning of this one.

• 21:28Brooke Averick?

You know, we're doing it for my book, Brookshelf. That's the book this month.

• 21:32Connor Wood?

  That's the Brook, huh?

• 21:33Brooke Averick?

That's the Brook of the month.

• 21:35Connor Wood?

You know, I spelled book, B-O-O-K-E.

• 21:37Brooke Averick?

  I love that.

• 21:38Connor Wood?

I couldn't figure out why. Hello? Open up the schools.

• 21:45Brooke Averick?

But it's so good and it's so devastating because you know, like you become so attached to all these characters and you know Haymitch is the only one coming out of there.

• 21:55Connor Wood?

Well, unless there's something that hasn't been told, you know, like I know that technically that's it, but like, Suzanne really has, has, as, as clay in her hands, she's molding our brains.

• 22:06Brooke Averick?

But like, you know that, like Haymitch, this Haymitch, like he's like, I don't, I don't drink, like, I don't need that stuff. So like, what happens to him to make him like, like an alcoholic? It's like, oh, it's horrible.

• 22:18Connor Wood?

Maybe he had to introduce two cats from the shelter.

• 22:21Brooke Averick?

It's even, believe it or not, it's actually worse.

• 22:24Connor Wood?

  That's crazy.

• 22:25Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, but it's so good.

• 22:26Connor Wood?

Um, okay, well, maybe I'll, I'll look into it after I finish this Long Island.

• 22:30Brooke Averick?

I was about to say, has Long Island Compromised treating you?

• 22:33Connor Wood?

  It's like really.

• 22:34Brooke Averick?

  It's really what?

• 22:36Connor Wood?

  It's really something, man.

• 22:38Brooke Averick?

This is your problem, like, fine, you picked that because you liked the cover, like, read something that like, actually like, you would like. Like, you're forcing yourself to read this, these like, random bookshelf picks.

• 22:53Connor Wood?

I know. Um, I am going to read this, I guess it's like a self-help book, but someone recommended it that I try.

• 23:01Brooke Averick?

I'm so sorry to those of you who love self-help, but like, that's homework, like, why, why are you doing this to yourself?

• 23:09Connor Wood?

I'm someone who like, if I walk into a movie, like I want to have a personality change on my way out, like.

• 23:13Brooke Averick?

  I agree.

• 23:14Connor Wood?

I walk out, and same with a book, you know, like, I don't think I'm gonna get a personality. I don't know if I'm gonna read a Hunger Games book and be like, I'm gonna change my life now.

• 23:22Brooke Averick?

  No, but like, sometimes.

• 23:25Connor Wood?

  Mimi has entered the chat.

• 23:26Brooke Averick?

  Hey, Mimi!

• 23:27Connor Wood?

You wanna come say hi to the podcast? Yes. She's on the screen.

• 23:35Connor Wood?

She's not physically. Here, here, you have to talk into the mic. Oh, my gosh, wait.

• 23:39Brooke Averick?

  Hi, Mimi.

• 23:41Speaker 05

  Brooke.

• 23:42Brooke Averick?

  How are you?

• 23:44Speaker 05

  Good. I'm here in Texas.

• 23:46Brooke Averick?

  Are you living there now?

• 23:48Speaker 05

Well, I've been here for about eight months, but I'm going back to Sun Valley in May.

• 23:53Brooke Averick?

Really? I bet it's, it'll be good weather by then.

• 23:55Speaker 05

  That's why I chose May.

• 23:57Brooke Averick?

  Yes, that makes sense.

• 23:58Speaker 05

  Yeah. How are you doing?

• 23:59Brooke Averick?

  Good. I'm good.

• 24:01Speaker 05

  Where are you?

• 24:02Brooke Averick?

I'm in LA in our studio.

• 24:04Speaker 05

  Okay.

• 24:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 24:06Speaker 05

Well, thanks for letting us have Connor.

• 24:08Brooke Averick?

Oh, of course. I'm happy to, happy to share him. How's Max been?

• 24:13Speaker 05

He's been great. In fact, I'm taking him over to the dog park right now.

• 24:16Brooke Averick?

  Oh, that'll be fun.

• 24:18Speaker 05

  Or his morning run.

• 24:19Brooke Averick?

  Oh, wow. That's amazing.

• 24:21Speaker 05

  Yeah, he loves it.

• 24:22Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I bet.

• 24:23Speaker 05

  Thank you. Carry on.

• 24:24Brooke Averick?

  Bye, Mimi.

• 24:25Connor Wood?

  Bye, Mimi.

• 24:28Connor Wood?

Um, yeah, Max does love his, his runs. He's absolutely lazy bounce right now.

• 24:33Brooke Averick?

I bet him and Rob would get along.

• 24:35Connor Wood?

I bet they would too. He actually is coming around to cats, which is nice because my, my dad does this thing where I'm like, he doesn't like cats. My dad's like, oh, I mean, maybe he hasn't met the right cat. I'm like, I'm, I mean, you're gonna, whoever's cat you're, and, and, and what am I trying to say?

• 24:51Brooke Averick?

  I don't know.

• 24:52Connor Wood?

Insisting on him meeting like, you will have blood on your hands. Cat blood.

• 24:57Brooke Averick?

Not with Rob's claws. Poor John, like, I can't. Okay, sorry. I love seeing, like, people's parents, like, style and like seeing how that influences, like, their kid's style.

• 25:11Connor Wood?

Yeah, that's always fun. I totally agree.

• 25:12Brooke Averick?

  Like, this is, like, you.

• 25:14Connor Wood?

I want to see what you're seeing now.

• 25:17Brooke Averick?

It's just like, like, a lot of, like, crisp white.

• 25:20Connor Wood?

Yeah. I mean, I'm, I'm moving away from the crisp white because I actually, I like the cozy vibes. And my whole apartment right now, the walls are white, yes, but the ground is like, like, dark wood. Wait, look at this. I painted this when I was in high school.

• 25:34Brooke Averick?

  You're so talented.

• 25:35Connor Wood?

Are you able to see that?

• 25:36Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, that's crazy.

• 25:38Connor Wood?

Thanks. It's really nothing other than together.

• 25:42Brooke Averick?

Wait, can I say one more thing about books?

• 25:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 25:47Brooke Averick?

I don't know if I've told the podcast this, but I have been on the hunt for, like, a bookstore cafe, where you can, like,

• 25:54Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 25:54Brooke Averick?

drink coffee and work and it's attached to a bookstore. I found one the other day in Culver City and I was telling Izzy, I was like Izzy, there's a bookstore attached to a cafe in Culver City. Like, did you know this? And I had been telling everyone else too, that like, there's this amazing place called Books and Coffee in Culver City that like, it's, it's Books and Coffee. Like, oh my God, you won't believe it. And Izzy was like, oh yeah, is it, what's the name?

• 26:25Speaker 06

  Village Well.

• 26:26Brooke Averick?

Is it Village Well? And I was about to respond like, no, it's Books and Coffee. And then I just happened to like, when I was texting Izzy, have the receipt. I had a book that I bought, like, with the receipt in it. And I was like, let me just like, take a look at that receipt, Village Well.

• 26:39Speaker 06

  Yeah, 100%.

• 26:40Brooke Averick?

So I had missed the, uh, title of the store and under it said Books and Coffee. But I have told everyone and their mother about this new bookstore, Books and Coffee.

• 26:51Connor Wood?

It's honestly good because no one's gonna come try to find you at Books and Coffee because it doesn't exist.

• 26:55Brooke Averick?

Yeah. But I have been like screaming Books and Coffee from the rooftops. And it's super close to the, do you know about the romance only bookstore?

• 27:04Connor Wood?

  No.

• 27:05Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, The Ripped Bodice, Connor.

• 27:07Connor Wood?

  The Ripped Bodice?

• 27:08Brooke Averick?

The Ripped Bodice. This whole time, I thought it was just in New York and I was like, I need to go to The Ripped Bodice in New York. One day, saw on TikTok, no, the first location of The Ripped Bodice is also in Culver City.

• 27:21Connor Wood?

  Oh wow, Culver City really-

• 27:22Brooke Averick?

Culver City's like popping off right now.

• 27:24Connor Wood?

Popping off, in a big way.

• 27:26Brooke Averick?

So I went to The Ripped Bodice after I went to Books and Coffee. And I did not know there's a book convention this weekend called Shelves in the City.

• 27:35Brooke Averick?

Okay? It was like literal Black Mirror when I walked in there. All these influencers, like ring lights, like swarming the aisles. It was like, whoa. It was like book talk, like in person. It was crazy to see.

• 27:51Connor Wood?

Book talk in person, that's like two things that I would never feel like I would hear together in the same sentence.

• 27:58Brooke Averick?

It was wild to see like that community, like in their element. It was beautiful to see them at the ripped bodice with their.

• 28:05Connor Wood?

Ultimately, it is beautiful to see people at the ripped bodice. Just don't get me wrong and don't get to twist it either, okay?

• 28:11Brooke Averick?

  I'm starting a booktube.

• 28:13Connor Wood?

  You're going on to YouTube?

• 28:14Brooke Averick?

  Yes.

• 28:15Connor Wood?

  Oh, good.

• 28:16Brooke Averick?

Now that I have like a soft deadline coming up, it feels like a really good time to start a YouTube career.

• 28:20Connor Wood?

Yeah, no, I agree. That's good.

• 28:23Brooke Averick?

Tune into that and everything like that and all that.

• 28:28Connor Wood?

  All that jazz.

• 28:29Brooke Averick?

  Thanks.

• 28:30Connor Wood?

Um, that's exciting. I, um, I had a dream that I just remembered that I need to say, and I know that what like no one gives a fuck or a shit about dreams when people talk about them. This is a little timely and this is a little bit relevant. Um, I had a dream that we had Bowen Yang and his co-host from his podcast come on our podcast. But it like wasn't, it wasn't Matt Rogers, his co-host. It was like another one and me and you, they went and sat down and they never told us who the other name was. So we were like,

• 29:08Brooke Averick?

  That's hard.

• 29:09Connor Wood?

Hey, guys. Hey, guys. We're here with, we're here with Bowen Yang and Brooke, you can say the other one. And you're like, and you, and, and we're here. Here we are. And everyone, everyone behind the cameras was like, um, like say it, say the name. And we were like, yes, I'm with Bowen and, and your friend is here and you, how close are you? When did you guys meet? Like it was the, it was like a 10 minute thing of like you and I trying to like get this person's name. I can even picture the face of this person and it's like, I made up this face. It's not a real face, but we would just.

• 29:43Connor Wood?

I know it's impossible, but I genuinely like, I did recognize this person, but it was like, it must have been someone who was maybe like in an Uber pool with me at some point.

• 29:51Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 29:52Connor Wood?

  And like it saved.

• 29:52Brooke Averick?

  In the archives?

• 29:53Connor Wood?

It saved in my bookmarks, but it was me and you sitting there drenched in sweat in the studio, panicking, being like, Bowen Yang and?

• 30:01Brooke Averick?

  That's hard.

• 30:02Connor Wood?

And introduce us to your friend, Bowen.

• 30:04Brooke Averick?

Watching that happen to someone in person.

• 30:07Connor Wood?

I mean, it was just like, I woke up just feeling so sick about the podcast and like our, our guests coming on and being like, we don't know their names.

• 30:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 30:16Connor Wood?

  What are their names?

• 30:18Brooke Averick?

I, someone told me recently that they were talking to Bowen Yang. And I do think it's possible this was a lie. Okay. So keep that in mind. But they were talking to Bowen Yang and like brought us up for some reason. He was like, oh yeah, I know who they are. That's the end of the story. But so Bowen Yang might be aware of us, which is cool. I freaking love the guy.

• 30:45Connor Wood?

That is cool. And now he.

• 30:46Brooke Averick?

But also I want to say again, that could not, that could be a lie.

• 30:51Connor Wood?

I don't think it's absurd. I also don't think that that's a compliment for him to be like, I know who they are. Like.

• 30:56Brooke Averick?

  Oh, to me that is.

• 30:58Connor Wood?

He didn't say, they're so funny, but at least like it's better than my dream where I said, I don't know who your co-host is, but it's Matt Rogers. I do know that.

• 31:05Brooke Averick?

  Of course.

• 31:06Connor Wood?

Um, Los Culturistas. Now he knows that we, we also know who he is, which I'm sure.

• 31:11Brooke Averick?

We've spoken like in depth about Bowen Yang in terms of like how I always think that's the name of the planes.

• 31:18Connor Wood?

Oh yeah. Well now, now he can sleep easy knowing that we know who he is.

• 31:23Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I'm sure he'll be able to.

• 31:24Connor Wood?

Which I'm sure he was worried.

• 31:25Brooke Averick?

  Cock out. Yeah.

• 31:27Connor Wood?

Yeah. He'll be rocking out with his cock out on the newapartments.com website commercial.

• 31:32Brooke Averick?

  I haven't seen it.

• 31:34Connor Wood?

Oh, I've seen it 400 times.

• 31:37Brooke Averick?

I've been watching new TV and stuff. I'm gonna put a TV in my room, which is something that I've avoided for up till now because I think that it will keep me pretty bedridden to do so, but I am gonna pull the plug. And by pull the plug, I mean, put the plug into the wall.

• 31:55Connor Wood?

  Into my wall.

• 31:56Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 31:57Connor Wood?

Well, I was thinking about doing the same, but it's just for going to bed. Like, I don't wanna like get so tired out in the living room on the ground with my head locked up.

• 32:06Brooke Averick?

Yes, Connor. That's what, I mean, that is what I'm telling myself. But like, I know what's coming.

• 32:11Connor Wood?

I have no problem getting my ass up in the morning. I, like, I don't think I would roll over and turn on the TV.

• 32:17Brooke Averick?

No, I don't think that either. I think it's a matter of when I get back into bed for that 1pm siesta, I think that could lead into staying till 8A.

• 32:29Connor Wood?

  8A, huh?

• 32:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 32:32Connor Wood?

Okay, well, I don't think, I mean, it's, it's good to fill your mind with knowledge, and a lot of knowledge comes from the TV these days. I'm also gonna put a TV in my room, but it's gonna be the size of like a microwave. And it's gonna be just for, get this, there is some, like, radi- radi- radiation emission or something that comes out like a high pitch TV sound that only comes from the TV. It doesn't come from a phone, that like, I don't even care. The TV could be muted, but I can hear this sound.

• 33:04Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 33:05Connor Wood?

And it's like a calming sound. That's what I want the TV in my room for.

• 33:10Brooke Averick?

  Get a noise machine.

• 33:12Connor Wood?

But it's not gonna emit that thing. I think it's genuinely radioactive, like a high frequency pitch that only I can hear, me and mosquitoes.

• 33:18Brooke Averick?

I told you about the mosquito machine in Florida, right?

• 33:22Connor Wood?

I want to suck your blood?

• 33:23Brooke Averick?

No, there's, my whole life, whenever I go to Florida, there's this like horrible (meows).

• 33:31Connor Wood?

The high pitched thing to keep mosquitoes and bugs away, yeah.

• 33:33Brooke Averick?

Yes, the mosquitoes and bugs away. And a few summers ago, I walked out and I was like, did you guys get a new machine? I can't hear it.

• 33:41Connor Wood?

  Your old ass.

• 33:42Brooke Averick?

My old ass aged out of that frequency.

• 33:46Connor Wood?

  That was.

• 33:47Brooke Averick?

That was probably the biggest existential crisis that I've had.

• 33:53Connor Wood?

Finding a gray hair in your ear.

• 34:41Connor Wood?

Do you remember that, um, that thing on ringtones? Remember it was like a flip phone? This is gonna age me. We used to sit in class in high school and play the frequency as high as it would go. And like we'd all set our ringtones for texts to that frequency. And the teacher couldn't hear it. But that's how we would all know that we were texting and like getting texts.

• 35:03Brooke Averick?

Oh damn, I didn't know about that.

• 35:05Connor Wood?

It was like, ee. I still just, I want to apologize to the substitute teacher who got fired because we convinced him that we were allowed to watch Ted 2. My bad. My bad, that was our fault.

• 35:19Brooke Averick?

  That's horrible.

• 35:21Connor Wood?

And you did not deserve that.

• 35:23Brooke Averick?

  That's really horrible.

• 35:24Connor Wood?

Yeah, and he was really nice too, like so nice that he.

• 35:27Brooke Averick?

  Oh, that's breaking my heart.

• 35:29Connor Wood?

I know, but like some, some effing narc told on us.

• 35:34Brooke Averick?

  That's really, really bad.

• 35:35Connor Wood?

You didn't tell on us, you told on him. Oh, yeah.

• 35:40Connor Wood?

That was like some class where like honestly Ted too was more educational than whatever we were learning in that class. The teacher, the main teacher for that class, listen to this, worked their entire career, never took a day off and then took the entire year off our senior year. We had a substitute teacher in for the year.

• 35:58Brooke Averick?

Is that like, was that a sabbatical?

• 36:00Connor Wood?

Like took, like never took a year, because he was a coach too. So he was not only a coach, but a teacher and never took a day off because his season was, was different than like the teaching. It was like over the summer, he basically coached. So, or wait, opposite, whatever. He never took a day off for like years and years and years. And so he had like 85 days off consecutively and he used all of his and it rolled over, you know, year after year and he used them all my senior year. And he used to provide us before each test, the answer key. And he's like, just fill it in.

• 36:36Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 36:37Connor Wood?

Yeah. I mean, and that, that shows. I was, I was top of my class, by the way. I was, I graduated 11 out of my class.

• 36:44Brooke Averick?

I will never forget in fifth grade, we had a test on Mesopotamia, which like, by the way, what is that? If you could, if you had to say.

• 36:55Connor Wood?

I was hoping you asked, you may be entitled to compensation if you or one of your family members developed Mesopotamia after working in a factory near drywall.

• 37:07Brooke Averick?

So, we had a test on Mesopotamia. And in the directions before you started the test, it just said like, raise your hand before you answer any of the questions. So I raised my hand and my teacher just came around and wrote an 100 on the test.

• 37:25Connor Wood?

  And 100?

• 37:27Brooke Averick?

And she wrote an 100 on my test. And I was like, hmm, weird. So then, once everything was said and done and everyone handed their test in, she was like, by the way, like, I just wanted to see how many of you actually read the instructions. Only half of us did. And so it was an automatic A just for reading the instructions because she was just so pissed at all of us for like never reading. The instructions, raise your hand. Those were the instructions.

• 37:52Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 37:53Brooke Averick?

So she was like, I just am rewarding the people that read the instructions, basically.

• 37:57Connor Wood?

Honestly, like, great, because that's teaching a skill.

• 38:01Brooke Averick?

She was teaching a skill. So I had actually gotten a 200 on that test because I blew the, out of the water with my knowledge about Mesopotamia, which to this day shows.

• 38:11Connor Wood?

It shows. I don't know why the word Mesopotamia is reminding me of like fingernails, but I obviously wouldn't have gotten a 200, but I would have raised my hand.

• 38:20Brooke Averick?

So you would have gotten a 100 plus?

• 38:22Connor Wood?

An 100. Yeah, I probably would have gotten a net 100.

• 38:26Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 38:27Connor Wood?

But I, um, I think that that's an important skill to have.

• 38:30Brooke Averick?

  I was pissed, honestly.

• 38:32Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 38:33Brooke Averick?

Cause I got an 100 anyway. I was like, I worked, I worked my ass off for this.

• 38:39Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. God, my gosh. My whole, my whole ass is completely numb. I'm sitting on the ground. But yeah, I'm okay. Like at the end of the day, perspective is so key. My ass might be asleep, but guess what? At least I know it's gonna wake up.

• 38:57Brooke Averick?

  So true. Speaking of perspective.

• 38:59Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 39:00Brooke Averick?

Have you seen the TikTok trend? It's like, she doesn't know it yet.

• 39:05Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 39:06Brooke Averick?

In two minutes, her husband's about to fall off the back of that jet ski and be decapitated, changing her life forever. I-

• 39:12Connor Wood?

  Post that video.

• 39:13Brooke Averick?

  I, what?

• 39:14Connor Wood?

  Nothing. Go ahead.

• 39:15Brooke Averick?

Connor, I can't with that trend. It's driving me insane.

• 39:21Connor Wood?

Yeah, no, it's, it's very, very annoying. It's very, very annoying. Yeah, she doesn't know it yet, but in 10 minutes, she's going to

• 39:30Connor Wood?

  blank. Guess what?

• 39:31Brooke Averick?

It's staring the shit out of me. She's like, she doesn't know it yet, but in 60 seconds after this photograph, she's about to feel a slight tingling in her arm, drop to the ground, call 911 in the nick of fucking time. Heart attack. Like, I don't need a reminder that anything can happen in one second.

• 39:50Connor Wood?

  Ellie Goulding already told us.

• 39:52Brooke Averick?

And I agree. Like, it is so horrible, that trend. It's eating me a lot.

• 39:57Connor Wood?

Yeah, it's, it's, it's really, it's really crazy, but trends, that, that one's on its way out, I hope. No one's, no one's even really done it, like a funny one yet.

• 40:07Brooke Averick?

No, I was like, I wanted to do a spoof on it, like-

• 40:12Brooke Averick?

I don't know. Over the weekend, like, he doesn't know it yet, but I don't know. I can't think on the spot, but like something funny?

• 40:20Connor Wood?

I might be able to post one because I actually, it was five years ago yesterday that I got fired from my last job.

• 40:27Brooke Averick?

So he doesn't know yet, but he's about to get fired? No, you need to do something that's like, you make up something.

• 40:33Connor Wood?

Oh, he doesn't, okay, okay, okay.

• 40:36Brooke Averick?

Anything that actually happened, like, it's not funny. Like, you need to do something creative.

• 40:40Connor Wood?

Well, it was, it was kind of funny because Logan, cousin Logan, came in my door right before, and she was trying to give me a mimosa. And it was like a work day, and I was like, Logan, I am at work. Like, some of us have a job here, you know, in this, in the COVID house. We may be, um, all grouped together and we're, we're, uh, what's it called when we were in a house?

• 41:00Brooke Averick?

  Quarantine?

• 41:01Connor Wood?

Quarantining. But like, I still have a job, okay? Sixty seconds later. You have been selected to not have a job. Congratulations. And so he doesn't know yet, but he is about to drink that mimosa in about sixty seconds.

• 41:13Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 41:14Connor Wood?

Oh, I miss it, man. I really do.

• 41:17Brooke Averick?

  Sure.

• 41:18Connor Wood?

  I miss the rage.

• 41:20Brooke Averick?

  I know. What a time.

• 41:22Connor Wood?

I have been, you know, at my, at my parents' neighborhood for a while now, for like three days. And we've been golfing and we've been, uh...

• 41:32Brooke Averick?

Every time you send me a Snapchat of like your surroundings in Texas, I'm just like, what? I don't get Texas.

• 41:40Connor Wood?

What part is confusing to you?

• 41:41Brooke Averick?

It's like Florida. It looks like Florida, but it's not.

• 41:46Connor Wood?

It does kind of look like Florida.

• 41:47Brooke Averick?

  Why are there deer everywhere?

• 41:49Connor Wood?

Because there's land everywhere. This is where people hunt.

• 41:54Brooke Averick?

I know. It's like, like hunt, like, it's like southern like that, but it's also reminding me of like West Palm Beach. At least where you live, Richie.

• 42:07Connor Wood?

Okay, now, I know that you aren't talking. Your daddy, your daddy owns the lake. My family just lived near it.

• 42:16Brooke Averick?

I never heard you talk like that.

• 42:19Connor Wood?

I'm just talking like holes. The duck may swim on the lake.

• 42:22Brooke Averick?

You know that was Sigourney Weaver?

• 42:24Connor Wood?

Brooks daddy owns the lake. Yeah, of course, I know that Sigourney Weaver.

• 42:28Brooke Averick?

  Sorry.

• 42:29Connor Wood?

Um, what is her name? Madame Tussaud in that movie?

• 42:31Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 42:33Connor Wood?

  What is it? Little Miss?

• 42:34Brooke Averick?

  Something else that's not that.

• 42:37Connor Wood?

  What is it?

• 42:38Brooke Averick?

  Something else.

• 42:39Connor Wood?

  Mama Snake Skin.

• 42:40Brooke Averick?

  It's Mama, not Mama Juju.

• 42:43Connor Wood?

  Mr. Man, Mrs. Man.

• 42:45Brooke Averick?

  No.

• 42:45Connor Wood?

  Man, Mr. Mr. Man.

• 42:50Brooke Averick?

  The Warden, the Warden.

• 42:52Speaker 06

  Warden Walker?

• 42:53Brooke Averick?

  Warden Walker?

• 42:55Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 42:55Brooke Averick?

Wait, who was the one with the nails?

• 42:58Connor Wood?

  That was Little Miss Kissy.

• 42:59Brooke Averick?

  It was the slasher.

• 43:02Connor Wood?

  The Hashling.

• 43:03Brooke Averick?

No, Sigourney Weaver was the Warden, but wasn't she something when she was younger or was that it's separate?

• 43:08Connor Wood?

No, that woman got killed by the.

• 43:10Brooke Averick?

  Who was that?

• 43:12Connor Wood?

That was Kissy, Mrs. Kissy. Kiss and Kate.

• 43:16Brooke Averick?

  Kate.

• 43:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah. Kiss and Kate Barlow.

• 43:19Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I gotta watch that movie.

• 43:22Connor Wood?

  I have to say.

• 43:22Brooke Averick?

There is, there's a throw up scene in it, which is why I could never.

• 43:26Connor Wood?

No, you're thinking of the peaches.

• 43:28Brooke Averick?

Nope, someone threw up out of dehydration.

• 43:30Connor Wood?

I have to tell you guys. I have to tell you guys something and it is not something that I'm proud of, but I didn't know Mimi was gonna walk up and I farted right before she stepped right over me and took the mic. And she didn't even say a word. Like, I was like, that's pretty impressive.

• 43:44Brooke Averick?

  Do you think she knew?

• 43:45Connor Wood?

It's hard to say. I don't think she would say anything. She's very classy.

• 43:48Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, she is very classy.

• 43:50Connor Wood?

She doesn't fart right before people walk up to go breathe into a mic.

• 43:53Brooke Averick?

Do your, like, parents talk about that kind of stuff?

• 43:56Connor Wood?

  Fart?

• 43:57Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 43:58Connor Wood?

No, like, it's, it's funny. Like, I have a video of my parents, like, this year. I guess my dad farted. And my mom said, that was the first time in our, our marriage in like 40 years that I've heard your father fart.

• 44:15Brooke Averick?

  Whoa.

• 44:16Connor Wood?

And he didn't even know she was in the room.

• 44:18Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 44:21Connor Wood?

I could have posted that video, it's really funny. I was like, I thought someone fell down the stairs because my mom was laughing so hard. It's very funny. Okay, well anyways, I've been in this neighborhood. And I'm going around everywhere and like every tree has like a plaque in front of it and it's like, "To our beloved, like, Richard."

• 44:37Connor Wood?

And I'm like, "If you, if I die and you put a plaque in front of a dusty old tree, I'm going to be haunting you."

• 44:45Brooke Averick?

  What do you want?

• 44:46Connor Wood?

Not a, not a plaque in front of a tree.

• 44:48Brooke Averick?

A memorial, mum. In memoriam, what do you want?

• 44:51Connor Wood?

Like, I can wrap my head, I can wrap my head around a bench, honestly. Like, I could see, "Come sit on me." Like, I, but I don't want it to be a normal bench. I want it to be, like, I want it to be in the shape of my body. And I'm, I want to be laying, like, planking type thing, but like, looking up. So like, on my back.

• 45:08Brooke Averick?

  So a statue?

• 45:10Connor Wood?

Yeah, but you can sit on me.

• 45:11Brooke Averick?

  A statue?

• 45:13Connor Wood?

A statue that you can sit on, yeah. A, a statue with utility.

• 45:16Brooke Averick?

You could do, you, like, squatting, so it could be like, people are sitting on your lap.

• 45:20Connor Wood?

I love that, but I want like fifteen or twenty of them.

• 45:22Brooke Averick?

Okay, just a bunch of you squatting.

• 45:24Connor Wood?

Maybe I just want to park with a bunch of statues of me. The, the, the memorial park of Connor. Because I love sitting. Like, that'd be actually, a bench would be perfect for in memoriam of, of me.

• 45:38Brooke Averick?

So a bench and a statue?

• 45:40Connor Wood?

He always needed a place to rest his fat ass. In, in, in memoriam. Yeah, I just like, really, what would you do in memoriam?

• 45:49Brooke Averick?

Maybe like a wing of a, of a bookstore?

• 45:51Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh, you want a wing?

• 45:53Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 45:54Connor Wood?

  My daddy owned the wing.

• 45:55Brooke Averick?

I, I, I could have said the whole place.

• 45:58Connor Wood?

You could have, but a wing is very classy.

• 46:02Brooke Averick?

  An aisle?

• 46:03Connor Wood?

A wing is giving old money, Brooke.

• 46:05Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 46:06Connor Wood?

Old money Ephron walks into the wing of her bookstore.

• 46:10Brooke Averick?

  Old money Ephron.

• 46:12Connor Wood?

Old money Ephron. Oh, it's foreshadowing, ain't it?

• 46:17Brooke Averick?

Um, how was your April Fools?

• 46:20Connor Wood?

I just, I just like, it pisses me off, man. I'm all for pranks, but like, a, a day of pranks for everyone doesn't sit right with me. Because some people were born to prank. I wake up in a pranking mood sometimes, and I get their asses. I wake up hungry to prank. You know?

• 46:36Brooke Averick?

Someone posted that like, April Fools is like, for unfunny people to... Joke.

• 46:42Connor Wood?

Yeah, it's it's for brands to be like, guess what? We are collabing with this brand and we are doing this insane thing. It's like, oh yeah, you got me. You should.

• 46:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, me too.

• 46:57Connor Wood?

Should be fired. I I don't know. And it's also, it's something else that pisses me off, and this is very niche, is people in the comments of like, these, these brands being like, I'm just, I don't want to give that example because

• 47:12Connor Wood?

it's like a brand and they do this absurd thing and people in the comments being like, no, because why would I literally buy this? You know, it's like,

• 47:19Brooke Averick?

I was getting so confused because like Deadline kept posting all these projects I was really excited about.

• 47:25Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 47:26Brooke Averick?

And I was like, because I had fallen for every single thing I'd seen on my timeline prior to that.

• 47:31Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 47:31Brooke Averick?

So it's like, are you telling me the truth or no? But they were. So it's just like, just, just wait till April 2nd to post, so I don't even have to consider.

• 47:41Connor Wood?

I know. Yeah, I actually took, I took that, I took the day off of posting because I was like, I don't want, I'm not in a, I'm not in a fun kind of mood. I actually haven't been in a funny kind of mood in a minute. And I'm not forcing it. Because that's when I start to really feel for people when I see my fun friends force posting stories and stuff and I'm like, ooh, that is not funny. You should just wait it until April 2nd.

• 48:03Brooke Averick?

  Just take time off, yeah.

• 48:05Connor Wood?

As, as a metaphor, like wait till April 2nd.

• 48:08Brooke Averick?

Yeah. Did you see, this is what I was like, is this April Fools, the cast of The Beatles?

• 48:15Connor Wood?

Yeah, I saw the cast of The Beatles and I'm so glad you brought that up.

• 48:18Brooke Averick?

Did you know it's four separate movies?

• 48:21Connor Wood?

  No.

• 48:21Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, it's four separate movies.

• 48:23Connor Wood?

Okay, talk about printing money. Um, wait, I screenshotted something that I actually wanted to talk to you about. So I know that the movie is gonna be.

• 48:35Connor Wood?

Who was cast? It's, it's, yeah, the movies are gonna be Paul Mescal.

• 48:40Brooke Averick?

  Harris Dickinson.

• 48:41Connor Wood?

Harris Dickinson, I like him. Barry Keoghan and who else?

• 48:45Brooke Averick?

  Joseph Quinn.

• 48:46Connor Wood?

Okay, like, obviously, hair and makeup is gonna have to just go ham city with these guys. Someone, someone posted was like, wow, seriously, an Asian Beatle? Like, we are so woke. They're talking about Barry Keoghan. They think he's Asian. Uh, like, the whitest, the whitest type of white person and Irish person. Um, we have gone so woke. Um, but someone was like, it really should have been like Fred Armisen, uh, um.

• 49:16Connor Wood?

Who's our guy that we love?

• 49:18Brooke Averick?

  Could be anyone.

• 49:20Connor Wood?

  Late Night with?

• 49:21Brooke Averick?

  Seth Meyers?

• 49:22Connor Wood?

Seth Meyers, it should have been Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen.

• 49:24Brooke Averick?

  Bill Hader.

• 49:25Connor Wood?

  Bill Hader.

• 49:26Brooke Averick?

  And Andy Samberg.

• 49:27Connor Wood?

And Andy Samberg. That should have been the Beatles.

• 49:29Brooke Averick?

Um, but I'm like, I, I'm put off as well. I really like, like, Harris. They're all great, but like, they're too relevant right now. It's like, almost feels like trendy. Where it's like, the Beatles, like, I, I don't know, I needed a few unknowns in there. I've been feeling like you, but...

• 49:49Connor Wood?

Look, I, you know, I love my unknowns. It makes me almost more drawn to the movies. When it's like an unknown person, because I'm like, I don't have any expectations for you. Blow me, blow my socks off, stranger. But, I agree. I don't like that there's prerequisites where like, I'm like, oh, no, that's not, that's Gladiator. Paul Mescal is Gladiator.

• 50:11Brooke Averick?

Paul is in every single thing that I've ever heard of.

• 50:15Connor Wood?

I mean, he, he signed a huge deal with somebody where it was like, you need to actually produce. He, he signed the Glenn, Glenn Powell deal of 12 movies in a year.

• 50:24Brooke Averick?

Because let us not forget, he's also doing the Merrily We Roll Along film.

• 50:29Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 50:29Brooke Averick?

That's being filmed over the course of 25 years. Not to be confused with the recording of the show that Sony just purchased.

• 50:37Connor Wood?

Oh, no, don't, don't get it twisted.

• 50:39Brooke Averick?

No, please don't get that twisted.

• 50:42Connor Wood?

Um, I know. I hope, I mean, I'm not even like a huge Beatles fan, whatever. I'm also not someone who's like, wow, they really...

• 50:49Brooke Averick?

  You don't like the Beatles?

• 50:50Connor Wood?

I'm not gonna go see it. I know, I didn't say I didn't like the Beatles. I'm just not like, there are, there are massive Beatles fans. I'm not claiming to be one of them. Like, I like that. I like their music. Well, I know the two of their names.

• 51:03Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 51:04Connor Wood?

  Ringo, Bingo, Shingo and Dingo.

• 51:09Brooke Averick?

  My god.

• 51:11Connor Wood?

Joel Olsteen, Ringo, um, what's the other one?

• 51:18Brooke Averick?

I mean, I, I don't know, like, what to tell you about Joel Olsteen.

• 51:24Connor Wood?

  He's a great man.

• 51:25Brooke Averick?

There's... Wait, now I'm getting confused between John Legend and John Lennon.

• 51:32Connor Wood?

  There's Joel.

• 51:33Brooke Averick?

  John Lennon.

• 51:34Connor Wood?

There's Joel Olsteen, there's Coffee Cup.

• 51:36Brooke Averick?

John, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison.

• 51:42Connor Wood?

  Yeah, that's what I said.

• 51:43Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 51:45Connor Wood?

They should have had Justin Bieber just randomly, like, a fifth, a fifth Beatles. What is going on with Justin Bieber?

• 51:51Brooke Averick?

I was about to say, like, it sparked me, it sparked the idea, like, what do you think about the phrase crashing out that's everyone's using?

• 51:59Connor Wood?

Um, like, it make, now it makes sense to me, like, he's crashing out, but I think that, I don't think that he's crashing out.

• 52:09Brooke Averick?

No, crashing out is starting to piss me off because they'll just say it about, people are saying it about literally, like, someone will post literally like a picture of their lunch, oh, he's crashing out.

• 52:18Connor Wood?

Oh, he's, he's literally crashing out right now. Oh, he's, he's manic, he's going through an episode.

• 52:21Brooke Averick?

  Yes, he's manic.

• 52:22Connor Wood?

Oh, no, no, no, he's not, he's not, he's not that Kony 2020 guy that was out, like, jacking off in his front yard, like, that is crashing out.

• 52:30Brooke Averick?

I'm not familiar with that guy.

• 52:31Connor Wood?

Oh, you should look into it, like, the guy that was running that whole campaign was just, like, outside naked jerking off in the bushes.

• 52:36Brooke Averick?

  Oh, nice.

• 52:37Connor Wood?

They found him, yeah, like, that is crashing out, okay, like, Justin Bieber being like, I'm posting a picture of my wife, you know, here, they're like, oh my god, he's literally, like, overcompensating, he's, he's not obsessed with her, he's just... Now, him posting a picture of Hailey Bieber with the song Irreplaceable by Beyonce was questionable, and I think that was a lapse in judgment on his part.

• 52:57Brooke Averick?

  It's not crashing out, though.

• 52:59Connor Wood?

No, questionable at best. Again, we have seen a crash out before.

• 53:06Connor Wood?

I don't think, I think crashing out should be maybe, you know what? I don't give a shit, say whatever you want. If they, if the people of the internet hive mind, if this is your crash out, let it be your crash out. And then we'll have to make up a new word for the next time someone jerks off in their front yard.

• 53:18Brooke Averick?

You know what else, what other word people are just like completely losing the plot of?

• 53:24Connor Wood?

  Huh?

• 53:24Brooke Averick?

  Parasocial.

• 53:26Connor Wood?

Okay, and explain, I'm, I'm gonna agree with you, but explain what, where you are.

• 53:30Brooke Averick?

I'm just gonna use us as an example. But someone will be like,

• 53:36Brooke Averick?

I, I really hope Brooke and Connor are having a good day. And then someone will respond like, that's extremely parasocial of you to, to like, have any like thoughts about their wellbeing, like, like people are just thinking like if you're a fan of someone, it's parasocial. Like if I was like, I'm looking forward to Justin Bieber's new album, like someone will, would literally be like, that's parasocial.

• 53:59Brooke Averick?

Like, people just think like being a fan now and like caring about someone and admiring their art is parasocial. Like we've lost that completely.

• 54:08Connor Wood?

  No, I agree with you.

• 54:10Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 54:10Connor Wood?

  Um, no, cause parasocial is

• 54:16Connor Wood?

very different. Parasocial is the girl that follows me into the bathroom after one of my shows to be like, hey, oh my gosh, like I didn't, like I just wanted to like, I figured we'd just get some alone time.

• 54:26Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 54:26Connor Wood?

  For the show.

• 54:27Brooke Averick?

Parasocial is like feeling like you are owed

• 54:32Brooke Averick?

by someone that you don't know and having their actions like affect you.

• 54:37Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 54:38Brooke Averick?

  Extremely.

• 54:40Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 54:41Brooke Averick?

And such and, and other things like that. It's not just like being a fan. And I think that people are using it as just like, oh, they're a fan of someone. They're extremely parasocial.

• 54:50Connor Wood?

Yeah, um, there's, there, we need a word to explain when people just adopt something and then attach it to every inkling of something that's similar because I've said that about.

• 55:05Connor Wood?

A lot of stuff, like we're just throwing words around. And then you've like, especially negative words. Where it's like, this person's this. And it's like, well, no, there are really bad people that, and that is. I can't even give the example anymore.

• 55:21Brooke Averick?

Well, it's also just like, even like valid criticism. Or just like, I don't know, like someone commenting like, I, I miss when Brooke and Connor were in the studio together. Like, okay. That you can say that, you know?

• 55:32Connor Wood?

  Valid.

• 55:33Brooke Averick?

And we'll be like, that's extremely parasocial. And it's like, no, they can, you know, it's valid.

• 55:38Connor Wood?

  Well, yeah.

• 55:39Brooke Averick?

We miss it too, you know?

• 55:40Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 55:41Brooke Averick?

It's just like, you can be a fan who, who wants certain things from. Someone you're a fan of within reason.

• 55:47Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 55:48Brooke Averick?

  I don't know. That's been like.

• 55:51Brooke Averick?

  Tickling me recently.

• 55:52Connor Wood?

No, I agree. Um, is it TV time?

• 55:57Brooke Averick?

Yeah, let's talk about TV. Can I say just like a few really quick things about other TV before we get into White Lotus?

• 56:03Connor Wood?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 56:05Brooke Averick?

I started watching this new sitcom. Mid-century modern. Have you heard of it?

• 56:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah, with, um, your boy.

• 56:12Brooke Averick?

  Matt Bomer.

• 56:13Connor Wood?

  Mm-hmm.

• 56:14Brooke Averick?

  Nathan Lane.

• 56:15Connor Wood?

  Yep.

• 56:16Brooke Averick?

And Nathan. Naniel, Nathaniel, Nathan? Some Nathan, another, an additional Nathan piece.

• 56:25Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 56:26Brooke Averick?

  Nathan Lee Graham, okay?

• 56:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 56:28Brooke Averick?

It is. Have you ever seen The Golden Girls?

• 56:32Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 56:32Brooke Averick?

It's Golden Girls. But gay men.

• 56:35Connor Wood?

  That's awesome.

• 56:36Brooke Averick?

But it is, it's literally like, they didn't try to make it any different than that in the fest.

• 56:42Connor Wood?

  That's awesome.

• 56:42Brooke Averick?

Like literally down to like. The mother, like it is truly. And Matt Bomer's character is. Betty White's character, Rose, just like sweet as sugar, dumb as rocks. Like, it's just, it's just. Like it's. It's not great, but it's so sweet and, and I'm really enjoying it. And that's actually why I wanted TV in my room.

• 57:03Connor Wood?

People need, people need TV like that.

• 57:06Brooke Averick?

  People need TV like that.

• 57:07Connor Wood?

Not groundbreaking, but the last one ended, so.

• 57:10Brooke Averick?

The last one ended? Just give me a different, give me the exact same thing in a different font.

• 57:15Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 57:15Brooke Averick?

  Yup.

• 57:16Connor Wood?

There's nothing, there's nothing at all wrong with that. And I'm, I'm on board. I get, I see, there's a huge like. Um, poster for it, like 17 posters near my house in New York. So it, like I see it every single day.

• 57:28Brooke Averick?

Yeah. I mean, it's like, it's perfect to have on in the background.

• 58:34Brooke Averick?

Also, a new season of Love on the Spectrum US comes out today.

• 58:38Connor Wood?

Okay, we're gonna get some updates.

• 58:40Brooke Averick?

  So I'm excited about that.

• 58:41Connor Wood?

Yeah, you need to keep us abreast on Love on the Spectrum.

• 58:44Brooke Averick?

I will. And then, um, Black Mirror, new Black Mirror, next week.

• 58:50Connor Wood?

You're gonna have to, I can't watch Black Mirror because of the way that it was affecting my mental and like a weird way, like it was giving me, maybe I could take a beta blocker and watch Black Mirror.

• 59:00Brooke Averick?

You've seen my favorite episode though, right? Hang the DJ?

• 59:04Connor Wood?

Remind me, just remind me, Ann, on that.

• 59:07Brooke Averick?

They're like living in what seems to be a simulation where you get paired up with someone to date and you're told exactly how much time you have together.

• 59:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:16Brooke Averick?

And you have to like live in a house with them and

• 59:18Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 59:18Brooke Averick?

  Just until your relationship expires.

• 59:21Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:22Brooke Averick?

If you have not seen that, I genuinely, I don't pride myself on having good taste in like TV and movies and stuff like that. This, but this genuinely, truly is like one of the best pieces of, of television ever. I really believe that.

• 59:38Connor Wood?

I, I, I might, I might, can you watch the first episode of Black Mirror and just tell me like, is it like so dark? I feel like

• 59:45Brooke Averick?

  Of the new season?

• 59:46Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 59:46Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I will next week.

• 59:49Connor Wood?

It was really almost going American Horror Story vibes, Horror Stories vibes.

• 59:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 59:55Connor Wood?

  That's at one point.

• 59:57Brooke Averick?

I like the more like mindfucky episodes.

• 1:00:01Connor Wood?

They're like getting really like close to what's happening.

• 1:00:06Brooke Averick?

No, that's how I'm feeling about The Hunger Games.

• 1:00:09Connor Wood?

  Oh, it's freaky.

• 1:00:10Brooke Averick?

It's very freaky and upsetting, but like that's the point.

• 1:00:13Connor Wood?

In the same vein as, um, I want to remind everybody, watch Veep. Another reminder to watch Veep, little gentle push to watch Veep.

• 1:00:20Brooke Averick?

Hey, maybe now that I'm getting a TV in my bedroom.

• 1:00:24Connor Wood?

It is a great, low stakes TV show that is some of the best writing ever. And Julie Louis-Dreyfus can do no wrong ever to me. Um, and it's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen in my damn life. So I'll say that again and I'll re-watch it at any point.

• 1:00:40Brooke Averick?

You should do a Veep re-watch podcast.

• 1:00:43Connor Wood?

Oh, yeah. Oh, my gosh, that's a good idea. Um, okay, should we do White Lotus?

• 1:00:49Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:50Connor Wood?

To close out? Okay, you start again.

• 1:00:53Brooke Averick?

  It's just like

• 1:00:55Brooke Averick?

it, there, it really is something to be said about

• 1:01:00Brooke Averick?

Mike White's talent of getting people genuinely interested in a show where absolutely nothing happens. Nothing has hap- pretty much nothing has happened all season. Nothing happened last episode especially. And yet I'm watching and I don't, I can't watch most things. So it's really a testament to his TV making abilities, his eye, because there is not shit but fuck happening on my screen.

• 1:01:25Connor Wood?

I couldn't agree more. I also think that like

• 1:01:32Connor Wood?

like AI could never do what Mike White is doing. That being said, like, I need to watch like 56 hours of this show. Like I want it to be on non-stop. Whatever brain, whatever chemistry does to my brain where like I'm so invested in these characters and they haven't even done anything.

• 1:01:50Brooke Averick?

They have not done any, like truly nothing.

• 1:01:54Connor Wood?

  They've done jack shit.

• 1:01:56Brooke Averick?

  Jack shit.

• 1:01:57Connor Wood?

Now, something that I'm kind of

• 1:02:01Connor Wood?

I'm losing my mind a little bit because like, the there's like a new community of people that have started to watch White Lotus that all they do is do theories, conspiracy theories all week. I'm a little tired of them. I wish that they had like, like their own version of White Lotus that like they could watch and then we could watch the intellectual version of White Lotus, where we just like sit back and we may have some thoughts, but it's not like, "Did you see her necklace in this episode? And this means this, and this means this." I'm like, I don't think that it's that. It's as conspiracy theorist vibes.

• 1:02:35Brooke Averick?

I mean, at least they're like conspiracy theorizing something like White Lotus instead of like, Joe Biden is an alien, you know?

• 1:02:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah, that's, that's true.

• 1:02:48Brooke Averick?

  Like, power to him.

• 1:02:50Connor Wood?

Power to him. Wait, I actually saw, that being said, I'm gonna pull up my favorite theory.

• 1:02:54Brooke Averick?

Is it that the hotel owner's wife is actually Walter Goggins's dad?

• 1:03:01Connor Wood?

And he transitioned long, long ago, and that he was much less, much less, like, passing back in the day, and then everyone being like, "Well, Walton doesn't look Asian at all." And they were like, "Well, like, what about this celebrity? This celebrity doesn't look that Asian, and their mom's Asian." I'm like, "Oh, my gosh. We're not..." See, that's, that's when I start to lose people. I'm like, "Okay, chill." There was a theory that, there was a theory that somehow a lizard's gonna get a gun, and that's the shooter. A lizard.

• 1:03:29Connor Wood?

Um, okay, wait, no, there was one-

• 1:03:31Brooke Averick?

But I do think that the guy is probably his dad.

• 1:03:34Connor Wood?

  I don't know.

• 1:03:35Brooke Averick?

  Cause he was like-

• 1:03:36Connor Wood?

  There was a lot of-

• 1:03:37Brooke Averick?

When he said his mom's name, he was like, "Wait, what? That's your mom?"

• 1:03:42Connor Wood?

Oh, this is the one I liked. Um, the, the like hotel owner, she is going to go to the police, um, to get them to arrest Rick, but Valentine and Guy Talk are gonna think it's about the robbery, and so they're gonna freak out. And Tim Ratliff is gonna think that they're there to arrest him and send him back home. Greg is going to think that Belinda called the police on him, and everyone will be scrambling in the mayhem of it all and result in a shootout.

• 1:04:12Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I like that.

• 1:04:13Connor Wood?

Yeah, I think that everyone's gonna think that the police-

• 1:04:16Brooke Averick?

Are there for them. This is gonna be the FBI, too, I think. Let's get the BAU on the case.

• 1:04:24Connor Wood?

Yeah, but then there's something weird about that Leslie Bibb. Like, there's something that we're kind of like overlooking there. Like, she was on the phone at 2:00 in the morning, you know, like when she saw Balancing leave, um, Jaclyn's hotel. And she also in that first episode was like, "Wait, I know the Rat lifts," you know? And so someone, and then apparently, the mom of the Rat, you know, the mom of the family, was speaking, and I didn't hear this, was speaking Thai in the first episode.

• 1:04:54Brooke Averick?

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:04:55Connor Wood?

People think that she's there to frame her husband.

• 1:04:59Brooke Averick?

  In a bad way.

• 1:05:00Connor Wood?

And said that Leslie and her, like, they might be in cahoots or...

• 1:05:05Brooke Averick?

  There's no way.

• 1:05:06Connor Wood?

Yeah, that's a little bit insane, too.

• 1:05:07Brooke Averick?

There's also like so many random little things that have happened, like Parker Posey speaking Thai. Just like little things that I'm like, there's no way that like all of those things are gonna be tied up.

• 1:05:18Connor Wood?

  I know, and then also...

• 1:05:20Brooke Averick?

And like the blender, like they're showing the blender way too much.

• 1:05:22Connor Wood?

Well, this is what I think about the blender.

• 1:05:24Brooke Averick?

With the mention of the poison fruit, too, as well. Like, it's not, not all of these things are gonna be tied up.

• 1:05:29Connor Wood?

I could see the ass blendo, like, being part of...

• 1:05:32Brooke Averick?

Put it in an ass blendo.

• 1:05:33Connor Wood?

Like, put it in the ass blendo. I think that, um...

• 1:05:38Brooke Averick?

  Like, that's gotta come through.

• 1:05:40Connor Wood?

I think that the body of the person that floated up at the beginning is because of the ass blendo.

• 1:05:48Brooke Averick?

  That I could see.

• 1:05:49Connor Wood?

I feel like someone got their ass blended.

• 1:05:51Brooke Averick?

That would be crazy if Mike White to show the blender that many times and have that, the ass blendo, like, not do any, be involved at all.

• 1:05:59Connor Wood?

The ass blendo, every time it turned on, I almost had to mute the episode, see, I, the sound of blendos and any type of hand droll, like, pissed me the fuck off so fast. I go zero to 100.

• 1:06:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:06:11Connor Wood?

Just like, I, the sound of those, and fireworks, lawn mowers, when people rev their engines.

• 1:06:16Brooke Averick?

Yeah, you have a noise sensitivity.

• 1:06:18Connor Wood?

Yeah, and smell sensitivity. That's a personality disorder.

• 1:06:24Brooke Averick?

I don't think you, oh, yeah, well, we can talk about that later, but.

• 1:06:29Connor Wood?

Wait, actually, I was thinking about.

• 1:06:30Brooke Averick?

Okay, wait, okay. But we're, we're about done here.

• 1:06:34Connor Wood?

We're about done here. I will be in the studio next week.

• 1:06:37Brooke Averick?

  Woo.

• 1:06:38Connor Wood?

And we'll have, we actually, we're gonna, we're gonna do some, uh, we have a special guest.

• 1:06:43Brooke Averick?

Izzy, is the guest episode we're recording next week, next week's episode?

• 1:06:47Speaker 06

It's up to you guys, I was gonna ask.

• 1:06:48Brooke Averick?

  Oh, it's up to us.

• 1:06:49Connor Wood?

I think we, I think we, um, well, let's talk offline.

• 1:06:53Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 1:06:53Connor Wood?

But we, we, we have a guest next week and we're doing two episodes for the next two weeks. We'll be in person, which is gonna be so nice for user 99613 on YouTube. Um, and if not, I just don't know how to help you. So we're doing our best. Thank you for the patience. All will be well so soon. Um, thank you, Mimi, for joining us.

• 1:07:21Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 1:07:22Connor Wood?

And thank you, every, everyone over there at Studio 58. Wait, that's not our number, right?

• 1:07:29Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 1:07:29Brooke Averick?

  We don't, we don't have a number.

• 1:07:31Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 1:07:33Connor Wood?

  Thank you all.

• 1:07:35Brooke Averick?

  Thank you. Bye.

• 1:07:36Connor Wood?
