Hey, can you come pick me up? Yeah, what's wrong? Nothing. Are you sure? Yeah, no, I just need a ride.

• 0:26Speaker 01

So why, I just wanna have fun. Start your engines. Tight.

• 0:30Benito Skinner?

  I'm Benito Skinner.

• 0:31Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm Mary Beth Barone.

• 0:32Benito Skinner?

  And this.

• 0:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Is.

• 0:34Benito Skinner?

  Ride.

• 0:38Benito Skinner?

We wish you a Merry Christmas. We wish you a Merry Christmas. We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Great tidings to you.

• 0:46Mary Beth Barone?

  And you.

• 0:46Benito Skinner?

And you. Great tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.

• 0:51Mary Beth Barone?

When's the Nina Drama Christmas special?

• 0:53Benito Skinner?

Santa baby, a fifty-four can be a beauty. Light blue, hey, Santa. This was Terry. Santa baby, a Rimowa would be so cool from you. So I got Terry a Rimowa. Let me tell you about what the fuck happened to me.

• 1:11Mary Beth Barone?

  Speak on it.

• 1:12Benito Skinner?

So, straight people and their travel luggage. It's such a culture. I had no idea. And I said last week about this guy who looked at me when I was zipping my Patagonia full of couture. Is that the 180 milliliter? And I'm like, what are you talking about? I don't know. I could never know such things.

• 1:30Mary Beth Barone?

I don't buy my luggage based on milliliters.

• 1:34Benito Skinner?

I could never know such atrocities.

• 1:35Mary Beth Barone?

They tell you, I don't buy it based on that.

• 1:38Benito Skinner?

But if you asked me, I would tell you that in Wicked, they sung live. You know what I mean? Like, I know things like that.

• 1:43Mary Beth Barone?

  Well, yeah.

• 1:43Benito Skinner?

I don't know the milliliters of this bag that carries my couture.

• 1:47Mary Beth Barone?

It's not important to my life.

• 1:48Benito Skinner?

So Terry wanted a suitcase. And so for his birthday, I was like, great, I'm gonna get you a suitcase, baby. Whatever my baby wants, my baby gets. Because I'm, I'm an NBA player dating an influencer. Do you understand that?

• 2:00Mary Beth Barone?

I've never understood anything more, actually. So, thank you for explaining it like that.

• 2:04Benito Skinner?

  Oh, wait, I didn't wish, I didn't wish you a Merry Quasemice.

• 2:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, well, there's still time.

• 2:09Benito Skinner?

Okay, good. Okay, good. So Terry and I go and we get this Rimowa. The lovely woman working there, she spends not five hours explaining the technology of this, of this bag to me.

• 2:22Mary Beth Barone?

Can you give me a little, like a little taste?

• 2:25Benito Skinner?

  There's a lock, there's, there's different compartments, it, there's.

• 2:29Mary Beth Barone?

  There's a fleshlight.

• 2:30Benito Skinner?

There's a fleshlight, of course. Well, the fleshlight component, the fleshlight add-on.

• 2:33Mary Beth Barone?

But you can take it out if you need to, if you have to take the fleshlight out because it can't go under the plane.

• 2:38Benito Skinner?

Yeah, well, of course. No batteries.

• 2:40Mary Beth Barone?

  Exactly.

• 2:41Benito Skinner?

So there's also something like you can, it has something that pairs with your iPhone, which iPhones. Oh, sorry. Dear media, clip this. iPhones don't work lately. I don't know what's going on, but I know there's that.

• 2:52Mary Beth Barone?

  Technology is getting worse.

• 2:53Benito Skinner?

There's that lore that if new iPhones come out, yours stop working, and it's the only thing I believe in, aside from Big Pharma and the cold industry.

• 3:01Mary Beth Barone?

Just techno, I just have to say across the board, technology is getting worse and it's because of humans. It's not the machines.

• 3:08Benito Skinner?

  You don't think it's AI?

• 3:09Mary Beth Barone?

No, I, well, AI, but who built AI?

• 3:12Benito Skinner?

Can I say this? And AI, if you hear this, come for me, come for my house, I don't care. My remote blows up.

• 3:18Mary Beth Barone?

Kills Terry. It's like the, it's like the Tars when Matt Damon is, is up there and he programs the Tars to explode.

• 3:25Benito Skinner?

No, it's lit, no, it's Joker. It's Maggie Gyllenhaal.

• 3:28Mary Beth Barone?

Also, we're saying Fualada like so wrong. And someone commented on the Reddit being like, are they, they're doing that on purpose, right?

• 3:34Benito Skinner?

  No.

• 3:35Mary Beth Barone?

No, you said it and then I, it made sense to me. So I was like, that's how it said.

• 3:40Benito Skinner?

Have I not talked to you that I watched it? I, I loved it.

• 3:43Mary Beth Barone?

  My mom texted me.

• 3:44Benito Skinner?

  What'd she say?

• 3:45Mary Beth Barone?

She goes, I'm watching Joker. I said, which one? One or two? She's never seen the first one. She said two. It's pretty good.

• 3:51Benito Skinner?

Sorry, everyone wanted to hate that? Or am I like some, there's something going on because like, yes, it is an insane film, but I really fucked with it. I mean, I'm a gog, I'm a monster.

• 4:02Mary Beth Barone?

I can't wait to watch it.

• 4:03Benito Skinner?

But I, yeah, I don't know. I, I guess I was entering it being like so many people had such negative reactions to this, but I feel like it was. It smelled of incel culture.

• 4:14Mary Beth Barone?

  Hating it?

• 4:14Benito Skinner?

  Hating it.

• 4:15Mary Beth Barone?

Well, because the first one was their doctrine, so.

• 4:18Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, their mating call.

• 4:19Mary Beth Barone?

  It was their manifesto.

• 4:20Benito Skinner?

  Their rallying cry.

• 4:21Mary Beth Barone?

  Ooh, hoo.

• 4:22Benito Skinner?

  So I'm at Rimowa. Rimowa.

• 4:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Rimowa.

• 4:26Benito Skinner?

Rimowa, if you're nasty, you'll guess.

• 4:28Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 4:29Benito Skinner?

Is that the way you say it? I don't know.

• 4:30Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm not sure.

• 4:31Benito Skinner?

  Okay.

• 4:31Mary Beth Barone?

  There's no way of knowing.

• 4:33Benito Skinner?

In her five-hour lecture about this bag was never brought up.

• 4:36Mary Beth Barone?

She never once said the brand name.

• 4:37Benito Skinner?

Not, not once. So we get this bag and I just, I look around the store. It's packed and it's all these, I know they're straight, not to like label people's sexuality, but they're all straight. And the way they cared about this, well, they brought out this one Rimowa and I'm like, well, we're not carrying a gun, so I don't think we need that. And I'm also not like packing diamonds anywhere, so also not that one.

• 4:59Mary Beth Barone?

But what about your briefcase full of money that you travel with?

• 5:02Benito Skinner?

  Oh.

• 5:03Mary Beth Barone?

You keep that in your Patagonia?

• 5:04Benito Skinner?

  Well, that's a to me.

• 5:05Mary Beth Barone?

Well, you keep 180 milliliters of money.

• 5:07Benito Skinner?

Don't talk about my away bag right now. That's private. But, oh my God, it's, I just realized, I go, this is the culture. This is, and the price, it was so expensive. And hey, I'll drop dollars on my horse, girl, but I was just like, oh my God, there are some things I don't really spend money on and it's workout clothes and travel things. Like, I know my Patagonia is nice, but I'm not like, the thought of Louis Vuitton luggage to me is insane. I'm like, why, what?

• 5:31Mary Beth Barone?

  No, it's unnecessary.

• 5:33Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I'm like, I, I do think you should wear clothes on flights, though. I don't need to see sweats.

• 5:37Mary Beth Barone?

No, no, yeah, I get that. I'm, I am a mixed bag. Depends on how long the flight is.

• 5:41Benito Skinner?

Come on, let's have, let's dress up for each other, why don't we?

• 5:44Mary Beth Barone?

Why don't we? It's something to give each other.

• 5:46Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 5:47Mary Beth Barone?

So I would love to have someone fact-check this, not me.

• 5:50Benito Skinner?

  I'm gonna kiss you!

• 5:51Mary Beth Barone?

Do it. I think Rimowa, so Away walked so Rimowa could run and it's like, I saw what you did. You just made a product that was more expensive, that's like silver, so it looks like it could be in a James Bond film.

• 6:03Benito Skinner?

  What came first?

• 6:04Mary Beth Barone?

  I think Away came first.

• 6:06Benito Skinner?

I think you might be wrong.

• 6:08Mary Beth Barone?

I think I'm right, but I actually, fuck it, I'll look it up. I'll look it up. I'll fuck, I'll fuck around and find out.

• 6:13Benito Skinner?

It just feels insane that the second one would be like, they're like, oh, we're gonna make it so much more expensive.

• 6:17Mary Beth Barone?

Well, because they saw that like, people actually want like chic luggage. I need to see a story about us. Rimowa. Rimowa.

• 6:26Benito Skinner?

Terry has fully entered this culture. He's obsessed with it. He loves, he loves it. He goes, look at this. He shows me all the features. He's completely lost his mind. I've lost the love of my life to Rimowa.

• 6:37Mary Beth Barone?

Well, he can be hetero about certain things. And I think that's okay.

• 6:41Benito Skinner?

You're, I'm, my ride today is lean hetero.

• 6:44Mary Beth Barone?

  Totally.

• 6:45Benito Skinner?

  I won't lie.

• 6:45Mary Beth Barone?

And that's okay. You're dipping in. Also, I want to say the Rimowa Wikipedia page is so confusing, so I need to dig in a little more and find out what the real timeline is.

• 6:52Benito Skinner?

  Please do.

• 6:53Mary Beth Barone?

And I will. But I just feel like I, I never heard of these bags. And then all of a sudden, they're taking the world by storm. I have so many suitcases under my bed, because that's where I have to store them. And I have a bed skirt, so you can't see them. I, I don't have room for more, but I guess for a Rimowa, like, it, it's working. The marketing's working on me.

• 7:11Benito Skinner?

  I agree.

• 7:11Mary Beth Barone?

Also, I got a light pink away suitcase, thinking no one else would ever buy that. And then every single time I'm at baggage claim, there's at least three other people with it. So maybe I need to like, I don't know, upgrade or whatever. I don't know, dude.

• 7:23Benito Skinner?

I'll, hey, I'll take you to Rimowa. You can, I'll introduce you to my girl, and she can take you. I mean, she wrote that Wikipedia page.

• 7:29Mary Beth Barone?

But I don't want to be in there for five hours. Luxury shopping experiences, you guys, whoever's designing these, you need to understand, time is money. I want to get out. You don't have to.

• 7:38Benito Skinner?

  Thank you so much.

• 7:38Mary Beth Barone?

It's like, it's like Mr. Bean and Love Actually.

• 7:40Benito Skinner?

I was about to say, Mr. Bean, Love Actually.

• 7:42Mary Beth Barone?

I don't need the yogurt covered chocolate. Like, stop.

• 7:44Benito Skinner?

That's so funny you say that, baby.

• 7:46Mary Beth Barone?

  Talk to me, daddy.

• 7:47Benito Skinner?

Yo, I always get your references. And I think the same ones. Because we left the Rimowa and I went, fucking Mr. Bean and Love Actually. She, she was about to.

• 7:54Mary Beth Barone?

  Sorry, I have a job.

• 7:55Benito Skinner?

She was about to put rose petals in that bag.

• 7:57Mary Beth Barone?

I have to go do the podcast.

• 7:58Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I have to do, sorry. And if you have a podcast, you have to do it every week.

• 8:02Mary Beth Barone?

  Every week.

• 8:03Benito Skinner?

But speaking of Terry's birthday and my baby girl's new bag.

• 8:07Mary Beth Barone?

Poppy's got a brand new bag.

• 8:08Benito Skinner?

Baby's got a brand new bag. So, oh, talk about iconic line reads. Everything the guy who's working at, what's that place called?

• 8:15Mary Beth Barone?

  Gimbel's.

• 8:16Benito Skinner?

  Gimbel's.

• 8:16Mary Beth Barone?

In, in, in, I almost said Trek in Elf.

• 8:19Benito Skinner?

  Who is that actor?

• 8:20Mary Beth Barone?

Papa's got a brand new bag.

• 8:21Benito Skinner?

  He is.

• 8:22Mary Beth Barone?

Or is it Santa's got a brand new bag?

• 8:24Benito Skinner?

  Call me on my radio.

• 8:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Call me on my radio.

• 8:27Benito Skinner?

  Every line is perfect.

• 8:30Benito Skinner?

I don't know who's going in for my job, but let's remain a team.

• 8:32Mary Beth Barone?

  Let's remain a team.

• 8:33Benito Skinner?

Terry's birthday this year, you guys may have seen, but every year, you've been there for a couple.

• 8:38Mary Beth Barone?

I actually was only there for one because last year I had a parasite. Do you remember?

• 8:42Benito Skinner?

  I forgot, I forgot, I forgot.

• 8:43Mary Beth Barone?

Cause I couldn't do a two hour drive without stopping to go to the bathroom.

• 8:45Benito Skinner?

I was at an event last night and they go, where's Mary Beth? And I said, she has a stomach ache.

• 8:49Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 8:49Benito Skinner?

And they went, oh, totally. Like, they didn't even bat an eye.

• 8:52Mary Beth Barone?

If I have a stomach ache.

• 8:52Benito Skinner?

I know, and I wouldn't want you to. I said that, I go, I'm not gonna pressure her. I'd love to see her, but I'll see her tomorrow. Like, it's not a big deal. So Terry's birthday, every year, we go to this place in Palm Springs, and there's a piano there, and our friend, I know, plays the piano. And I do a recital with her for Terry for his birthday, and it's always a musical medley. This year was the longest one at 12 minutes, 30 seconds, I believe.

• 9:15Mary Beth Barone?

Well, you're trying to get it longer every year, right?

• 9:17Benito Skinner?

Yeah, and by the end, I think it'll be on Peacock.

• 9:19Mary Beth Barone?

And it'll be just the entire play of Wicked.

• 9:22Benito Skinner?

It kind of, yeah, it kind of has a radio mashup-ness to it, like the, you know.

• 9:27Mary Beth Barone?

  DJ Earworm.

• 9:28Benito Skinner?

It's, well, it's DJ Earworm. It's a DJ Earworm musical melody.

• 9:32Mary Beth Barone?

  By Benny, by Queers Folks.

• 9:33Benito Skinner?

By Queers Folks and overcompensating Spenny Drama 7. So this year, should I tell you the setlist?

• 9:40Mary Beth Barone?

Before you do, I just wanna say, how cool is it to have a friend that can just play the piano?

• 9:45Benito Skinner?

  She's incre- I know.

• 9:46Mary Beth Barone?

  Because that's so rare.

• 9:47Benito Skinner?

It's unbelievable. And she pulls up this app, I don't know what app it is, I would never ask. You could type in any song and she gets it on the piano. So I'm like, okay, I think we should start with 360.

• 9:56Mary Beth Barone?

I can write a song on my new piano. That's an Ariana Grande song. It's such a good song.

• 10:02Benito Skinner?

  Pete Davidson?

• 10:02Mary Beth Barone?

It's called New Piano or something.

• 10:04Benito Skinner?

Wait, your song Edward Blue Mel?

• 10:06Mary Beth Barone?

Edward Blue Mel. When I release Sweetener 2. And I have a song called Edward Blue Mel, and it's all lowercase. Let me hear the setlist, kid.

• 10:14Benito Skinner?

So look at your friend and say 360 and she tickles the ivories.

• 10:19Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh.

• 10:19Benito Skinner?

And goes bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum bum. So that's our opener. There's so much lore to this. I mean, I've done it for five years. I don't know how to describe this, but I guess I'll do my best. I do this kind of riff bit in the middle of it where I say, she's at the wedding. You don't know who it is, but it's kind of like a harlot. She's like this temptress who's at a wedding and it's kind of like a jazz.

• 10:41Mary Beth Barone?

You showing up to Terry's grandma's funeral.

• 10:43Benito Skinner?

Don't, not today. Knock it off. Wait, knock it off his back. Sorry.

• 10:49Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, old timey phrases are so back. The other day I go, he has more money than God.

• 10:53Benito Skinner?

Well, you said Thickest Thieves twice last week.

• 10:55Mary Beth Barone?

I know. And then I was thinking, I don't know him from Adam. You know that phrase?

• 10:59Benito Skinner?

  Whoa.

• 10:59Mary Beth Barone?

  And also I don't.

• 11:00Benito Skinner?

  Every Tom, Dick and Harry.

• 11:01Mary Beth Barone?

I don't trust him as far as I could throw him.

• 11:03Benito Skinner?

  Heavens to Murgatroyd.

• 11:04Mary Beth Barone?

  Heavens to Murgatroyd.

• 11:05Benito Skinner?

  Terry's mom.

• 11:06Mary Beth Barone?

At the end of the day.

• 11:06Benito Skinner?

Mm hmm. So the recital, it starts with 360, then I went into Espresso, of course. After Espresso, I did That's So True, Gracie Abrams, which Terry will listen to just on repeat, which I love. The first time I heard it, I was like, oh my God, it's 10 minutes.

• 11:23Mary Beth Barone?

  It's not.

• 11:24Benito Skinner?

It's not because I just heard Terry.

• 11:25Mary Beth Barone?

Beauties in the eye of the beholder.

• 11:27Benito Skinner?

  Exactly.

• 11:27Mary Beth Barone?

And so you can stop a movie whenever you want and you can play a song as many times as you want.

• 11:31Benito Skinner?

And Terry will, he's, he's testing that every day. It went from That's So True, Gracie Abrams into, oh, into my riff about the woman of the wedding. And then I say what her name is and we go Aqua Marine. Aqua Marine Addison Rae into Girl So Confusing into Sexy To Someone Espresso 360 Mashup Glee Version.

• 11:54Mary Beth Barone?

Well, if you don't think that Benny Jama is off book for all these songs, like you'd be wrong.

• 11:58Benito Skinner?

  You're wrong.

• 11:59Mary Beth Barone?

He is off book for all these songs.

• 12:01Benito Skinner?

And we only practiced twice before, might I add. We, we get the setlist, we do it once and then we do it. We don't try to, you know, we let it be free. We let it happen. But okay, there were some comments that were like, like I'd pay to see this. And I'm like, well, some of you have, like we do do live shows.

• 12:16Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 12:16Benito Skinner?

I don't know how to say this any other way. We do perform.

• 12:18Mary Beth Barone?

  You have.

• 12:19Benito Skinner?

  We have toured.

• 12:20Mary Beth Barone?

  It's just been a while.

• 12:20Benito Skinner?

It's been a while, but we have toured.

• 12:22Mary Beth Barone?

And we have a live event coming for you that you're not ready for.

• 12:25Benito Skinner?

  You're so not ready.

• 12:26Mary Beth Barone?

We can't wait to talk about it.

• 12:27Benito Skinner?

Let's just say one word, heritage.

• 12:29Mary Beth Barone?

Heritage kid. People were freaking out about the recital. People posted on Reddit about it. It's sort of shaking the world by storm. It's sort of reminiscent of, I'm your sister, what to do?

• 12:39Benito Skinner?

  They're going, oh, really?

• 12:40Mary Beth Barone?

You couldn't imagine that it's resonating with people so much.

• 12:43Benito Skinner?

  Wow.

• 12:44Mary Beth Barone?

They just want to see you at your most raw.

• 12:46Benito Skinner?

That's me at my most raw, and that's me at, if I'm performing for my baby, like, I'm gonna give him a show. Then I, it was the first year with an encore, and when I came back, I did 16 carriages. But you know that my, I say 16 parages. And when I say aquamarine, on the second one, I do aqua poutine. So there's just a few, like, inside jokes with Terry, because I'll do this thing. If he plays a song too much, I start to ruin it, so he'll play it less.

• 13:09Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 13:09Benito Skinner?

  Because he just, it's.

• 13:10Mary Beth Barone?

And poutine's been a huge inside joke for you guys for a while.

• 13:14Benito Skinner?

Uh, well, poutine, well, yeah, of course, it's poutine era.

• 13:18Mary Beth Barone?

  Right.

• 13:18Benito Skinner?

Yeah, that's what that recital was.

• 13:19Mary Beth Barone?

  That's life.

• 13:22Benito Skinner?

Not Terry, that's life. You know, that's how we ended it, right? We looked at each other and said, I've always been interested in parages, me and I know, uh, we turned to Terry and go, that's life.

• 13:31Mary Beth Barone?

  Wow.

• 13:32Benito Skinner?

They sing that's life in Fualada. Hey, Todd Phillips.

• 13:35Mary Beth Barone?

  That's kind of weird.

• 13:37Benito Skinner?

There are eats here, wasted. I bet Todd Phillips has such a big rimabwa.

• 13:42Mary Beth Barone?

I'm sure, the biggest one that they have on the market.

• 13:44Benito Skinner?

Today, I will be riding for Graild.

• 13:47Mary Beth Barone?

And today, I will be riding for tipping.

• 13:52Mary Beth Barone?

Hey, baronies, it's Mary Beth here. I'm coming to you live from my cousin's apartment in Chicago. Can you even believe that? I'm so blessed to be doing ads in such a beautiful space. Today, this podcast is brought to you by Article. As you know, I had a fabulous experience with Article. I ordered two chairs and two lamps. They're totally fabulous. The lamps are these, like, gold lamps with little, like, circular cutouts. They cast a really beautiful light on the wall. Then, of course, famously, my apartment is too small for two more chairs, so one is in my parents' house, waiting until I can upgrade and have both chairs together, as God intended.

The quality is fabulous. It's super comfortable. And what I love about Article is that. That they believe in delightful design for every home and I can attest to that. And thanks to their online only model, they have some really delightful prices too. Their curated assortment of mid-century modern coastal industrial Scandi and boho designs makes furniture shopping simple. Their team of designers are all about finding the perfect balance between style, quality and price. They're dedicated to thoughtful craftsmanship that stands the test of time and looks good doing it. Also, the delivery could not have been easier. They brought it right to my door and for what I ordered, there was no assembly required. What's amazing is that Article is offering our listeners $50 off your first purchase of $100 or more.

• 19:03Benito Skinner?

  Who cares?

• 19:03Mary Beth Barone?

  Ride.

• 19:05Benito Skinner?

  Cow tipping.

• 19:05Mary Beth Barone?

Cow tipping, as we, as we mentioned on the phone yesterday, I said I'm riding for tipping. You said cow tipping? Hey, you can take the kid out of Idaho, kid.

• 19:13Benito Skinner?

I'll say the joke twice. I don't give a shit. So.

• 19:16Mary Beth Barone?

I don't care about like, you should, if a joke lands, you should say it as many times as you want.

• 19:21Benito Skinner?

  Even if it doesn't.

• 19:22Mary Beth Barone?

I said a joke that I've said on this podcast, on a different podcast, and at first I was like, maybe that's lame. But then I was like, no, more people need to hear it.

• 19:28Benito Skinner?

I've told the titty milk story about my football coach a thousand times, and I'm sure I'll say it again.

• 19:33Mary Beth Barone?

A thousand and one, make it a thousand and one.

• 19:35Benito Skinner?

Done. You better say it at my funeral.

• 19:37Mary Beth Barone?

I will. I'm gonna reenact it. The first joke I ever saw you do.

• 19:40Benito Skinner?

You have to say, this is stand up that Benny never got filmed. Should we, should we reveal that I, during the pandemic, made a comedy album and that it's not out?

• 19:49Mary Beth Barone?

I can't talk about it because it's fucking incredible.

• 19:53Benito Skinner?

I'm so proud of it. I just, it was supposed to be a part of a special. I think they'll get it one day.

• 19:56Mary Beth Barone?

I think maybe one day, but the thing is, I have a link to it and I listen to it on my own.

• 20:01Benito Skinner?

  Oh, that's sweet.

• 20:01Mary Beth Barone?

  Quite a bit.

• 20:02Benito Skinner?

It's got some bangers. I had so much fun. I made it during the pandemic. It's my, it's my folklore, if you will.

• 20:06Mary Beth Barone?

  Really fucking good.

• 20:08Benito Skinner?

  Thanks, sweetie.

• 20:09Mary Beth Barone?

So, because you're a total genius and a generational talent.

• 20:11Benito Skinner?

Thanks, honey. So that's, I think that's what I'm getting out of my system with the recital.

• 20:15Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 20:16Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 20:16Mary Beth Barone?

And we look forward to the day when the public can hear your album.

• 20:20Benito Skinner?

Yeah. I might leak the record. Who knows?

• 20:23Mary Beth Barone?

Or I might leak the record.

• 20:24Benito Skinner?

  Don't.

• 20:24Mary Beth Barone?

  I won't, I won't, I won't. I wouldn't even know how to do that. How the fuck could I do that?

• 20:28Benito Skinner?

Well, we deactivated our Twitter. I don't know where else you would do something sinister as that.

• 20:32Mary Beth Barone?

I get posted on Google Drive, right? That's the thing. So tipping, I'm gonna go first this week because I want to be clear that I wish we lived in a society where we didn't have to tip because everybody got paid a living wage. So just giving benefit of the doubt, anyone who heard that I ride for tipping should have automatically assumed that that's the place I'm coming from within my heart. But the, the reality of the situation is we live in a society, period, where we have to tip, period. Because people are not paid a living wage. We don't have health insurance, et cetera, and what have you. Personally, as a socialist, as a full-time socialist, part-time capitalist, I believe the best way to redistribute money is to overtip service workers.

• 21:16Benito Skinner?

And that counts as Postmates too?

• 21:18Mary Beth Barone?

  It counts for Postmates.

• 21:20Benito Skinner?

And I see what you're doing for your Ubers at the end. Not you, but you others.

• 21:25Mary Beth Barone?

  You're not tipping.

• 21:26Benito Skinner?

  I'm watching.

• 21:27Mary Beth Barone?

What I've been doing that's fun is when I have cash, I tip Ubers in cash because then the app doesn't even have to know about it.

• 21:32Benito Skinner?

Sometimes with with waiters, when they pass the little electron, I I look them right in the eye as I go, not 20, 25.

• 21:39Mary Beth Barone?

  25.

• 21:39Benito Skinner?

  25. I go, look at me while I do this because you earned it.

• 21:42Mary Beth Barone?

You earned it. Here's the math that I do in my head, the girl math.

• 21:45Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 21:46Mary Beth Barone?

It's maybe a difference of $4 to me, but what a difference that makes to the person. It's just a percentage, right? Like on a big dinner, that can be a bigger amount, obviously, because that's a percentage of work I didn't forget. But I just feel like overtipping, it's such a powerful way to say thank you, to acknowledge the work that's being done and to redistribute money. Like, I feel really lucky and privileged that I can dine out at restaurants and do things where there's a support staff of people to make that experience wonderful. Obviously, if someone's like, you know, rude to me, or I didn't have a great experience, I'm still tipping 20%. I don't go below 20.

• 22:23Benito Skinner?

You are so iconic. I've watched Mary Beth call someone out on how little they tip. Do you remember my friend?

• 22:28Mary Beth Barone?

  I remember.

• 22:29Benito Skinner?

It was shocking. He, this one, this one straight man tips a little too low. And Mary Beth was like, oh, no, fix that. It was incredible.

• 22:38Mary Beth Barone?

  I said, fix that.

• 22:39Benito Skinner?

You said, I know what your dad does.

• 22:40Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 22:41Benito Skinner?

  So funny.

• 22:42Mary Beth Barone?

  You have to fix that.

• 22:43Benito Skinner?

I loved it. No, it was amazing. I was so mad, though. This one, there was, I think I talked about this, maybe in Ride, but if not, I'm but that someone tweeted as a joke that I don't tip well. And I was like, don't ever fucking joke about that shit. I will laugh at anything else.

• 22:58Mary Beth Barone?

  It's not funny.

• 22:59Benito Skinner?

Literally, I will laugh at anything else.

• 23:00Mary Beth Barone?

How would people know that's a joke?

• 23:02Benito Skinner?

Exactly. They're like, huh, I just was saying that. I was like, don't spread that. Don't, that is, uh-uh.

• 23:08Mary Beth Barone?

  That gets me distraught.

• 23:09Benito Skinner?

Sick to my stomach. I I completely agree with everything you're saying. I I do want to know what I should do in cafes. I just do it. If it's like a Starbucks or something, where's that money going to?

• 23:21Mary Beth Barone?

  I don't know.

• 23:22Benito Skinner?

Sometimes the tips with that, I'm like, wait, but is this going straight to you? Like, I don't, I can't.

• 23:26Mary Beth Barone?

I don't know. I would hope that the tips are going to the people that earned the tips. And I do want to say, of course, because if you can't afford to overtip, I'm not saying you're a bad person.

• 23:35Benito Skinner?

We're saying if you can do it.

• 23:36Mary Beth Barone?

If you can do, you should do.

• 23:38Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 23:38Mary Beth Barone?

So somebody DM me saying that they could never get invisalign because their teeth aren't just crooked. They're also like damaged or something. So they would need to get veneers. And they said it was really fucked up that we said that people shouldn't get veneers. I wasn't talking about you.

• 23:52Benito Skinner?

We're not talking about you. No, I'm talking about a real estate agent in LA.

• 23:56Mary Beth Barone?

  Use your head.

• 23:56Benito Skinner?

  Knock it off.

• 23:57Mary Beth Barone?

Use your head, please. I beg you. Just assume we're not talking about you. When I see a straight man not giving a 20% tip, that's really alarming to me. And I think it's interesting for people from other countries, maybe because their countries have like a standard of living.

• 24:12Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 24:13Mary Beth Barone?

They think like, oh, 18 is the base, 20 is for good service, 25, it's if you get like a rim job or something. But to me, it's like, we need to be pumping money into the economy. I like to support the people that support me in my day. They keep this country running.

• 24:29Benito Skinner?

Even if they're mean to you.

• 24:30Mary Beth Barone?

Even if they're mean to me. And that's the best way to stick it to them. Oh, you're mean to me? Here's a 25% tip.

• 24:36Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 24:37Mary Beth Barone?

  Have a good day.

• 24:38Benito Skinner?

  You thought you knew me.

• 24:39Mary Beth Barone?

  Kill them with kindness.

• 24:41Benito Skinner?

You think you know me, but you have no idea.

• 24:44Mary Beth Barone?

Someone commented on Reddit saying that the Venn diagram that's a circle is cocktail names and NARS makeup names.

• 24:50Benito Skinner?

Oh my god, it's so true. Both crass as hell.

• 24:53Mary Beth Barone?

  So crass.

• 24:54Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 24:55Mary Beth Barone?

Come on my tits. Hi, can I have two come on my tits and one unpapped?

• 25:00Benito Skinner?

And it's a Sprite and vodka.

• 25:01Mary Beth Barone?

It's Sprite and vodka. That actually makes a lot of sense.

• 25:03Benito Skinner?

  Shit, that fucking tastes.

• 25:04Mary Beth Barone?

Shit, that's kind of cool, dude.

• 25:05Benito Skinner?

I can't drink vodka. It makes me depressed.

• 25:07Mary Beth Barone?

It makes me have weird stuff happen with my stomach.

• 25:10Benito Skinner?

Oh, bartenders, you better be tipping. Cause, oh my god, what a, what a fucking hard job. They're working so goddamn hard. But I will say bartenders, make a little bit more eye contact with me, okay? I'm right here.

• 25:20Mary Beth Barone?

I love when I see a female bartender wearing kneepads and elbow pads. And if she's ignoring me, even better.

• 25:25Benito Skinner?

  Nothing better.

• 25:26Mary Beth Barone?

Please don't look, no, to me, I say, don't look at me.

• 25:28Benito Skinner?

I don't even want the drink. I don't even like alcohol that much.

• 25:31Mary Beth Barone?

You should tip on water. I know it's annoying, but like you just should. A dollar here, a dollar there, whatever.

• 25:36Benito Skinner?

  A dollar everywhere. Yeah.

• 25:38Mary Beth Barone?

I just feel like tipping, it's an important part of our economy. Maybe one day it won't be. I think Danny Meyer, for a while, at his restaurant store, is gonna just pay people more and not have tipping, but I don't know.

• 25:47Benito Skinner?

  Sugarfish does.

• 25:48Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, that's good.

• 25:49Benito Skinner?

  I believe.

• 25:50Mary Beth Barone?

That went the way of the clog, as Blair Waldorf said. One of my favorite quotes.

• 25:54Benito Skinner?

That is so. It's expert level writing. Like they, oh God.

• 26:00Mary Beth Barone?

  She's incredible.

• 26:01Benito Skinner?

I would die to write for Blair Waldorf.

• 26:03Mary Beth Barone?

  Speaking of couture.

• 26:05Benito Skinner?

Speaking of way of the clock.

• 26:10Benito Skinner?

Guess where I got these shoes? Grailed. Grailed.

• 26:13Mary Beth Barone?

  You did?

• 26:14Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I got them on Grailed.

• 26:15Mary Beth Barone?

  Whoa.

• 26:15Benito Skinner?

So Grailed, Grailed is this streetwear resale site.

• 26:21Mary Beth Barone?

  It's a marketplace.

• 26:22Benito Skinner?

  It's a marketplace.

• 26:23Mary Beth Barone?

And I was just waiting to say that.

• 26:24Benito Skinner?

Come on, baby. Take me to the marketplace. So you could definitely get a few Rimawas. I should have purchased a Rimowa on Grailed. I would have gotten a discount.

• 26:32Mary Beth Barone?

I love buying things that are pre-owned, pre-loved, and still in excellent condition.

• 26:37Benito Skinner?

So I'm not sure if you guys know this or not, but I am a Grailed warlord. I'm a different person on Grailed. Terry says this all the time. He goes, I can't believe you live this. He goes, you live a double life. You have another family.

• 26:48Mary Beth Barone?

  You do.

• 26:49Benito Skinner?

Based on how you act on Grailed. So Grailed, I've sold things on it, but it's mostly for like usually men's, but I think they have women's now. But the women's is called Heroin, I believe.

• 26:59Mary Beth Barone?

  Interesting.

• 27:00Benito Skinner?

  Yeah.

• 27:02Benito Skinner?

I think, I don't know if it still exists, but.

• 27:04Mary Beth Barone?

It's called, it's crystal meth dot com.

• 27:06Benito Skinner?

It's mostly men's. It's mostly menswear, but what even is menswear anymore?

• 27:11Mary Beth Barone?

Well, now it's like you maybe want an oversized jacket. So you could just go on Grailed if you're a tiny little girl.

• 27:16Benito Skinner?

But it is so fabulous. So you can list things and then you can do this thing where you're, you're selling kind of a hype item. You can buy vintage, you can buy.

• 27:25Mary Beth Barone?

  Current season.

• 27:26Benito Skinner?

Current season. If something sold out quickly, like I really wanted these New Balances and they sold out quickly and I found them on Grailed and they were a little bit more expensive, but I went back and forth with the seller and that's where I'm a warlord.

• 27:36Mary Beth Barone?

  Totally.

• 27:36Benito Skinner?

I'm like, I know you're gouging me. I know you're making a profit on these. Don't fuck me. And I say that to them all the time. I'm like, dude, I'm not.

• 27:43Mary Beth Barone?

Don't fuck, don't ass fuck me right now.

• 27:45Benito Skinner?

No, don't ass fuck me right now, dude. And if you're low balling me on Grailed, don't sleep with one eye open.

• 27:50Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 27:51Benito Skinner?

You'll wake up to a horse head, dude.

• 27:52Mary Beth Barone?

Well, you just declined the offer.

• 27:53Benito Skinner?

  Godfather reference.

• 27:54Mary Beth Barone?

  Hello.

• 27:55Benito Skinner?

When I'm on, when I'm on Grailed, it's Godfather reference. I'm, I, I'm a warlord. I, I play by my own rules. You're not gonna, you're not gonna fuck me. You're not gonna play me. I'm gonna pay exactly what I should for that item and I will offer back and forth.

• 28:10Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, well, it's very, is this slow viscosity rayon? With a half loop top stitching on the hem? And-

• 28:15Benito Skinner?

If you're trying to sell to me for full price, you picked the wrong girl.

• 28:18Mary Beth Barone?

  You picked the wrong girl.

• 28:19Benito Skinner?

People are doing that to you now that you're blonde.

• 28:20Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, I know.

• 28:21Benito Skinner?

Also, you'll get more Christmas presents this year because you're blonde.

• 28:23Mary Beth Barone?

I'm sure I will. People don't realize that, you know, I look like a blonde, but I have the brain of a brunette. So try, just come for me.

• 28:30Benito Skinner?

  They really don't realize.

• 28:31Mary Beth Barone?

  I really fucking dare you.

• 28:32Benito Skinner?

And they think I'm just a little internet bimbo, but oh, sister.

• 28:35Mary Beth Barone?

And I say, say hello to my little friend.

• 28:37Benito Skinner?

  Exactly.

• 28:38Mary Beth Barone?

Never seen the film. But I think it's good to know like what you're getting. And you have such a literacy when it comes to fashion that I would trust you to price almost any item.

• 28:48Benito Skinner?

Dear media, if you don't clip that.

• 28:51Mary Beth Barone?

Then I don't know you at all.

• 28:52Benito Skinner?

  I'm coming for you.

• 28:53Mary Beth Barone?

I don't know you at all.

• 28:54Benito Skinner?

Then, uh, Santa's not going to be coming down your chimney.

• 28:58Mary Beth Barone?

  Uh-uh.

• 28:59Benito Skinner?

Long after the dinosaurs, long after even us, there will be one thing left, and that's AG1. So staying motivated and eating healthy during the holidays is a challenge, okay? And I know some of you, it can be really hard. You're traveling. Here's what I love about the little travel packs. I've been having those while on my trips. My skin is glowing and I feel fabulous. Oh, yeah. So here's the thing. This new year, try AG1 for yourself. Or you could also like gift it to someone. This could be a really cute like stocking stuffer. You know what I mean? Like very chic. It looks nice on your kitchen counter in the cabinet. Terry likes all things in cabinets. I don't know, it's like a whole thing. But it's the perfect time to start a healthy new habit. The new year. New year, new you.

• 29:43Benito Skinner?

Just kidding, you're perfect the way you are. I don't need a new you, but maybe you'll be taking AG1, so that's cool. And that's why I've been partnering with AG1 for so long. Just me, I mean, Mary Beth does too, but it's definitely coming from me in a huge way. And AG1 is offering new subscribers a free $76 gift when you sign up. $76, that's actually, it's so funny. That's the exact cap on every gift I buy this year. $76, no more, no less. You'll get a welcome kit, a bottle of D3K2, and five free travel packs in your first box. So make sure to check out drinkag1.com/ridepod to get this offer.

• 30:24Benito Skinner?

That's drinkag1.com/ridepod to start your new year on a healthier note. And remember to leave out AG1 and cookies for Santa. Thank you.

• 30:37Mary Beth Barone?

We're talking more about gift giving. It's December, tis the season. Isn't it great when you can get someone a gift they wouldn't necessarily get for themselves? That little bit of luxury that they don't know they're missing. For quality gifts at an affordable price, my go-to is Quince. Quince lets you treat your loved ones and yourself to everyday luxury at an affordable price. Also, sorry, I know that these ads aren't like so fun and deranged as they usually are. I'm really hungry and cold. Something everyone needs in their closet, in my opinion, is Quince's iconic Mongolian cashmere sweater, which starts at $50. And they have multiple styles, of course they do. Or for the ultimate year-round gifts, check out their 14-karat gold jewelry, Italian leather handbags, and European linen sheet sets.

• 31:22Mary Beth Barone?

Whatever you're looking for, all Quince items are priced 50 to 80% less than similar brands. They do this by partnering directly with top factories and cutting out the cost of the middleman. I hate the middleman, he's so costly. And then they pass on the savings to you. Quince is on the nice list. They only work with factories that use safe, ethical, and responsible manufacturing practices. As you know, I have a fabulous black bodysuit from Quince that I layer in the winter because it is so goddamn cold. And I have my 14-karat gold hoop earrings. Gift luxury this holiday season without the luxury price tag. Go to quince.com/ride for 365-day returns plus free shipping on your order. That's Q-U-I-N-C-E.com/ride to get free shipping and 365-day returns.

• 32:07Mary Beth Barone?

  Quince.com/ride. I'm gonna do a cough now.

• 32:11Benito Skinner?

This episode is brought to you by NoCD, live from my closet. Lot of intrusive thoughts have happened in the closet for me. Okay, so picture this. You're going about your day when suddenly a horrifying thought flashes through your mind. Maybe it's a fear of something happening to a loved one, a disturbing or sexual image that keeps replaying in your mind, or an urge to do something you don't want to do. I think I said this on the pod, but mine sometimes is like when I'm with someone at a dinner, my intrusive thought is just taking my drink and splashing it in their face. And I just did something really good, I laughed at it, because I would never do that. Remember, intrusive thoughts are ego dystonic, and that's something I learned with my NoCD therapist. Okay, so let me tell you about NoCD.

• 32:51Benito Skinner?

Unlike general therapy providers, every NoCD therapist specializes in OCD, so they deeply understand intrusive thoughts. That means no matter how disturbing, taboo, or shameful you think something is, your therapy says Sessions are a safe space to be open about it. Using exposure and response prevention therapy, the most proven OCD treatment, your NoCD therapist can help you take the power away from OCD and distressing thoughts in live, face-to-face video therapy sessions. I don't know, I personally like doing Zoom calls for these things because I just like, I cannot be bothered to get in a car all day, especially in LA. It's like a whole thing. Okay, whatever. So NoCD also accepts many major insurance plans and offers always-on support between sessions.

• 33:35Benito Skinner?

You can also like message your therapist. It's fabulous. So to learn more about therapy with NoCD, go to nocd.com and schedule a free 15-minute call with their team. That's nocd.com to learn more. So here's the thing, Grailed, it's also just a great place because I think it is a, it's a culture, the term grail, which I love, is like something that you've always wanted. As, as far as I know, like the, a Grailed item is like, I've always wanted this one Prada shirt.

• 34:06Mary Beth Barone?

Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

• 34:09Benito Skinner?

Can I talk about what you did for me?

• 34:10Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 34:11Benito Skinner?

There are a few Graileds in my life. One is this Prada shirt that has like Cleopatra on it. And I'll get it at some point. I haven't earned it yet. And it was this Jean-Paul Gaultier muscle shirt that Robin Williams had worn. And I was following it so long and it was on my Graileds. You can heart the things you love and kind of keep an eye on them. And if you heart them, they'll alert you if the price goes down or if you want to like contact the seller. I mean, it's, it's, I will say the tech of this whole site is just fabulous and they don't try to do too much. They have like picks of the week, which are really fun. They have picks for you and you can get vintage. It's just, it's fabulous.

• 34:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Show me what I want.

• 34:47Benito Skinner?

My best friend for rap of overcompensating got me one of my Graileds. Did you get on Grailed?

• 34:52Mary Beth Barone?

  I did.

• 34:53Benito Skinner?

  Like, that's incredible.

• 34:53Mary Beth Barone?

I was just so happy it was still available. I was so nervous I was gonna go to the, I was gonna Google it, Robin Williams JPG button down. And I was gonna say that it wasn't available. I also was so scared it wasn't gonna fit you because you turned into the Incredible Hulk over the summer. But I emailed the costume designer and I said, do you have Benny's measurements?

• 35:11Benito Skinner?

  And it's incredible.

• 35:12Mary Beth Barone?

  Thank God it worked out.

• 35:14Benito Skinner?

  It's sex on us.

• 35:14Mary Beth Barone?

  It's so.

• 35:15Benito Skinner?

Check my lot. I don't want it yet. I can't wait for its debut.

• 35:17Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, it's so fun. It's cool to have a level of intimacy with someone where you know their grails.

• 35:22Benito Skinner?

If you know their grails, like, and I know one of yours and I've been eyeing it for Christmas.

• 35:26Mary Beth Barone?

  No way.

• 35:27Benito Skinner?

Yes, way. Oh, what, you think I'm lying?

• 35:30Mary Beth Barone?

I can't think of what it is.

• 35:31Benito Skinner?

I told you, I'm a fucking warlord on there. I'm on there because they've added more women so I can kind of keep my eye. And also, women's is sometimes a little bit cheaper than it would be on another site because it's like some people listing it.

• 35:41Mary Beth Barone?

  Here's what's interesting.

• 35:42Benito Skinner?

They don't know you can gouge women.

• 35:44Mary Beth Barone?

If you're going to be buying on one of these websites, make sure it's a website that does authentication.

• 35:49Benito Skinner?

They do authentication, which is amazing. And they also, I just think, right now, it's about personal style. It's about the things you love. It's about hearting things that mean the world to you.

• 35:58Mary Beth Barone?

And it's about statement pieces that are rare that you won't find anywhere else. And that's why when I saw the grails.

• 36:03Benito Skinner?

  Less consumerism.

• 36:03Mary Beth Barone?

Less consumerism, also pre-owned, better for the environment. When I saw that that shirt was still available, I just thought I'd be a fool to not buy this right now.

• 36:10Benito Skinner?

  And you would have been.

• 36:10Mary Beth Barone?

  I'd be a fool.

• 36:11Benito Skinner?

And you would have been. You made me a fool.

• 36:13Mary Beth Barone?

And giving a gift off-season. And I really loved just being able to find something for you that I knew you wanted, that, like, it's just one of one.

• 36:22Benito Skinner?

It really is. And it's just, it's, I'm gonna have it for the rest of my life. And I just think Graild is a great place. I will say shipping can be anything on Graild because it could ship from anywhere.

• 36:30Mary Beth Barone?

It could ship from Russia. It could ship from China. It could ship from the Yukon. Ultimately, it could ship from the moon. I don't know where these things are coming from.

• 36:37Benito Skinner?

  From the Virgin Galactic.

• 36:38Mary Beth Barone?

It could take two days. It could take two years. Worth the wait. Regardless.

• 36:42Benito Skinner?

I would say if you buy something on Graild, don't move for six months.

• 36:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Six to 12 months.

• 36:46Benito Skinner?

But sometimes it's there in like two days. It's not a ton of judgment, but I'm just saying, Graild, it might be tricky for Christmas present, but I would say gift off-season. That's, that's a great ride.

• 36:55Mary Beth Barone?

Buy it when it's up and hope it comes in time for the, for the gift-giving season, if that's your style.

• 36:59Benito Skinner?

I got you the Black Parade shirt on it. Wink, wink.

• 37:02Mary Beth Barone?

  That was from Graild?

• 37:04Benito Skinner?

Yeah, if there's ever something I would say, do this for me today on Papa, just go to Graild. And if there's something that you remember from like spring, summer, 16 Prada, you can type it in and they might have it. And every day I type in, well, I have my alerts.

• 37:20Mary Beth Barone?

  Totally.

• 37:21Benito Skinner?

One is Marilyn Dries Van Noten, because there's this Marilyn Monroe shirt by Dries that I missed out on. And I just, I think about it all the time.

• 37:27Mary Beth Barone?

  Aye.

• 37:28Benito Skinner?

  I go so cold.

• 37:30Mary Beth Barone?

When she wrote, I think about it all the time, that was about a Grail that she could have bought, but she didn't.

• 37:34Benito Skinner?

Yeah, she's in the bathroom thinking about it.

• 37:35Mary Beth Barone?

It's not about having a baby.

• 37:36Benito Skinner?

  She goes, my outfit sucks.

• 37:38Mary Beth Barone?

  Aye.

• 37:38Benito Skinner?

I should have had a Jador Dior shirt on right now.

• 37:41Mary Beth Barone?

That is, I found a Jador Dior tank on Etsy, but it wasn't authenticated. So I was like, I'm not going to buy it.

• 37:47Benito Skinner?

  Don't.

• 37:47Mary Beth Barone?

I have some regret because I do think it was real and I wish I owned it. I wish I had it in my closet, in my arsenal. It's not a closet, it's an arsenal and your clothes are weapons.

• 37:55Benito Skinner?

And yes, she's talking about the Carla Santini Jador Dior shirt that make him Fox war in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. I don't know if I'm okay to say, is it misogynistic for me to say Lindsay Lohan looks really fucking good? What do I do with that?

• 38:10Mary Beth Barone?

  Here's the thing.

• 38:11Benito Skinner?

Because that's all I'm going to say right now.

• 38:13Mary Beth Barone?

I have been tracking her movements.

• 38:15Benito Skinner?

  Only good.

• 38:16Mary Beth Barone?

I saw she's been doing some late night shows.

• 38:18Benito Skinner?

  Wow.

• 38:19Mary Beth Barone?

  I.

• 38:20Benito Skinner?

I am so happy for her.

• 38:21Mary Beth Barone?

Holy shit. It doesn't, it's, it's like giving like rebirth.

• 38:25Benito Skinner?

It's definitely giving, it's the substance rebirth.

• 38:28Mary Beth Barone?

  It's.

• 38:28Benito Skinner?

It's not that she looked, she didn't.

• 38:30Mary Beth Barone?

  No.

• 38:31Benito Skinner?

  But I just am like.

• 38:32Mary Beth Barone?

  She looks younger.

• 38:32Benito Skinner?

I mean, it's just, she looks phenomenal and she's killing it. And I feel like to go through everything that she did and a whole of that public, like that was insane.

• 38:40Mary Beth Barone?

  We're happy for her.

• 38:41Benito Skinner?

I'm so happy for her. And I love these Netflix Christmas movies.

• 38:45Mary Beth Barone?

  Christmas miracle.

• 38:46Benito Skinner?

God, they need a Christmas, they need one of those movies with you and me.

• 38:50Mary Beth Barone?

We should write like a Hallmark style movie for us too, where you play straight and I play straight.

• 38:55Benito Skinner?

Done. Well, shit, that sounds like a hit.

• 38:57Mary Beth Barone?

But we have gay sex in it. Does that make sense?

• 39:01Benito Skinner?

Well, that's us having sex is gay sex. Do you get that?

• 39:05Mary Beth Barone?

  I do.

• 39:05Benito Skinner?

And dear media, now if you don't click that.

• 39:08Mary Beth Barone?

And I don't fucking know you at all.

• 39:11Benito Skinner?

I'll send you my favorites on Grail so you guys can see which ones you want to get daddy for Christmas. It's also fun to share your Grails with people.

• 39:17Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, oh, can I say one thing? Buying on Grail, you're taking a leap of faith. Okay, and that's from Interstellar.

• 39:24Benito Skinner?

  Yeah, it might not fit.

• 39:25Mary Beth Barone?

It's a leap of faith. It might not fit. It might come and look a little bit different.

• 39:29Benito Skinner?

But Grail offers this fabulous, unpaid, offers this fabulous.

• 39:33Mary Beth Barone?

  Goes without saying.

• 39:34Benito Skinner?

Goes without saying, not a dollar. Fabulous service. If you get it and it doesn't fit, they will list it for you on your account.

• 39:39Mary Beth Barone?

  Oh, that's right.

• 39:40Benito Skinner?

You can list it and sell it.

• 39:41Mary Beth Barone?

I got a Versace dress, the black one, that every time I wear it and post, people are like, where is this dress from? That's from Grail. I also got this Khloe bracelet that's a skeleton. It's like a gold skeleton. And it's just so me. Like, sometimes you'll find pieces on there that you didn't even know you were looking for, but you think to yourself, like, I have to own that because no one else should. But it's a leap of faith. And I will say, straight men don't have that instinct to take a leap of faith. Like, they need, as we've said, they try it on a thousand times, they need to hem and haw about it. Sometimes you have to have a trigger finger. You say, purchase, just like, add to cart. I'm not going to haggle with this person. It's priced reasonably and I'm going to buy it right now.

• 40:15Benito Skinner?

I see it. I like it. I want it. I got it.

• 40:19Mary Beth Barone?

Let's get into ride or die. You know what you are, Benny?

• 40:22Benito Skinner?

  Hmm, I [BLEEP].

• 40:24Mary Beth Barone?

Your words, not mine. Babe, you're my ride or die.

• 40:27Benito Skinner?

Ride or die. I die for tipping.

• 40:32Mary Beth Barone?

  Imagine.

• 40:33Benito Skinner?

Yeah, I just don't get it.

• 40:35Mary Beth Barone?

That tweet was right about you.

• 40:36Benito Skinner?

I think tipping's fabulous. I think during the holidays, do it as much as you can. I say, if you can, tip. Those who can, tip. And during the holidays, what a great time to give a little back.

• 40:48Mary Beth Barone?

  Spread joy in holiday cheer.

• 40:50Benito Skinner?

  Spread joy.

• 40:50Mary Beth Barone?

Santa's got a brand new bag.

• 40:52Benito Skinner?

Call me on my radio. I, yeah, I just think it's fabulous. I know sometimes people like to complain about the math.

• 41:00Mary Beth Barone?

  Not hard.

• 41:01Benito Skinner?

People's, so here's the thing. People like to find an excuse within the math. Move the decimal, times two.

• 41:06Mary Beth Barone?

  Times two.

• 41:07Benito Skinner?

And then you can go up from there if you want to.

• 41:08Mary Beth Barone?

If I'm blonde and I can do it, then you have no fucking excuse. Also, we all have calculators in our pockets. It's called an iPhone. And as much as your iPhone maybe doesn't work, I know that calculator's working.

• 41:18Benito Skinner?

You could make a movie on your iPhone right now.

• 41:20Mary Beth Barone?

Maybe I could. Maybe I have been this whole time.

• 41:23Benito Skinner?

  Tip below. Tip. Send tips.

• 41:26Mary Beth Barone?

  Send tips.

• 41:27Benito Skinner?

Send tips. Send tips this holiday season. Of course I ride for tipping. I can't imagine if I would die for it. And anyone who does die for it, I'm not getting dinner with you.

• 41:34Mary Beth Barone?

I know, let's needless to say, I know who you voted for.

• 41:36Benito Skinner?

  You're embarrassing me.

• 41:37Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah. And you're embarrassing yourself and your family.

• 41:39Benito Skinner?

Mostly yourself. But, you know, I feel that too.

• 41:41Mary Beth Barone?

  And potentially your wife even.

• 41:43Benito Skinner?

  Definitely your wife.

• 41:44Mary Beth Barone?

Also, like, who are you as a straight man to judge what's hospitality? No one asked you. Just, just defer to your wife. When in doubt, defer to the person or a gay guy. Also, there are so many women and gay men in the service industry and it's like, we need to support them. We need to uplift them. They probably have a GoFundMe for like a life-saving surgery that they need. Let's just tip them five dollars instead of three.

• 42:06Benito Skinner?

To me, that's a part of my army.

• 42:08Mary Beth Barone?

  Me too.

• 42:09Benito Skinner?

So, take care of my babies, because, and we're doing our best to take care of our babies. Let's tip this holiday season.

• 42:14Mary Beth Barone?

We are. Graild is, what an amazing outlet. Oh my god. It's an outlet for your creative desires. It's feeding the soul.

• 42:23Benito Skinner?

It is, and it's my private space to have conversations.

• 42:25Mary Beth Barone?

  It's your own private Idaho.

• 42:27Benito Skinner?

Exact, no, exactly. Oh, I would love to get a T-shirt. Like, I, see this? I'm thinking a vintage shirt that said my own private Idaho. I'm sure I can look that up and get one. Because I thought, I need to get you a 2005 Black Parade T-shirt and they had it.

• 42:39Mary Beth Barone?

  And you found it.

• 42:40Benito Skinner?

Yeah, and I said, well, it has to be a small baby tee.

• 42:42Mary Beth Barone?

My little gray skirt I got at Reformation.

• 42:46Mary Beth Barone?

It's sort of like Pinterest in a way. It's like, it's technically, it could be considered a social media because you like have an account on there. And like, you have like a little like profile, previously sold, what they've purchased, your likes, blah, blah, blah. It's like, it's a peaceful place online where no one's leaving mean comments. It's just like, I go on there and I look at all the beauty in the world. What, what did he say? He say, in American Beauty, "It's hard to stay mad when there's so much beauty in the world." That was my senior yearbook quote.

• 43:12Benito Skinner?

  American woman!

• 43:14Mary Beth Barone?

  Get away from me!

• 43:15Benito Skinner?

That would be good in my medley next year.

• 43:17Mary Beth Barone?

  Yeah.

• 43:17Benito Skinner?

  American woman!

• 43:19Mary Beth Barone?

See, your mind works in such beautiful ways.

• 43:21Benito Skinner?

Thank you, sweetie, and I get to get a lot of my aggression out on Grailed. But I love it. I just think it's amazing. If you find me on there, like, no, you didn't.

• 43:30Mary Beth Barone?

Some people take a boxing class, Benny Drama, he haggles on Grailed.

• 43:33Benito Skinner?

Oh, did I not tell you? I'm taking an MMA class. Welcome to Trump's America. If any of you try to come for my girls or me, I'm built like a brick shithouse lately. I swear to God, I'm ready to throw hands. Like, I'm back to my anger management, playing soccer, ketchup and mustard style. Like, I'm about to go to the floor. I'm like, I want my girls to feel strong.

• 43:52Mary Beth Barone?

You pick stuff out for me, and you'll email brands and you'll get it sent to me. A lot of people don't realize that.

• 43:57Benito Skinner?

I'm really glad that's on record.

• 44:00Mary Beth Barone?

Dear media clip that, belatable much?

• 44:03Benito Skinner?

Merry Christmas, I'll say it to you again. Merry Quiz Mois.

• 44:05Mary Beth Barone?

  Merry Quiz Mois.

• 44:06Benito Skinner?

I'll say it to you again next week.

• 44:07Mary Beth Barone?

And happy holidays! So it's this, we're getting into the holiday season, it's December. We have one more episode before the end of the year. Who knows what we're gonna be writing for? I do. I'm not gonna tell you.

• 44:19Benito Skinner?

  I do.

• 44:20Mary Beth Barone?

And we'll see you, I would say, definitely catch up with Cousins over the break, but relisten to your favorite episodes. I don't know, Kay.

• 44:26Benito Skinner?

I think, yeah, maybe we'll release the hits. Let us know what your heritage episodes were this year.

• 44:30Mary Beth Barone?

Oh, we're gonna find out Spotify rap season is coming.

• 44:33Benito Skinner?

  Oh, my God!

• 44:35Mary Beth Barone?

  So we're gonna find out.

• 44:36Benito Skinner?

  I, the way brat, I can't, they're gonna go-

• 44:39Mary Beth Barone?

  I'm actually scared.

• 44:40Benito Skinner?

They're gonna go, hey freak, chill.

• 44:41Mary Beth Barone?

Yeah, I'm a little scared for that. It's gonna be very telling, very eye-opening, and very intimate.

• 44:46Benito Skinner?

  Very Charlie, very Sabrina.

• 44:48Mary Beth Barone?

Thank you, guys, we love you.

• 44:50Benito Skinner?

  Merry Quiz Mois.

• 44:50Mary Beth Barone?

  Merry Great Moi.

• 44:53Benito Skinner?

  Oh, my exit.

• 44:54Mary Beth Barone?

Benny, babe, eyes on the road.

• 44:57Mary Beth Barone?

  Benny, go!

• 45:06Speaker 04
