• 1:20Speaker 02

  Yeah!

• 1:20Speaker 03

  Happy to be here, guys.

• 1:21H. Foley?

Look at him. Just found out he was 28. I thought you were 65. Did you realize you?

• 1:27Speaker 02

Man, he's an old soul, this one. He's got the gold bracelet on.

• 1:30H. Foley?

You look like you should have a checkbook in your back pocket.

• 1:33Speaker 03

Sometimes I'll be talking to people, and some people will say I look young, and most people will say I look a lot older, but I think that's a compliment.

• 1:37Speaker 02

I don't think you look older.

• 1:38H. Foley?

  Which one's your son? What?

• 1:40Speaker 02

I think you carry yourself old.

• 1:42H. Foley?

  Yes, yes.

• 1:43Speaker 02

  You're a, you're a, you are, you, you're a...

• 1:45Speaker 03

I'm an old soul. I always say I attribute that to watching Friends growing up instead of watching Suite Life of Zack and Cody. So I watched Friends when I was about eight years old to about 12. But, um, yeah, no, I think that's a compliment. I'm about to be 29, so I'm closing in on 30.

• 1:58H. Foley?

I'm responsible with my bank account.

• 1:59Speaker 03

Yeah, closing in on 30. And, yeah, I'm 29. Hey, can I ask you guys a question before we start this?

• 2:03H. Foley?

  Please.

• 2:04Speaker 03

I know you guys just mentioned, you said Kevin's your best bud. Are you guys actually best friends?

• 2:07Speaker 02

  Yes.

• 2:08Speaker 03

Or is this, or is this just podcast best friends?

• 2:10Speaker 02

At this moment specifically? Or, no, I mean, we've been best friends for about, I don't know, 15 years?

• 2:15H. Foley?

Who would say I'm your best friend?

• 2:17Speaker 02

We've been, I've known him for 15 years.

• 2:20Speaker 03

So he would be, my, my, sorry for asking, you guys married or single? To each other? No, not to each other. It's open, you know what I mean? Uh, I'm married, I'm married.

• 2:29H. Foley?

  It's a marriage of convenience.

• 2:29Speaker 03

I'm married, he's married as well. So were you guys groomsmen? Aw, man.

• 2:34H. Foley?

  What's going on here?

• 2:35Speaker 03

What do you, were you on the Reddit page before this? No, I was just, is that a thing, do they talk about that?

• 2:40H. Foley?

Kevin, Kevin, it's Glenn from TMZ. Why wasn't Henry at the wedding? Trying to get into an escalation.

• 2:46Speaker 03

That's how I equate my friends, I think there's like, there's best friends, then there's groomsmen, then there's maybe bachelor party, then there's acquaintances.

• 2:53H. Foley?

  Hold on, that's because you're 29.

• 2:55Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 2:55H. Foley?

That also, that also goes with you saying that you just started a Jersey Shore re-watch, and then you also said that in high school, you guys would dress up as the Jersey Shore characters and watch it.

• 3:05Speaker 03

We would not dress up as the characters and watch it.

• 3:07H. Foley?

You got real high school musical vibes.

• 3:09Speaker 03

Going into, we were 8th grade, going into 9th grade was when season 2 premiered, so season 1 obviously popped off, and then we did a big season 2 premiere party. You got it. There was zero alcohol, we were 13 years old, all the girls were wearing their tight skirts, which sounds weird because they were 13 years old. We were all wearing our Guido stuff, we spiked our hair, everything, it was a fun little, it was a fun thing to do, posting the photos on Facebook.

• 3:28H. Foley?

Couple of snacks at the house.

• 3:30Speaker 03

Yeah, we got the cool, our cool mom was the head of it, it was a fun time. It's the Jersey Shore, man, it was, it was a cultural phenomenon, nothing like it. That's.

• 3:37H. Foley?

  So.

• 3:37Speaker 03

That and Linsanity were the two biggest cultural phenomena.

• 3:42H. Foley?

I remember the night that that kid popped, being like, what the fuck's going on here?

• 3:45Speaker 03

It was the day before the Super Bowl. The day before the Giants won the Super Bowl. The day before the Giants won the Super Bowl, yeah, and then the next day, actually, the Giants won the Super Bowl, that Monday night, I went to the Knicks game, hoping the Giants would be there, they all were. And it was also the second game of Linsanity. It was against the Utah Jazz, I think, I mean.

• 4:01H. Foley?

  29's alright.

• 4:01Speaker 03

Yeah, and Linsanity was unbelievable. It's like a sports almanac, it's good for New Yorkers.

• 4:07H. Foley?

A time capsule, the early 2000's, I like it.

• 4:09Speaker 03

  I had my jersey.

• 4:10H. Foley?

Let's go back. Origin story. Hit us with it.

• 4:13Speaker 03

Uh, origin story. Long Island kid. So, uh, so my whole family's from Corona, Queens. Okay. My parents met in Corona, my whole family, like, all my aunts, uncles, everyone. So actually, my mom and her two best friends married my dad and his two first cousins. No way.

• 4:27H. Foley?

  Wait, hold on.

• 4:28Speaker 03

What a package deal they call that.

• 4:29H. Foley?

  This explains the groomsmen thing.

• 4:31Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 4:31H. Foley?

Which, that's gonna shatter when you get, when you get in your thirties, by the way.

• 4:34Speaker 03

No, I'm sorry. I thought it would be a nice thing to dictate your friends by. Shut it, it is.

• 4:38H. Foley?

You think you're gonna be talking to a groomsmen in five years?

• 4:41Speaker 03

Wait, oh. But, um, yeah, so, whole family from Corona, Queens. Like, my grandparents are all from Corona. My one grandpa is from Greece, actually. And then, um, yeah, so they all met. Not, my dad was nineteen, my mom was sixteen when they met, kind of, whatever now, but... It's a different time.

• 4:54H. Foley?

  Yeah, it's a different time.

• 4:55Speaker 03

Corona, Queens. Different time for them, so... Might have been the eighteen hundreds.

• 4:58H. Foley?

All they were doing back then was necking and getting ice cream.

• 5:01Speaker 03

So, they were, uh, nineteen sixteen, met in Corona. And then, yeah, pretty much, my mom, her two best friends, married my dad and his two first cousins. No way.

• 5:07H. Foley?

  Get the fuck outta here.

• 5:08Speaker 03

Are they all Greek? Are they Italians? They're all Italian. All Italian.

• 5:11H. Foley?

Is that what your nationality is?

• 5:12Speaker 03

Yeah, I'm seventy-five Italian, twenty-five Greek. So, my, um... New York Italians always have a twist of Greek, and they don't like, they don't love it. Well, I had four grandparents, and, so, one of my grandparents that was Greek, he was from Greece, off the boat from Greece, married my grandma, they all passed away, but my Greek grandpa passed away in, like, nineteen eighty-three. Mm-hmm. And then, he was actually, I believe he was a gambling addict, so he owed his Greek family a decent amount of money. No shit. And then, cut my family off. So, I don't know any of my Greek family. So, I kinda consider myself full Italian. That's old country shit. I like that.

• 5:39H. Foley?

The Italians really got to you in there.

• 5:40Speaker 03

So, I don't know any of my Greek family. I know none of my Greek family. One of my, the only Greek family I've met, they live in Denmark now.

• 5:47H. Foley?

Damn, we don't talk to them.

• 5:48Speaker 03

Apparently, he, um, so, my grandpa, his name was Odysseus Harakopis, he apparently worked to put his brother through NYU to become a doctor. And then, he put him through, became a doctor, and then, he said, "Oh, do I either wanna be a big fish in a small pond, or a small fish in a big pond? So, stay in New York or go somewhere else." Mm-hmm. He randomly decided to go to Denmark. He moved to Denmark out of the blue, and he became, like, Denmark's leading autism doctor. Wow. So, if you look it up, you, I think you could look up, um, Demetrius Harakopis, uh, Denmark, he's like Mr. Autism. Like, they have a book, they call him Mr. Autism. So is Holy. Yeah, it says, "Demetrius Harakopis, Mr. Autism." He's like their lead, uh... Their lead doctor. Autism doctor, yeah. I think he's passed away now, I've never met him, but his daughter and her son. His daughter and her son came to America a few years ago, I met them.

• 6:32H. Foley?

It's like I'm talking to one of your aunts, the way you're explaining this.

• 6:34Speaker 03

But, either way, so I don't know any of my Greek family. Sure, sure, okay.

• 6:37H. Foley?

Let me tell you something, New York Italian family, if you're on the wrong side of that, somebody's crushing you for generations. Sure. The way he just described that. Tell you what, though, I don't hate that move. I tried to play football at a prep school after high school for that exact reason. Big fish, small pond.

• 6:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 6:53H. Foley?

  It's pretty good.

• 6:53Speaker 03

Yeah, that was the Greeks, but um, yeah, then, so they're all from Corona. I moved to Long Island.

• 6:58H. Foley?

  The family did.

• 7:00Speaker 03

Me and my parents moved when I was about three years old, and then the other two sets moved when they were about, my cousin.

• 7:05Speaker 02

So they migrated out of the city, got out of the city.

• 7:07Speaker 03

Now we're in Long Island, yeah, South Shore, Long Island, so I live in Malvern. My other family lives in Franklin Square and East Meadow, so, South Shore, Long Island.

• 7:14H. Foley?

  Ready-made vacation, I like that.

• 7:16Speaker 03

Beautiful. It's a great place, man. It's 15 minutes from the beach, 45 from the city. It's unbelievable. I've been doing my little hot guy walks on the boardwalk at the beach every day. I drive down there 20 minutes, 40 minutes each way. It's a great walk.

• 7:29H. Foley?

What's the go-to smoothie these days?

• 7:31Speaker 03

Smoothies, I don't do much, man.

• 7:32Speaker 02

  A chocolate milkshake.

• 7:33Speaker 03

Yeah, smoothies, I haven't been doing much, but I just do my walk and then there's a great poke place. It's fantastic. I love Long Island. I love it. It's a great place.

• 7:39Speaker 02

Yeah, if that's all said and done, career's over, you retire in Long Island, is that ideal for you?

• 7:43Speaker 03

  See, here's the thing.

• 7:44H. Foley?

  Everybody's out there.

• 7:45Speaker 03

  Here's the thing, man.

• 7:46Speaker 02

I love it. Pete, sorry to cut you off, but Pete, we've always said this, uh, we're from Philly, so it's like, it makes it that much harder to get back to Philly. I would move to Long Island if I had my family.

• 7:55Speaker 03

If my family was in a heartbeat. It is, that's, that's the problem too, is everyone always tells me, they go, when are you gonna move out? When are you gonna move out? When are you gonna go to Florida? When are you gonna go to Nashville or something? I'm like, dude, all my friends and family are here. And it's, and it's not like it's a disease to be from New York, but like, you don't, you don't leave. Everyone says you're gonna leave.

• 8:10H. Foley?

  I'm leaving in a coffin.

• 8:11Speaker 03

You don't, you don't leave. No one leaves.

• 8:13Speaker 02

  Sure.

• 8:14Speaker 03

The only way people leave, I would say.

• 8:15Speaker 02

  Go Staten Island, maybe.

• 8:16H. Foley?

Who's saying that to you? Some guy working on his car at the house next to you?

• 8:19Speaker 03

No, it's just a bunch of my buddies always be like, oh, not, not my Long Island people, but like, people I used to work with.

• 8:23H. Foley?

Thought you dreamed to go to Nashville, Glenn, what happened?

• 8:24Speaker 02

No, we're showbiz friends. Why don't you move here, move there?

• 8:27Speaker 03

I love Nashville, I love Florida, like, I would love to move to Delray Beach, Florida, but people don't leave.

• 8:31Speaker 02

Even does the New York, the Delray Beach.

• 8:34Speaker 03

I love Delray Beach. Delray Beach is amazing. It's fantastic.

• 8:37Speaker 02

I love, I can't. The old ball and chains keep him here.

• 8:42Speaker 03

Delray, have you been to Delray? It's the best. It's a little mini Fort Lauderdale, an hour from Fort Lauderdale. It's fantastic. People actually call it-

• 8:50Speaker 02

That's the most Long Island shit I've ever heard.

• 8:52Speaker 03

People call it fucking Sixth Borough.

• 8:54Speaker 02

  Glenny Bolus calls it-

• 8:56Speaker 03

I go out, I go to Delray. I love, I go over to one of the bars in Delray and it's all these people that have left, that have gotten the courage to leave and just all these old Italian guys.

• 9:03Speaker 02

That's very like, that's Tampa for Philly. There's a lot of, a lot of, a lot of Philly Jersey guys in Tampa.

• 9:07Speaker 03

Quite a great place, by the way. Tampa.

• 9:08Speaker 02

But, I, if I could pick it all, if my wife would go, I'd go. I love Florida.

• 9:12Speaker 03

I actually recently, so my three places I would move to New York, I would leave New York for that I've said, is Nashville, Delray Beach, and I've recently added St. Pete to the list.

• 9:20Speaker 02

Oh, St. Pete's really St. Pete's it. St. Pete is-

• 9:23H. Foley?

Kid likes a shrimp cocktail, I bet.

• 9:24Speaker 03

St. Pete's beautiful. Right on the water. Maybe, maybe get a friend with a boat, you know, on your own boat.

• 9:29Speaker 02

  Of course.

• 9:29Speaker 03

And then just great restaurants, great bars. Yeah, St. Pete's fucking awesome. I love St. Pete.

• 9:33Speaker 02

I've never heard of 29-year-old. You gotta find, you gotta find a guy with a boat. You don't wanna, you don't wanna own a boat.

• 9:37H. Foley?

  You're 55. You've already lived a whole lifetime.

• 9:40Speaker 03

Hey, one of my best friends has a boat on Long Island, then it's awesome.

• 9:43Speaker 02

  There you go.

• 9:43Speaker 03

All I gotta do is, "Hey pal, you wanna hop on today?" I don't gotta, I don't gotta upkeep it, I don't gotta do anything.

• 9:47H. Foley?

Find out Glenny's some, uh, young-looking, older retired guy with the whole life, moved down to Florida and then popped up-

• 9:53Speaker 02

He's in the Witness Protection Program.

• 9:55Speaker 03

I think at some point, though, Florida should be on my, on my list.

• 9:58Speaker 02

I, buddy, you're dressed for it. You got, I mean, come on.

• 10:00Speaker 03

Isn't this a Florida? This feels to me like almost like Mexico.

• 10:04Speaker 02

I'll give you that. Glenny did not like that.

• 10:07Speaker 03

Fucking bring me over here and embarrass me?

• 10:09Speaker 02

I'd be laughed out of Delray Beach wearing a shirt like this.

• 10:11Speaker 03

I'm only 25% Greek. This is a Nashville shirt. This is a Nashville, like, Scottsdale shirt. I would consider this a Florida shirt.

• 10:19Speaker 02

It ain't a Long Island shirt.

• 10:20H. Foley?

Scottsdale, I get, I don't get your Nashville, Florida connection. Where does that come from?

• 10:24Speaker 03

  Um-

• 10:24H. Foley?

It's like mint chocolate chip and strawberry. What are we doing here?

• 10:26Speaker 03

Well, Florida's, Florida's easy. I mean, we go to, so, for our work, Caleb lives in, um, he lives in Delray Beach, so- We go to Florida all the time, so a lot of our, um, a lot of our work there, and also a lot of people we interview, like a lot of rappers, a lot of celebrities live in Miami. So we're in Florida a lot. So, um, actually, I mean, the first time I went to Delray Beach, I, we had a video shoot with Riff Raff, I remember, and it was a Saturday in New York, it was a, it was a blizzard coming in the north, so I was like, oh, I guess I gotta go down early. So I went down early. I had a buddy that was staying in Delray. He said, "Oh, come hang out in Delray for a day." I said, "Why not?" And it was, I was like, what, I was like, what is this oasis on the beach? It's- There's a place called Sandbar, it's packed, everyone was watching football and then there's

• 11:04H. Foley?

  Drink specials are great.

• 11:05Speaker 03

  There's this little

• 11:06Speaker 02

Eli Manning went for nineteen for twenty-three.

• 11:09Speaker 03

This was in twenty twenty-one, it was probably Dan Jones. But um, there's a little area called the Ave, it's fucking shops, bars, restaurants, and it's right on the water. That way beaches, it's, it's an unbelievable place.

• 11:20Speaker 02

Sure, no, buddy, I'm right there with you.

• 11:22H. Foley?

I think the reason why you appreciate all that stuff is going back to Long Island. You know, people that don't know it, whatever, we have Timmy D in here, breaks down how good the food is, the way everything's organized, and we used to go out to uh, um, Norfolk a lot, on the other side. The, the farms, this, that, it really is a, you know, a mecca.

• 11:41Speaker 03

Yeah, I really cannot speak too much on that because I'd never go out there.

• 11:43H. Foley?

Minus the mullets and all that stuff.

• 11:45Speaker 03

Well, Suffolk County is, might as well be the south, Suffolk County's crazy.

• 11:48Speaker 02

Hey, they really draw a line in what county they're from out there.

• 11:51Speaker 03

Well, it's Nassau County or Suffolk County, Suffolk's kinda like the rednecky area, I would say. So those are where the Hamptons is, but I don't even consider the Hamptons, I mean, I've been to the Hamptons maybe less than five times in my life, I don't go to the Hamptons.

• 12:01Speaker 02

What's, what's a vacation like growing up, when you're growing up, where do you guys go?

• 12:03Speaker 03

We did a lot of road trips, actually.

• 12:05H. Foley?

  With everybody?

• 12:05Speaker 03

So it would be my mom, well, so my, my dad's side is where we hang, we hang out with them like every Sunday, I was with them yesterday all day. So we all do something, we did like a Disney trip, um, Vegas trip, which was fun, I did Vegas when I was like ten and twelve, I had a great time, actually really.

• 12:19Speaker 02

I did it at that age too.

• 12:20Speaker 03

It's honestly an oasis, I, I wrote a report in it in the fourth grade.

• 12:22H. Foley?

  For your dad's second marriage.

• 12:23Speaker 02

  No twenty-eight-year-old says oasis.

• 12:25Speaker 03

  I know.

• 12:26Speaker 02

No, no, no twenty-eight-year-old's been, you know what? Vegas, off strip, and oasis.

• 12:30H. Foley?

By the time he hits forty-five, you're gonna be unstoppable.

• 12:33Speaker 03

For a twelve, for a twelve-year-old, Vegas, it was one of the most fun times, I wrote a report on it, I had so much fun because we went from March Madness, so my dad and my uncles, they did not breathe fresh air, they stayed on the sports, literally the whole week. But then my mom and aunts took us around, we went to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay, we went to the Wax Museum at, at uh, Venetian. We went to see the pirates at Treasure Island.

• 12:52H. Foley?

  Who is this guy?

• 12:53Speaker 03

What's going on here? Did Fremont Street, went to the Stratosphere.

• 12:56Speaker 02

  At the Venetian.

• 12:58Speaker 03

  It's a, it's a really fun time for a twelve-year-old.

• 13:00Speaker 02

Down there shooting dice at the Bellagio.

• 13:02Speaker 03

  No, I didn't, I didn't get, I wish I did.

• 13:04H. Foley?

Turn the pants off the devil, I don't know what he's saying, but I wanna get, I wanna get that straight.

• 13:07Speaker 02

  You're a good, you're a good shit, dude.

• 13:09Speaker 03

But uh, in high school, we did a lot, me, so me and my parents, and then my mom's side, my aunt and my uncle, and they would let me bring a friend because I'm an only child. We would do uh, we did a lot of road trips.

• 13:18Speaker 02

  Okay, like high school.

• 13:19Speaker 03

So we did, just to see shit, I like, I like to see, I like to see stuff, I'm not really a fan of

• 13:23H. Foley?

We're picking up on that vibe.

• 13:24Speaker 03

I'm not a fan of going to, going to the Bahamas and just sitting on a beach.

• 13:26Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 13:27Speaker 03

Now I think I would, I've just never really done it. You'll do the beach, though? Of course. Hour, hour two, up to the boardwalk. Yeah. Find a nice restaurant, have an appetizer, relax. Exactly. I don't want to sit at the beach all day. That's not, that's not how I roll. But I love being in the water, too. The problem with the beach is, though, you go to the beach, no one wants to sit in the water all day. I want to sit in the water all day. So that's my problem with the beach. You want to be in, in the ocean? All day. Really?

• 13:47Speaker 02

Hey, I thought you were going to slap your frays.

• 13:49Speaker 03

I would, I would sit in the, if you got a nice water, like a Delray Beach, the water's nice and calm, maybe get a few, maybe get a few waves, I could sit in there for five hours. No shit? And, um... What, about waist-high?

• 13:58Speaker 02

Before I even start pruning, don't matter.

• 14:00Speaker 03

It's... What do you, what do you do, waist-high? On. I'm, I'm not the best, I'm not the best swimmer, so I'll maybe do bellybone. Maybe, maybe tits. I'll probably stop at tits. And you're hanging in there? Hanging. I never met anybody. Well, it, it kind of depends on, on what, what water is, though. Like, Delray Beach, the water's usually not too crazy. It's almost like a lake consistency. They giving you money? What's going on there? No, sorry, no, I'm just saying, it's almost like a lake consistency, but Long Island, like, Long Beach is where I go to...

• 14:21Speaker 02

This November at the Poles, we can change.

• 14:23Speaker 03

Is where I go to, uh, Long Beach, around here, and it's, sometimes it'll be really wavy. So, you can't stay in too long if it's wavy, but it's just fun to be refreshed. I just like water. But the road trips we would do... You said refreshed? Road trips we would do, we did one, uh, to Montreal, to Toronto, to see the Hockey Hall of Fame, then to Cooperstown to do Baseball Hall of Fame.

• 14:39Speaker 02

  Love that. Great trip.

• 14:40Speaker 03

Then one year, we did, um, I loved the Black, I'm still a huge Black Keys fan, great band. We did, we drove to DC, went to a baseball game there, went to see the Black Keys in North Carolina, then back. One year, we did...

• 14:51Speaker 02

You guys are doing, these are like ten, twelve hours.

• 14:53Speaker 03

With your family, you went to the Black Keys? Yeah, I was obsessed with the Black Keys in 2013. How old's your dad? Uh, sixty-two. But, um, so I took, then one year, we did like a big baseball one, so we did Pittsburgh, PNC Park, Wrigley Field, then on the way back, stopped in Cleveland, did Progressive Field, and then...

• 15:08Speaker 02

  Wow.

• 15:08Speaker 03

Yeah, so those were like fun high school trips I enjoyed.

• 15:10Speaker 02

  Nice.

• 15:11Speaker 03

Yeah, I, I like baseball, like, I just like baseball stadiums, school stadium.

• 15:14Speaker 02

What's, uh, what was the car you guys were doing this in?

• 15:16Speaker 03

I think we would rent one, if I'm not mistaken.

• 15:18Speaker 02

You would rent, like, a van or something?

• 15:19Speaker 03

Yeah, like, I'm an only child, so we have two cars, so I'm, we don't have, like, a van, so I think we would rent a car if I had to guess. That's smart. Or adventure to guess. Got the family in there. Yeah. Vacation with a friend? It was, it was nice. One time, I, one of my best friends, Taylor, he's, his family, they, they got some cash, and they, uh, and they had season tickets. So I brought him to, in 2013, I brought him to the Black Keys thing with us, in hopes he would bring me to the MLB All-Star Game and the Home Run Derby. This kid was moving and shaking back then. Worked out. Got to go to the Home Run Derby, I did a little under-the-table deal.

• 15:42Speaker 02

  Uh-huh.

• 15:42Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 15:43H. Foley?

What'd your dad do? What'd you remember dad?

• 15:44Speaker 03

Uh, so my dad is actually a janitor and my mom is a, uh, she, not, she's not a doctor. She runs a doctor's office. At a place in Forest Hills. They, so Monday, Wednesday they're in Forest Hills, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday they're in up Eastside. She just like runs the office kind of. She's the office manager.

• 16:00H. Foley?

What was the house growing up? What are we looking at?

• 16:02Speaker 03

  Normal.

• 16:03H. Foley?

  Single family home?

• 16:04Speaker 03

Single family home, Long Island, yeah.

• 16:05H. Foley?

  Three bedrooms?

• 16:07Speaker 03

  Um, two, two.

• 16:08H. Foley?

  Two?

• 16:08Speaker 03

My parents have a bedroom and I had a bedroom. Then I'm in my basement now, hang out in my basement. That's my little chill zone.

• 16:13H. Foley?

Wait, you're at your parents now?

• 16:14Speaker 03

  Oh, yeah.

• 16:15Speaker 02

Are you based out of there? Or do you not have a, that's, is that where you're getting mail? There?

• 16:20Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 16:21H. Foley?

  Where you getting mail?

• 16:21Speaker 02

Well, cause I talked to him, he's like, I'm in town for, you know, whatever, a couple of weeks or whatever.

• 16:26Speaker 03

  Well, we travel so much.

• 16:27Speaker 02

So you're just, you're, you're nomading it and then?

• 16:30Speaker 03

Pretty much. And then if I'm not nomading, I'll be at home. Yeah. Like a lot of my friends and everything's saying like, oh, when are you gonna move? But dude, right now, we've been, for the last three or four years, you've been doing Sunday Conversation. We travel constantly.

• 16:40Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah, of course.

• 16:40Speaker 03

I like to be home. When I'm, when I'm not traveling, I like to be home. It's nice. Hang out with my friends, see my family, relax. So I personally love it. I know when people are like, oh, you're fucking 29, about to be 29, live at home. Fuck you.

• 16:50H. Foley?

  What are they doing?

• 16:51Speaker 03

I don't pay rent. I, hey, see my friends. I have great food. It's fucking awesome.

• 16:55Speaker 02

They ain't got shirts like that, alright? Don't listen to them.

• 16:57Speaker 03

They, they, it's, they look down on you for living home. You save a lot of money. It's, it's good.

• 17:01Speaker 02

  Dude, you're, you're-

• 17:02H. Foley?

Living the rat race in Murray Hill. What are you nuts?

• 17:04Speaker 02

You're hanging out with riffraff. What are you doing?

• 17:06Speaker 03

Yeah, I, I don't, I have no reason, currently at this moment, no reason to leave.

• 17:09Speaker 02

  A hundred percent.

It's a Lucy, got a little pouch in it. Press it, get in there, extra flavor, hydration.

• 18:40Speaker 02

  Little bit of surprise.

• 18:41H. Foley?

  Hydration. Do you like that?

• 18:42Speaker 02

  Yeah, who don't like hydration?

• 18:44H. Foley?

  What are the nicotine...

• 18:47Speaker 02

  None that I know of.

• 18:48H. Foley?

  Hydration.

• 18:49Speaker 02

I'm a, listen, you know this, I'm a Lucy man through and through.

• 18:51H. Foley?

Come on, you got one right now.

• 18:54Speaker 02

  I do, I do, actually.

• 18:57Speaker 02

Guys, they got all new sorts of flavors. I'm an apple cider man myself.

• 19:01H. Foley?

  That's my apple cider.

• 19:02Speaker 02

As you know, big seasons, man, and the season's getting ready to change to the, to the fall, the autumn. Get in with the apple cider, baby!

• 19:40Speaker 03

  It's nice, man.

• 19:41Speaker 02

They'll stay at home till forty.

• 19:42Speaker 03

I'm pretty sure my mom's not the best cook, but I like to cook. So he's just not. No. She's, they, they, she's. Your dad? He's got a few good dishes. Hold on. Our barometer might be, he might be, his expectations of an Italian mother. No, he's got a few. He could have some grandmother in Sicily and watch some things his mom's trash. No, so even on Sunday dinners, my aunt cooks. So my mom, she's got two dishes up her sleeve. She's got a pasticcio, which is awesome. Pasticcio, of course.

• 20:04Speaker 02

Fantastic. Two dishes up her sleeve. Where this kid's from the fucking.

• 20:07Speaker 03

And then she does, she does do, like, I don't want to sound too basic, she does make great chicken collets. I do love her chicken collets. Those are her two. And then my dad.

• 20:12Speaker 02

Be ripped off of Long Island if you.

• 20:14Speaker 03

Buddy, so, yeah, no shit. And then my dad, for some reason, makes a fucking fantastic meatloaf, and he does a great lard of pork. Those are his two. And, uh, but yeah, like, my mom, Christmas Eve, she cooks for us Christmas Eve, because we all do my mom's side of the family, and I don't, I don't look forward to it. What do you mean? Respectfully to her, I don't, I don't, and she knows this, I tell her, she, I don't look forward to it. Like, my, my Christmas Eve, I like to drink a lot on Christmas Eve, because I'll be with my dad, so me and him will hang out, watch, usually there's a football game on now, then my mom's family will hang out in the dining room, but I just, I'll have, like, the mozzarella and, like, and the meat, and the sandwiches. I don't like to do the, she makes horrible pasta. What do you mean?

• 20:47Speaker 02

What do you drink? What is your go-to drink?

• 20:49Speaker 03

What do you like a cocktail?

• 20:50Speaker 02

  Christmas Eve?

• 20:51Speaker 03

Um, uh, Christmas Eve, I'll do, I really mostly drink, um, like, seltzers, and then I'll do some vodka, lug into it later, but I mean, I mean, the last three years, I've been introduced to martinis, and they absolutely changed my life.

• 21:01Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 21:01Speaker 03

What do you and your pop have on Christmas Eve together? I'll do, he likes to, he, he drinks what I drink. He mostly, mostly was a beer guy. I used to drink beer, now I don't anymore, because that was a lot of extra calories.

• 21:10Speaker 02

  Buddy, you ain't lying.

• 21:11Speaker 03

But, uh, so I retired from the beer game, but, I mean, that was a lot, a lot of calories.

• 21:15Speaker 02

Yeah, you're a guy who could put down a couple of beers.

• 21:17Speaker 03

When you, when I use, when I sit down and look up the calorie, the caloric intake of what I used to drink in a night.

• 21:22Speaker 02

  Thirty-eight hundred, yeah.

• 21:23Speaker 03

I used to drink, like, Bud heavies.

• 21:24Speaker 02

I'm, I still drink Bud heavies.

• 21:26Speaker 03

Yeah, and I would have a, a, a lot of them, and it's scary to think about. But, um, so now I'll drink. He walks in both words a little bit. So now I'll drink seltzers, and, so if I'm going out, me and my buddies are going out, I'll probably pregame with some seltzers, and then I will switch to vodka. Or we, uh, vodka, I could do, yeah, do vodka soda at the bar, I could do, then I'll, if I'm having a bad night, I'll maybe get some shots. And then sometimes you cross the line, and that's bad.

• 21:48Speaker 02

  You're doing shots of vodka?

• 21:49Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 21:50Speaker 02

  You're doing shots of vodka?

• 21:51Speaker 03

What? Are you a Russian hitman? Big time. I got, all my, all my.

• 21:53Speaker 02

  Like what, Grey Goose?

• 21:54Speaker 03

  I'll tee it to Tito's. I'm a Tito's guy.

• 21:56Speaker 02

  Warm, chilled?

• 21:57Speaker 03

I'll, I'll do either one, man. Yeah, I mean, if it's too warm, it's gross. I remember one time I was at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City.

• 22:04Speaker 02

  And my nose wide open.

• 22:05Speaker 03

I literally, I literally think they put it in the microwave. I still think about it to this day. That was disgusting. But I mean, chilled, regular, I could do room temperature easy. But really, my favorite drink now is, I love martinis.

• 22:14Speaker 02

  Dirty?

• 22:16Speaker 03

Yeah. Not too dirty, though. I hate when it's extra dirty.

• 22:19Speaker 02

  Filthy.

• 22:19Speaker 03

Tito's Dirty Martini, no vermouth is my order, and I got introduced to it about three years ago, and it's truly changed my life.

• 22:25Speaker 02

Do you know who turned you on to that?

• 22:26Speaker 03

Yeah, so this lovely, he makes great cooking videos at Barstool. Ever seen Chef Donnie's?

• 22:30Speaker 02

  Yeah, of course, yeah.

• 22:31Speaker 03

Chef Donnie, amazing. And we were on a, we were doing a thing called Storm Chasers where like, yeah, we were doing Storm Chasers, and we were in Memphis. And he was like, you gotta try a martini, because I would literally go to a restaurant, a nice restaurant, and order two shots of Tito's and a Diet Coke.

• 22:46Speaker 02

  At the table?

• 22:47Speaker 03

Yeah. And I would take the shot and chase it with a Diet Coke. Like a, like an animal, like a disgusting animal.

• 22:52H. Foley?

Hold on a second. That's the first 29-year-old guy thing you've said.

• 22:56Speaker 02

But that's even still rough for 29.

• 22:58H. Foley?

  Nah.

• 22:59Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 23:00H. Foley?

  Compared to everything else?

• 23:01Speaker 02

I know, but I'm just saying, shots at the table is like, that's a wild choice. You're sitting down with friends who are ordering martinis, you're going, let me get, let me get two shots of vodka and a DC to kick her?

• 23:11H. Foley?

  Heat it up!

• 23:12Speaker 03

I was, I was a disgusting animal. It was gross. And then introducing to martinis, and since then, man.

• 23:18Speaker 02

  A little more refined.

• 23:19Speaker 03

  I love them.

• 23:19Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 23:20H. Foley?

Anything else in that circle? A Mai Tai, this or that, special occasion?

• 23:23Speaker 03

Not really. I'm trying to think. Like, you know what I've actually had a few years ago for the first time, and I've been making it myself since? I was made up with my buddy one time in Miami for a drink, and he, look, he was having this beautiful, this beautiful fluorescent drink, and it was a nice pink drink. I said, hey, pal, what are you drinking? He goes, dude, I'm drinking a watermelon.

• 23:40Speaker 02

I says to him, I says, I says.

• 23:41Speaker 03

A fresh watermelon juice and vodka. I have it.

• 23:43Speaker 02

Oh. That'll, that'll, that'll kick your tits in, yeah.

• 23:46Speaker 03

So last summer, I bought a juicer. And now.

• 23:49Speaker 02

  Just to get fucked off.

• 23:50Speaker 03

Yeah, it's only to juice my own watermelon. I, I made a video last year of me making it on my Instagram, and it's. Fucking insane, like it you all you taste is watermelon, you could load it up with vodka, you only taste watermelon.

• 24:02H. Foley?

And it looks nice in the glass when you're sitting at the window.

• 24:04Speaker 03

It looks beaut- it looks beautiful, you could put you could take a little uh little triangle piece of watermelon and garnish it.

• 24:07Speaker 03

  A little garnish, yeah.

• 24:09H. Foley?

Will you do that at your at your parents' house?

• 24:10Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 24:11H. Foley?

My dad saw me making a mixed drink in his house, putting a watermelon garnish on it. Man, you are classy, this guy.

• 24:18Speaker 03

I, well, when I do my martinis, like I I love martinis, they've changed my life, they've they've changed, I got now that I'm getting older, I love dinner, I really do like dinners a little more. It that changes around thirty. Yeah, and and I look forward to martinis, like I was saying, we travel so much, like I really look forward to a good hotel hotel bar martini. Yeah, I'm right there with you. Yeah, we travel with good like six, seven people, I look forward to going down to the hotel, getting some martinis, hanging out, talking, it's it's what you look forward to when you travel. Mm-hmm.

• 24:44Speaker 03

This is, I feel like I'm talking to a more mature me right now, what the fuck's going on?

• 24:47H. Foley?

Um, I wanna go uh two things, the one thing, the room at your parents' house now in the basement, I would love to get a look at that.

• 24:54Speaker 03

  It's bad.

• 24:55H. Foley?

  What?

• 24:55Speaker 03

  It's bad.

• 24:56H. Foley?

See, I don't, you strike me as like a neat person, organized, laid out.

• 25:00Speaker 03

I'm not saying it's gross, it's just my childhood basement, so actually, a few months ago, Caleb stayed with me for two days. And he said he was, we were having fun, and he like, he woke up the next morning, he's like, where am I? Anybody else got a headache? I see like red and I see red and blue, I see red and blue walls, I see Eli Manning on the wall, where am I, he was like, oh fuck, I'm in Glenn's basement, like, I got Mets stuff everywhere, like I'm, it's my sixteen year old room.

• 25:22H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 25:23Speaker 03

  So there's.

• 25:23H. Foley?

  He's in a sleeping bag.

• 25:24Speaker 03

There's red and blue walls, there's Rangers and Giants stuff everywhere.

• 25:26Speaker 03

Is that for Rangers, the red and blue? Ranger, Giant, Rangers and Giants, so it's, everything's red and green, red and blue, actually have, you know what's a hilarious story that I have in my basement? So there's this, so there's this uh shit, so this girl from Long Island, this girl, she's on OnlyFans right now, so she used to have a partner called Mish Witz. I don't even wanna say it, she's, cause she's different, can you actually like blur out the name? So there's this girl, Mish Witz. So this girl Jackie and Michelle were two girls that were um making like photos of themselves. They would print out posters of themselves like in lingerie and stuff. And we knew them from growing up. So as a joke, sorry, I knew Jackie, I didn't know Michelle. So as a joke one night, my buddy got drunk and bought me a poster of Jackie, a signed poster of Jackie, who I've known since I was in eighth grade.

• 26:10Speaker 03

Wind up is, poster comes, they ran out of Jackie posters. They sent me a Michelle poster, signed poster from this girl. I have it up in my room as a, I have it up in my basement as a joke, but I had never met this girl in my life. Two years ago, it's uh Knicks playoffs, I'm watching the Knicks playoffs in Delaware Beach at Sandbar.

• 26:27H. Foley?

  Where else?

• 26:28Speaker 02

  Who walks in? No one?

• 26:30Speaker 03

My buddy hits me, he's like, dude, that's, that's Michelle, that's the girl you have the poster of in your basement. And she's sitting right next to us getting a drink, like I have to tell this girl I have a poster of her in my basement for the last eight years. So I hit her.

• 26:40Speaker 02

Really is the six borough down there.

• 26:42Speaker 03

So I hit her and I'm like, dude, this is gonna sound so weird. I've had a poster of you in my basement for the last eight years.

• 26:47Speaker 02

That's not weird at all, Glenn.

• 26:48Speaker 03

What the? She's like, you bought one of those?

• 26:52Speaker 02

  You were the guy.

• 26:53Speaker 03

I'm sorry, but I did. I actually bought the other one, but they gave me yours.

• 26:56H. Foley?

Can I interest you in a?

• 26:57Speaker 03

But it's still down there. Yeah. So it's just stuff like that. Like I got, I mean, I got some cool stuff down there. I got some like Henrik Lundqvist signed stuff. Like when we did Drake on our show, we got a signed Drake Raptors jersey.

• 27:05Speaker 02

  Yeah, that's awesome.

• 27:06Speaker 03

So I got some cool stuff down there.

• 27:07H. Foley?

How long has it been your room?

• 27:09Speaker 02

  Since you were sixteen.

• 27:10H. Foley?

Since you were sixteen, I thought it was your basement at sixteen.

• 27:13Speaker 03

It's my, basically my basement room. Now it's my room, but they do laundry down there. How dare they?

• 27:17H. Foley?

  Yeah, you kinda like.

• 27:18Speaker 03

We got a freezer down there. I got all my Hawaiian shirts on a rack. What's in the freezer in the basement? Steaks. Yeah, I just put like six steaks in there the other day, actually.

• 27:27Speaker 02

  From where?

• 27:27H. Foley?

  You did.

• 27:28Speaker 03

Stew Leonard's? You guys ever go to Stew Leonard's?

• 27:30Speaker 02

I've never been to a Stew Leonard's, but I know good things.

• 27:32Speaker 03

You guys would love it, man.

• 27:33Speaker 02

So, man, this guy knows us.

• 27:35H. Foley?

  He's awesome.

• 27:36Speaker 03

  Stew Leonard's is...

• 27:37Speaker 02

Do you ever have your birthday at Stew Leonard's?

• 27:39Speaker 03

If they offered birthdays, I would do it.

• 27:40Speaker 02

  Don't they?

• 27:41Speaker 03

Yeah, I believe they do. Do they? Do they?

• 27:42Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Maybe not on Long Island, but I know like up in the...

• 27:45H. Foley?

What, is that, is that one on Long Island too?

• 27:47Speaker 03

Yeah. There's one fifteen minutes from me. I go every Wednesday. It's my little Wednesday therapy.

• 27:50Speaker 02

The ones in like Connecticut on up.

• 27:52H. Foley?

  Really?

• 27:52Speaker 03

It's cause it's, there's, it's a grocery store, but it's not even a grocery store. It's an experience. It's, they make it a maze. You just walk through a maze. You walk in, they got the sweets immediately. You gotta walk through that quickly, have the bagels walk through that quickly. Yeah, walk right past it cause it's real good stuff.

• 28:07Speaker 02

  Not today, lord.

• 28:08H. Foley?

By the way, did you hear him say he goes every Wednesday? It's his little weekly meditation? Who the fuck says that?

• 28:12Speaker 03

This past Wednesday, I did my two hour boardwalk walk, then drove to Stew's, got my steaks and drove home.

• 28:17Speaker 02

Uh, well, okay, where were you food shopping growing up?

• 28:19Speaker 03

King Colin. King Colin. Yeah, classic stop. I mean, I didn't really do the food shopping. Yeah, yeah, of course. That was Claudia's job. If you said you did, I wouldn't be surprised. No, that was Claudia's job, but it's, and it's also not. I'm going to get an order in. Yeah, so it's, but it's fun. Like, you walk through, it's like a maze. They're, they got the vegetable area you walk through, then the dairy, then the meat. You see food, it's a cool place. What, uh, what was your first car growing up? I never had, I've never owned a car. You've never owned a car? You drive? Can you drive? I can drive. I just drive my parents' cars. I have my license. Yeah. But yeah, I've never owned a car. Fucking idiot, he drives his parents' car. Insurance scam. Why would I have a car? Nothing's in my name in case the other foot comes down. Down in the basement, at college. I don't need it. Okay. All right. Yeah. I mean, I'm sorry, I've never owned a car. If I did have a car, I mean, it wouldn't be that exciting, trust me. Something sensible. Yeah, I'm not a flashy guy. Sure. What are your parents driving?

• 29:03Speaker 03

Hyundai's. My, my aunt, I think, works, she like does advertising for Hyundai, so we all have Hyundai's. So we have always had, my dad's always had a Sonata, my mom's always had an Elantra, just one different make of each. Yeah. That's perfect. Okay. Being a good student growing up. Had to be. Good student. Had to be. Um. Charming the pants off them teachers, I'll tell you that. So, eight, I'm trying to think, elementary school, I think I was a normal student, nothing crazy, and then high school, I remember I was about as average as it comes, like, a few years I was an honor roll, a few years I wasn't, but honor roll froze at 85, so basically you needed to be. Be. That's not bad. That's not average. So, that, that's not average? No, it's way above. I don't think an 85 is way above average. What are you talking about? Maybe for... Compared to everybody else?

• 29:41Speaker 03

Well, actually, you know, I went to a Catholic high school on Long Island, and there was three tracks to get into, so you would either be in honors, A1 or A2. Hey, I was in A1, that was the average. Dead middle. Honors was the smart, and then A2 was the dumb kids. They would, they didn't even let them take a language. Mm-hmm. They legit, we, like, we would have to pick between Latin, French, or Spanish. The A2 kids, they would only, they would only make them do sign language, they had to learn sign language. Oh, man. Yeah. But, uh, so I was in the average, I was in the average area, and then I was 85 still. But there was a few, like, I definitely wasn't smart. Like, I cheated a lot in, uh, physics. Got to. Sharp guy. I was a good Scantron reader, I was very good at the Scantron. Side eye, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And then I did do one really bad cheat. Counting cards.

• 30:19Speaker 03

I did one really bad cheat, junior year, Spanish. I legit, we had, we were Blazers, so I, they gave us probably like 10 possible essays, and, uh, like, what it was gonna be, the essay topics, and I went on Google Translate and wrote all 10 in my pocket, and I tried to look at them as I was doing the test, and I did do that. That was the worst cheating I ever did. And you got it, you get away with it? I got, I got done with it, yeah. There you go. I'm trying to think of the worst, I don't know if I've really gotten caught during school. Did you take your SATs? Yeah. What'd you get? Do you remember? It wasn't good.

• 30:46Speaker 02

  No.

• 30:46Speaker 03

I'm very, I think it was maybe 1150?

• 30:49H. Foley?

  Out of 16?

• 30:50Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 30:51Speaker 03

Again, that's. Well, it was 20, for me it was 24, but it was the, there was the writing part too.

• 30:55Speaker 02

You couldn't have gotten 11 out of 24. Does that make, that's, that's low.

• 30:57Speaker 03

No, because, no, that does sound low. But like, I, I mean, I got denied from Penn State.

• 31:02Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 31:02H. Foley?

  What?

• 31:03Speaker 03

I think bad. I got into Penn State Altoona.

• 31:05Speaker 02

  A prejudice against Italians.

• 31:06Speaker 03

  I got, um.

• 31:07Speaker 02

  You didn't go to Altoona?

• 31:08Speaker 03

  No, I didn't go there.

• 31:09Speaker 02

  Where'd you go?

• 31:09Speaker 03

I got waitlisted from Towson. I went to U Albany.

• 31:12Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 31:12Speaker 03

So, so, I'm, next perfect example. I went to U Albany. I think I got denied from SUNY Cortland. That was the better one. And then I got into SUNY Oneonta too, I think. So I wasn't the smartest, but I wasn't the dumbest. But there was a few, a few, um, category, well, actually, I was bad at math. So when I went to U Albany, went there for three semesters, then I transferred to, uh, Baruch right here.

• 31:31Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 31:31Speaker 03

On 23rd and Lex. And I had to take remedial math when I transferred because I was so bad at math at Albany. So I had to do a whole semester in the shitty building down the street from Baruch for no credit.

• 31:42H. Foley?

Damn. What, what degree were you going for?

• 31:44Speaker 03

  I didn't, I never even had, didn't even know. I didn't have a.

• 31:46H. Foley?

What, you take, you take math in college? You take math in college?

• 31:49Speaker 03

  No, it was.

• 31:49H. Foley?

  Really?

• 31:50Speaker 02

What, what the hell kind of question is that?

• 31:52Speaker 03

It was so basic, it was remedial. You had to take it to even get the credits to get a major. So I didn't have a major. I never had a major. And then I dropped out.

• 31:58Speaker 02

What'd you graduate? You didn't graduate?

• 31:59Speaker 03

  No.

• 32:00Speaker 02

What, how many, I can't get a fucking read on this guy. What year did?

• 32:04H. Foley?

Why, why do you say it like that?

• 32:06Speaker 03

  What do you mean?

• 32:06H. Foley?

Did you just, do you, you want to go back and finish your degree?

• 32:09Speaker 03

No, why would I? What's the point of doing that?

• 32:11H. Foley?

  Told you about the cutlets.

• 32:12Speaker 03

  What I told.

• 32:12Speaker 02

  I'm already in the basement.

• 32:14Speaker 03

I mean, what I told my mom was, when I was thinking about dropping out, I was like, hey, most people go to college to get their dream job. I was working at Barstool. I had my dream job.

• 32:20H. Foley?

  There you go.

• 32:21Speaker 03

Why am I staying? Why am I staying? What's the point of my staying here?

• 32:23Speaker 02

Let's get, you, listen, you might not be the smartest, very wise, very wise guy.

• 32:27Speaker 03

I always say, I'm not the most book smart. I'm pretty street smart.

• 32:29H. Foley?

  Very.

• 32:30Speaker 03

I feel like a lot of people think I'm pretty dumb. I'm pretty fucking street smart. You see the guy eating the ice cream. I'm actually pretty fucking street smart. I'm pretty savvy. But um, but um, yeah, no friggin', yeah, I just think it was very, it was stupid to stay. Why, why stay? I also needed, I would have had like to do extra time to get even a major because I was so behind because of the remedial stuff. I was like, why not just fucking drop out?

• 32:49H. Foley?

What would it have been? If you weren't doing this, what do you think you?

• 32:52Speaker 02

Sports, not like sports marketing or something?

• 32:54Speaker 03

I truly don't know, like I would think, I would have said that, but I don't know if I really, because at the time I was such a bigger sports fan than I am now. But um, I don't know, I don't know if I ever could have seen myself doing like an office job. I think I would have had to like work in a deli or something.

• 33:06H. Foley?

  If you went completely?

• 33:07Speaker 02

They're the only two possibilities for a, for a guy from Long Island.

• 33:10Speaker 03

  A deli.

• 33:11Speaker 02

Either work in a deli or any office managing uh...

• 33:14Speaker 03

  Well, it's such an interesting...

• 33:14H. Foley?

Goalie for the ranges? Or slice and braise.

• 33:17Speaker 03

It's such an interesting thing to think about now, like me and my, like I, my group chat have 10 best friends, there's 11 of us, I'm the 11th guy, and we've been in this group chat every day for 15 years. And I don't know what it is, yeah. And everyone's a fucking accountant, like everyone's an accountant. And they kind of like look down, not that I'm saying they look down, but it seems like my friends, they look down on normal, good jobs, like they would look down on a fucking bartender or something like that, like bartender's a good job, you make a lot of money.

• 33:38Speaker 02

  Of course.

• 33:39Speaker 03

So I think I could have done maybe something like that, but I don't know if I would...

• 33:41Speaker 02

  You'd be a great bartender.

• 33:42Speaker 03

I don't know if I would have been cut out to be an accountant. I don't think I could sit at the desk and do it.

• 33:46Speaker 02

Nah nah, it's not you Glenn.

• 33:47H. Foley?

You're both way wrong, alright, if it went real left, you'd be owning businesses, whether it's a mattress, a this or whatever, and you would build an empire.

• 33:54Speaker 02

Crazy Glenn's appliance store or something like that?

• 33:56H. Foley?

I think I could do a good commercial. Not even that. You, you would own a chain of something in Long Island, millionaire, you'd have the house down, down the beach, that, no way you're sitting at all.

• 34:06Speaker 03

I mean, that sounds nice, I just, yeah, I don't think I could have done the office thing, that doesn't, that, I don't think that's me, and um, yeah.

• 34:11H. Foley?

Not in that shirt, what are you crazy?

• 34:13Speaker 03

I'm thinking of other businesses, like I think I mean, I've been saying recently I want to do when I'm older and gray, or hopefully I have enough money to do it, I would love to uh, own like a floating tiki bar in Florida, I think that would be fun, I get to be the bartender on that.

• 34:25Speaker 02

Like, what do you mean floating?

• 34:25H. Foley?

What, you're gonna own it and be the bartender?

• 34:27Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 34:28Speaker 02

Like on like a, is it like a, like a bar?

• 34:29Speaker 03

You've never seen a floating tiki bar?

• 34:30Speaker 02

  I don't think I know.

• 34:31Speaker 03

They got a bunch of them in the channel in Tampa Bay.

• 34:33Speaker 02

Uh, we saw one going past of the Jersey Shore.

• 34:36Speaker 03

  Yeah, remember?

• 34:36Speaker 02

  It's a boat.

• 34:37Speaker 03

It's like, it's a, yeah, it's a boat that has a tiki bar on it, and you just sit in the middle and you talk to people and you hand out drinks. Yeah, I think that would be fun to do.

• 34:43Speaker 02

I pictured more of like, I pictured more of like an Alcatraz type of thing.

• 34:46Speaker 03

Yeah, I don't know if that would be the most lucrative business idea, so maybe if I have enough money to do it when I'm older, I would love to do that.

• 34:50Speaker 02

Sure. I don't know, I mean, there's a lot of them. They gotta be turning a profit. Get a bridesmaid's party or something down there.

• 34:56H. Foley?

Sure. Tying the pants off of them. I wanted to ask about high school. A lot of, um, extracurriculars, a lot of clubs, a lot of this.

• 35:03Speaker 03

  Ooh, no.

• 35:04Speaker 02

  Really?

• 35:05Speaker 03

So you know what's actually fucked up to this day? So freshman year, I got cut from football. I never, I had never played football before. And we were, all my friends were trying out, so he said we ought to try out. But my class was about 525 graduating people. So people got cut freshman year.

• 35:17H. Foley?

That's a big Catholic high school.

• 35:19Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 35:19Speaker 02

  Oh, yeah.

• 35:20Speaker 03

People got cut freshman year. So I got fucking first cuts. Like, I couldn't, it's not like I could, I always had great hands. I really did. But it's not like I could be a fucking receiver.

• 35:27Speaker 02

  He's had great hands.

• 35:28Speaker 03

So I had to be a lineman. And I got cut for first cuts. So then I said to myself, what else could I do? I, uh, tried to be, I tried out for the shot put team. Got the job. Why am I saying got the job? I made the team.

• 35:40Speaker 02

  You're an old soul.

• 35:42H. Foley?

  Let me start Monday.

• 35:43Speaker 02

  What are the benefits?

• 35:44Speaker 03

So I made the team on shot put. And the shot put was, it was like Ben was bears. It was like five of us, a bunch of random weird kids. And it was pretty fun. We wake up, Saturday, we'd have to wake up at 7 a.m., go to the meets in the van, and go to ICAN Stadium. And it was fun. It was a cool little camaraderie. But I wasn't very good. I think my best finish was third out of fourth, one of the meets. And then we, but we would joke around a lot. I remember the first, our only coach we had, I think he was this guy, Tom. The first thing he said to us when he came in, he wasn't even, didn't work at the school. He was just, it was part-time. He came in and said, just so you know, you guys are not gonna have fun on this team if you don't know how to laugh. Like, if you don't know how to joke around. And then next year, Seth, my ear, he cut me and told me I joked around too much.

• 36:20Speaker 02

  What?

• 36:22Speaker 03

  So I got cut.

• 36:22Speaker 02

That same bagging son of a bitch.

• 36:24H. Foley?

You're probably stealing all the stud, you're burying them.

• 36:26Speaker 03

So I fucking, so yeah, he cut me. And then that was, that was it.

• 36:28Speaker 02

I'm kind of the star around here, Glenn.

• 36:30Speaker 03

Back me up. That was, um, that was it for me with extracurriculars, really. I didn't, I don't think I did any after-school.

• 36:35H. Foley?

I don't know, just when you said the thing about your friends, and I figured out like a big friend group. I do get like a, not high school musical, but in my head, looking at that generation, is like everybody was doing stuff.

• 36:45Speaker 03

There was about 10 of us. A lot of them were on football. Some of my buddies played baseball, basketball, but I did not, I did not partake in any of those. I got cut from football, like I said, and obviously I can't play baseball, basketball.

• 36:53Speaker 02

Uh, you still link up with those 10 guys?

• 36:56Speaker 03

  They're my best friends.

• 36:56Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. How about, how often are you, how often are you linking up?

• 36:59H. Foley?

Are they all among, or are they in the city?

• 37:01Speaker 03

  Um, so one's in Tampa.

• 37:02Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 37:02Speaker 03

Two are in Tampa, actually. So two in Tampa, one's in the city. One, few of them are married, one's in Chicago, one is far out on Long Island. So there's about five of us still in my vicinity, like a 20 minute vicinity.

• 37:12Speaker 02

  Gotcha, really?

• 37:13Speaker 03

One of them is married, he's my best friend, I was the best man at his wedding. I'll see him once, maybe once every few weeks, I'm also traveling a lot too.

• 37:18Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 37:19Speaker 03

Then I have my two best buds that, they just moved into an apartment five minutes from me.

• 37:22Speaker 02

  Together?

• 37:23Speaker 03

Yeah, so I go there all the time, so I see them a lot.

• 37:25Speaker 02

  The boys.

• 37:26Speaker 03

  Yeah, the fellows.

• 37:27Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 37:27Speaker 03

And then we'll travel, we'll travel a lot together, so like, what if I'm not traveling with Caleb? And I got free time, like, hey, why not, let's go on a trip somewhere.

• 37:33Speaker 02

  Let's go to Duluth Beach.

• 37:34Speaker 03

This weekend, we're doing, we're going to Nashville this weekend, so.

• 37:36Speaker 02

  Love it, okay.

• 37:37H. Foley?

So you are the only one of the, of the squad that's, that's still in the basement?

• 37:42Speaker 03

I actually was thinking about this the other day, I think I am the last, the last link.

• 37:45H. Foley?

  But you're killing it.

• 37:46Speaker 03

I think I am the last one that's still home, which is kinda scary, but.

• 37:49H. Foley?

  What are you talking about?

• 37:49Speaker 03

  Whatever dudes.

• 37:50H. Foley?

Dude, you put it perfectly, you're killing it, the meatloaf, the cutlets.

• 37:54Speaker 02

Yeah, I don't view it as a bad, I view it as more of like, a lifestyle choice, or like, a, a consequence to your current position.

• 38:00H. Foley?

Heckin' when I say I wanna move home with Patty, you, you say that's bad.

• 38:02Speaker 02

  Cause you're a loser. This guy's, this guy's killing it. He's 29, you're 49.

• 38:07H. Foley?

  Sharp.

• 38:08Speaker 02

  There's a little difference.

• 38:09Speaker 03

But that's what I said, literally, I just, cause.

• 38:11Speaker 02

  Drinking beers with his dad.

• 38:12Speaker 03

We're so close to Barstool, so I just stopped at Barstool on the way here, I saw my buddy, I just say hi to everybody, I saw my buddy Danny, who's security there, and we were talking, great guy.

• 38:19Speaker 02

Great guy, dude, 28 year olds don't talk like that.

• 38:22Speaker 03

Staten Island, great guy, so we're talking to him, and he's like.

• 38:24Speaker 02

  Don't hold that against him.

• 38:26Speaker 03

I haven't seen him, I haven't seen him since three years.

• 38:28H. Foley?

  12% Greek, no big deal.

• 38:29Speaker 03

So we were talking about, uh, just updates in life, he's like, oh, you think you're gonna move out soon, and I was like, dude, there's no, there's no, I don't see a point, like, until this travel slows down, what's the fucking point?

• 38:37Speaker 02

I know, I understand, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 38:38Speaker 03

  Truly, what's the point?

• 38:39Speaker 02

I know, I agree, I don't, yeah, I, I don't view it as a bad thing, I view it as like, you're running and gunning so much. We live a very similar lifestyle where it's, you know, you, you're all over the place at all times, and sometimes it can be like, you gotta go tomorrow type.

• 38:50Speaker 03

Yeah, I mean, assuming you guys are traveling all the time as well.

• 38:52Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's a lot.

• 38:53Speaker 03

And the travel life, it's, it's, it's fun though, I love it.

• 38:56Speaker 02

  I would, I put on 50 pounds traveling, it's a good time.

• 38:59H. Foley?

I would, I would move back in a heartbeat. To, let's go, yeah. Kent, you know about Thrive?

• 39:03Speaker 02

Ooh, I'm a Thrive market man.

• 39:05H. Foley?

Have you been over by the kitchen lately?

• 39:06Speaker 02

  Listen.

• 39:07H. Foley?

  Yikes.

• 39:08Speaker 02

They've sent us two boxes, it's like a feeding frenzy when those things come in.

• 39:12H. Foley?

We're talking real good stuff, we're, we're talking high quality stuff packaged together, right? Lot of it leaning towards the, you know, it could be, uh, no, alright, scroll around, no grain cookies.

• 39:25Speaker 02

  Mm-hmm.

• 39:26H. Foley?

What do you think they're gonna taste like?

• 39:28Speaker 02

Dirt. I know I'm wrong because I had them.

• 39:31H. Foley?

I went through the whole bag.

• 39:32Speaker 02

I don't know what brand it is. They're sending us some kind of Pringles that are like, they're like jalapeno. I don't know what they are, but listen, I'm mulching them things. It's fantastic.

• 39:42H. Foley?

Gang, you got school coming up? You got the kids lunches? When you send them back with, you know, with the usual, uh, what is it called? Ibuprofen, whatever they're putting in there. Get the good stuff. Throw it in a lunchbox.

• 40:42Speaker 03

Do you guys have any good travel tips for like trying to be the remotely normal humans while you're traveling?

• 40:46H. Foley?

  Don't be 400 pounds.

• 40:47Speaker 02

Yeah. Don't hang out with a 400 pound guy.

• 40:50H. Foley?

  I get real elbow-y.

• 40:52Speaker 02

Uh, I mean, like what? To try to stay healthy?

• 40:54Speaker 03

Not even healthy, just to try to stay in the right mindset because if one of you're traveling so much, it could just fucking fuck with your head. Like what's, what's a tip you have?

• 41:01H. Foley?

I think you probably travel more hectic than we do.

• 41:04Speaker 03

And you said there's like six of you guys?

• 41:06Speaker 02

  Yeah, there's six of us.

• 41:07Speaker 03

  Nice.

• 41:07Speaker 02

Well, one, uh, we've tried to take a little bit of control back from, uh, kind of all of the, so like we'll, we'll fly to a place and then go city to city to city to city type thing. And what we did was we invested in a very nice conversion van that we have meet us at whatever city we're going to. Our boy Ryan D drives out and picks us up at the airport.

• 41:31H. Foley?

  Head of operations.

• 41:31Speaker 02

Then we're in that. That then takes us from city to city. So we have our own seats. We're, it's our, it's our home away from home in there. We got a TV. We can do pods in there. Everybody has their own assigned. It's very, we know what we're getting. We're driving with a friend. That's our with the boys. The vibes are that much better than. We'd rather drive for six hours together, laughing, bullshitting in there than a 90-minute flight. Because the 90-minute flight, everybody's all scattered, you're just, it's tense.

• 42:01H. Foley?

You're up in the air, the ankles are swollen up, you got a couple of bunny berries in you. You guys know what you're friggin' doing.

• 42:04Speaker 02

  We're, we're, we're learning.

• 42:06H. Foley?

I was gonna say, you're asking us, we should be asking you. But do you like catcher's mitt leather? Does that, does that something that grabs you? What do you mean? Catcher's mitt leather, so we got the backseats.

• 42:14Speaker 02

  Nice.

• 42:14H. Foley?

  Really?

• 42:15Speaker 02

  Real nice, everything's embroidered.

• 42:16Speaker 03

So one of my questions is the, you just said, you just said Ryan.

• 42:19Speaker 02

Who's the fucking host of this show?

• 42:20Speaker 03

Well, sorry, you just said Ryan D is the, he picks you guys up, is he the driver too, full-time?

• 42:24Speaker 02

  He's the dri-.

• 42:24Speaker 03

Or do you guys have to argue about who's gonna drive?

• 42:26Speaker 02

  No, he drives full-time.

• 42:27Speaker 03

  Nice man.

• 42:27Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 42:28H. Foley?

But he did it for a long time. White knuckling it behind the wheel.

• 42:31Speaker 02

We would drive, yeah, we, it's, it was.

• 42:33H. Foley?

Four hours from one show to the other, not very pleasant.

• 42:37Speaker 03

  I like a dri- I love driving.

• 42:38Speaker 02

  I love driving as well.

• 42:39Speaker 03

I can see that. A good road trip is, gets me going.

• 42:42Speaker 02

If you were in the, right, you're driving, there's a guy riding shotgun with you, so now, listen, this is old, I'd be, I'd have the whole team.

• 42:50H. Foley?

I think I know where this is going.

• 42:50Speaker 02

  You do, I'm driving, right?

• 42:52Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 42:52Speaker 02

Taking the responsibility, I got five, six souls on board that I'm in charge of.

• 42:55H. Foley?

I think he's gonna surprise you on this.

• 42:58Speaker 03

Are you gonna say who gets the music?

• 42:59Speaker 02

No, if there's a guy riding shotgun, does he have to be awake?

• 43:04H. Foley?

Come on, what are you, nuts?

• 43:06Speaker 03

That's tough, cuz, I mean, he, so he should.

• 43:09Speaker 02

  You're three, you're three hours into a six-hour drive.

• 43:11Speaker 03

My answer to you is that he should be awake, but I understand if he's not, because I've been in that position too, me and my buddy.

• 43:17H. Foley?

We've gone out of a nice lunch, we got a turkey club in here.

• 43:20Speaker 03

Me and my buddy, me and my buddy did, uh, drive to Florida a few times, and, and I, as he, he drove the whole way, and I know as the passenger, I should be awake at all times.

• 43:28Speaker 02

Is that just a two-man trip?

• 43:29Speaker 03

  It's a two-man trip.

• 43:29Speaker 02

  I would say.

• 43:30Speaker 03

And I know I should be awake at all times, so he doesn't fall asleep.

• 43:32H. Foley?

  That's a tough look.

• 43:33Speaker 03

And there are some times when the sun's going up and you're 17 hours in, you, you knock.

• 43:37H. Foley?

Wake me up when we get to a Waffle House.

• 43:39Speaker 03

You knock, and it, and it happens. So, you know what? People, people say that all the time, you know you should, let's say you're tired one night and you wanna cancel on plans, you know you should go.

• 43:47Speaker 02

  Mm-hmm.

• 43:47Speaker 03

  But you stay home.

• 43:48Speaker 02

  Sure.

• 43:48Speaker 03

So, you should be awake, but not everyone does.

• 43:51Speaker 02

  Just funny ball logic, man.

• 43:53H. Foley?

Unless you need some type of navigation, I always looked at it like, I drive, you go ahead and take a nap.

• 43:58Speaker 02

Yeah, but if, no, if you want to sleep, then you go in the back and let someone else check in with me.

• 44:03Speaker 03

It was just the two of them.

• 44:05Speaker 02

No, that, he's allowed to sleep then, I feel, because it's like, hey, man, we're gonna switch back over at some point, I might drive.

• 44:10Speaker 03

Did you drive at all, or he drove the whole way? No, my buddy Johnny, he's, he's been, I'm not gonna say a pro driver, because he's not a professional driver, but he's just always been the driver.

• 44:17Speaker 02

As close as you can get.

• 44:18Speaker 03

Since we were in high school. That'd be him. He's always, always a driver. We'd go to get lunch in Brooklyn somewhere, we'd go to the city. Wait, when? When would you go to get lunch in Brooklyn? We'd go all the, we'd go all the time. This, we, we'd like to just do shit. We'll go find a place in the city. We used to go, when we were in high school, we would just go to like, Smoni Gardens all the time. Place in Corona that I love. We were just, like, if we're not doing anything on a Friday night, we would just go to the ci- drive to the city and get food. This might be hard to peg down, but how old were you when you made your first reservation? Because I feel like it was probably at, at, at a, like, young age. At thirteen.

• 44:47Speaker 02

Calls up Gallagher's, "Hey, it's me, Glenny."

• 44:49Speaker 03

I don't know, because when we were really doing, when we were, we were in high school, doing these, like, fun, like, little trips, when we would drive an hour to go somewhere, we thought it was the most fun thing ever. It would be, we wouldn't really, we wouldn't really go to restaurants, we would just go to cheap eats places, kind of, like a barbe- we used to love this place, John Brown's in Long Island City, Barbecue Place. We used to go to L and B Smoni Gardens all the time. There was a place that's closed now. It was called, um, Chickies or something in the Lower East Side, and it was, uh, fried chicken sandwiches. So we'd go to places like that, we'd go to reservation places.

• 45:15Speaker 02

  Gotcha.

• 45:16Speaker 03

But that was always a fun thing. Sure. If we're not partying one night, why not? Like, I would, I remember one night, man, it was so cool. We drove to the city one night, just to drive around, because there's no- nothing else to do, so we drove to the city, did the hour to the city, and I was actually the driver that night. Probably two or three of us in the, in the car. He's sharp, isn't he? He's a sharp guy.

• 45:31Speaker 02

He's recounting, he's recounting like he's a cop, like, giving testimony.

• 45:34Speaker 03

But in a very tourism kind of way. I remember we were right outside Radio City.

• 45:41Speaker 02

Wait till you hear this, you're gonna applaud it.

• 45:43Speaker 03

And I had just, I had just gotten my license, so I was a new driver, and I don't know when to go, stop, I see, yo, like, when do I stop? I pulled, it was Saturday night, too, at 11:00 PM.

• 45:52Speaker 02

  Jam, city's bumpin'.

• 45:54Speaker 03

So, I'm in the middle of the crosswalk, as everyone's crossing by, and this pretty good-looking lady, probably, I don't know, when I was 16, I don't know what she was, probably 25, 30 now. Yeah, you can never tell. Walks by, I'm in the middle of the crosswalk by myself in the car, just pulls up her dress and sits her ass on the foot of the car.

• 46:10Speaker 02

  Ah.

• 46:11Speaker 03

And I was like, wow, this.

• 46:11Speaker 02

That's, man, only in New York, huh?

• 46:14Speaker 03

Not night made, year made. We'll be right back. Sixty or that made my night, to this day, made my night.

• 46:18Speaker 02

  Sure.

• 46:19Speaker 03

Dude, New York. You want to hear something awesome that happened to me?

• 46:22Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 46:22Speaker 03

Within like the last year. It coincides with this, goes me and my buddies getting food.

• 46:27Speaker 02

Coincides, the word choice for a 28 year old Long Island kid.

• 46:30Speaker 03

So this is probably about a year ago, I landed JFK, I was gone for a few, like a week or so, whatever it was for work. I landed JFK, my, you ever been to Wo Hop in Chinatown?

• 46:38Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 46:38Speaker 03

So me and my friends have heard how good it was, we've never, I've never gone.

• 46:41Speaker 02

Is this as of recent, you've never been to Wo Hop?

• 46:43Speaker 03

Yeah, a year ago. That's crazy. So we'd never had really gone, we said, let's try Wo Hop, they picked me up at JFK, we got a car full of us, Johnny's driving, my three buddies are in the backseat. We're driving to Wo Hop, we're on the Manhattan Bridge. As one is. We're on the Manhattan Bridge, traffic's dead, dead stop traffic, so we're going slow, we're going slow. As we're at the foot of the Manhattan Bridge into Manhattan, look to my right, there's a building going, right here to my right, big windows.

• 47:07Speaker 03

You know where this is going, and it was awesome. So this beautiful lady walks out, she's in her, she's in her robe, and she's looking this way to her TV, the bridge is over here to the left. She legitimately, I kid you not, second floor, eye level with her, turns to the left, takes her robe off, like she's in a movie, like it's Animal House. Like this, and then starts oiling herself up in front of everybody, and I'm hitting Johnny, I'm hitting my buddies, being like, guys, are you, are you, are you passing?

• 47:30Speaker 02

  Trying to scare her away?

• 47:31Speaker 03

And then she drops, drops the robe, starts oiling up, and it was, it was boobs everywhere, it was unbelievable. To see that in person, and then like to the car to the, to the right of us, there's a dad, literally shagging his daughter's eyes, looking at us, giving us a thumbs up. Everybody was seeing it, has to be her thing, she's like a voyeur, I guess, or something.

• 47:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 47:47Speaker 03

No, you're the voyeur. And I'm just being like, dude, this is, I've been looking at windows my whole life, for this. For this, I've been looking at windows every time I walk by a building to see a boob, and I finally did. It was, I could say to this day, my 28 years of life, that may have been the happiest I've ever been, in a specific 10 second span.

• 48:03Speaker 02

I know, I, I understand. I saw, I once saw a girl, I was with my father-in-law, it was on the corner of First and First. Right, we were at a bar, that bar 1 and 1 right there, outside, nice spring day, having some beers, and there was this woman, just drunk, having a good time, partying, she had her top off, and... Cannons and she's spinning her shirt around her head going, "Take your pictures, take your picture." And we were, "Ah."

• 48:27Speaker 03

  Oh, fuck.

• 48:27H. Foley?

Not the classy princess that you saw.

• 48:29Speaker 03

  Oh, my god.

• 48:30Speaker 02

  Nice girl was.

• 48:30Speaker 03

I have, I have an even worse one now that we've mentioned that. Oh, my god, I forgot this even happened.

• 48:34H. Foley?

He's starting to show little cracks.

• 48:37H. Foley?

  He's still a little peeping.

• 48:37Speaker 03

This one, this one's almost like not even horny. It's not even fun. But, so, so my, um, my aunt is from Cuba. She's off the boat from Cuba. She's married into my family. And her, uh, her dad passed away. Probably, this is probably 10, 15 years ago now, but they were also in Corona. That's how she met my mom. So we're at his funeral in Corona at Saint Leo's Church. This has to be maybe 2009, I would guess, off the top of my head. And we go to the funeral. I'm sitting there with my mom, or maybe 10 rows back. And they're in the middle of the funeral mess and I start to hear like clopping, like. And I'm like, "What the fuck is..." I turn around. There is a fully naked woman walking down the aisle in church in the middle of this funeral. Fully naked. Honestly, kinda.

• 49:16Speaker 02

  Kinda hot.

• 49:17Speaker 03

  Not hot, but.

• 49:18Speaker 02

  Stacked.

• 49:19Speaker 03

  Pretty, pretty nice boobs.

• 49:20H. Foley?

How old did you say she was?

• 49:21Speaker 03

She was probably about 50. And she ran up on her, like, went crazy. The altar boy had to take his, like, cloak off and wrap her up. The cops came. It was.

• 49:29H. Foley?

Damn. She know the deceased? Or she was just crazy?

• 49:32Speaker 03

I think, I think she was a crazy lady. And she was yelling nonsense, but that was, that was one of the weird, it was.

• 49:37Speaker 02

  Damn.

• 49:37Speaker 03

It was kinda sad. It was kinda sad because as a younger guy, I'm like, "Oh, wow, I would love to enjoy these."

• 49:42Speaker 02

  But I can't.

• 49:42Speaker 03

But the scenario was real good versus bad. Yeah.

• 49:47H. Foley?

When you go to a restaurant, you get the fried calamari and they give you an aioli dip instead of marinara? Ruins it. I'm with you.

• 49:54Speaker 03

  Disagree.

• 49:55Speaker 02

Whoa, bad take by a big man.

• 49:57H. Foley?

Really? Look at you. All right.

• 49:58Speaker 03

Oh, dude, I'm a, I'm an aioli fiend.

• 50:00H. Foley?

  You are.

• 50:00Speaker 03

Fiend. I was doing for a while. I should just keep bringing it back. On TikTok, I was just doing Chipotle aioli reviews for a while. I love Chipotle aioli's.

• 50:07H. Foley?

Just in the calamari category, uh, you like to eat that traditional, other than the sauce?

• 50:11Speaker 03

I also don't like calamari. I'm out on it.

• 50:14H. Foley?

  Anybody in Long Island notice?

• 50:15Speaker 03

Uh, uh, my friends, whenever we go to dinner, they, they love it. I'm like, hey, you guys enjoy, I'm, I'm gonna back.

• 50:19Speaker 02

I don't disagree with that. I've, I've, I've recently turned a corner on it. We've had it. It's the same everywhere. It's okay. Let's get a little crazier. Let's take a bigger swing with the.

• 50:30Speaker 03

It's not that I don't like it. It's just, it's just there for me.

• 50:32H. Foley?

You think it's pedestrian a little bit?

• 50:33Speaker 03

Yes, it's very pedestrian. It's just there. But like you said, like, everyone's had it. I do think a bad one is horrible.

• 50:38Speaker 02

  I don't disagree.

• 50:38Speaker 03

And a great one is really good. If it's a nice crisp on it. I love them. They do Rhode Island style with the cherry peppers in it.

• 50:44H. Foley?

I was gonna ask you that.

• 50:45Speaker 03

That's, that's a good, that, that will get me in there.

• 50:48H. Foley?

With an aioli. That would come with an aioli.

• 50:49Speaker 03

Yeah, cherry peppers are one of my most underrated things in the world. I love cherry peppers. And green chilies. Have you guys ever had those? Best topping for a burger.

• 50:58Speaker 02

  Sure. I understand that.

• 51:00H. Foley?

  Very sophisticated. I like it.

• 51:02Speaker 02

  Huh.

• 51:03Speaker 03

Um, I gotta stop talking about food. Every podcast I do, it just becomes.

• 51:06Speaker 02

  No, that's.

• 51:06H. Foley?

What are we talking about? It says a lot. What do you mean?

• 51:09Speaker 02

What kind of mayo growing up? And now?

• 51:10Speaker 03

  Hellmann's.

• 51:11Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 51:11Speaker 03

But people love Dukes. That's, that's the sophisticated. Dukes are the QP, the Japanese mayo. People love that.

• 51:16H. Foley?

It's, sometimes that's too much for me.

• 51:18Speaker 03

  It is.

• 51:18H. Foley?

And something in my head, I'm like, this isn't an American sandwich.

• 51:21Speaker 03

I also recently ordered QP mayo off, uh, cause during, during.

• 51:24Speaker 02

  The dark web?

• 51:24Speaker 03

It was a few years. It was, I order sauces on Amazon way too often. But it was a few years ago. I was watching, uh, guys grocery games was my COVID show and they were always using QP mayo on that. I said, I gotta try this.

• 51:33Speaker 02

Yeah, get your hand, get spit some eyes on it.

• 51:35Speaker 03

Ordered it off Amazon with the nutritional facts. I said to myself, I can't have this. I think it's like 200 calories.

• 51:40H. Foley?

A lot of egg yolk in that bad boy.

• 51:42Speaker 03

I said, this is, this, we, we need to put this away before we get too out of hand.

• 51:45Speaker 02

  Mm-hmm.

• 51:46H. Foley?

I recently took a chance on Mike's, the one that Jason Alexander's pushing.

• 51:49Speaker 02

  Everyone's pushing that.

• 51:50H. Foley?

  All right.

• 51:50Speaker 03

Is that the, they do the mustard too? It's like a cool design.

• 51:53H. Foley?

  Yes.

• 51:53Speaker 03

It looks almost like a caricature of a city.

• 51:55H. Foley?

Almost like a Bob's Burger kinda.

• 51:56Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 51:57H. Foley?

  Yeah. Yeah, it's fantastic.

• 51:58Speaker 03

I don't know. I like to stick to my Hellmann's. But I love mayo. Mayo's too good.

• 52:02H. Foley?

  It's a gentleman.

• 52:03Speaker 02

You gotta, uh, what's your favorite pizza place in the city? Not favorite, just one you or whatever. What do you like?

• 52:08Speaker 03

Um, I mean, I don't really get too much pizza in the city. I will say, cause Dave always says that this was his favorite. He always loved John's at Leaker, so they would always send pies to Barstool. And I always thought that, I always thought that was one of my, they would always send it. And I always thought that was one of my favorites because I, I do think this is a fair thing about pizza. I had tried DeFarre in Brooklyn back when the old, when Dom was still alive. And it was, uh, I don't like pizza fresh out of the oven. It's almost too hot. And I loved getting John's at Leaker to Barstool delivered. It was that perfect temperature. I really liked John's at Leaker. I mean, people look down on it now. Joe's, I like Joe's a lot.

• 52:41Speaker 02

Joe's is a great knock around slice.

• 52:42Speaker 03

But I, I haven't had any of the really big ones. I haven't had scars. I haven't had the industry. I really love, like I've mentioned before, L and B Simone Gardens. It's not a, it's not a regular triangle slice, but it's so good.

• 52:52H. Foley?

  Simone guy, Simone guy?

• 52:54Speaker 03

I don't really like the ice, just the, the pizza. Have you ever had the pizza?

• 52:57H. Foley?

  No, never there.

• 52:58Speaker 03

It's, it's a, it's basically a Sicilian pie, but the cheese on the bottom, the sauce is on the top. Life changing. Guys like, guys like me and you, we could put down six.

• 53:05H. Foley?

  Love it.

• 53:05Speaker 03

It's like, it's like clouds. You're eating clouds.

• 53:07Speaker 02

  I've never heard that before.

• 53:09Speaker 03

Oh, when I, when I was at my biggest, I would put down a good.

• 53:12Speaker 02

  No, referred to as clouds.

• 53:13H. Foley?

  Yeah. You're an old soul.

• 53:15Speaker 03

If you had one, they're clouds. I'm telling you.

• 53:16H. Foley?

You're an old soul, but I think a man gets to a certain point where the Sicilians start, start to become.

• 53:22Speaker 02

You need a little, you need a little, little change up. Yeah.

• 53:24H. Foley?

  Big, big fan of it.

• 53:26Speaker 03

I'm honestly not the biggest pizza person in the world though. I don't go crazy for pizza. I, I mean, I don't really know what I go crazy for.

• 53:32Speaker 02

How do you get your steak cooked?

• 53:33Speaker 03

  Medium rare.

• 53:34Speaker 02

How do you cook it at home?

• 53:35Speaker 03

Medium, I'll try to do, even rare. I like rare.

• 53:38Speaker 02

  What are you cooking on?

• 53:39Speaker 03

Um, I've been doing a lot. So I've recently got a cast iron. I got a cast iron like a year ago. I recently got a stainless steel pan. I've been doing reverse searing a lot, which I, which I think it works perfectly.

• 53:48Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 53:49Speaker 03

So I put it in the oven for like eight minutes at 390. Pop it out, have the hot pan go and just throw it on there for like 45 seconds each side. And then it comes out pretty thin. I got, I will say I cook a pretty good steak.

• 53:59H. Foley?

How does that work in the house? It's your mom's kitchen. You got your own stuff. What's going on in there?

• 54:02Speaker 03

My mom, she, I always tell her, she knows this, she has a horrible palate, a horrendous palate. So she doesn't even like, she eats like, she eats like chicken salad. She makes chicken salad for the week and eats chicken salad. She doesn't eat, she's not a food person. She just, um.

• 54:15H. Foley?

Is that the way it is in the house? She'll, she'll, you guys sit down and have dinner when you're home?

• 54:18Speaker 03

Yeah, usually. But she'll have like, she'll make her own shit. She's, yeah, she's not very, uh, sat like. Few days ago, for example, I made some steak and I said, Claudia, have some of this. You call your mom Claudia? Sometimes. No, okay. Sometimes. With a wing? As a joke. Yeah, okay. Yeah, I call Claudia something. She's on my phone as Claude. Okay, that's fun.

• 54:36H. Foley?

Funny. So you'll cook sometimes for everybody?

• 54:39Speaker 03

Yeah, all the time, mostly. If I'm doing it. Like, I'll usually handle my dad. He usually eats what I eat. There's some steak tips out there if you need it. But he complains about fucking chicken too. And I mostly try to do chicken. Because I've been trying to shed a couple LBs. So I've been doing all like ground chicken, chicken thigh, chicken breasts.

• 54:53H. Foley?

You got it at the grill? You got the grill?

• 54:55Speaker 03

I've only done it once this summer.

• 54:56H. Foley?

  Hmm.

• 54:57Speaker 03

Actually, I plan to have a video posting tonight of steak on the grill. I made steak on the grill for the first time last week.

• 55:02H. Foley?

  Was it filet?

• 55:03Speaker 03

Uh, it was two ribeyes and a strip.

• 55:04H. Foley?

  I ruined it.

• 55:05Speaker 03

  Kinda nailed it.

• 55:06H. Foley?

Ruined a bunch of filets on the grill.

• 55:07Speaker 03

Foley on the grill sounds scary.

• 55:09H. Foley?

  I fucked it up.

• 55:09Speaker 03

The whole grill, the whole grill is, it's a very intimidating.

• 55:12H. Foley?

  Yeah.

• 55:12Speaker 03

And you need a lot of time behind to get okay with it. And then people, when you see like really skilled people, they're like, oh, this one's on the fire, then we're putting it off the fire, you know, that's it over here. I watch like Michael Simon videos and he's doing that. It's like a magician. I can't handle that. Yeah. The grill, the grill is very scary to me, but I mean, I love it. The cooking's fun.

• 55:28H. Foley?

You said something earlier about the pizza, which, which, which, uh, got me thinking about something. Is there anything that you prefer the next day cold?

• 55:36Speaker 03

I love, I love cold pizza. Yeah. But you know what actually I've been fucking loving cold, like really loving cold? I mentioned earlier the place I've been going, I did my walk on the beach, and then I go to this place, Cherry Blossom in Long Beach. It's a poke place. And it's so, it's one of my favorite meals I've been having. It's unbelievable, like the, the spice, there's a little spice in there with chili oil they put on, makes spicy conny with it. Then they add in this marinated tuna, it like tones everything down. But then, I fucking bring half of it home and I have it the next day, and not even have it the next day cold. I'll just open it a few times a day, take a bite, put it away, and just, that'll be my little, if I'm ever hungry, I'll just pick it up, have a bite, put it away.

• 56:09H. Foley?

Screaming cold sushi is awesome, yeah.

• 56:11Speaker 03

Is, yeah, basically, I mean, poke is basically deconstruktive sushi.

• 56:14H. Foley?

  Mm-hmm.

• 56:14Speaker 03

  It's. Divine.

• 56:16H. Foley?

Were you digging into a meatloaf or anything like that? Will you, whatever leftovers you got, you take leftovers home from the restaurant?

• 56:21Speaker 03

Not, there's not many leftovers to bring.

• 56:23Speaker 02

  Yeah, respect.

• 56:24Speaker 03

I don't really, I'm, I don't know, I mean, different, it's different restaurant, like, the, my favorite restaurant is this place Luigi's in New Hyde Park, so I'll bring home their pasta a lot, because they put a big fucking.

• 56:32H. Foley?

Is that something you would have cold the next day, later that night?

• 56:35Speaker 03

Yeah, I've been trying to not have, I've been trying to not have too many full leftover meals, and once again with the pasta. I'll just bring it out, have a few bites, put it back, and that'll be my satisfaction throughout the day. And yeah.

• 56:45Speaker 02

Drink milk with dinner growing up?

• 56:47Speaker 03

  No, was that a thing?

• 56:48Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 56:48Speaker 03

  Really?

• 56:49Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 56:49H. Foley?

Not for a classy kid like you.

• 56:50Speaker 03

I'm not really a big milk person, I mean, growing up, I was probably banging out like fucking coke with dinner.

• 56:55Speaker 02

  Sure.

• 56:55Speaker 03

Me and my mom were fighting about that yesterday, she was, she was trying to blame, I was trying to blame her, the reason I was a big guy growing up, but she's like, no, it was you, you're always hungry, I was, dude, you're the one who's supposed to tell me no.

• 57:03Speaker 02

  Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 57:03H. Foley?

Man, that's addicting to see your kid, you're always hungry.

• 57:06Speaker 03

No, she'll give it to me sometimes, we, because I, I was, did a Theo's podcast recently, we were talking about it, and I said, my mom used to fucking supersize me, she wouldn't, they would let me get supersized when I was a kid.

• 57:15Speaker 02

  That's crazy.

• 57:15H. Foley?

Holy shit. It's a two liter coke.

• 57:17Speaker 03

So you know what it actually was, though, I think it was my dad, because my mom always worked late on Mondays, so I think I was sad that my mom wasn't home, and he would be like, oh, let's go to McDonald's, and then I would order supersized. Like, dude, you can't let me fucking, you can't let a child supersize this.

• 57:28Speaker 02

I remember doing that one time, my mom going, who the fuck, like, what are you nuts? It's like six pounds of fries.

• 57:34H. Foley?

  Love it.

• 57:35Speaker 03

The fries are the worst part.

• 57:36Speaker 02

I know, they're the best part, but.

• 57:38Speaker 03

It would, it would, this is my fries.

• 57:40Speaker 02

  That's what they get.

• 57:40H. Foley?

  Fries are the worst part.

• 57:42Speaker 03

Super, the fact that that was even a thing.

• 57:44Speaker 02

This is wild, do they still do it? Can you still supersize? The government stepped in, it was like this.

• 57:49Speaker 03

Morgan Spurlock, he passed away, right? R I P.

• 57:52H. Foley?

Wendy's was talking about bringing it back to biggie size.

• 57:57Speaker 03

  Wow.

• 57:58H. Foley?

Which was, didn't compare to the supersize, supersize.

• 58:01Speaker 03

Well, a few years ago, McDonald's, they did the, they brought back a Grand Mac, I remember that, and I had, I had a few Grand Macs, they were good.

• 58:07H. Foley?

I had, I had the chicken one.

• 58:08Speaker 03

Really? I was, I thought it was gross. You like it? Me and you may have different, differing food tastes.

• 58:13H. Foley?

  Which is crazy.

• 58:14Speaker 03

Yeah, what hypes you up? Like, what's your death row meal?

• 58:18H. Foley?

Uh, I don't know if I can say that, but McDonald's will be on there.

• 58:20Speaker 03

  Really?

• 58:21H. Foley?

Yeah, that would be your top fast food?

• 58:22Speaker 03

Uh, fast foods, like. This is a whole nother argument.

• 58:25H. Foley?

Kevin, go check out the car or something like that.

• 58:27Speaker 03

Fast food, I would say like of the big three McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's.

• 58:30Speaker 02

  The big three.

• 58:31Speaker 03

  McDonald's.

• 58:32Speaker 02

  It's not a college conference.

• 58:33Speaker 03

But uh, my personal, I mean, my personal favorite, honestly, my death row food would probably be Outback. Outback Steakhouse.

• 58:39Speaker 02

  Really, man?

• 58:40Speaker 03

I am fucking obsessed with. I've actually been telling my friends that when I, so I'm close to losing 300, 100 pounds from my top weight ever been. When I finally hit that 100, I want to bring everybody to Outback for a celebratory meal.

• 58:51H. Foley?

But how is your sophisticated palate blending into that corporate chain?

• 58:55Speaker 02

  He's a Long Island dirtbag.

• 58:56H. Foley?

  That's what I was, that's what I was saying.

• 58:57Speaker 03

Yeah, I feel like you guys are thinking I'm sophisticated.

• 58:59Speaker 02

No, you're just an old, no, no, no, he's just an old soul.

• 59:02H. Foley?

I do. You're very well spoken, very articulate. But um. But I see what you're saying.

• 59:07Speaker 03

Growing, I mean, growing up, Outback was my, like, out. Whenever people ask me if I could do an Australian accent, you know what I have to say to them? I could only do it in the Outback, in the Outback, um, reservation.

• 59:18Speaker 02

  Oh, okay.

• 59:18Speaker 03

Actually, that's your answer for when I did my first reservation. I was probably 10 years old calling Outback.

• 59:22Speaker 02

  Holy shit.

• 59:23Speaker 03

And I would do it, it's the Outback Steakhouse in Island Park. So I would go, "Good day, mate. Thanks for calling the Outback Steakhouse in Island Park. For caller head seating, press one. For curbside to go, press two."

• 59:32H. Foley?

  If that's you, Glenny.

• 59:32Speaker 02

  It's me, Glenny.

• 59:34Speaker 03

Yeah, and that's the only way I could do an Australian accent. I can't say anything else in Australian, but I could do that because I called so much growing up.

• 59:38Speaker 02

  So many times.

• 59:39Speaker 03

And I went to Outback a lot, but I mean, it's so good.

• 59:41H. Foley?

You go out with the boys now, four or five of you, you're at dinner, whatever. How you splitting up a check?

• 59:46Speaker 03

Uh, millions of just go straight down. I like to go straight down.

• 59:49H. Foley?

  Split it.

• 59:49Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 59:50H. Foley?

  All the way around.

• 59:50Speaker 03

Yeah, cause I mean, I, I think we're, everyone has good jobs and they could all, we could all swing it and, and especially like there, maybe there'll be some nights where I'm not drinking. Very rarely, but there'll be nights where other guys aren't drinking. And I think it's, what am I gonna fucking be like?

• 1:00:02Speaker 02

It'll wash itself out, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:00:04Speaker 03

Let me take off to, when you're as good as friends as we are, they've been friends for 15 years. Like I, I do, I do think it all washes out.

• 1:00:09Speaker 02

  Sure, no, I agree completely.

• 1:00:10Speaker 03

Very, very rare that me and my friends Venmo request anything from each other.

• 1:00:13Speaker 02

  Of course, yeah.

• 1:00:14Speaker 03

  I, I think that's.

• 1:00:15H. Foley?

  That's a classic New York.

• 1:00:16Speaker 03

And that's also a way to lose friends because people, some people are a little weird about money.

• 1:00:19H. Foley?

You Venmo request me for 8.75? What are we doing?

• 1:00:21Speaker 02

Especially like before you leave the restaurant or whatever. It's like, oh, you know, hey, you get it, I'll Venmo you. And then it's like, hey, you owe me 13.50. You're like, buddy, I'm not even, I'm not even in my car yet.

• 1:00:30Speaker 03

We're very much a, uh, goes back around, comes around, top of career, which is, which is the correct way to be.

• 1:00:35Speaker 02

  You have to be. Longevity.

• 1:00:36Speaker 03

It makes you sad when people aren't.

• 1:00:38Speaker 02

Yeah, but I think those people find each other and it's like then that's just like, you're that way with money, so naturally your friends are that way with money and the people that are a little more ticky tack with it.

• 1:00:48Speaker 03

Yeah, at least 20% and then they may all go more, but like actually like a year, two years ago, I was in Charleston, South Carolina for the first time in my life.

• 1:00:54H. Foley?

  Love it.

• 1:00:55Speaker 03

Great place. And I was actually with my best, the guy I was best man for, I was with his wife and her other friend from high school. And her three friends, she lives in Charleston. So it was me and five chicks that I don't know, like I'm not talking to any of them. Two of them are my just friend girlfriends from high school.

• 1:01:09H. Foley?

  Oh no.

• 1:01:09Speaker 03

And I'm like, how the fuck do I handle this?

• 1:01:13H. Foley?

  Wait, how long, wait.

• 1:01:14Speaker 03

  It was two years ago.

• 1:01:15H. Foley?

  So you're famous.

• 1:01:16Speaker 03

So I'm like, as a dude, do I have to just pay for this whole bill? I don't even know, I don't even know the other three girls.

• 1:01:21H. Foley?

  Who cares?

• 1:01:22Speaker 03

One of them is married, it was.

• 1:01:23H. Foley?

  So what?

• 1:01:24Speaker 03

So I hit, the girl's name is Sarah, I was like, Sarah, what do I do, what do I do here? How do we split this thing up? And she was, I think we all just put our cards in, thank God.

• 1:01:31Speaker 02

  I think that's fine.

• 1:01:31Speaker 03

Cause women, women are silly. Women are scary when it comes to.

• 1:01:34Speaker 02

Fully, it's not the 1940s anymore.

• 1:01:37Speaker 03

I mean, if it's women I'm interested in, I pay for everything.

• 1:01:40Speaker 02

  A woman I'm interested in.

• 1:01:42Speaker 03

  But.

• 1:01:42H. Foley?

  Bringing the family over.

• 1:01:44Speaker 03

But it's absolutely not where it's girls I don't know, I don't even know, I didn't even meet the girls.

• 1:01:47Speaker 02

  Married broads.

• 1:01:49Speaker 03

I didn't, they didn't, three of them I didn't know and then two of them are my friends from high school.

• 1:01:51Speaker 02

If I don't know somebody and it's like, I'm not jumping on a grenade, they wouldn't do it for you.

• 1:01:55Speaker 03

  I will say.

• 1:01:56Speaker 02

I'm not doing it out of some like.

• 1:01:57H. Foley?

It's not what it's about. Let me see this. Uh, you're married.

• 1:02:01Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:02:02H. Foley?

  You're out with.

• 1:02:03Speaker 02

  Congratulations.

• 1:02:04H. Foley?

You're, you're at a restaurant on a Sunday after a little event with four ladies that your wife works with. What are you doing there?

• 1:02:13Speaker 03

  Oh, that.

• 1:02:15H. Foley?

And you're you. You do well.

• 1:02:17Speaker 03

  Whoa.

• 1:02:18H. Foley?

  You're not, that's an automatic.

• 1:02:19Speaker 03

I think you gotta pay for it, yeah, you gotta pay for it.

• 1:02:21H. Foley?

Alright. That's all I wanted to.

• 1:02:22Speaker 03

I want to clarify that I was gonna say that before you said, before you insisted that I do it, because I would have said that. I mean, what are you gonna do? What are you gonna say? We have to split this up, we're gonna split it two ways this way and you guys take the other third, the other three haves? No, so you would, I guess you would have to do that. But once again, one of them is your wife, so. Kind of the same thing, like I was saying, like I was just saying that dinner I was at.

• 1:02:40H. Foley?

  At Charleston.

• 1:02:41Speaker 03

Let's say it was me and my best friend's wife, who's also one of my good friends, and our other friend Sarah. If it was just us three, I probably would have paid for that.

• 1:02:47Speaker 02

You'd jump on that, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:02:48Speaker 03

But three random girls I've never met before.

• 1:02:50Speaker 02

  Three broads. I ain't never met them. I ain't talking, I ain't interested.

• 1:02:53Speaker 03

Yeah, I never met, I don't know anything about them.

• 1:02:56H. Foley?

Sensible. Always been somewhat sensible with cash?

• 1:02:59Speaker 03

Yeah, I think I'm pretty good with cash.

• 1:03:00Speaker 02

Yeah, any stupid purchase once you started making money, not even like insane, not like a yacht or anything, but just something you're like, man, I shouldn't have bought that.

• 1:03:07H. Foley?

  Insanity life size?

• 1:03:08Speaker 02

Yeah, that jersey or something. That was, that was a mistake.

• 1:03:11Speaker 03

I don't, I don't really buy too many things. I'll, I'll maybe get like a, something that's a few hundred bucks. A few weeks ago, I was up at the beach with my buddies and my buddy's, uh, brother-in-law had this awesome chair. And I said, dude, where'd you get that chair from? I bought that chair. Oh, during COVID.

• 1:03:25H. Foley?

  Beach chair?

• 1:03:26Speaker 03

Yeah, it was awesome. Called, you should, you should, called Parkit. It's fantastic. I just got it delivered the other day. I charted it out. Unbelievable. Per, perfect.

• 1:03:32H. Foley?

  Where, in the backyard?

• 1:03:33Speaker 03

Yeah, I just tried it because it's elevated. There's a cooler on the bottom of it. There's a cup holder and it holds our build very well.

• 1:03:39H. Foley?

  I like it.

• 1:03:40Speaker 03

And, um, I mean, during COVID, I, because I was so bored, I bought an inflatable hot tub.

• 1:03:45H. Foley?

For a pool at the house or no?

• 1:03:47Speaker 03

I wish, man. Like I said.

• 1:03:48Speaker 02

  Be floating all day long.

• 1:03:49Speaker 03

I, I, we had a, we had a little blow up pool growing up. I wish I had a pool. I mean, that, that's probably my end goal. I would just have a nice.

• 1:03:54H. Foley?

  Get a pool.

• 1:03:55Speaker 03

Just a nice pool. Because I see all, all my friends are all these rich kids and they have all these sick pools. They don't, they don't even go in them. It's disgusting. It's disgusting to see.

• 1:04:02H. Foley?

It's a very Long Island thing to say. Look over the neighbors. They're not even in it.

• 1:04:05Speaker 03

Don't go in it. They never go in it. All my friends have had great pools. They never go in it. They have these beautiful pools and I would die for a pool.

• 1:04:10H. Foley?

  Are they all in-ground?

• 1:04:11Speaker 03

  Yeah.

• 1:04:12H. Foley?

So my theory, he's gonna push back on this. They're not that great. They get real warm in the, in the summer. Nice, above-ground, cool water. They be in it every day.

• 1:04:20Speaker 03

Sir, all pools matter. I, I'll take any pool. I will take any pool, but eventually when I'm older, I would like.

• 1:04:26H. Foley?

Stand in the ocean for four hours.

• 1:04:27Speaker 03

But I'll have, like, my aunt has a, that I'm, I'm at every Sunday. They have an above-ground pool. I go in every Sunday. It's beautiful. I, I just love being in the water. It's a great thing. But anyway, yeah, so.

• 1:04:35Speaker 02

Do you have a bathing suit or are you wearing like basketballs?

• 1:04:37H. Foley?

  What do you do?

• 1:04:37Speaker 03

Big time bathing suit. But yeah, it sucks.

• 1:04:39Speaker 02

  Big time bathing suit.

• 1:04:40Speaker 03

I would love to have a pool. What, what were we talking about before that? Pools?

• 1:04:43H. Foley?

  I can't remember.

• 1:04:44Speaker 02

  Hot tub.

• 1:04:44H. Foley?

  Hot tub, yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 1:04:46Speaker 03

So I got the hot tubs during COVID.

• 1:04:47Speaker 02

Set that up at the parents' house.

• 1:04:48Speaker 03

  Yeah, it was awesome.

• 1:04:49H. Foley?

  Is that still there?

• 1:04:50Speaker 03

No. No, I mean, it was like four years ago, but it, it, it, there was, there was a hole in it. We couldn't find the hole. We would like, we bought stuff on Amazon to like try to.

• 1:04:58Speaker 02

  The dye or whatever.

• 1:04:59Speaker 03

Shove it down to find where the hole, we couldn't find the hole. So we had to throw it away. It was worth it. It was worth it, man. Those, those hot tubs like 700 bucks.

• 1:05:04Speaker 02

  Yeah, they're cheap.

• 1:05:05Speaker 03

I s- I got it every night during COVID.

• 1:05:06H. Foley?

  Any pets growing up?

• 1:05:08Speaker 03

We've always had rottweilers. So actually, actually, I take that back. Took a left turn. When I was, uh, till I was about four, we had a blind Akita. Okay.

• 1:05:15Speaker 02

  Big dogs.

• 1:05:16Speaker 03

Japanese guy? Are they, are there Japanese? But they were blind, she, she was a blind Akita. And then when I was in first grade for Christmas, Santa got me a, take those down. Santa got me a, um, rottweiler. Her name was Kiara. We had her from when I was in first grade till senior year in high school. Okay. And then we had Madison about two years later. She's another great rottweiler. She was amazing. She was literally like a puppy, like a poodle in a rottweiler's body. And she passed away last year. She had bone cancer, R I P. Already here? And then literally, three weeks ago, I bought my parents a new, a new rottweiler. What? You got a fucking puppy at the house with a meatloaf in the cutlets? Yeah. What are you nuts? She's, she's a fucking menace. She's hell. I, I was up all night because of her last night. She, Yeah, it's brutal.

• 1:05:58Speaker 03

She's cries every night, but she, I mean, she's in a great house. We treated her well, but she's fucking, she's a menace. I wanna move in there. She's a menace. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But we just got her and we named her Shay. So she's, Shay is our new current rottweiler. She's like, I think she was born May 17th. Wow. Who's, what does that come from? Your dad rottweiler, he trained them or what? No, so actually my uncle owned a candy store in Corona in the nineties and they wanted to get a rottweiler, or a dog just to guard the candy store. So he, At night? Yeah. Damn.

• 1:06:24Speaker 03

So his buddy had a, a long haired rottweiler, which I think like one out of a thousand when they're big, long haired rottweilers. Scary. And he got her named Akimbo. So she was, so he got her and he loved her and then we, so then we got rottweilers. We just loved rottweiler shit. I love rottweilers. Bringing to a candy store is a rottweiler. That's like a junkyard. Yeah, she was, no, she would live at the candy store. She didn't even go home, my uncle. She would live in the backyard of the candy store. Christ. Old Snickers wrappers. She was a big frigging, uh, yeah, she died, uh, October 13th. No, October 15th, 2005. Diabetes, I assume. She was old. Candy store. I don't know why, I don't know why I remember old. Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. You know why? Cause she actually passed away the day I remember I went to my first Ranger game. It was October 15th, 2005. Wow. I mean, this guy. What was the first concert? Uh, Hilary Duff. So first few concerts for Hilary Duff. Really held up.

• 1:07:07Speaker 03

Yeah, then in, uh, fifth grade, my dad took me and my best friend, which is hilarious to look at in retrospect to, uh, at the Coliseum. It was Danity Kane, Pussycat Dolls and Christina Aguilera. I remember that tour. Yeah, it was awesome. Yeah, I mean, it was amazing. And then outside of that, yeah, I loved, I mean, did Jay-Z growing up?

• 1:07:26Speaker 02

  Yeah, great.

• 1:07:27Speaker 03

Trying to think of other concerts.

• 1:07:29Speaker 02

Who was the most famous person you met as a kid?

• 1:07:31Speaker 03

Had to be somebody juicy, I'm like, I don't know.

• 1:07:33Speaker 02

It had to be like a...

• 1:07:34Speaker 03

  Um...

• 1:07:34Speaker 02

  It's probably like...

• 1:07:36Speaker 03

Look, we, I'm such a big sports fan growing up, we used to do like the, like I would go to like Steiner Sports. So when I was a kid, I met like Henrik Lundqvist, who's like my number one person ever. Uh, Yarmulke Yager, I met them both at the same thing. Henrik, I remember Yager was ninety dollars for an autograph, Henrik was only twenty at the time.

• 1:07:50Speaker 02

  Whoa, yikes.

• 1:07:51Speaker 03

Um, some of the Rangers, um, I mean, I'm sure I met David Wright growing up, probably played baseball stuff.

• 1:07:56Speaker 02

  Okay.

• 1:07:57Speaker 03

But I'm trying to think of a, of a bigger celebrity. Anybody on the news? Good celebrity story, actually. Here we go. When my parents, my parents were in Vegas when I was in my mom's stomach, the Mariners were out one night, I think my parents were playing.

• 1:08:09Speaker 02

The Mariners were out one night.

• 1:08:10Speaker 03

Fucking my mom, my dad made Ken Griffey Jr. rub my mom's stomach.

• 1:08:13Speaker 02

  No way!

• 1:08:14Speaker 03

So I got a little Ken Griffey Jr. magic.

• 1:08:15Speaker 02

  Whoa!

• 1:08:16Speaker 03

Yeah, how about that? There you go. But yeah, growing up, I don't know if I ever met like a real legit famous person.

• 1:08:21Speaker 02

That's a famous person. I mean, I was looking for like somebody who won like a...

• 1:08:23Speaker 03

You ever see Pete Snyder walking around Long Island or anything like that? Oh, well, you know who I saw one day recently, it was not recently, it was probably two thousand seven, two thousand seventeen, two thousand eighteen? Um, I was walking to Barstool's old office, I walked by Bourdain.

• 1:08:36Speaker 02

  Ah, that's sick. Shout out.

• 1:08:39Speaker 03

Yeah, I was pretty happy about that, I walked by Bourdain. Wow, didn't say nothing? Nah, I don't like to say stuff to people. No. People I really admire scare me. I got anyone we've had, even at Barstool on Sunday, people scare me. Like the first person I think I ever saw that freaked me out was Jerry Farrar from Entourage. And I saw him from across...

• 1:08:58Speaker 02

I mean, he's your fucking, he's your Jesus Christ being from, you know, being from Corona, Queens.

• 1:09:03Speaker 03

Turtle, who was his parents? I saw him from across the way at Barstool and I was like...

• 1:09:07Speaker 02

Oh my god, that is fucking, I was... In the name of the E, the Vits?

• 1:09:12Speaker 03

You have a Jerry Farrar t-shirt on? Dude, people like that, remember at Barstool, this was probably twenty eighteen, twenty nineteen, the cast of The Jersey Shore came in. It was legitimately like, like the Beatles came in. It was, the office shut down, like...

• 1:09:25Speaker 02

  Can't work. Got the situation.

• 1:09:27Speaker 03

There was a hundred people upstairs just surrounding them. Hanging out the windows. And it's funny to think about, there's, truly if I was in a room with, I don't know, if I was in a room with... Kevin Dillon, who's Johnny Drama, or Brad Pitt, I would be more scared about being in the room with Kevin Dillon.

• 1:09:43H. Foley?

Kevin Dillon, Kevin Dillon had a great part in Platoon back in the day.

• 1:09:45Speaker 03

Yeah, was it Bunny or Rabbit or something, right?

• 1:09:47H. Foley?

Yeah, he killed the kid in the hut.

• 1:09:50Speaker 03

But yeah, just people that you really like, Artie Lange is a big one for me.

• 1:09:53Speaker 02

  Sure, I love Artie Lange.

• 1:09:54Speaker 03

He walked by me one day at Bar, I put my fucking head down, and yeah, just people like that. Like, I love people that I love. Derek, we did Sunday with Darius Rucker, I'm a huge Darius Rucker fan. And I remember my heart was bleeding.

• 1:10:08Speaker 02

From the Mariners, yeah, Hootie and the Blowfish.

• 1:10:10Speaker 03

Hey, you guys want to hear a fucking sick story about Darius Rucker? That was one of the top moments of my life that happened to me last year, actually. So last June, I'm in Nashville, I'm going to, I went to a comedy show, and then I go to this place Sinatra. There's a Sinatra restaurant in Nashville, and I bring this lovely lady that I love to the Sinatra place. Obviously, I was trying to impress her, and...

• 1:10:30H. Foley?

How much of a gentleman do you think he is on a date?

• 1:10:32Speaker 03

  Pretty good.

• 1:10:32Speaker 02

  Pull a chair out.

• 1:10:33H. Foley?

Probably smells great, good shirt on.

• 1:10:35Speaker 03

So Sinatra's also a place, very narrow place in Nashville. I walk into my left, Darius is standing there with two other people.

• 1:10:41Speaker 02

And you had already done the show?

• 1:10:42Speaker 03

I had already done the show.

• 1:10:43Speaker 02

  Oh, come on!

• 1:10:44Speaker 03

He gets up and comes up to me and says, "Oh, good to see you." And I was like...

• 1:10:48Speaker 02

Good to see you, Mr. Bald.

• 1:10:49Speaker 03

I was like, "Dude, get the fuck out of here." Fucking Hootie, Darius Rucker just did that? I'm like, "Dude, did you see that? Did you see that?

• 1:10:56Speaker 02

Man, she's like, she's in the bathroom, fuck!

• 1:10:58H. Foley?

Darius, I'm on a date, back off!

• 1:11:00Speaker 03

That's it, it's like the classic Tom Rickles, it's a Sinatra story. But it was almost like that. It was, I was like, "Dude, did you just fucking see that? That was Darius Rucker."

• 1:11:08Speaker 02

  That's great.

• 1:11:08Speaker 03

That was one of the top moments of my life.

• 1:11:10H. Foley?

I'm taking points away, Hootie and the Blowfish?

• 1:11:11Speaker 03

You don't like Hootie and the Blowfish?

• 1:11:12H. Foley?

  That was cheeseball.

• 1:11:14Speaker 02

  He's 50, you're...

• 1:11:16Speaker 03

Wait, so I don't want to make fun of your age, so how old are you right now?

• 1:11:19Speaker 02

No, I'm just saying, I'm not making fun of, I mean, also...

• 1:11:21Speaker 03

  What year were you born?

• 1:11:22Speaker 02

  What a...

• 1:11:22H. Foley?

  Dude, he got salty quick.

• 1:11:24Speaker 03

  What year were you born?

• 1:11:25H. Foley?

  1976.

• 1:11:27Speaker 03

So you were fucking 18 when Cracked Review came out? How are you not the biggest Hootie and the Blowfish fan ever?

• 1:11:32H. Foley?

You weren't born when that came out!

• 1:11:33Speaker 03

How are you not the biggest Hootie and the Blowfish fan to ever live?

• 1:11:35Speaker 02

That makes it, yes, I didn't even think of that, that's when it hit for you.

• 1:11:39Speaker 03

18 years old, and that's when Hold My Hand came out?

• 1:11:43Speaker 03

  You're, you're

• 1:11:43H. Foley?

  Didn't like it.

• 1:11:44Speaker 03

What'd you like, what'd you like, what'd you like?

• 1:11:45H. Foley?

It was all grunge, old seventies and stuff like that. So in my eyes, it was like, whatever.

• 1:11:49Speaker 03

So you were all like Nirvana?

• 1:11:50H. Foley?

  Sure.

• 1:11:51Speaker 03

  Stone Temple Pilots?

• 1:11:52H. Foley?

Sure. How do you feel about them?

• 1:11:56Speaker 02

We're gonna have to end this before they, before they start ramming each other.

• 1:12:00Speaker 03

Wait, why are you saying, I'm not saying, I love Stone Temple Pilots.

• 1:12:02Speaker 02

No, you just, you nailed him. Like, he is Nirvana.

• 1:12:04H. Foley?

Imagine me and him in an argument, how bad he crucified. It's to be like fighting a smarter version of myself. The intimate details.

• 1:12:12Speaker 03

So that's what you like, though?

• 1:12:14Speaker 02

That's okay for a guy like you.

• 1:12:15H. Foley?

  So you're a moron.

• 1:12:16Speaker 03

  What's your dream concert?

• 1:12:17H. Foley?

  My dream concert?

• 1:12:18Speaker 02

  Him onstage playing the guitar.

• 1:12:19Speaker 03

What would be, what, what do you, what music do you like? If I go on your playlist right now, what are you listening to?

• 1:12:24H. Foley?

Uh, nothing. Not really listening to music that much.

• 1:12:27Speaker 03

  Okay.

• 1:12:27Speaker 02

Sure has a fucking opinion on it, though, I'll tell you that much.

• 1:12:31H. Foley?

I was, listen, I was just saying on a garbage scale.

• 1:12:33Speaker 03

Not like Hootie and the Blowfish is, like, it's, they got kinda nickelbacked, I think, and it's fucked up.

• 1:12:37Speaker 02

  I don't disagree.

• 1:12:38H. Foley?

  Alright, so I'm not crazy?

• 1:12:39Speaker 03

Yeah, no, they definitely, people had that feeling for them for a while. I think they're kinda back now, because they've been touring. I went to the tour a few years ago, they're great. And, yeah, I think-

• 1:12:46Speaker 02

  Listen.

• 1:12:47Speaker 03

  Hootie and the Blowfish?

• 1:12:48Speaker 02

Glenn, you, you don't know him that well. If fucking Hootie and the Blowfish walked up to him when he was on a date, he had a fucking Outback Steakhouse, he'd be slipping out of his seat, alright? So you don't have to defend yourself. You're right, you're all class, and I love the shit out of you, baby.

• 1:13:01H. Foley?

I know your English ain't good, but that's Darius Rock.

• 1:13:04Speaker 02

  Good friend of mine.

• 1:13:06Speaker 03

She speaks fluent English. But that was pretty cool. That and the boob in the window.

• 1:13:12H. Foley?

And I didn't mean it to diminish that.

• 1:13:13Speaker 03

No, that and the boob in the window were two of my top moments.

• 1:13:15Speaker 02

  Love it.

• 1:13:16H. Foley?

  What do you think?

• 1:13:16Speaker 02

I said he's all fucking all class, what are you talking about?

• 1:13:18Speaker 03

That was nice, that was a great compliment.

• 1:13:20Speaker 02

  He's all class.

• 1:13:21H. Foley?

  Buddy, you are all-

• 1:13:22Speaker 02

  I mean-

• 1:13:23H. Foley?

  Sharp.

• 1:13:23Speaker 02

Yeah, sure, well put together. I'm sure he's got third under the fingernails, just like everybody else. He's Long Island kid. Not your actual fingernails, just in general. Uh, but yeah, I mean, all class, calculated, well, you know, kid's good, good kid.

• 1:13:35H. Foley?

You have one of those little brushes in the shower you do the nails with?

• 1:13:37Speaker 03

  No, I'm, no.

• 1:13:39H. Foley?

Is there anything, is there anything garbage wise you think that we never got to, or?

• 1:13:43Speaker 03

  Garbage.

• 1:13:44H. Foley?

What skeletons are in the closet?

• 1:13:45Speaker 03

So my question to you guys, is garbage being, is good, right?

• 1:13:48Speaker 02

It's good, it's welcome to the party, we're all dirt, we all, we think everybody's garbage to an extent.

• 1:13:52H. Foley?

  And so is being classy.

• 1:13:53Speaker 03

So have you given me the verdict yet?

• 1:13:54Speaker 02

Yeah, I think you're all class. Listen, you're...

• 1:13:56Speaker 03

  I'm not garbage?

• 1:13:57Speaker 02

  You are. Listen, you are.

• 1:13:59H. Foley?

  You're from Long Island.

• 1:13:59Speaker 03

  That's what I'm saying, I'm, yeah.

• 1:14:01Speaker 02

  You're a Long Island dirtbag. You're trash.

• 1:14:02H. Foley?

You're like the giant in the ring.

• 1:14:03Speaker 02

  But you're doing...

• 1:14:04H. Foley?

  Even your parents' basement.

• 1:14:05Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, like, listen, I can...

• 1:14:06H. Foley?

  But you're sharp.

• 1:14:07Speaker 02

I can easily spin this narrative that you are a full-fledged dirtbag.

• 1:14:10Speaker 03

I don't want to be garbage.

• 1:14:12H. Foley?

But if you go that route, the whole eastern seaboard's getting wiped out.

• 1:14:15Speaker 02

  I know, but you're...

• 1:14:16H. Foley?

We gotta have guys like you that know how to...

• 1:14:17Speaker 02

You're trying, you're trying, you're, you're, you're, you're well thought out, you're, you're, you're very, you know, forward-thinking, you're, you're doing well. Not even like, career-wise, just like, listen, do you love Outback Steakhouse? You do. Are you a dirtbag?

• 1:14:28H. Foley?

  You enjoy it. It's okay.

• 1:14:30Speaker 02

For sure. You know what I mean? Are you also a guy who's, you know, well put together? You're taking broads out to Sinatra?

• 1:14:35H. Foley?

  You know Eoli?

• 1:14:36Speaker 02

You're doing the whole thing. You're, you're a good kid.

• 1:14:38Speaker 03

  Jekyll and Hyde.

• 1:14:38Speaker 02

You're a good, exactly. Walks in both worlds, good kid.

• 1:14:40Speaker 03

I'll take that. I just want to be a little garbage.

• 1:14:42Speaker 02

You're for sure, for sure a dirtbag.

• 1:14:44H. Foley?

  Don't worry about that.

• 1:14:45Speaker 03

Yeah, I feel like you guys are acting, yeah, I was worried you guys were acting like I'm some sort of like, southern kid that has a rich, like, that comes from the rich lawyer dad.

• 1:14:51Speaker 02

You had an inflatable hot tub in your parents' backyard, you're sleeping in the Giants locker room in your basement, you're a dirtbag.

• 1:14:56H. Foley?

I like it because we couldn't find the hole. In the area's a big toenail. Probably down there.

• 1:15:01Speaker 03

Okay, that, that's perfect. Yeah, I'll take all class. I'll take all class, that's one of my favorite compliments.

• 1:15:04Speaker 02

  There you go.

• 1:15:05Speaker 03

  I always say all class.

• 1:15:05H. Foley?

  Very sharp.

• 1:15:06Speaker 03

  And I just want to...

• 1:15:07H. Foley?

  You're 29.

• 1:15:08Speaker 03

One thing I would always say is I would love to leave people and they'd be like, oh, that guy's a good hang.

• 1:15:12Speaker 02

  You're a good, you're a good shit.

• 1:15:13Speaker 03

Yeah, that would be, that would be my ideal compliment in life. I don't want to get handsome, I'm not handsome, I don't want to get your good, I don't, I just want to be like, yeah, that guy's a fun time, he's a good shit.

• 1:15:21H. Foley?

Anything else about Delmar Beach you want to let him know?

• 1:15:23Speaker 03

  Delray Beach?

• 1:15:24Speaker 02

  Delray Beach?

• 1:15:24Speaker 03

Delmar Beach is in San Diego, California.

• 1:15:26H. Foley?

  Stay away.

• 1:15:27Speaker 03

No, great place, I was just there.

• 1:15:28H. Foley?

The worst watermelon my teeth's ever had.

• 1:15:30Speaker 03

The Pacific Ocean. Overrated, though. Very, it's too cold.

• 1:15:32Speaker 02

  I don't just, I don't...

• 1:15:33Speaker 03

  You can't go in it.

• 1:15:34H. Foley?

I don't know, that's like an alien thing to me.

• 1:15:36Speaker 03

  The Pacific Ocean.

• 1:15:37H. Foley?

  Hawaii, you'd love Hawaii.

• 1:15:38Speaker 03

Never been, I would think I would love.

• 1:15:39H. Foley?

  Poke. Home run.

• 1:15:41Speaker 03

Get it at the grocery store, Top Shot. All the Diner's Jarvis and Dives episodes, that he can go to and get poke on there?

• 1:15:45Speaker 02

You're really, you're really losing your classy fucking, hold on, classy judgment by...

• 1:15:49H. Foley?

Here's the problem, you're gonna go down, you're gonna have it, you're gonna go back to that other place, not gonna want to touch it. I tell you a thing.

• 1:15:54Speaker 03

I, I stay true to my cherry blossom.

• 1:15:57H. Foley?

I'm a loyal guy. But the Civicos in California, the fuck drop off, dark water. It's cold in California. Sharks. It's really cold in California. See, he's a sharp guy.

• 1:16:05Speaker 02

I've been fucking saying that. We gotta wrap it up here.

• 1:16:08H. Foley?

  Thanks, guys.

• 1:16:08Speaker 02

  Yeah, of course.

• 1:16:09H. Foley?

Glenny Balls, this is real fun, I appreciate it.

• 1:16:10Speaker 02

Love you, brother, this was fantastic.

• 1:16:12H. Foley?

Kevy, what do you got for him?

• 1:16:12Speaker 02

Uh, guys, we're on the, we're gearing up for the tour in September, all tickets available at are you good garbage dot com, we'll see you out there.

• 1:16:18H. Foley?

  What a home run.

• 1:16:19Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:16:19H. Foley?

I was shocked, I was surprised, I love you, Glenny Balls, we love you. Hey, gang, we love you guys. We'll see you next week.

• 1:16:24Speaker 00

  Peace.
