I have always struggled with where to put eyeshadow, but I just discovered Thrive Cosmetics' new Focus Eyeshadow Palette, and it has changed the game because it has four essential shades, and then it's each labeled with where they go, like the lid, the crease, the fine or highlight. And now I have the perfect eyeshadow routine every single day.

• 1:19Corinne Vien?

It's so great. It's such a good cheat sheet. And then even if you don't want to do the full routine, I love their Brilliant Eye Brightener because I just slapped that right on. Like, I wore one of the shades of that to a little séance we did the other day.

• 1:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Ooh, spooky. Also, their Liquid Lash Extension Mascara, I'm wearing it right now. It's so good. And all their products are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and made with clean, skin-loving ingredients that work with your skin, not against it. Every time I use it and I'm around my mom, she's like, "Ooh, will you do my makeup for me?"

• 1:48Corinne Vien?

Someone asked us the other day if we had our makeup professionally done when we were wearing a bunch of Thrive, and we're like, "Wow, no, but thanks."

• 2:30Corinne Vien?

  Hello.

• 2:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hey.

• 2:31Corinne Vien?

This is, wait, do I say this is Two Girls One Ghost?

• 2:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, you do.

• 2:35Corinne Vien?

This is Two Girls One Ghost.

• 2:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Two Girls One Ghost. And we are your ghostesses. That's Corinne and I'm Sabrina.

• 2:42Corinne Vien?

  Hello.

• 2:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And we're still a little under the weather.

• 2:45Corinne Vien?

Under the weather. Yeah. Brains not working. We're very congested. So we're separated because we have two different illnesses. And how horrible would it be if we swapped them?

• 2:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. Let's just double dip, get super sick.

• 2:58Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, build our immunity, truly.

• 3:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We can communicate afar. We've done that for many years. And maybe we can also communicate in our dreams, because that is the theme of today's encounters.

• 3:09Corinne Vien?

Yeah, we're giving our encounters a little bit of a remix this year. And we're going to start theming every single encounters. So this week, dreams.

• 3:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I love the move. This week?

• 3:21Corinne Vien?

This week on Two Girls One Ghost, haunted dreams.

• 3:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And do I have some good ones for you? Okay, I'm going to read one from our listener Kathy. And it's called Exclusive, which I love. Like, we get the 411. "I was mentally kidnapped by a dreamwalker."

• 3:40Corinne Vien?

  Whoa, okay.

• 3:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't know why, but the wind outside is really loud. And like, the whole house kind of just shook. And I had this feeling that I was in a car and I wanted to buckle my seatbelt.

• 3:51Corinne Vien?

That is so confusing. Are you sure it's not another earthquake?

• 3:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No, I think it's just the wind.

• 3:57Corinne Vien?

  Geez.

• 3:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But also, like, why did I feel like I was in a car? I'm sick.

• 4:01Corinne Vien?

Because you're sick. And your readiness score was super low on your Oura ring. So your brain is just like, oh, I'm shaking. I need safety. Buckle up.

• 4:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Buckle up for this ghost story. Hello, ghostesses. Longtime listener, your podcast makes my drive to work so much more enjoyable. This is going to be rough for me to get out, and I hope it makes sense. I have not shared this story with anyone, because it's really embarrassing and unbelievable. But I know that you and your listeners will believe me. Yeah, we will.

• 4:28Corinne Vien?

  Well, always.

• 4:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I was in my late teens, eighteen or nineteen when this happened, and I'm now in my early fifties. So it feels like a lifetime ago, and I've definitely blocked out a lot of the details. But I'm gonna share what I can remember. You can use names, cuz honestly, I'm not sure I'm even recalling them accurately. But I'll set the scene. I was a young, carefree blonde, full of energy, working three jobs. A Domino's, a grocery store, and a liquor store. But I didn't just work, I played hard too. I love this. I was a total free spirit, dating lots of guys, never looking for anything serious. And one night, when I was working at the liquor store, a couple of guys came in. One of them immediately gave me strange vibes. He locked eyes with me, way too deeply. And for way too long, especially for someone I did not know.

• 5:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And it felt like this silent warning. His smile was off too, too knowing, too intense. I don't even remember if he bought anything, but it really felt like he lingered in the store for far too long. Finally, when he left, he paused at the door, turned back at me, and said, "Sweet dreams." It sent a chill straight through me, total creep.

• 5:38Corinne Vien?

That is so creepy. So I'm gonna steal that, I'm gonna steal that line, to be creepy towards people who deserve to be creepy towards.

• 5:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That night, I had one of those usual unremarkable dreams. But then, he appeared in it, and it felt completely wrong, like he didn't belong there. Like the dream just shifted, had been warped somehow. I didn't remember much beyond his presence, but it was enough to make me feel uneasy when I woke up. I chalked it up just to me feeling weird about the encounter I had earlier, and I tried to shake it off. But the next day, I had to work the day shift at the liquor store, and there he was, again. How he knew I would be there, I do not know. But this time, he came in alone, same creepy smile. He looked like he was in his early thirties, skinny with shaggy, dishwatered blonde hair that gave him an Iggy Pop vibe. Not good-looking by any means. There was something very unsettling about him.

• 6:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

He looked me dead in the eyes and asked, "How did you sleep last night? Did you have good dreams?" I swear.

• 6:39Corinne Vien?

Fucked up. This is not fair. If this is an actual person and not some sort of entity, it's very unfair that this guy has this power because he's misusing it.

• 6:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. Think about all the amazing things you could do with this dream or with this power.

• 6:49Corinne Vien?

Instead, you're being creepy towards this person who works in a liquor store. Like, leave them alone.

• 6:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 6:54Corinne Vien?

Figure out the answers to what is life. Don't be a stalker and a creep in the dream world, too.

• 7:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And how do you even combat this? You can't.

• 7:03Corinne Vien?

I know. How do you report this?

• 7:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I turned white as a ghost when he said that. And that night, it happened again. He was there in my dream, this time touching me, this time whispering in my ear, invading my space, invading my mind. It felt like a violation, like he was forcing himself into my thoughts. And I was terrified. I didn't want to be near him anymore. The next day, I had a shift at Domino's. And when I arrived at work, they told us we were finally getting a new manager. I was relieved. That is, until they introduced him. His name was Scott. Great.

• 7:35Corinne Vien?

  No freaking way.

• 7:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The guy from the liquor store. It was him. Now this creeper from my dreams had a name. And to make matters worse, he was my new boss. Like, how? How?

• 7:46Corinne Vien?

This is you. Like, this feels like you, doesn't it?

• 7:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It is.

• 7:50Corinne Vien?

Like, the stalking happened for a long time before she was ever introduced to him.

• 7:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's the paranormal version of you.

• 7:57Corinne Vien?

Unless he's an actual person that just has the ability to kind of drift into the dream world.

• 8:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, so then Kathy says the dreamwalking didn't stop. He would talk to me about things he'd seen in my dreams, things no one else could have known. So there was no denying it. He was there. And yet, strangely, I stopped feeling as creeped out by him. Yeah, because he's manipulating you.

• 8:18Corinne Vien?

Yeah, this might be a little bit of Stockholm syndrome.

• 8:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Jeez, this is terrifying.

• 8:22Corinne Vien?

Spending a lot of time with him.

• 8:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The lines between dreams and reality were getting blurred. And before I knew it, I was dating this guy. I don't even know how it happened. I even started spending the night at his place sometimes. It was the strangest thing because this man was not my type at all. I was a young, attractive girl with no problem finding a guy, and I had zero interest in anything serious. Yet there I was, practically living with Scott. He was diabetic, vegetarian, and had the worst gas.

• 8:49Corinne Vien?

Oh, my God. I know that looks aren't all that, but like, you literally called him ugly.

• 8:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know.

• 8:54Corinne Vien?

So you weren't attracted to him?

• 8:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And he had the worst gas is hilarious to me.

• 8:59Corinne Vien?

Oh, my God. Jeez. Yeah, because he probably spends time in the underworld.

• 9:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, he's like falling apart. He'd drink too much and go into diabetic seizures and I'd have to rush to get him sugar. But I didn't want to leave. It was like I was trapped. The guys I worked with started to notice and they asked me what's going on. What's wrong with you, they would say. They knew me and they knew this wasn't like me. And deep down, I knew it too. Something wasn't right. This is, he's like possessing her.

• 9:26Corinne Vien?

I'm, yeah, I'm so confused by this. This is the wildest story ever. And like, who the fu- this is kind of almost giving me Rick vibes from episode 12.

• 9:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 9:35Corinne Vien?

Like, he's not all here. There is something else going on.

• 9:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

He's part demon, yeah. So then a couple of girls reached out to me and they wanted to meet up at a restaurant to talk. When I arrived, they were there together and they told me that Scott had done the same thing to them. He'd entered their dreams, dated them, and used them for a while before moving on. I couldn't understand it at the time. They were different from me, right? They were the kind of girls he would easily manipulate, insecure from broken homes, easy targets. Not me. How was I the confident, free-spirited girl and easy target? I felt horrible thinking that, but that's where my mind went. They told me that they had become obsessed with him and couldn't let go of him even after he left them. And it took them forever to break free. One of them had even trashed his car and they wanted to help me get out of his grip. But at the time, I thought they were crazy, so I thanked them and I told them I'd be fine.

• 10:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But deep down, I wasn't so sure. I love that there's this like support group of girls who band together.

• 10:30Corinne Vien?

  Mm-hmm.

• 10:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And they're trying, like, this is a book.

• 10:33Corinne Vien?

This is. And this is also reminding me of the listener story that we read probably like a year or two ago, where there was that demon who would feed on negative emotion and basically take away negative emotion. But it's making me think that this guy Scott is part demon and he's like feeding off of obsession and need.

• 10:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Ah.

• 10:51Corinne Vien?

And like, he has to have someone because that's how he lives and like continues to get to be in a human body.

• 10:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I hate him so much.

• 10:59Corinne Vien?

Yeah, it's almost like the alien in the first Men in Black movie that like goes into the skin suit.

• 11:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, yeah.

• 11:05Corinne Vien?

Clunky and going around. Like, I picture him having all these needs and like trying to be human, but like he still has to find sustenance somehow.

• 11:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay. Kathy says, I'm not even sure what happened next, but I think I confronted Scott about the other girls. And of course, he denied everything and told me that they were just crazy. Eventually, he told me he was transferring to a different Domino's and we broke up. Honestly, I wasn't even heartbroken. I was just relieved and mostly embarrassed that I'd ever gotten involved with him in the first place. The guys I worked with never let me live it down. They could tell something was off, but I never told them the whole truth. The truth was that I was under some kind of spell. For years, I have wondered how many people can do this, walk into other people's dreams. Why do I never hear about it? And I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. See you on the other side. Kathy.

• 11:50Corinne Vien?

Kathy? Holy shit. I mean, is he like an energy vampire or something? Like, I'm so confused by this.

• 11:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I mean, I've definitely heard of dream walkers where like people can kind of go into dreams, which I've never met anyone. So if there are listeners out there who can do this, please tell us because that's sick. But please make sure you're using it.

• 12:07Corinne Vien?

I feel like I've never heard it in this context. I've always heard it as like something good.

• 12:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. I mean, he's using it for bad.

• 12:13Corinne Vien?

Right. And it's like, for, for what? But like, what's the end goal? Like, is he just getting off on?

• 12:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

He's trying to possess people, like own.

• 12:22Corinne Vien?

Yeah, scaring people, turning them into these obsessed creatures and then abandoning them. Like, I'm confused what the goal is.

• 12:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I mean, it's just like a shitty guy who is using powers for shitty reasons. Or is he even human? I don't know. But Kathy, I'm so sorry. You have no reason to be embarrassed because this guy manipulated you, took advantage of you. Anyone who can access your dreams and just does it without your permission, listen, consent goes all types of ways. I think dream walking should be a consensual, yes, you're allowed to do this situation.

• 12:56Corinne Vien?

Yeah. I mean, it reminds me of my old coworker who like, if she touched you, she could access like so much of your energy, your memories, traumas that you had. Like, she basically, she was that Seraven, essentially.

• 13:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's wild.

• 13:08Corinne Vien?

But she. She was so careful to block off that part of her when she was like at work or around people. She was so adamant about like not accidentally crossing anyone's boundary. And like, this is such a huge thing too with this. But Sabrina, to your point, when you were like, if he's even human, I kept thinking like demon, demon, demon. But now you're making me think like, especially because Kathy said people were confused, but like so was she. Because she was literally under some sort of spell. It felt like that.

• 13:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 13:34Corinne Vien?

What if he was some sort of like weird alien creature, you know? Like, I feel like we hear about that all the time where people are like, oh, the the Plebeians or like whatever are masquerading as humans. And you'll know that you are interacting with this type of alien or that type of alien because they fit these sort of molds. But it would make sense to me if it was some sort of alien creature, because we have been theorizing that oftentimes, alien abductions aren't abductions of the physical body. It's the astral body. And what if the dream world is some sort of like astral state? And that is how he can so easily access you there.

• 14:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I mean, how do we know?

• 14:12Corinne Vien?

  We don't.

• 14:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Either way, they're using whatever abilities they have for bad, and I don't like that.

• 14:19Corinne Vien?

Yeah, me neither. Oh, Kathy, I'm so sorry. It's messed up.

• 14:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And also the fact that he knew, like, it's almost like he picked her as a target and then accessed more than just her dreams. Like, by being in the dream, he accessed everything about her mind and just knew her. And then was able to like, get a job at her Domino's. Like, I don't know, I just feel like.

• 14:39Corinne Vien?

Well, he's such a leech. Like, he makes me think too, because he was spending so much time kind of building up to this point where he would eventually date Kathy, that he's doing this to multiple people all at once, I'm sure. Because as soon as he's done with Kathy, it's because he's sucking on the energy and soul of someone else that's fresher. And he hasn't like weakened and tried to destroy. So like, he has to go feed on someone else.

• 15:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hate it.

• 15:05Corinne Vien?

Oh, God, Scott, I hope I never meet you.

• 15:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

• 16:20Corinne Vien?

Okay, well, I have a story. Let's choose this one because maybe it will give us a little bit of relief. This is from Gigi. It's called "A Naked Man Haunted My Dreams As A Child."

• 16:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wait, I love this. Okay.

• 16:34Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, so another unwanted man.

• 16:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's not what you want to see when you're a child.

• 16:39Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 16:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't even want to see that now.

• 16:41Corinne Vien?

I hope it was like a Ken doll situation where it's just smooth.

• 16:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 16:46Corinne Vien?

Smooth bottom. "Hello, ghouls. I'm a huge reach fan. I began listening in 2019 during my freshman year of college, and I have not stopped since. Actually, during a walk back to my dorm at night, I was listening to one of your early episodes, and I thought to myself, I haven't been haunted in a while. I hope this podcast doesn't stir anything up. If I'm haunted, show me by turning off that streetlight." And it turned off.

• 17:09Corinne Vien?

I wasn't haunted other than by a not so great relationship, but that was still scary.

• 17:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Damn. Well, now I'm curious what ghost is following you.

• 17:19Corinne Vien?

I know. I hope it's just Sven. I hope it's the podcast ghost being like, oh, we'll give you a little something. We'll give you a little nibble here.

• 17:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 17:26Corinne Vien?

Here's a breadcrumb. When I was a child, I had nightmares every single night with no relief. My parents tried everything they could to help me to sleep through the night. Dream catchers, although we do not condone them now as we are not indigenous. I would tire myself out with sports, calming exercises and more, but I just could not do it. In my most frequent reoccurring nightmare, I would wake up from sleeping on my babysitter's couch. When I would open my eyes, I would first notice that the window above my head was red and smoky, as if there was this huge wildfire outside. I pushed myself up from the couch so that my feet dangle off. And then, as I begin to look around and realize where I am, a little boy walks in, straight to the piano in the corner, so that I can see his face.

• 18:09Corinne Vien?

Nothing about him stands out, and no matter how hard I try, I just cannot remember what he looks like, other than he has short brown hair and he looks maybe around the age of 10 years old. And I don't know how old I am in the dream. I don't look down at my hands or anything to see if I'm myself or if I'm someone else, but ultimately, I feel like myself. When the boy sits at the piano, he begins to play "Fer Elise." I don't know if I'm saying that right. I'm not a pianist or classical music connoisseur. And Gigi writes, "Cliche." I know. Well, I didn't. But at the time, the song was one of my favorites. It would send chills down my body when I would hear it be played in our old jewelry box. And as the boy works his hands up and down the keyboard,

• 18:51Corinne Vien?

he begins to play the tune on only low octaves and plays slower and slower, dragging out each key.

• 19:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm imagining this is very creepy now.

• 19:02Corinne Vien?

So creepy. And this is when I see him in the doorway to my left. A tall, disgusting shadow filled the doorway to the small kitchen. The keys that the boy plays begins to vibrate in my head, and the cool toned lights in the room begin to turn orange and then red, and then cast a deeper blood-like color across the room. Static and deep notes of the piano are piercing my ears, and I rip my eyes away from the figure in the doorway. As my eyes land on the boy again, I see him squirming on the bench as if he's in great pain, his arms still moving with the music, his head lolling from side to side. And then it happens. His head snaps back, almost looking right at me. And before I can react to the sudden silence,

• 19:44Corinne Vien?

thousands of insects crawl and fly from the boy's mouth and eyelids, and the static resumes with a deafening roar. The bugs are everywhere.

• 19:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Dude, this is not where I thought this story was going at all.

• 19:57Corinne Vien?

I know, this is fucked up. And like, Gigi's a child. This is coming from a child's... Well, is it coming from a child's mind or something else? The bugs are everywhere, on the lights, crawling up and down the walls, on my shirt, in my hair, thumping against the window. I snap out of my horror and I get up to run. The sound of the wings flapping and the exoskeletons crunching under my shoes, it's sickening. Thankfully, I know the anatomy of the house, so my retreat past the boy straight into the doorway in front of me isn't prolonged by grappling with my surroundings. I just need to make a sharp right through the doorway, aiming for the front door and its glossy golden handle, and then I will be free from the pests and the music and the bloody light. As my torso passes through the archway, a howling sound causes me to look to my left,

• 20:42Corinne Vien?

and my body turns right. It happened so fast that I'm not sure what I'm seeing. The collision with the naked man takes me off my feet, and I fall to my back in slow motion with this thing's spindly fingers wrapping around my upper arms, squeezing tight. In this eternity of a fall, I can truly see him for the first time. He is too tall. He is entirely naked, with loose wrinkly skin covering everything, and I mean everything.

• 21:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Ew.

• 21:13Corinne Vien?

It looks like the skin around him came from someone much larger and did not connect to the muscle below it. It almost floated around him, pulling away at odd parts of his body, like at the crown of his skull, his thighs, his shoulder. The most terrifying part of this whole experience, despite the fact that the naked man is falling on top of me, was the realization that this was not a man. This thing was not even human.

• 21:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, I was gonna say, it feels like it's wearing a meat suit, literally.

• 21:39Corinne Vien?

Literally, yeah. I didn't even make the connection before when I was talking about the Men in Black thing, but like, this is, this feels like it.

• 21:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 21:46Corinne Vien?

This was something entirely new, and it did not have a face. I mean, it was and also wasn't a face. Peaks and valleys where the eyes, the mouth, the nose should be, were present, but the features were missing. Instead, there was just skin.

• 22:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Ew.

• 22:03Corinne Vien?

Oh, this, this is like a Pan's Labyrinth, that creature. The fall took minutes, and I stared at his not face the entire time, as he stared back, skin-covered mouth open into a scream. I wish there was only an expression on his face, but of course, there was a noise coming from his mouth. And to this day, I cannot describe it. It was as if an entire stadium of people were able to scream at once, consecutively, for a duration of the fall, from the collision of bodies to the impact of the ground. The screams were so loud and shocking that in my dream, I started to fade into another place. I was being transported into this misty version of a scene in the back of my mind, and I

• 22:44Corinne Vien?

still saw what was in front of me, but I was also outside of myself, as the man and this dark figure, that I can only assume is myself, are intertwined, falling to the floor. But the memory of seeing outside of myself so distant that it feels like I'm reaching into the expanse of the back of my mind to call it forward. And trying to remember this part feels like I'm pulling at a never-ending rope with a memory that I want so desperately, but may never have again. I get relief from the noise when my body makes contact with the ground. As our bony bodies meet the linoleum-covered concrete, I see nothing but white light for a split second before I am awake.

• 23:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Damn, I was gonna say, like, when does she wake up? Because there's so many moments in this dream that you would think would trigger you to wake up.

• 23:28Corinne Vien?

  Right.

• 23:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Damn.

• 23:29Corinne Vien?

  Let's also remember, she's a child.

• 23:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's terrifying.

• 23:33Corinne Vien?

The contrast between my dream's white ending and my bedroom's darkness makes my heart race further. And when I wake up, my throat and my ears are always feeling strained, making it difficult to call out for my family. Something always tells me not to move, not to get out of bed. It's like electricity going through my bones, telling me, he's still watching. And if he sees that I'm awake, something awful will happen. Now he's real, and he's waiting for me to make a move. I wish that this was the last time that I would have seen him, but he has followed me for long after our first contact.

• 24:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Great, great, great, great.

• 24:08Corinne Vien?

I had the nightmare regularly, sometimes without being transported to that misty place outside of my body, and sometimes without the man, just the boy and the bugs chasing me out of the house and into the smoke before waking myself up. On the nights that I had these dreams, I woke up facing my bedroom door. I would swear that I saw his head peeking from the lower portion of my doorway. In my old house, the stairway was directly to the right when exiting my room. So if this entity was him, he would have had to be on his hands and knees on the steps, straining his neck to see if I was awake.

• 24:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No.

• 24:42Corinne Vien?

Most nights, I would sleep with my parents or with my sister. But on the nights that I was alone, I would be buried deep under my comforter with my body facing the doorway, the fear-filled tears staining my cheeks. I was always so rigid when I waited in the dark, too afraid to let whatever was there know that I was awake. At some point, the nightmares lessened, but to this day, I dream unpleasant dreams nightly. Some may be classified as nightmares, but usually I just describe them as troubling.

• 25:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 25:10Corinne Vien?

Thankfully, I haven't seen the naked man in years, knock on wood. And that's all I could ever wish for. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story. As much as I hope there isn't anyone else out there experiencing this dream, I can't help but wonder if this was my own personal haunting, or if the naked man has visited any other listeners as well. Keep up the fantastic work, and I speak for the entire TGOG community when I say that we appreciate you for accepting all of us into the community that believes in our hauntings no matter what. With horror, Gigi.

• 25:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Alrighty, Gigi. That is horrifying. And I have no answers. Uh, it's so creepy. It's just like...

• 25:48Corinne Vien?

Yeah. I feel like if I were writing a horror movie, I couldn't even dream up this scenario. I couldn't come up with it. It is so like horror stacked on horror disgusting.

• 25:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Who is this little boy? And why is his neck snapping and bugs flying out of his mouth? And like, what is this house?

• 26:07Corinne Vien?

I know. It makes me sad. Like, is the little boy someone who's like trapped by this old man demon weird entity creature? Because it was like he was screaming in pain, right? When his neck snapped back? Or is this just like an extension of the haunting? Like another thing?

• 26:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 26:23Corinne Vien?

  That...

• 26:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's like the more creepy imagery.

• 26:25Corinne Vien?

Yeah, entity creates. And it's so creepy that it's like it's implanting these dreams into Gigi, right? Because then when Gigi finally snaps out and wakes up, she has to pretend that she's not awake because she can feel the actual thing, that old naked man, present. And like she's spotted him looking to see if she's awake.

• 26:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, hate that. I don't know. Yeah, I'm curious if anyone else has seen this meat suit naked man. The way that she described it, I can picture it perfectly. And it's horrific. I'm sorry you had to experience this.

• 26:57Corinne Vien?

Yeah, me too. You know, when we picked dreams as a theme, I kind of didn't think we would get this dark.

• 27:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, this is from our listener Alyssa and it is called, "My Little Brother Visits Me in My Dreams." Hi Corinne and Sabrina, my name is Alyssa and this is the third time I've spell checked this email because I'll spell check it, send it, and find something, then do it again, but here it is.

• 29:02Corinne Vien?

Hey, don't worry about spelling your grammar around here. We certainly don't.

• 29:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No, and our brain's autocorrect, right?

• 29:09Corinne Vien?

Yeah, yeah. A lot of these isn't word for word.

• 29:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Anyways, I've recently started listening to you guys because my girlfriend is obsessed with this podcast. And as soon as I listened to one episode, I was obsessed and immediately hooked. You're both so funny, have the most interesting stories that I've heard in a long time. Oh, that's nice. And you helped me get through my 12-hour shifts at my factory job working on the line. So, the story I would like to share with everyone is a little bit morbid. Trigger warning, mentions of suicide. Back in 2018, my 13-year-old brother Clutch died by suicide in our backyard.

• 29:42Corinne Vien?

  I'm so sorry.

• 29:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Our parents are divorced and have been since I was five. We were living with my dad at the time, meaning that this was my father's house. I was 16 then, and I didn't have much time to focus on my own grief because my parents were feeling so much shame and guilt over the loss. I remember having to constantly remind them that they are amazing and telling them how much I love them. It was so difficult and painful to witness them grieving, especially because I knew it wasn't their fault in any way. My brother had told me many months before that he thought he had bipolar disorder, but refused any of my advances to make him see a therapist. About six months after his funeral, I was starting to get back into the regular flow of life. And on one casual day, I had gotten a ride home from one of my friends who happened to be telling me about this

• 30:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

new Ouija board her mom had gifted her as a birthday present. And I really wanted some answers, and I really wanted to contact my brother so that I could get some peace of mind.

• 30:36Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, I understand that.

• 30:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And more importantly, some closure. So when I heard this, I asked if I could borrow the board, and she said yes. Fast forward to that night, and I'm sitting on my bed with my best friend who was sitting adjacent from me. I'll call her Lana. She was staying with my dad and I at the time because her living situation at home was, well, let's just say unpredictable. So in between us was the board, the planchette, a jar of ashes, my brother's pocket knife, his favorite video game, a few candles, and a photo album that contained pictures of all 13 years of his life. Lana explained the rules of the Ouija to me before we began. And I've always been kind of spooked about the paranormal, so I made sure to really listen to her. We addressed the board, said our hello, and started summoning my brother.

• 31:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We sat in silence for a long time, waiting for the planchette to move, and eventually it did. Me, being very skeptical, stared at Lana, making sure that she wasn't moving it. And the reassurance she gave me was just enough to let my doubts go momentarily. So I asked, is there anyone here with us who recently passed away? We waited a couple of minutes and asked the same question. Eventually, the planchette moved to yes. After checking Lana's expression for any signs of foul play and finding none, I asked if it was my brother. And I said his name out loud a few times. It then moved to yes again. But I still wasn't sure, so I just said, Hi, I miss you. And very, very slowly, the planchette moved to spell out the word, sorry. At this point, I was convinced that it was him and that we had contacted him.

• 32:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So I told him that my mom and dad really miss him. It was difficult to watch my mother and father go through that type of grief. So I wanted him to know. To my surprise, the planchette started to move a lot quicker over the letters. And I was able to read, I know, followed by the number 10 and then 38, which is what the autopsy predicted was his time of death, 10:38 PM. At this point, I knew I had contacted my brother and started to relax a little. And I'm a very curious person and I wanted to ask him questions about the afterlife. And I asked him where he was in the room and he said, bed. I assumed that he just meant the urn that was right by my knee. And I also asked him, what happens to you when you die? And this reply still puzzles me. He spelled out air, A-I-R.

• 32:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Of course, I asked him what he meant with air and he just replied with yes. So I started asking him yes or no questions about heaven and hell. And the conversation went something like this. Are heaven and hell real? Yes. Are you in heaven? Yes. How are you talking to me if you're in heaven? He spelled out V-I-S-I-T, visit. Are demons real? Yes. When you visit, can you see demons? Yes. Can you see one right now? Yes. After that, my heart sank. I tried asking more questions, but my brother seemingly ignored the rest. I got a couple of random sorries after that and then the board went quiet. My best friend and I waited a while and eventually Lana got bored. And I was so shocked when Lana hopped up, suddenly taking her hands off the planchette and said,

• 33:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm gonna go get some ice cream. I immediately panicked and told her that she couldn't take her fingers off without saying goodbye. And she yelled back, telling me that it was fine, just keep your fingers on. Now, I'm scared. I know, how rude Lana. Oh my god. So now I'm scared. I've always been spooked by the paranormal, but I listened to her. I kept both of my hands on the planchette. And after waiting a while for her to dish out ice cream, I decided to talk to the board alone in my room. I asked, are you still here? A few seconds went by and I felt the piece start to move. My heart skipped a multitude of beats and I begged Lana to hurry up, shouting at her from my spot on the bed. I don't know why, but I had the strongest sensation that this was not my brother anymore. So I asked, is this clutch? The planchette moved to no. At this point Lana was back in the room, holding two bowls of ice cream,

• 34:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

watching me ask the board, well then, who are you? The planchette started to move and spell out a name, and I saw Lana's jaw drop in the corner of my eye. We both watched as the planchette spelled out the letters G A B A. Gaba? I said out loud. Big mistake. The planchette started maneuvering all over the board, creating an infinity sign type of shape and repeating it. It started to slowly speed up, recreating the shape over and over. My best friend, being a true creepypasta junkie, immediately reached her hands out, put her fingers next to mine on the planchette and forced us to both say goodbye.

• 34:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That same night, we took the board back to our mutual friend and told her that we had contacted my brother, thanked her and said nothing else. We didn't want to scare her with the mentions of a possible demon that we had made contact with.

• 35:03Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 35:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Or I guess I should say, I made contact with.

• 35:07Corinne Vien?

It's like, here's your birthday board. Thanks for letting us borrow it.

• 35:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, thank you.

• 35:10Corinne Vien?

By the way, there's a demon after, after the board.

• 35:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. When I went to sleep that night, I started having night terrors, which isn't new for me. And I had been dealing with bad dreams ever since my brother's death, so I didn't think anything of it. But this time, something really, really strange happened. In my dream, I was in an abandoned building, which is how most of my dreams start. But this one was darker. Then there was something very sinister and disturbing about this building. Maybe it was like a mental hospital or an old school that was abandoned? I'm not sure. But I do remember that in my dream, I was exploring each room down this long, dark hallway. And towards the end of the hallway was a closed door. I could clearly see the fluorescent light was on because a light was shining in through the crack at the bottom of the door. I reached my hand out to the door and I remember thinking how much I really wanted to go in this room,

• 35:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

the only room that was lit in this entire spooky building. Right before I could reach the handle, another hand reached out and grabbed mine. I jumped and I turned around as fast as I can, only to see my little brother, holding my hand, staring at me with worried eyes, shaking his head, saying, no, don't go into that door. He held my hand tight and gestured for me to follow him. He led me outside of the building and into the parking lot and then disappeared. He kind of just dissolved is the best way I can explain it. I woke up shortly after that and had the most confusing set of emotions. I was terrified, but also overwhelmingly soothed. To this day, I still think he was protecting me from something that I'll never want to know about. And I tell everyone that he is my literal guardian angel because he would never let me go towards something

• 36:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

dangerous or ominous, even in my dreams. Thank you guys so much. I love you both. I hope you enjoyed my story. Feel free to share it to whoever listens to you two amazing women. From Alyssa.

• 36:52Corinne Vien?

This is reminding me so much. It's like a blend of insidious meets talk to me in terms of

• 36:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 36:58Corinne Vien?

how I'm picturing the visitation realm or whatever.

• 37:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 37:02Corinne Vien?

And kind of like the battle between her brother almost and like trying to keep her safe and all of these other creatures and entities and spirits roaming about and trying to like take advantage of communication lines and portals that are opening.

• 37:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. Cause that's the biggest thing with Ouija boards is like, or any type of communication with the paranormal. When you're opening yourself up to that, even when it's used for good and you're trying to speak to someone who you love, your loved ones, opening up to that means that someone else or something else, something darker could potentially sneak in and be like, hello, gabagool here.

• 37:38Corinne Vien?

Yes. And I understand wanting to communicate with your brother and like having communicated with him, being alone on the bed and being like, well, let me just give it one more go. But it's also like, her brother so clearly was like, oh my God, there's a demon nearby. Like, I gotta dip, but thank God he is looking out and

• 37:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 37:58Corinne Vien?

he is making sure that nothing is going to actually harm his sister.

• 38:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Keeping you safe. Well, now it makes me want to know more about like what it's like to be a ghost, which I think about often.

• 38:09Corinne Vien?

  Me too.

• 38:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

For like a day, could I swap places with a ghost?

• 38:12Corinne Vien?

Which kind of ghost? Like a ghost who's crossed over or a ghost who's actively haunting one place?

• 38:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Any ghost. I just want to know what's up on the other side.

• 38:21Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 38:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'd even swap places with the demon. Like, what's up?

• 38:25Corinne Vien?

  I don't know. It's also weird.

• 38:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

• 39:56Corinne Vien?

Okay, I have an email called "Astral Projection: Dream Communions with the Dead." Hey ladies, my name is Dylan, and I have a few spooky stories that relate to when I go to sleep.

• 40:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Ooh.

• 40:09Corinne Vien?

For starters, my childhood home had an ominous vibe to it, like the feeling of being watched when you're alone, and the hair on the back of your neck standing up whenever you would walk down the hallway, which I did have to do to get to my room because it was down the hallway. Anyway, when I was young, probably nine or 10 years old, I went to sleep after my brother and my uncle got into a particularly nasty argument. And I remember all of a sudden being awoken by the sensation of being weightless and floating in my room. I can only compare it to that feeling you get in your stomach when you drive down a sudden dip in the road. And I don't remember ever looking down at my body, but I do remember that although I was awake and aware, I didn't have a physical body that I was inhabiting. I could feel myself rising up towards the ceiling and then looking down over the roof of my house.

• 40:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What?

• 40:55Corinne Vien?

I floated for a bit, making my way over to the part of the house where our front doorsteps were, and my brother was sitting there with one of his friends, drinking and smoking cigarettes. I was floating what seemed to be maybe five or so feet above the two of them, just watching. And I remember the urge to hide because I knew I was snooping and I didn't really want them to catch me, but I didn't have much control over my direction. So I watched the two for a couple of minutes and then I floated back to my room where I could feel that I was back in bed and then I fell asleep. When I woke up the next day, there were beer cans and cigarette butts on our front doorsteps. I never asked my brother if his friend was over because I didn't want him to get mad at me for snooping.

• 41:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, you can't help it, you were astral projecting.

• 41:39Corinne Vien?

Yeah, that was it. You had no control. I don't know about y'all, but that sounds a bit like astral projection to me, lol.

• 41:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yep.

• 41:46Corinne Vien?

Another time weird shit happened to me during my sleep, also involved my brother and our haunted house. It was during the last few months of my eighth grade year that my family and I had sold our haunted house good riddance. And my mom and I were temporarily staying with my uncle at his house so that I could finish the school year out while my brother and my dad finished tying up a few loose ends at our old house, like finishing up the last bit of packing, et cetera. One night, I dreamt that I was sleeping in my brother's room, but he was nowhere to be seen and his room was just as messy as I remember. I dreamt that I rolled over and I felt a sharp stabbing pain in my back. And when I grabbed it, what poked me, I found a little sewing needle. I placed it on the nightstand next to his bed and then I went back to sleep.

• 42:29Corinne Vien?

I woke up that next morning and told my mom about the weird dream and we exchanged, wow, that's weird, and went on with our day.

• 42:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Shut up. Did it happen to him in real life?

• 42:39Corinne Vien?

Later that evening, my mom was on the phone with my dad, informing her about their progress, getting the house all packed up. And he handed the phone to my brother, who, when my mom asked about his day, informed her that he woke up last night to a sewing needle stabbing him in his back.

• 42:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Stop.

• 42:55Corinne Vien?

My mom shot her head towards me with this look of what the actual shit in her face. Her eyes wide, her mouth agape, and she said, what? Confused as to why she was glaring at me, she said, with my brother still on the phone, Dylan had that same exact dream last night. And I too get this look of what the actual shit on my face. And then I heard my brother yell, what the fuck? No fucking way. Through the phone and then we're all just nervously laughing away at this point.

• 43:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Dylan, you are powerful as fuck. My gosh.

• 43:25Corinne Vien?

I know. And clearly so connected to her brother too. It's like all the moments where he's being harmed or like emotionally in this kind of like disturbed state. Dylan is finding herself there.

• 43:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right. Damn.

• 43:38Corinne Vien?

Now I'll tell you all about how I've been visited in my dreams by my dead relatives. So far, I've had two encounters, one of which happened to be last night during a full moon. Oh, did I forget to mention that I almost always have the weirdest, most vivid dreams during full moons? Well, I do.

• 43:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Makes sense.

• 43:55Corinne Vien?

This first encounter was with my maternal grandmother, Mary. Mary wasn't the warmest grandma to me growing up. In fact, one year she literally stole my Christmas presents.

• 44:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Rude.

• 44:06Corinne Vien?

I believe it was out of spite because I wasn't present for a Christmas party at her house, where all of the grandkids had been together, minus one me. Anyways, she died when I was about 19 or 20 years old and we weren't close, but I still cried at the news of her passing. I mourned for the few good memories that I did have of her and I couldn't help but feel like my inner child was mourning the grandmother that I wished that she had been.

• 44:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 44:30Corinne Vien?

A few weeks go by and I honestly really didn't give her another thought until one night. I dreamt that her and I were driving aimlessly down this road. She was apologizing and asked me what she could do to make up for everything. I wasn't happy to be in the car with her and I remember saying, just take me to Starbucks. And an effort to get this encounter over with. So I searched for Starbucks on my phone's GPS. We followed the directions and we get to the destination and the Starbucks was not there. So Mary was very flustered as we drove to another Starbucks a little further away. And again, we pulled up the GPS to see where it could be. We get there and there's no Starbucks. And this happens a few more times during the dream. Each absent Starbucks sending Mary into this deeper and deeper panic.

And we were parked in this empty lot of the final Starbucks that we tried to track down. And Mary sat beside me crying, telling me she was so sorry that she couldn't make it up to me.

• 45:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 45:24Corinne Vien?

I don't remember saying anything to her. I only watched her cry. And in the next moment, I was awake and I felt fucking odd. Like even the air in my room felt heavy. I think my Grandma Mary visited me and tried to show me a kind gesture in an attempt to make up for her actions. But I haven't had a dream of her since.

• 45:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 45:44Corinne Vien?

Last but not least, my most recent dream encounter. My Aunt Wendy passed away a couple of years ago. And unlike Mary, Wendy was the sweetest and most inviting human I have ever had the privilege of knowing. Being loved by Wendy was a gift. She made everyone feel like a part of the family. And anyway, I thought about her from time to time over the years. And last night, she appeared in my dream. And in this dream, I was walking in a rough neighborhood that I used to live in. And I remember that in my dream, I was just going through it. I had no car. I was broke. I was anxious. I was overwhelmed. I had just broken down on the sidewalk, just sitting there sobbing.

• 46:23Corinne Vien?

When I look up in between my cries and snot bubbles, yes, I ugly cry in my dream state and in real life, lol. And I saw my Aunt Wendy with a look of concern on her face.

• 46:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 46:34Corinne Vien?

So I looked up to her with her warm eyes and I cried about everything that was going wrong. I cried and I pled, what do I do? And Wendy said, don't worry, I'll help you. I'll call you. And right as she said, I'll call you, my alarm went off and I jolted awake. I honestly have been feeling overwhelmed lately and I think my Aunt Wendy visited me to remind me that I'm not alone and that everything is going to work out. Thank you all for reading my stories. I love the pod. Wishing you blessings and continue to success. Love, Dylan.

• 47:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, I mean, Dylan, you clearly have quite the connection to your family members and to the astral dream world. But it does make me think that despite not having a great relationship with Mary in life, she's still watching over you and she's determined to make it up to you. Like, maybe she's seen the wrong of her ways. And then you have Wendy, you have like a badass, strong guardianship on the other side.

• 47:32Corinne Vien?

Truly. It does make me feel a bit bad for Mary. Like, I do wonder if there's, if there was just like deep regret, or if this is kind of like one of those things where she has to make up with the people who she wronged in order to be able to move on.

• 47:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's a lesson that she'll have to learn in the next life, I guess, too. Because that's always so fascinating to me. It's like, you live a life, I believe, there's lessons that you didn't learn in your past life that you have to learn in this current life.

• 48:00Corinne Vien?

That's like your focus. I'm like vaguely remembering. Remember the other day, Sabrina, when I was like, I have a ghost story to tell you, and then I couldn't remember it?

• 48:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 48:07Corinne Vien?

And now I'm like vaguely remembering it. And it was a dream. It was this like really intense dream that didn't feel like a dream. It felt like, it felt like a life that I was living in an alternate universe, like another version of me.

• 48:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

When did you have this dream?

• 48:21Corinne Vien?

It was a few days ago.

• 48:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, shit.

• 48:24Corinne Vien?

But in the dream, it was about my, it was about like Noah and me being in this like predicament that was almost like a near death experience. And I can't remember exactly what it was, but that I felt kind of like this overwhelming presence and like the image of my Uncle Dickie popping into my mind again. And then, like, the next day, when I was talking to my relatives in the dream, talking to my relatives about like how scary what it was, like what was being experienced, they were like, you know, we always feel his presence, but for like an hour of time the other day, we didn't feel him at all. And so we were concerned because we thought he left. And it was like synced up with when I was being saved. So, I mean, it was all a dream and it like didn't actually happen in this realm.

• 49:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I feel like your Uncle Dickie has made himself known to you and to Noah. And I feel like he's been showing up a lot more.

• 49:11Corinne Vien?

He really has. And he was not the one that I thought was gonna come through. But I think he might be, I think he might have his eyes on Noah.

• 49:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

He's claiming Noah as his little guardian baby?

• 49:21Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, I think he is.

• 49:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, that's so cute.

• 49:23Corinne Vien?

I hope that Noah gets to spend time with him, because if that's the case, Noah's gonna be friggin hilarious.

• 49:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, so cute.

• 49:29Corinne Vien?

I'll let you know if he has Uncle Tiki's sense of humor.

• 49:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, well, you're hilarious, so I'm sure Noah will be hilarious.
