• 1:00Brooke Averick?

  Do you not like mayo?

• 1:03Connor Wood?

  The thing about mayo...

• 1:05Brooke Averick?

You like it when you don't know it's there.

• 1:06Connor Wood?

Mm-hmm. Don't tell me you're gonna put it on.

• 1:09Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:09Connor Wood?

And don't ask me if I want it.

• 1:12Brooke Averick?

Just put it there. I'm getting to the point where I would like eat it plain.

• 1:16Connor Wood?

You would scoop mayo into your...

• 1:17Brooke Averick?

  It's getting to that point.

• 1:20Connor Wood?

What do you mean? What got you to the point where you need to have a just straight mayo?

• 1:24Brooke Averick?

I think when I started using it as a dipping sauce. Then I became like very comfortable with it and it became my favorite dipping sauce. And now I'm just like so comfortable with it.

• 1:33Connor Wood?

Well, it's a slippery slope from aioli to straight mayo, by the way.

• 1:37Brooke Averick?

It's such a fine line. And once you cross it, like you can't come back.

• 1:42Connor Wood?

It's easy to lose yourself in the aioli game.

• 1:44Brooke Averick?

I almost prefer just straight mayo to an aioli because it doesn't leave that like garlicky taste in your mouth.

• 1:50Connor Wood?

  I guess aioli...

• 1:51Brooke Averick?

It's just mayo with like garlic.

• 1:56Connor Wood?

The fact that half my sandwich is sitting here just balancing in a balancing act. It's right here. Do you see that?

• 2:01Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 2:03Connor Wood?

Just sitting there balancing. No. The thing is, you notice when a sandwich doesn't have mayo on it because you're choking to half to death.

• 2:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 2:11Connor Wood?

You're choking halfway to hell. And you say, there's something that is missing. I'm not gonna say it.

• 2:17Brooke Averick?

Did we start the episode to talk about mayo? Or no? Okay.

• 2:23Connor Wood?

Oh, I thought we were, I thought it was the episode.

• 2:25Brooke Averick?

  Oh my, no.

• 2:27Connor Wood?

  Oh, fuck.

• 2:49Connor Wood?

Okay, we have a special guest here today.

• 2:52Brooke Averick?

  Who? Who?

• 2:53Connor Wood?

So, right now, I'm gonna, I'm gonna say hello to everyone from Brooke, as well as Connor. I wanna say hello. Um, I have a young man here today.

• 3:03Brooke Averick?

  Let me guess.

• 3:04Connor Wood?

Talk about, okay, keep, start guessing.

• 3:06Brooke Averick?

I guessed Hunter, and it's not Hunter, but is it one of your friends?

• 3:10Connor Wood?

It's one of our friends, our shared, our shared amigo.

• 3:13Brooke Averick?

  It's, it's not Jack M., is it?

• 3:16Connor Wood?

No. Oh my gosh, that will be a good surprise when I do that.

• 3:19Brooke Averick?

It's one of our shared friends.

• 3:21Connor Wood?

Yes, this young man is, is visiting here, and he is boarding a plane in about, he's about an hour out.

• 3:30Brooke Averick?

  He's a visitor?

• 3:32Connor Wood?

  And he's a visitor.

• 3:33Brooke Averick?

Does he, is he based in Los Angeles?

• 3:36Connor Wood?

  Not at all. Ew.

• 3:38Brooke Averick?

  How do we know him?

• 3:40Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh, it's impossible to say.

• 3:42Brooke Averick?

Is he based in like, Orange County?

• 3:46Connor Wood?

In a way, but not at all as well, too, also.

• 3:50Brooke Averick?

Is it like, a family member of yours?

• 3:52Connor Wood?

  No, god!

• 3:54Brooke Averick?

  Stop looking at him!

• 3:55Connor Wood?

He's chosen, I mean, he's so tall, he's hard to miss, he's so handsome.

• 3:58Brooke Averick?

  He's so tall?

• 3:59Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 4:02Connor Wood?

  Come on, Brooklyn.

• 4:06Connor Wood?

  You know, you know that-

• 4:07Brooke Averick?

I'm very ner- I'm getting very nervous.

• 4:09Connor Wood?

Let's just say he has three first names.

• 4:13Brooke Averick?

  John Jacob Jingle?

• 4:15Connor Wood?

His name is my name too, by the way. But no.

• 4:19Brooke Averick?

  His name's also Connor?

• 4:21Connor Wood?

No, I'm gonna, I'm just gonna squeeze him in really quick.

• 4:23Brooke Averick?

  Oh, I wanna guess!

• 4:25Connor Wood?

  Okay, keep guessing, but while-

• 4:26Brooke Averick?

No, just show me him. Show me the, show me the man.

• 4:31Connor Wood?

I almost forgot this is the whole point, hang on.

• 4:33Brooke Averick?

Please make sure you're talking into the microphone.

• 4:36Connor Wood?

Well, as, as I'm, as I'm, as I shift my set over here. Let me just see.

• 4:41Brooke Averick?

I'm getting, I'm like so nervous.

• 4:42Connor Wood?

While I'm shifting the set, what if it was Obama?

• 4:46Brooke Averick?

  It's not Matthew, is it?

• 4:48Connor Wood?

  No. Look, like...

• 4:53Connor Wood?

  Oh my god.

• 4:53Brooke Averick?

Wait, I wanna talk about him, but we can do that later.

• 4:56Connor Wood?

We totally can. Woo! While I, uh, shift my set over, I do wanna flag my neighbor that emailed me about the noise complaint.

• 5:06Connor Wood?

Did I talk about that on here?

• 5:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 5:08Connor Wood?

So I got the noise complaint-

• 5:09Brooke Averick?

I don't know if it was in the bonus or not, though.

• 5:11Connor Wood?

Well, I got a noise complaint. Um-

• 5:14Brooke Averick?

  Talking to the mic, baby.

• 5:15Connor Wood?

I got, I got the noise complaint, okay? And I, I'm like, oh crap, was it like... The two times I've had people over to my house, like, when we're watching YouTube music videos, like, Were they loud? Whatever. Was it the pot was, whatever?

• 5:31Connor Wood?

She emails me, direct. So the landlord gave her my direct contact, which has become a new issue for me. Um, and she said, "Hey, I think we have different sleeping schedules. Can you please not use your closet at night? Cause I sleep under your closet." So, my noise complaint was from maybe getting a t-shirt or underwear out at night to sleep in.

• 5:56Brooke Averick?

  It's kinda crazy, honestly.

• 5:59Connor Wood?

I'm, I was like, I am so sorry.

• 6:01Brooke Averick?

Like, that just happens when you live in an apartment building. Like, you have to be able to put up with some noise.

• 6:07Connor Wood?

  Don't use your closet.

• 6:10Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. I'm sorry.

• 6:12Connor Wood?

Formal request. It's okay, bud. Okay.

• 6:17Brooke Averick?

Show me who it is, because I'm camp focused.

• 6:19Connor Wood?

Okay, it's time for this tall man. Are you able to move this chair just in?

• 6:24Brooke Averick?

Is there, are you like having an episode? Is there no one in there?

• 6:28Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 6:30Connor Wood?

Wow, you actually just, you actually just made me scared and double-checked that there was someone else here.

• 6:37Connor Wood?

  Is that gonna?

• 6:38Brooke Averick?

  It's not, no one's there.

• 6:41Connor Wood?

You're gonna have to sit on the edge of the chair this way.

• 6:45Brooke Averick?

  Oh. Henry, Henry, Henry.

• 6:49Connor Wood?

  Henry, Henry, Henry is here.

• 6:51Brooke Averick?

Oh, my word. There you are.

• 6:54Speaker 04

  You look darling.

• 6:55Brooke Averick?

I didn't even consider that. You look amazing. Holy shit.

• 6:59Speaker 04

  You're being too sweet.

• 7:01Brooke Averick?

  What are you doing there?

• 7:03Speaker 04

I wonder the same thing, Brooklyn. I do. I'm, uh, sometimes, well, you know what? And I've always dreamed of the day where I had, I'm doing something in life where I say, I don't know if I can actually tell you what it is that I'm doing or who I'm working with.

• 7:16Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 7:17Speaker 04

You know, you, you reach a level in your life where you can finally say it.

• 7:20Connor Wood?

  It gets to a point.

• 7:21Brooke Averick?

  It gets to a point.

• 7:21Speaker 04

It does, it does. Um, so I genuinely actually don't know if I'm allowed to say.

• 7:25Connor Wood?

  Henry's secret project, Henry Henry.

• 7:28Speaker 04

I was on, I was on stage.

• 7:30Brooke Averick?

  You were on stage?

• 7:32Speaker 04

I was on set. I was on set.

• 7:33Connor Wood?

  On set.

• 7:34Brooke Averick?

Was it like a set of like an ad opportunity?

• 7:38Speaker 04

Yes, yes. Ad opportunity. I was, um, I was doing some paid work. And then I, you know, the beautiful thing is when I make my way across, uh, across the pond to New York, I get to see my best friend Connor.

• 7:50Connor Wood?

It's so, it's so nice to study abroad.

• 7:51Brooke Averick?

  That's incredible, boys.

• 7:53Speaker 04

  Where do you look?

• 7:54Connor Wood?

Um, we look right at Brooke.

• 7:56Speaker 04

Hi, Brooke. Wait, this is so funny. I need to tell you guys, this is my first ever podcast appearance ever.

• 8:01Brooke Averick?

  Ever?

• 8:02Connor Wood?

  You would never know.

• 8:03Speaker 04

  That's sweet. Ever.

• 8:04Brooke Averick?

Oh, my God. Well, I'm honored that you're here. I'm so glad it's you. Like, I was getting, I am comfortable with you, and that's good. Because I was, I was getting scared that it was someone that I wouldn't be comfortable with. But I'm so comfortable with you, Henry.

• 8:17Connor Wood?

Well, I wouldn't, I wouldn't do that to you after the.

• 8:22Connor Wood?

  Wait, nothing happened, but like-

• 8:23Brooke Averick?

  After what?

• 8:24Connor Wood?

I don't know, I was thinking of a time when I had a guest on secretly that-

• 8:28Speaker 04

Is chewing gum a faux pas on a podcast?

• 8:30Connor Wood?

It is, yes. Oh, are you chewing gum?

• 8:32Speaker 04

  I am.

• 8:33Brooke Averick?

  I didn't notice your gum.

• 8:36Speaker 04

I'm a very considerate gum chewer.

• 8:39Connor Wood?

I couldn't help but notice you put it in my sandwich. I'm gonna eat that.

• 8:42Speaker 04

Where else would I put it? But in your sandwich.

• 8:45Connor Wood?

Okay. I broke up, this is what I wanted to flag to you earlier.

• 8:50Brooke Averick?

  Flag it.

• 8:51Connor Wood?

  Something came across my desk.

• 8:53Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 8:53Connor Wood?

Um, a stat. And someone said, owning a cat is associated with two to threefold greater risk of schizophrenia.

• 9:01Brooke Averick?

  Please be sweet for once.

• 9:04Connor Wood?

I can't, I just wanna spread the good word. The leading suspect is a parasite known as-

• 9:10Brooke Averick?

  Oh, Toxoplasma?

• 9:11Connor Wood?

  Toxoplasma.

• 9:12Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 9:13Connor Wood?

  Gandhi.

• 9:14Speaker 04

  Gandhi.

• 9:15Brooke Averick?

I thought, I'm familiar with Toxoplasma gondii. I thought that was the thing that makes you like debilitatingly in love with your cat.

• 9:24Connor Wood?

  Well, that's schizophrenia, babes.

• 9:25Brooke Averick?

  Is it?

• 9:26Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 9:27Brooke Averick?

  You just call me babes?

• 9:28Connor Wood?

  Babes.

• 9:29Speaker 04

This is now, I, the third time I've spoken about schizophrenia today.

• 9:34Connor Wood?

Who else were you with? It's so early.

• 9:36Speaker 04

I spoke with my mom about schizophrenia, uh, earlier.

• 9:39Connor Wood?

Were you actually on the phone or were you talking to-

• 9:41Speaker 04

Yeah, I went for a nice walk on the, uh, West Side Highway. Great place.

• 9:46Connor Wood?

  Mm-hmm.

• 9:46Speaker 04

  Sorry to-

• 9:47Connor Wood?

No, no, no, it's, it's one of the better places, I would say as well. Have you been to West Side Highway, Brooke?

• 9:53Brooke Averick?

No, I don't think I wanna take a walk on the highway.

• 9:58Speaker 04

  I see.

• 9:58Connor Wood?

  So-

• 9:59Speaker 04

  I see.

• 10:00Connor Wood?

Yeah, it's, it actually like that is a good flag, but there's trees in between the highway and then the, the walking and running-

• 10:07Speaker 04

  It's a walking highway.

• 10:08Brooke Averick?

  Okay.

• 10:08Connor Wood?

And then it's on the water.

• 10:09Brooke Averick?

I can picture that, Boston had something similar.

• 10:11Speaker 04

There's bikes. Are you from Boston, Brooke?

• 10:14Brooke Averick?

No, god, no, Henry, I went to school there though.

• 10:18Speaker 04

  We have that in common.

• 10:20Brooke Averick?

  You're not from Boston either.

• 10:21Connor Wood?

  Not from Boston.

• 10:21Speaker 04

  Right.

• 10:22Brooke Averick?

  No, you're from San Diego.

• 10:24Speaker 04

I am. It's true, I am. And I, and I live there to this day. And that's okay with me, I think a lot of people ask me often if I'm planning to move. I'm so sorry we moved away from your schizophrenia topic, I hope you're not-

• 10:36Connor Wood?

No, that's just how this podcast goes.

• 10:38Brooke Averick?

It really is. But anyway, I do have that parasite.

• 10:43Connor Wood?

Well, you know that the parasites like Toxoplasma gondii might also alter human behavior boosting sexual risk taking and sexual aggression.

• 10:51Brooke Averick?

I definitely have not been doing sexual risk taking.

• 10:56Brooke Averick?

  As of late.

• 10:58Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 10:59Brooke Averick?

But I do, I'm so debilitatingly in love with my cat that it affects like my day to day and my behavior.

• 11:05Speaker 04

Do you have two now, Brooke?

• 11:06Brooke Averick?

Cats, yeah, I do. Robert and Jonathan.

• 11:09Speaker 04

  They're both black.

• 11:11Brooke Averick?

Yeah, they're both black and then.

• 11:12Speaker 04

  Cats are black.

• 11:13Brooke Averick?

  And.

• 11:15Speaker 04

You didn't really give me many.

• 11:17Brooke Averick?

  They're tuxedos.

• 11:19Connor Wood?

  They're tuxedos.

• 11:20Brooke Averick?

  And they love each other.

• 11:23Speaker 04

Were you worried about that when you acquired the second cat, Brooke?

• 11:26Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 11:27Speaker 04

  Were you worried about that?

• 11:29Brooke Averick?

Yes, Henry, I was. The reason I got a second cat is because I was scared that Jonathan was lonely.

• 11:36Brooke Averick?

And then when I got Robert, it was like immediate hate on sight in like an amazing way. Like it was so intense, the hatred, and it took three months for them to start even like remotely tolerating each other. And then probably four to become lovers, lovers and brothers in Christ.

• 11:55Speaker 04

It was a slow burn, Brooke.

• 11:57Brooke Averick?

It was a slow burn, enemies to lovers, which is my favorite trope, so it worked out well.

• 12:03Speaker 04

What is this deep cough you're suffering from?

• 12:05Connor Wood?

It only happens when I'm recording a podcast.

• 12:06Speaker 04

  It's a deep, it's a deep cough.

• 12:08Connor Wood?

It's almost like when I, when I go on a run, I have to spit when I'm on my run.

• 12:13Speaker 04

  Oh, oh.

• 12:14Connor Wood?

It's like when I start recording the podcast, I have to clear my throat every 10 seconds. Well, that, yeah, no, I also called that, by the way, R E cats, that they were going to be best friends eventually. Did I think it was going to take this long? No.

• 12:28Brooke Averick?

  No one did.

• 12:29Connor Wood?

Now, did I just have the thought, how crazy would it be if a cat got its nipples pierced? Yes, I did have that thought.

• 12:37Connor Wood?

  Yes, now why?

• 12:38Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, of course I did.

• 12:40Connor Wood?

They have like six, don't they? They have several.

• 12:42Brooke Averick?

  They have tons.

• 12:44Connor Wood?

That would be expensive. They've got several nipples and, and, and that's not even a conversation, like, that's not even part of it. Yeah, they'd have to get six.

• 12:51Brooke Averick?

That is for sure animal abuse, right?

• 12:53Connor Wood?

Six to 12, yeah. I saw an AI image of like a naked cat, one of those with no hairs.

• 13:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 13:01Connor Wood?

And it was tattooed all over. That's not good.

• 13:05Brooke Averick?

Like that, to me, that's the same like entity as Travis Barker.

• 13:12Connor Wood?

  It is 100%.

• 13:15Brooke Averick?

That's what you just described was an image of Travis Barker.

• 13:17Connor Wood?

  The exact same thing.

• 13:19Brooke Averick?

  Yeah. Which is amazing.

• 13:21Connor Wood?

  Wow, Brooke, well done.

• 13:22Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 13:24Connor Wood?

  That's, um.

• 13:26Connor Wood?

The, what's the image association thing?

• 13:28Brooke Averick?

I was about to say your like ability and like, uh, knack for like animals relating animals to like humans is osmosis saying to me.

• 13:39Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh. Well done. Like, that made me really proud of you.

• 13:42Brooke Averick?

  Thank you.

• 13:42Connor Wood?

Do you guys find that doing this podcasts? Podcasts.

• 13:45Brooke Averick?

  Podcast.

• 13:46Connor Wood?

The podcast makes you quicker, quicker? You think quickly. Well, the thing about Brooke and I is that like every time after we finish recording, hello?

• 13:58Brooke Averick?

  Hi.

• 14:00Connor Wood?

Sorry, no, please. The thing about Brooke and I is every time we feel so dumb at the end of, of the end of an episode, people are like, that was our favorite episode. Right.

• 14:10Brooke Averick?

I think the podcast has made me, it's tough because like I used to think I was a smart girl. And then with the pod, I've realizing that might not like always be the case, like 90% of the time. But I also think like what people don't realize is if they had the opportunity to just dump sack into a mic for like 60 minutes straight unfiltered, they would realize how dumb they are too. Like, it's just like unfiltered thoughts and you don't know how much you don't know until you're faced with it.

• 14:40Connor Wood?

It's almost therapeutic though, I'm finding.

• 14:42Brooke Averick?

  Really?

• 14:43Connor Wood?

  I'm feeling very, um.

• 14:45Speaker 04

Well, to be honest, more than anything, I'm wondering why Connor looks like he wants to be nowhere near me.

• 14:51Brooke Averick?

  Ooh, what's going on?

• 14:52Speaker 04

I don't know. Have you ever read about the leaning thing about in pictures?

• 14:56Connor Wood?

Well, I just, I want you to be more.

• 14:57Brooke Averick?

Henry's knees are definitely pointed towards you and I see, I can see that you're completely on the other side of your chair.

• 15:03Speaker 04

  That's what I'm saying.

• 15:04Connor Wood?

My mic's over here. Let's keep your mind. And then also, I'm trying to get him more in frame, even though I can't because we have chairs or arms.

• 15:12Brooke Averick?

He's in frame in a big way.

• 15:13Speaker 04

  I'm perfectly in frame.

• 15:15Connor Wood?

I'll just move the mic closer. Here.

• 15:16Speaker 04

  God forbid.

• 15:17Connor Wood?

No, I'm, I'm not trying to get away.

• 15:19Speaker 04

  Seems like it.

• 15:20Connor Wood?

I'm not. I wanted to flag, I had this most special situation ever happen to me the other day.

• 15:26Brooke Averick?

  What?

• 15:28Connor Wood?

I was on a flight and a flight attendant gave me a note on a napkin.

• 15:35Brooke Averick?

  Like?

• 15:36Connor Wood?

  You're very funny.

• 15:37Brooke Averick?

Wow, you should frame that. Frame that.

• 15:39Connor Wood?

It's at Framebridge as we speak. It's being framed.

• 15:43Brooke Averick?

Good. That's really special. Brick back napkin notes.

• 15:48Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 15:50Brooke Averick?

I want someone to put their love for me on a napkin.

• 15:53Connor Wood?

Freaking Airbus. I am floored. And I, like I told her, I was like, you have no idea, like, obviously I have a lot of friends that get these notes all the damn time. And then I go to dinner last night with Big H and, and her best friend is at dinner at the table next to her. She goes, my friend gave you a note, Caroline.

• 16:14Brooke Averick?

  Wow.

• 16:15Connor Wood?

Yeah. And I was like, I know, it's being framed at Framebridge.

• 16:19Brooke Averick?

  That's amazing.

• 16:20Connor Wood?

And a five by five. And a five by five with.

• 16:24Speaker 04

Brooke, are you familiar with Framebridge?

• 16:26Brooke Averick?

  With Framebridge?

• 16:27Speaker 04

  You're right.

• 16:28Brooke Averick?

No, but I'm getting the sense that it's like a framing store.

• 16:31Speaker 04

I just wish, right, I just wish you were around last, yester, yester evening to hear just how much Connor was speaking about Framebridge.

• 16:41Brooke Averick?

Is this a new place for you, Connor?

• 16:43Speaker 04

  It was almost compulsive.

• 16:45Connor Wood?

  Yeah, it's down. Yeah.

• 16:47Brooke Averick?

  Did you just find it?

• 16:49Connor Wood?

Yeah, there's one near me and they they they frame anything. You can take anything in there and get it framed.

• 16:53Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 16:54Connor Wood?

And like I'm talking to this guy Ray and.

• 16:57Brooke Averick?

  Ray from Framebridge?

• 16:58Connor Wood?

Yeah, and it's kind of like, hey, frame this. He's like, okay. Well, can you frame this? He's like, we will.

• 17:06Brooke Averick?

How much does it cost to frame something like a napkin that's like five by five?

• 17:10Connor Wood?

Like. Two hundred dollars? No, it's like twenty six bucks or something, but I'm getting I'm getting all the tote bags framed from my my tour merch. Yeah. And Brooke, I'm gonna send you a picture. They matte, they color match and it's like tortoiseshell shiny green frame. But tortoiseshell.

• 17:28Brooke Averick?

  Oh, my god.

• 17:29Connor Wood?

Because Hunter gave me the idea to do a wall in my apartment that's like.

• 17:35Connor Wood?

Milestone vibes. So I have a Variety article up there that I'm getting framed at Framebridge.

• 17:43Connor Wood?

And all the tote bags, my napkin from Delta.

• 17:47Brooke Averick?

Did you print the Variety article?

• 17:50Connor Wood?

No, I ripped it out of the magazine.

• 17:52Brooke Averick?

I, where did you get the magazine?

• 17:55Connor Wood?

  Oh, I I found it.

• 17:57Brooke Averick?

  Where do you find it?

• 17:58Connor Wood?

I went to Barnes and Noble.

• 18:01Brooke Averick?

Oh, my god, if I go to Barnes and Noble, I'm in there right now.

• 18:04Connor Wood?

You're, yeah, unless I don't think there's a new episode of our magazine of Variety out.

• 18:10Brooke Averick?

  Okay, I've got to go.

• 18:12Connor Wood?

You do gotta go. You guys were in Variety?

• 18:16Connor Wood?

  I'm so sorry.

• 18:17Brooke Averick?

  Where have you been?

• 18:18Connor Wood?

And someone. I've been touching my eyelash to the microphone cover. Someone has me muted on Instagram.

• 18:25Connor Wood?

No, no, no. I did post about about four or five times. I follow you closely.

• 18:29Brooke Averick?

Okay, that's cool that it's in print.

• 18:32Connor Wood?

  There is no reason.

• 18:33Brooke Averick?

I'll think about taking it out.

• 18:35Connor Wood?

Yeah. Oh, I would go get it if it wasn't a half mile away from where I'm sitting, but.

• 18:41Connor Wood?

There's no reason a young man like me, I have so many accolades, I have so many, I I I so much goodwill out, I have a pure heart. Why do I have a mosquito bite on my on my rim of my belly button? That's a tough one. I've never done anything in my life or in past lives, I feel confident in saying that, to deserve a little bite that's itchy on the rim of my belly button because I keep slipping into the hole.

• 19:06Brooke Averick?

  Ew.

• 19:07Connor Wood?

Yeah. Yeah. Do you guys know the feeling of when you put your finger into your-

• 19:11Brooke Averick?

That reminds me of my cousin like slipping into my grandpa's grave when he was burying, when we were burying him.

• 19:18Speaker 05

• 20:23Brooke Averick?

But he got, he didn't go all the way down to the casket. He just, it's like when you said like slip in, like that's what it, because he just slipped in very quickly. My dad got him before it was too late. Because in Jewish, in the Jewish tradition-

• 20:38Connor Wood?

  But in Jewish, right.

• 20:39Brooke Averick?

Well, we're Jewish, so he fell in. No. But in the Jewish tradition, you like, your family like digs dirt and then puts it on top of the grave. Like you bury your loved one.

• 20:51Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 20:52Brooke Averick?

And so when we were doing that, Cousin Drew slipped, slipped in and made himself a little bit more comfortable.

• 21:00Speaker 04

Maybe when, God forbid, well Connor's gonna live forever, but maybe we'll take his, Brooke, you can, you and I can

• 21:07Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 21:07Speaker 04

Take his corpse down to Framebridge and get him framed.

• 21:10Connor Wood?

  You can do whatever.

• 21:11Speaker 04

  You would frame your corpse.

• 21:13Connor Wood?

Ray would, my closest confidant, Ray at Framebridge would 1000% put my corpse in a shadow box. And it would be $200 flat.

• 21:23Brooke Averick?

Your casket is gonna be a shadow box.

• 21:26Connor Wood?

  Oh my god.

• 21:28Brooke Averick?

Custom framed by Ray at Framebridge.

• 21:30Connor Wood?

Shadow box. And, but I wanna be hitting like

• 21:34Brooke Averick?

  It'll be tortoise shell.

• 21:36Speaker 04

  And Ray will do it.

• 21:38Connor Wood?

He will. You could flat Stanley me and take me to Paris. I mean, hang on.

• 21:44Brooke Averick?

Let's do it. Let's freaking do it. Let's flat Stanley you and take you the heck to Paris.

• 21:52Speaker 04

  You would love Paris.

• 21:54Connor Wood?

I heard Paris is beautiful this time of year.

• 21:55Brooke Averick?

Nice this time of year, no?

• 21:57Speaker 04

  Have you been?

• 21:57Connor Wood?

It's gorgeous, no? I've been to Paris, yeah. Now, I don't wanna, I don't think we have any Parisians that would, that listen to this.

• 22:07Connor Wood?

There's a fat chance. Is fat positive connotation?

• 22:11Brooke Averick?

  Yes, let's make fat positive.

• 22:13Connor Wood?

There's just, I think, I think there's a, a flat Stanley chance that there's anyone from Paris, France, listening? If you are, I apologize. New York is cleaner than Paris, France.

• 22:26Brooke Averick?

  I

• 22:28Connor Wood?

  More clean.

• 22:28Brooke Averick?

I went to Paris once in high school and I was like, I hated here. And then I went back last year, two years ago, whenever, and I was like, this is the most magical place in the world. And it, similar to cats, like I think we've been poisoned against it, just because everyone was hopping on the like, people in Paris are mean train, like Paris is dirty train. And the same way that they hopped on the like cats are like mean train. And then it's not the case. It's just the Mandela effect.

• 23:00Speaker 04

It's a very inspiring place for an author like yourself, Brooke.

• 23:03Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 23:03Speaker 04

  Who could that be?

• 23:04Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh, you guys, hang on.

• 23:05Speaker 04

Who could that be? I'll take over.

• 23:07Brooke Averick?

  Is the door ringing?

• 23:08Speaker 04

  Yeah, he...

• 23:11Speaker 04

  Someone must be here.

• 23:12Brooke Averick?

  He's so crazy, isn't he?

• 23:13Speaker 04

He's so funny. This deep cough of his, who might it be?

• 23:17Brooke Averick?

  The deep cough is...

• 23:18Speaker 04

  Our second surprise guest.

• 23:19Brooke Averick?

  There's no way.

• 23:20Speaker 04

  Obama, Brooke.

• 23:22Brooke Averick?

Do you have another surprise guest?

• 23:24Speaker 04

  No.

• 23:25Connor Wood?

Yes, it's Cousin Drew. We got him out. We got him out of the...

• 23:29Brooke Averick?

Cousin Drew is Cousin Ben's brother.

• 23:31Speaker 04

Do you guys ever think about... Do you know... Are you familiar with Francofile?

• 23:36Brooke Averick?

  Yeah, I took French.

• 23:38Speaker 04

  Thank you, Brooke.

• 23:39Brooke Averick?

  For eight years.

• 23:39Speaker 04

Did you... And wait, Brooke, I'm gonna bring it all back full circle. Right now, I have an older sister. She also is a Terrier proud alumni of...

• 23:47Brooke Averick?

  Seriously?

• 23:49Speaker 04

Am I allowed to say where you went to college?

• 23:51Brooke Averick?

Yeah, yeah, I'm open about it and I'm open about the fact that I am not like a prideful Terrier.

• 23:57Speaker 04

Oh, I see. Anyway, she got her degree in art history and French.

• 24:02Brooke Averick?

  Oh, my God.

• 24:03Speaker 04

  Which connects you two.

• 24:03Brooke Averick?

  When did she graduate?

• 24:06Speaker 04

  Ah!

• 24:07Brooke Averick?

  I don't know her, but...

• 24:08Speaker 04

  Yeah, twenty...

• 24:11Brooke Averick?

  Me too. Me too.

• 24:13Speaker 04

  Anyways, what... What is that?

• 24:17Brooke Averick?

  Someone's in your house?

• 24:20Speaker 04

  Shit, look.

• 24:22Connor Wood?

Why didn't... Why did they come in?

• 24:24Brooke Averick?

  Someone's in your home.

• 24:26Connor Wood?

  Delivery.

• 24:28Brooke Averick?

So, and now they're in the home?

• 24:30Speaker 04

  Hello?

• 24:31Connor Wood?

You heard that? They were inside.

• 24:33Speaker 04

They were walking around. They're in your home. That's incredible. Talk about a good... I mean, talk about...

• 24:38Brooke Averick?

  That's fine.

• 24:39Speaker 04

  Wait, something's still there.

• 24:41Connor Wood?

I feel like Brooke does have something meaty to tell us.

• 24:43Brooke Averick?

  I do.

• 24:44Connor Wood?

And I wanna get into it.

• 24:46Brooke Averick?

So, the girl that you met last week? And that you had known all that time prior?

• 24:52Connor Wood?

  Is she dead?

• 24:53Brooke Averick?

  Dead.

• 24:55Brooke Averick?

Cause now she has a Nintendo Switch.

• 24:59Speaker 04

  Oh, we're talking about you.

• 25:00Connor Wood?

  I see it.

• 25:00Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 25:01Speaker 04

  Right.

• 25:02Brooke Averick?

And she's a completely different person. She's a freaking gamer.

• 25:10Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 25:10Brooke Averick?

Holy freaking airball, she's a gamer.

• 25:13Connor Wood?

Can you, can you make yourself a little, a little smaller so that I don't look like a a little man?

• 25:19Speaker 04

  On the podcast.

• 25:20Connor Wood?

No, just like you're just really making me.

• 25:21Speaker 04

  I'm so sorry.

• 25:22Connor Wood?

  Making me miniature.

• 25:23Speaker 04

I'm so, so sorry. My big fat ass. Brooke, I, I'm so sorry for distracting from your switch. I mean, you're, what is it? Please?

• 25:31Brooke Averick?

My Nintendo Switch. Just the one. I didn't get the two.

• 25:34Connor Wood?

I, I do want to say, I, I feel like you got me like a little bit of a research. Like it started making me miss Animal Crossing.

• 25:43Brooke Averick?

So I didn't even like know what Animal Crossing was really. And I saw a TikTok on Saturday morning.

• 25:54Connor Wood?

  Wait, you've never played?

• 25:55Brooke Averick?

I've never played Animal Crossing. Like I really was not in the Switch world, like at all. So.

• 26:03Connor Wood?

  Animal Crossing is on GameCube.

• 26:05Brooke Averick?

Never played it. I never, so I never played any game that's not like leveled. Like I never played a cozy game, you know?

• 26:12Connor Wood?

You would, you would absolutely bust your nut over Animal Crossing and.

• 26:17Brooke Averick?

  I can't even imagine.

• 26:18Connor Wood?

Like, it's crazy to have a game. There, it's, it's, it's, it's, it's purely for the love of the game. There's no levels.

• 26:26Speaker 04

  There's no, there's no.

• 26:27Brooke Averick?

  Well, it's my life.

• 26:28Speaker 04

  It's beautiful.

• 26:29Connor Wood?

  There's nothing sexual.

• 26:30Speaker 04

  No. Well. It's you, Brooke.

• 26:34Brooke Averick?

It's lit. So let me tell you about it. If I may.

• 26:38Speaker 04

  Please.

• 26:38Brooke Averick?

Saturday morning, I'm scrolling through TikTok. I see. There's this new game that just came out called Tiny Bookshop. Where you can become a bookseller who is recently retired to the coast and travels around town, Buxtonbury, in a cart and sells books out of their cart. And I saw a TikTok for that. I said, great. I will same day order the Switch from Target right now. It got to me within two hours. Within two hours of seeing that TikTok, I had set up my cart in Bostonbury. I became a local bookseller and nothing has ever been the same since.

• 27:20Connor Wood?

  Is it a lucrative business?

• 27:22Brooke Averick?

You have, at first it was not. At first I was pretty much in the red every day.

• 27:28Brooke Averick?

So basically you're going around town, depending on where you go, whether it be the lighthouse, um, the beach, uh, the university. You stock your shelves with different types of books because some towns like crime, some towns do not like kids books. So you really have to be in tune with what, uh, the townspeople like. So at first like I wasn't really getting it. I wasn't making a lot of money. But then, once you collect things and once you get it, like now I have a bunch of plants that lure people in. I have like some collector's editions of books. I have a guest book. I have gardening tools. I have some really exciting things that lure people in and my sales are through the frickin roof. I recently just got a huge, um,

• 28:14Brooke Averick?

like Edward Scissorhands type of like garden display that my friend and close confidant Harper made. And she actually won the flower show. And so she gave me that, uh, her award winning flower thing and Harper?

• 28:29Connor Wood?

Is it online? Like, are you, are those real people?

• 28:30Speaker 04

  Are you playing with people?

• 28:31Brooke Averick?

No, Harper's a character in the book or in the, in the game. So Harper, she won the flower show and because of me really, because I gave her three points. And so she gifted me with her flower design, which I now keep outside of my cart. And that, uh, has increased my sales by 15%.

• 28:50Connor Wood?

  You're, I know you're lying.

• 28:51Brooke Averick?

  15%.

• 28:53Speaker 04

  That's unheard of.

• 28:54Brooke Averick?

And that is actually made up for Harper's actually pretty annoying. So that's made up for all of her shenanigans.

• 29:00Speaker 04

And do you, two, I have two questions that

• 29:02Brooke Averick?

Yup, happy to answer any of them.

• 29:04Speaker 04

Will, will you be able to somehow bring your book, your real life book into?

• 29:10Connor Wood?

And she's really glad that you asked.

• 29:12Brooke Averick?

  Incredible question.

• 29:14Speaker 04

  Thank you.

• 29:14Brooke Averick?

So the books that I've been dealing with, Henry, they are real books. So I've been able to recommend A Court of Mist and Fury to people who are looking to get into a series. I have been able to recommend some Jane Austen to people who are looking for some of the classics. They're all real books. I don't know if maybe there will be an update in the future and my book will be a part of it. That would be.

• 29:36Speaker 04

  Could you imagine?

• 29:37Brooke Averick?

That would probably be like the biggest honor of my lifetime. Like more so than it being published like in bookstores.

• 29:43Connor Wood?

Speak of the devil, you, your book's out of your hands in two days.

• 29:48Brooke Averick?

Uh, not gonna happen, champion. The process has been delayed. Thank you.

• 29:53Connor Wood?

  As it should.

• 29:53Brooke Averick?

As it should be. So I'm not even gonna, every deadline I've ever had is like, it's always been like pushed out for whatever reason.

• 30:02Connor Wood?

It's been kind of squashed up.

• 30:03Brooke Averick?

Which apparently just like, that's what happens in the world, in this world. So I'll just tell you when it's done. I'm not gonna give you any more dates.

• 30:10Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 30:11Brooke Averick?

  I'll just tell you.

• 30:11Speaker 04

  Well, Harper's gonna love it.

• 30:13Brooke Averick?

But thankfully, it's been, the book has been out of my hands, like being edited. So I've been, uh, spending most of my days in Buxtonbury.

• 30:21Speaker 04

  I love it there.

• 30:22Brooke Averick?

  Did you have another question?

• 30:23Speaker 04

I have a second question. Yeah.

• 30:25Connor Wood?

Just, uh. You have to. Into the mind.

• 30:27Speaker 04

  I'm so sorry.

• 30:28Connor Wood?

  No, no, no.

• 30:29Speaker 04

  I will.

• 30:30Connor Wood?

Cause I, that's my issue too.

• 30:32Speaker 04

Okay, uh, I asked you about your book. May, perhaps, um, oh, author meet and greets might be good for your sales.

• 30:40Brooke Averick?

That's, so again, Henry, it's like you're reading my mind. There has been an old, there's an old printing press in Buxtonbury that hasn't been used in years. And since Tilda has retired, she is cleaning out her shop and she found the printing press and is like, hey, like, I think we should make use of this in addition to the typewriter. That I found. So I have a manuscript and.

• 31:09Connor Wood?

  In the game?

• 31:10Brooke Averick?

I have a manuscript in the game that I wrote with my typewriter and it is on the table. It's on my front table in front of the cart. And having that manuscript there, it lures in other people. It gets them asking about the printing press. Um, and we might actually be bringing back the town printing press, depending on the town people's interest. Right now, we're still gauging that interest.

• 31:33Speaker 04

You could also franchise and open a frame bridge.

• 31:39Brooke Averick?

So again, now that Tilda's retired and now that she has, Tilda's been hesitant to give up the shop. Okay.

• 31:46Connor Wood?

  Oh.

• 31:47Brooke Averick?

She's retired, but she's like not ready to let go, you know? But she just got a hip replacement. I visited her in the hospital. She had me going back and forth to every part of the city to bring her shit. But now that she is out of the hospital after her hip replacement, she's kind of starting to feel ready to let go of the shop. And I don't want to jinx anything. It's starting to feel like she might be giving her permanent storefront to me. I do not want to jinx it. I do not want to jinx it. I don't know if that's what's gonna happen. It's just she's been saying things. She's been saying things that make me feel that way. So I'm in it for the long game.

• 32:22Connor Wood?

Um, you feel sad when you stop playing the game because you're back in real life?

• 32:28Brooke Averick?

Um, kinda. I play for like six hours at a time though. So it's like, I could almost use the break.

• 32:37Brooke Averick?

But I'm looking forward to getting back. There's been some huge milestones that have just happened. Klaus just had his concert that I fundraised for for like three seasons straight. And we just did a production of Julius Caesar.

• 32:50Speaker 04

Well, is this in the game or in real life?

• 32:52Brooke Averick?

  The game.

• 32:52Speaker 04

Oh, see, and so now I'm wondering if you're, are you ever gonna have, what was that one movie with the dreams?

• 32:58Connor Wood?

  Inception?

• 32:58Speaker 04

Are you, do you think you might, are you worried about an inception? Maybe you don't remember which is real life and which is game life?

• 33:04Connor Wood?

  Cause it, it's.

• 33:05Speaker 04

  It's sounding like.

• 33:06Connor Wood?

It's sounding, because you have a manuscript in the game.

• 33:08Brooke Averick?

Well, I woke up this morning and I was like, whoa, like I hope Maura and Miriam made up because they're fighting. And I've unlocked a challenge to help them reconcile and I can't figure out how to do it. So that was the first thing on my mind this morning. So it's definitely seeping into my real life in a pretty big way.

• 33:26Speaker 04

So I'm gonna bring up schizophrenia for the fourth time today.

• 33:30Brooke Averick?

  No need.

• 33:32Speaker 04

  And I'm so sorry.

• 33:34Brooke Averick?

No need, everything's fine. Everything's fine. But I definitely think this will be a pretty big coping mechanism for when I finish writing my book. Cause like I, to say goodbye to that fictional world will be really hard. So it's just best to throw myself into something else in a healthy way like this.

• 33:53Speaker 04

  Don't be.

• 33:56Connor Wood?

  It's exciting to have something.

• 33:58Brooke Averick?

Agreed. I have my switch with me.

• 34:01Connor Wood?

I know, I couldn't help but notice it got like from the arm of your chair to your seat and now you're holding it.

• 34:05Brooke Averick?

I'm just holding, it's just, I'm just holding it.

• 34:08Connor Wood?

It's in a way closer than it's ever been.

• 34:10Brooke Averick?

But you know what's weird about the game? It's like, I'm not, like, I don't have an avatar or a name or anything. I'm not like a person. Like, I'm just, I think, like, I'm not there.

• 34:21Speaker 04

  What?

• 34:23Connor Wood?

  You don't have a name?

• 34:23Brooke Averick?

Everyone else is like a person, but I'm just a bookseller. Like, I don't have an avatar that stands there, you know?

• 34:32Connor Wood?

Is it like your point of view?

• 34:33Brooke Averick?

I guess, yeah, it's just like POV or a bookseller in books and bury.

• 34:37Speaker 04

  Is there, yeah.

• 34:38Connor Wood?

  Is it like this?

• 34:39Brooke Averick?

Yeah, it's like, yes, it's like.

• 34:40Speaker 04

Oh, so you are a person?

• 34:41Connor Wood?

  You are a person.

• 34:42Speaker 04

  You are.

• 34:42Brooke Averick?

I guess the point is that it, I guess that makes me even like more involved because it's legitimately me as a human. Like, I don't even have an avatar.

• 34:51Speaker 04

This is gonna, Brooke, this is making me really scared. That's like, almost putting you more at risk for losing yourself, like, your real, your... Yeah, you're, yeah.

• 35:01Connor Wood?

Let's, let's go to the beach on Tuesday.

• 35:04Brooke Averick?

  In the game?

• 35:07Connor Wood?

  Nope.

• 35:08Brooke Averick?

Because they just, they just blocked for the winter and now it springs up. You raise a good point. We should get back there. I've got to collect shells for Harper.

• 35:20Brooke Averick?

Not to mention the sandcastle competition.

• 35:23Connor Wood?

You don't even have to. I...

• 35:25Speaker 04

You didn't even have to mention it.

• 35:28Connor Wood?

Oh my gosh, I'm going to LA. LA on Monday.

• 35:31Speaker 04

I remember you told me that.

• 35:31Brooke Averick?

Oh my god, I get to show you my game.

• 35:33Connor Wood?

  I'm out of...

• 35:36Connor Wood?

I'm out of, I'm out of stuff to tell you because it, because we went to den, we went to dinner.

• 35:42Brooke Averick?

  You can talk to me.

• 35:43Speaker 04

  We caught up so much.

• 35:46Connor Wood?

Well, it's just like, I told him at Framebridge already and then I told him I'm going to LA already, so it's, that's the two things.

• 35:50Speaker 04

Wait, but you want, I'll, I... To be transparent, don't remember what, oh, no, I do. Don't, no, I don't remember why you're going, what the occasion is.

• 36:03Connor Wood?

Well, we're gonna, we, me and Brooke have a, have a, have work together on next Wednesday.

• 36:08Brooke Averick?

We have a, so you'll be in soon next week?

• 36:10Connor Wood?

  Yes.

• 36:11Speaker 04

  Oh, my God.

• 36:12Brooke Averick?

Which will be amazing. And then I will be in New York in a few weeks after that.

• 36:16Connor Wood?

Yeah. And like blessed be thy fruit as well, too.

• 36:21Brooke Averick?

  Completely.

• 36:23Speaker 04

Speaking of topics we spoke about last night, uh, do you mind?

• 36:29Connor Wood?

  I don't know what you're gonna say.

• 36:30Speaker 04

Well, I just, I, Connor and I finally got to, I, I don't think there's a single Brooke and Connor, uh, edit that I don't repost.

• 36:37Connor Wood?

  Oh, yeah.

• 36:38Speaker 04

It's one of my favorite things to do.

• 36:39Brooke Averick?

  I like them too.

• 36:41Speaker 04

And I cannot not hit that damn repost button.

• 36:44Brooke Averick?

I know, I ship them so hard.

• 36:46Speaker 04

I love it. Those, and those people are-

• 36:48Connor Wood?

  Kayla, yeah.

• 36:49Brooke Averick?

Shout out Kayla. I don't, like, I don't comment usually, cause it's like, I don't know. Why, I don't know why, I just never do that, but know that I'm there.

• 37:00Speaker 04

Oh, my God, and it's Birds of a Feather playing?

• 37:02Connor Wood?

I DM'd Kayla that makes the edits of Brooke and I.

• 37:05Brooke Averick?

  What did you say?

• 37:06Connor Wood?

I said, keep, please keep doing these.

• 37:07Brooke Averick?

I know, they make me feel like so warm.

• 37:11Connor Wood?

She has such an eye for it, too.

• 37:12Brooke Averick?

Such an eye, I'm shocked there hasn't been one about the calamari conversation.

• 37:16Connor Wood?

Oh, in time. I bet this will come out and-

• 37:18Brooke Averick?

  Don't worry.

• 37:19Connor Wood?

Birds of a feather, we should be together.

• 37:24Brooke Averick?

But I love that Kayla's branched out to the whole friend group as well.

• 37:27Connor Wood?

Yes. Oh, such exciting happenings as well, and that, and that-

• 37:32Brooke Averick?

  Like in our greater space?

• 37:34Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 37:35Brooke Averick?

Yeah, Trish and Channing's podcast is doing-

• 37:37Speaker 04

  I'm so proud of them.

• 37:38Brooke Averick?

So, I'm so proud of them, it's doing so well, and it's, it's just like remarkable to see their language spread.

• 37:45Speaker 04

  You're right.

• 37:46Brooke Averick?

  Like wildfire to the masses.

• 37:47Speaker 04

  It's crazy.

• 37:48Connor Wood?

  I have to say-

• 37:51Connor Wood?

This is gonna sound negative. It's not negative. I get annoyed when other people, the only people that I don't get extremely annoyed doing the, and it's like, their voice is, I only like it from them.

• 38:03Speaker 04

  Right.

• 38:03Connor Wood?

But when I was at shows this last weekend, I go, you listen to Not They All Care, don't you? And they're like, yeah. And I was like, I know you're talking like them.

• 38:10Brooke Averick?

  I get, I get that.

• 38:11Connor Wood?

  I do not like it.

• 38:13Brooke Averick?

But I like, I like it in written form, like on their Facebook.

• 38:17Speaker 04

  In comments, yeah.

• 38:18Brooke Averick?

Group page, it cracks me up. Like, I love them. People are like, hello, like my very, very huge and fat ass, like, would like to, like, that, like, is just, it's just sweet. That's, at its core, it's just sweet.

• 38:29Speaker 04

I do, I get cynical about TikTok comments, though. I feel like it's where creativity goes to die. People really beat things into the ground in those damn TikTok comments.

• 38:37Connor Wood?

My, I was about to say, my, my-

• 38:39Speaker 04

  Beat them into the ground.

• 38:40Connor Wood?

  My favorite.

• 38:42Speaker 04

Like, I've never once seen a Brittany Brooke podcast video where the top comment is, and she's in that studio all by herself. Like,

• 38:50Brooke Averick?

It sucks, cause like, sometimes, like, I'll see the comments and I'm like, holy shit, like, a comment like that, I'll be, this is like, so funny. And then I'll see it a million more times. And it's like, oh, wait, I had thought that was an original. Think-

• 39:01Connor Wood?

You're so funny. Are you diabetic? I thought that was so funny the first time, and then I got it 50 times.

• 39:05Speaker 04

  Fifty thousand.

• 39:06Brooke Averick?

  I don't get that.

• 39:06Connor Wood?

I have to, I have to read my favorite genre.

• 39:08Brooke Averick?

Wait, what is the joke there?

• 39:11Speaker 04

People, people will always comment and be like, oh, you're so funny, don't, you're so funny, don't go bald.

• 39:16Connor Wood?

  Yeah.

• 39:16Speaker 04

You're so funny, don't die. You're so funny. I don't know what it is.

• 39:19Brooke Averick?

You're so funny, are you diabetic?

• 39:22Connor Wood?

  I don't, I think it's just an unrelated-

• 39:24Speaker 04

  It's, I don't know, Brooke.

• 39:25Brooke Averick?

  Oh, okay.

• 39:26Connor Wood?

My favorite new genre of young man is-

• 39:32Brooke Averick?

That reminds me, uh, keep talking.

• 39:34Connor Wood?

There's a type of guy, you're gonna know when I start talking, this is not about anyone, it is low key, but like, no biggie. I'm not upset with, I just like, I, there's a genre of, of young man that's been posting on TikTok and Instagram, are, oh, are there any girls out there that just like want a, a sweet and loving man or anymore, or maybe, and, we were typing up fake comments the other day.

• 40:00Connor Wood?

Aiden sent me, "Dear future, dear future wifey, I hope you like your feet rubbed." Smiley face, like, there's like this genre of, "Dear future wifey."

• 40:08Brooke Averick?

Connor, my whole for you page.

• 40:10Connor Wood?

  I know.

• 40:11Brooke Averick?

You know that, because I posted on my close friends, like, and I'm very mean.

• 40:16Connor Wood?

"Hey, wifey, get ready for some extreme dates. By the way, I always make sure you finish before me, like the gentle bra I am." "Dear future wifey, you cook and clean while I provide the life you always deserved."

• 40:30Connor Wood?

"By the way, I hope you like bag rubs and getting eaten out."

• 40:34Brooke Averick?

It's tough, because like, they hear what girls want, and then they take it, and they run with it in a direction that is the opposite.

• 40:44Connor Wood?

The last one, you're not, I don't think you're gonna think this is funny.

• 40:47Brooke Averick?

  I'm laughing.

• 40:49Connor Wood?

"Ugh, I probably have like, the least suckable dick ever. Ugh, someone please prove me wrong, lol."

• 40:55Brooke Averick?

  That was the funniest one.

• 40:56Connor Wood?

Oh, okay. Good. It just, it's just like, unbel, yeah, it is, it's like, and then all the comments are like, "Weird way to propose, but alright," you know, or like.

• 41:08Brooke Averick?

Yeah, I, some girls really are, like, feeding into it, which is unique, New York.

• 41:16Connor Wood?

It is, it's unique, and it's, there is a lid for every damn pot.

• 41:22Brooke Averick?

I, I mean, I'm, I'm gonna be a bully for a second, which is something I do in private. But there's somebody that I found on TikTok, who I just, you know, when they, someone just, they've, I just wanna punch them, and it's through no fault of my own, it's just my instinct. And it's, it's a ma, it's a young man, who's very, he's conventionally attractive and knows it, and is just like, trying to get girls through, like, reading a very popular series, and...

• 41:56Brooke Averick?

I find that to be, it's like, it grinds my gears in a way that I can't even express. And all the comments are weird way to propose, but okay. And I'm like, what are, girls, what are you not seeing? Like, this is a death trap. It's a freaking death trap.

• 42:13Connor Wood?

Some people don't, they see it, but they just ignore it.

• 42:18Speaker 04

Literally me with my bags, like.

• 42:21Speaker 04

I'm like, I, I'm, this is me telling you guys, it's a trap. I'm a master of my.

• 42:26Brooke Averick?

No, like, Henry, the thing with you is that I can tell that your interest in your bags is so genuine and it's a passion project.

• 42:35Speaker 04

  Right.

• 42:35Brooke Averick?

Like, you are passionate about your bags. Like, these, this man is reading the series to appear a certain way.

• 42:43Speaker 04

But, but Brooke, and I completely agree with your, with your pessimistic view on the young man. You should choose, what happened to your, um, your husband, the farmer reader guy?

• 42:52Brooke Averick?

Oh, Luke, who's one of my closest friends.

• 42:55Speaker 04

  So let's.

• 42:55Connor Wood?

  Luke is engaged, no?

• 42:57Speaker 04

  How did I?

• 42:58Brooke Averick?

No, I think he's with someone, but regardless, he's my buddy.

• 43:03Speaker 04

  Right.

• 43:04Brooke Averick?

Like, and I, I love the guy.

• 43:06Speaker 04

I, I choose to, my approach to life, I choose to focus on that young man over the performative.

• 43:13Brooke Averick?

You can tell when it's performative. Oh, I'm, yeah, I don't find, like Luke to me, I'm like, his love of reading, like, I feel it in my soul. Like, that man loves to read, you know?

• 43:23Speaker 04

  Authenticity will always prevail.

• 43:26Brooke Averick?

And I don't feel that way about this other young man who I want to punch.

• 43:30Connor Wood?

I brought my book that I showed off on the podcast.

• 43:35Brooke Averick?

  Long Island Compromise?

• 43:37Connor Wood?

No, I mean, I, I had to give that one up because so many people dogged me for it, but The Creative Act or whatever, by Rick Rubin, or.

• 43:46Brooke Averick?

The guy who you thought throws the white party?

• 43:47Speaker 04

  The music guy?

• 43:48Connor Wood?

  No. Mark Rubio?

• 43:52Brooke Averick?

  Not him.

• 43:52Speaker 04

  Rubio, he's a politician.

• 43:54Connor Wood?

Okay, it wasn't, I don't think it's him either. Okay. Oh, no, I'm not reading a book by him.

• 44:00Brooke Averick?

You, you originally thought you were reading a book by the guy who throws the white parties.

• 44:04Connor Wood?

  Rick?

• 44:05Speaker 04

  Oh, oh.

• 44:06Brooke Averick?

  It's not him.

• 44:07Connor Wood?

Him either, that's fan, fanatics or whatever. Um.

• 44:10Speaker 04

  No.

• 44:10Connor Wood?

Okay, The Creative Act, whatever. I.

• 44:16Connor Wood?

There's no way else to say this. I was sitting on a toilet and I was at the airport and I had my backpack. I put my backpack on.

• 44:25Brooke Averick?

You had your backpack on while you were sitting on the toilet?

• 44:27Connor Wood?

No, I was putting my backpack on.

• 44:29Brooke Averick?

  On the toilet?

• 44:30Speaker 04

  On the toilet?

• 44:32Connor Wood?

I had to change my shoes.

• 44:36Brooke Averick?

You were on the toilet, you put your backpack on because?

• 44:39Connor Wood?

You know what, I don't want to tell this story. Basically, I'm not gonna go into detail. I dropped the book into the toilet and the automatic flush just went off immediately. Destroyed, destroyed the whole book. It's, that automatic flush like could, could rip your body to shreds. Like, it's no reason to flush in that aggressive format. It's so crazy. I don't know how anyone is able to relax their sphincter when that automatic flush is just firing off like an AK-47. It's so insane to suction things. I guess like at some point you probably do need that level of...

• 45:16Speaker 04

I prefer that toilet to the one that you can't get to flush.

• 45:19Connor Wood?

That's true, but it is gonna turn me inside out. I'll tell you what, it destroyed my book. I left the book. I just said, I'm sorry to this man that has to, or woman, that has to clean this book out of the toilet. I can't get it out. It's just, it's ripped to bits.

• 45:34Brooke Averick?

You left the book in the toilet?

• 45:35Connor Wood?

I took the cover out. There was pages.

• 45:42Connor Wood?

  Flopping around like just...

• 45:44Speaker 04

  That was good.

• 45:46Connor Wood?

  I was like, oh damn.

• 45:47Speaker 04

Wait, now do you, opening the stall door, walking out?

• 45:54Speaker 04

Do, uh, do you, you can't get the soap dispenser to automatically dispense the soap on your hand?

• 46:02Connor Wood?

There's nothing more, there's nothing more embarrassing than like, you have soap on your hands, but your faucet doesn't turn on and you're walking like, you're walking faucet to faucet like, hi, can I have, can I have some please? Sir, can I have a little bit of water so I can get the soap off my hand? Or like, it's like asking for crumbs. Okay, I'm sorry. Anyways, my book's destroyed. I am gonna get a new one because I did like the first two pages. So, bye bye.

• 46:28Speaker 04

Oh wait, I have a bookstore for you.

• 46:32Brooke Averick?

  Which one?

• 46:32Speaker 04

It's called, uh, Brooke, I'm gonna look at you here.

• 46:35Connor Wood?

  Brookshop.

• 46:36Speaker 04

  What's it called?

• 46:38Brooke Averick?

  Brooks and Berry?

• 46:39Speaker 04

  You're gonna love.

• 46:40Brooke Averick?

  The Strand?

• 46:41Speaker 04

No, you nailed it, Brooks and Berry.

• 46:43Connor Wood?

I'm gonna walk over to the Strand this afternoon.

• 46:45Brooke Averick?

  I love the Strand.

• 46:47Connor Wood?

  Actually.

• 46:48Brooke Averick?

  I really do.

• 46:51Brooke Averick?

Apparently, they have a new coffee shop, Connor.

• 46:54Connor Wood?

Oh, I'm looking forward to that.

• 46:55Brooke Averick?

Where it's mostly just a coffee shop with a few books at the checkout counter.

• 46:59Connor Wood?

Oh, see, that's like my, my speed.

• 47:02Brooke Averick?

But I don't think, I don't think they'll have like the book you're looking for.

• 47:06Connor Wood?

  The Strand is massive.

• 47:07Brooke Averick?

No, the Strand will, but not the Strand Coffee Shop.

• 47:12Speaker 05

How long are you gonna be in New York when you come?

• 48:14Speaker 04

  When are you coming?

• 48:16Brooke Averick?

Uh, pending. Because originally, now, we have to be there Sunday.

• 48:23Brooke Averick?

And I also have to separately be there Tuesday.

• 48:26Connor Wood?

  I know.

• 48:27Brooke Averick?

So, because I'm going to see a show. I'm going to see a show on Tuesday. We need to be there Sunday. I was gonna go back home to Philly for Monday, but now I'm like, I should just stay in New York.

• 48:38Connor Wood?

  Yeah, just stay.

• 48:39Speaker 04

The week of the ninth? I'll be here too.

• 48:41Connor Wood?

Oh my god, we have to get dinner.

• 48:43Brooke Averick?

  Oh, okay, let's do that.

• 48:44Speaker 04

  Do you like oysters, Brooke?

• 48:46Brooke Averick?

I wanna, I wanna try to.

• 48:48Speaker 04

  Yeah, I'm trying to too.

• 48:49Brooke Averick?

  I love all other shellfish.

• 48:51Connor Wood?

There is no reason to have yourself start liking oysters. Like, there's, just, just don't. Just get a steak.

• 48:58Brooke Averick?

I don't want that either. I, because I just, I love mussels and I love clam, so it's like, I should love oysters.

• 49:07Brooke Averick?

  So.

• 49:08Connor Wood?

I got some mussels and a clam for you.

• 49:09Speaker 04

  Come on.

• 49:10Connor Wood?

  That's disgusting, sorry.

• 49:12Brooke Averick?

Didn't, we had, remember like very early on in the podcast, we had like something about clams?

• 49:22Connor Wood?

  Something about clams? No.

• 49:24Brooke Averick?

  Never mind.

• 49:25Connor Wood?

So I'm gonna start doing a bucket hat.

• 49:28Speaker 04

  You like that?

• 49:29Connor Wood?

Yeah, I'm gonna start doing a bucket hat. It's not working right now and I can see myself. I know that it's not working.

• 49:34Brooke Averick?

What if you didn't fold it at the edges?

• 49:38Brooke Averick?

  No. That, I don't, I don't know.

• 49:41Speaker 04

You look like you're about to, oh, uh, Run DMC.

• 49:46Connor Wood?

You think I look like Run DMC?

• 49:47Speaker 04

Well, I think they wore hats like that today.

• 49:50Connor Wood?

  I'm unfamiliar with their game.

• 49:52Speaker 04

  I'm so sorry.

• 49:54Connor Wood?

  Um.

• 49:56Brooke Averick?

There's a few things that have happened in pop culture, if you want to talk about them.

• 50:00Connor Wood?

I want to talk about my weekend very quickly.

• 50:02Brooke Averick?

  I'd like you to.

• 50:03Connor Wood?

I was in Denver. I started, um, my tour in Denver at five shows this weekend. Sold out, five shows. Thank you so much.

• 50:11Brooke Averick?

  Honor.

• 50:12Connor Wood?

  To Colorado.

• 50:13Speaker 04

  It's incredible.

• 50:13Connor Wood?

And to the young people that came in from North Dakota. Appreciate you driving in because I probably will not make it to North Dakota anytime soon, even though that is where Mount Rushmore is and I would like to see that.

• 50:24Speaker 04

  I think that's South Dakota.

• 50:27Connor Wood?

And I think it's North Dakota.

• 50:30Brooke Averick?

  Y'all are at an impasse.

• 50:30Connor Wood?

Please continue. Oh, we're gonna have to agree to disagree. Yeah, I think we are. This is gonna get really messy.

• 50:37Connor Wood?

I, I had such a good time. I was so funny. Thank you. And then that's all I'm gonna say. I do wanna say one quick thing about the hotel that I stayed in. So the hotel that I stayed in was so very funky. It was unique in a way.

• 50:56Connor Wood?

We go in and Maggie, who's on tour with me, Maggie Winters, she texts us and goes, hey, my, my room is, is late night game show themed. I go, what do you mean? She goes, it's Deal or No Deal themed.

• 51:09Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 51:10Connor Wood?

And it was, it was like, everything was like, Deal, No, like, all the frames, pictures, like, everywhere. Howie Mandel cut out? Yeah. Xavier, and the whole floor is that theme. Xavier went to his floor. It's, it's pets themed, fur babies. There's pets on the walls, there's pictures of dogs, cats. I go, I can't wait to see the theme of my floor.

• 51:38Connor Wood?

Game show, pets. Guess what my theme was?

• 51:42Brooke Averick?

Uh, don't tell me. Game show, pets. Like Dungeons and Dragons?

• 51:50Connor Wood?

  So close. Kids.

• 51:54Brooke Averick?

How, like, did you have, like, slides and stuff?

• 51:57Connor Wood?

I was so looking forward to the, the, the elevator door opening up, um, to see what it was. Door opens up, hopscotch, hula hoops on the wall. That's kind of fun. A carton of milk.

• 52:12Brooke Averick?

I feel like you would actually really like that, though.

• 52:14Connor Wood?

Yeah, that sounds up your alley. No, it's, it's not good, guys. It's not good, and it's not good to come home after working. To hopscotch? Long day, and then you're just greeted with a classroom, like, this was the entry to way to my hall, hall.

• 52:31Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 52:34Connor Wood?

Wait, hang on. Kids. Kids, children. The theme is kids.

• 52:43Brooke Averick?

It's like really washed out, like I can't.

• 52:45Connor Wood?

  Maybe turn down your brightness?

• 52:48Connor Wood?

Oh, no, no, now that the black ground's black, it might be better.

• 52:51Brooke Averick?

The hula hoops, yeah, yeah. Who like books all your hotels?

• 52:56Connor Wood?

  Um, sometimes the venue.

• 52:58Brooke Averick?

  Oh, that's nice.

• 52:59Connor Wood?

That's nice. Other times it's sometimes Hotel Tonight, which I really adore.

• 53:02Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 53:02Connor Wood?

My parents, so I got my parents on Hotel Tonight. I love Hotel Tonight. I have, I use it a lot because of these shows or if a flight gets canceled or something and I'm somewhere random. Hotel Tonight always has, not an ad, by the way, I don't even think they do ads. I don't even know if they're a company, but they're an app. But, um, they always have a hotel available and it's like very unique. And it's very cheap, affordable for the most part. Your floor will be kids themed. This was not Hotel Tonight, but my parents texted me the other day, they go, Connor, we are never using that app again. I go, oh God, what happened? They go, we booked a $42 hotel. And I go, okay, I don't even need to hear the rest of the story.

• 53:41Brooke Averick?

  Right.

• 53:43Connor Wood?

  You're in.

• 53:43Brooke Averick?

Know how to work the app, don't let the app work you.

• 53:46Connor Wood?

They're in a ci- like a genuine city. And they booked a $42 hotel. I go, they go, it was disgus- disgusting. And go,

• 53:57Connor Wood?

you paid $42, like that is less than a take of gas. You get what you paid for.

• 54:04Connor Wood?

So like I couldn't, I was like, I don't even need to hear the rest. That is, that is on you. Did you read the reviews? No, why would we? Yeah. No, and they stopped there. They're troopers, they really are troopers.

• 54:15Brooke Averick?

  Where were they?

• 54:17Connor Wood?

Um, they were driving somewhere for sure.

• 54:21Connor Wood?

It's impossible to say these days, you know, where

• 54:24Brooke Averick?

  Yup.

• 54:24Connor Wood?

Parents can just go wherever they want. With hotels tonight.

• 54:29Connor Wood?

I wonder if I'm gonna have to put my parents in a home at some point.

• 54:31Brooke Averick?

Well, let's think about that at another time.

• 54:35Connor Wood?

Oh, my gosh, that's so true, cuz it's miles and miles and miles away.

• 54:38Brooke Averick?

It is miles and miles and miles away.

• 54:41Connor Wood?

I've been listening to so much Royal Otis. You and me both. Have you really? On my walk this morning.

• 54:46Brooke Averick?

Do they have an album out?

• 54:48Connor Wood?

I just shuffle all their songs. No, they're all.

• 54:51Brooke Averick?

  I only know their covers.

• 54:53Connor Wood?

And they simply will not respond to my DMs.

• 54:55Brooke Averick?

Do you know they were at Red Lion, like the bar here, like just performing a few weeks ago?

• 55:01Connor Wood?

Hey, don't piss me off on the podcast.

• 55:03Brooke Averick?

  Okay, sorry.

• 55:04Connor Wood?

  Did you go?

• 55:05Brooke Averick?

No, I didn't know about it till after, but I would've.

• 55:08Connor Wood?

Brooke, this is a band that you would fall head over heels. Head over heels.

• 55:11Brooke Averick?

  We've discussed my falling before.

• 55:14Connor Wood?

  For Royal Otis?

• 55:15Brooke Averick?

Yeah, for, I don't remember if it's Royal or Otis. Prob-

• 55:20Connor Wood?

  You would love Royal.

• 55:21Brooke Averick?

  Royal.

• 55:22Connor Wood?

  There's one young man.

• 55:23Brooke Averick?

  Whoever wants things.

• 55:24Connor Wood?

Okay, yeah, I mean, the other one doesn't show his face, which.

• 55:27Brooke Averick?

The one that shows his face.

• 55:29Connor Wood?

Yeah, he's handsome. He has a girlfriend, of course.

• 55:31Brooke Averick?

Don't piss me off on the podcast.

• 55:33Connor Wood?

That's my bad. That's my bad.

• 55:34Brooke Averick?

Do not piss me off on the podcast.

• 55:36Connor Wood?

  That is my bad.

• 55:39Brooke Averick?

  How do you know that?

• 55:41Connor Wood?

Oh, I'm, I, I, I looked into both of their personal lives. Deeply. Um, they're great. I love. What?

• 55:49Brooke Averick?

  What did you DM them?

• 55:50Connor Wood?

Let me s- I'm not gonna show it publicly.

• 55:55Connor Wood?

Hey, I heard Paris is beautiful this time of year.

• 55:59Connor Wood?

Let me see what I DM them. Gay Paris.

• 56:04Connor Wood?

To Brooke's point, though, it doesn't. Oh, they did respond. What?

• 56:12Connor Wood?

Ooh, and then I responded again. Let me unsent that.

• 56:16Brooke Averick?

  What did, what, what happened?

• 56:18Connor Wood?

  No.

• 56:18Brooke Averick?

  Tell us what happened.

• 56:20Connor Wood?

I should go see Royal Otis and their prawn when I went to their show in Columbus, Ohio, or, yeah, Columbus.

• 56:26Brooke Averick?

Put your mouth closer to the mic.

• 56:28Connor Wood?

When I went to go see them in Columbus, Ohio, and by the way, Columbus, you are not lost on me. I love you to death. I will go back to you and I'll be inside of you at any point that I can. I love Ohio. And I love Vancouver, Vancouver and Ohio. Like, I need to travel a little bit because the places I've fallen in love with are like, right there. I feel like you travel too much, young man.

• 56:50Brooke Averick?

I feel like you could stand to travel a little less.

• 56:52Connor Wood?

Well, I need to go like.

• 56:54Brooke Averick?

  For fun.

• 56:55Connor Wood?

Somewhere outside of the Midwest. Like, that's the distance that I travel. I really want to go to.

• 57:03Connor Wood?

We are overdue for that Bali trip.

• 57:06Connor Wood?

Bali is where I want to go. I'm gonna plan a Bali trip for the spring. And it's gonna be just like a, it's gonna be like a belated birthday trip. I really need to get back into deli meat. In such a big way, but I'm just not willing to eat anything with hormones. Because I don't want to get all girly.

• 57:24Brooke Averick?

  Organic deli meat.

• 57:27Connor Wood?

I don't want to get all girly after I eat my ham. Borscht is a good place to start.

• 57:32Brooke Averick?

  Non girly deli meat.

• 57:34Connor Wood?

No, I don't want to, I don't want it pumped in, pumped in with preservatives and processed.

• 57:38Brooke Averick?

You don't, it doesn't have to be.

• 57:40Connor Wood?

I don't think it does have to be.

• 57:41Brooke Averick?

It's like sliced turkey from Whole Foods.

• 57:43Connor Wood?

Yeah, you're so right. Take your ass to Whole Foods. But I've already, I've, I've told you this, but you don't, you don't know this either, probably. Of course. But the Whole Foods in California and like in Austin, it like is an experience and it's very wholesome. You can have your headphones in and it's, that's your community. Here, bring a bow and arrow. You are, you're, it's hunting, gathering, it's competitive, it's get out of my way. It's, it's, and who are you? It's, what floor am I even on? Why am I, why am I on the third floor? Where's the deli meat? You don't tell me it's on the bottom floor, it was just there. You know, like, the experience is so fight or flight in New York to go to Whole Foods.

• 58:22Brooke Averick?

I feel like there has to be one good one.

• 58:25Connor Wood?

Maybe if I go to like Brooklyn, I don't know if Brooklyn would have. I think you ought to get way out of town. Every time I talk about New York on the podcast, when I'm like, yeah, there's a pond in Central Park, the way everyone was like, that's a lake. I'm like, okay. I can see the other side, so I don't, I don't know if I would call it a lake, but I, and I never saw a turtle the other week.

• 58:46Brooke Averick?

  Oh, no.

• 58:47Speaker 04

  Were you hoping to?

• 58:49Connor Wood?

Yeah, cuz I had this massive dream about all these turtles twice and I never saw a turtle.

• 58:55Brooke Averick?

Wait, can I say one more thing about my weekend before we wrap? Cause your Whole Foods, your Whole Foods conversation reminded me of it. Um, at the mega marquee.

• 59:08Connor Wood?

  What is that?

• 59:09Brooke Averick?

It's like a French, or I guess there's like a French way to say market in the parking lot, you know, those like young men that are inflated and like they're usually outside of like car shops and they go, they're flappy.

• 59:21Connor Wood?

  Oh, yeah, very familiar.

• 59:23Brooke Averick?

  Someone slashed it.

• 59:25Connor Wood?

  What?

• 59:26Brooke Averick?

And so now there's an open investigation.

• 59:30Speaker 04

  I'm sick about that.

• 59:31Brooke Averick?

Also, sorry, this is in my game.

• 59:35Brooke Averick?

  There's an open investigation.

• 59:36Speaker 04

Thanks for having me on, Connor.

• 59:38Brooke Averick?

Of, about who slashed, it's a murder case, who slashed the young man? He's still there at the mega marquee with like a, a tarp over him and caution tape. And he's been there for like seasons, cuz the game goes by in seasons. He's been there for so long, I can't even figure out like the first step in finding out who did it. I know it was Klaus. Goes without saying that it was Klaus.

• 1:00:02Connor Wood?

What motive would Klaus have for slashing the young man?

• 1:00:04Brooke Averick?

He didn't, he thought it was, he didn't like the young man, thought it was tacky. He's like very alternative.

• 1:00:10Speaker 04

  Klaus.

• 1:00:12Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:12Connor Wood?

You hate Klaus, like I can see it in your eyes.

• 1:00:14Brooke Averick?

No, I do. Klaus is the one that I spent like so long fundraising for his dumbass concert.

• 1:00:21Brooke Averick?

And had to pay separately for the production of Julius Caesar. Because that's the only way that I could have gotten him the stage is to fund that production first. God knows why.

• 1:00:33Connor Wood?

  You couldn't outsource for Klaus?

• 1:00:35Brooke Averick?

No, the only way was to do Julius Caesar first, but I cannot figure out how to crack the case of the young man in the parking lot of the mega marquee. Fern is trying to help me. Fern is the reporter.

• 1:00:48Connor Wood?

  Okay.

• 1:00:49Brooke Averick?

  But he's being no help.

• 1:00:50Connor Wood?

  Shit up.

• 1:00:51Brooke Averick?

  What'd you say?

• 1:00:52Connor Wood?

Shit up. You're just making shit up now.

• 1:00:53Brooke Averick?

I swear to God, I'm not.

• 1:00:55Speaker 04

You're not even a real person.

• 1:00:57Brooke Averick?

I swear. So if anyone plays Tiny Bookshop and knows like the first thing that I need to do to get this case moving? Cuz I'm ready to solve it.

• 1:01:06Connor Wood?

That's really, it's so nice to have a project.

• 1:01:10Speaker 04

  A passion project.

• 1:01:12Connor Wood?

I hate when couples wear a costume that's like, I have sex with my girlfriend vibes. Like when he's the plug and she's the socket.

• 1:01:20Brooke Averick?

  I've never seen that.

• 1:01:21Speaker 04

And you want, I recently sent, please finish actually.

• 1:01:26Connor Wood?

That's it. But like, when, when couples are like,

• 1:01:32Connor Wood?

when they wear like pregnancy t-shirts and it's like, he got me pregnant.

• 1:01:37Brooke Averick?

  I've never seen this.

• 1:01:39Connor Wood?

Couples costumes that are like inherently like, yeah, we bone. Yeah, that's disgusting.

• 1:01:46Speaker 04

I sent a text recently elaborating on a deep rooted hatred I have towards

• 1:01:53Speaker 04

somebody I follow on Instagram, well, no longer. I think I must have unfilled them. They, they posted Instagram stories for their siblings birthday that were so uncomfortably romantic.

• 1:02:07Brooke Averick?

I might know who you're talking about.

• 1:02:08Speaker 04

Nevermind. I don't know. What, what, what did Brooke?

• 1:02:11Connor Wood?

  You know what?

• 1:02:13Brooke Averick?

I might know who you're talking about.

• 1:02:15Speaker 04

  Um, maybe.

• 1:02:17Brooke Averick?

  It's a personal acquaintance.

• 1:02:18Speaker 04

It might be, let's talk after, let's talk later.

• 1:02:21Brooke Averick?

  Sounds good.

• 1:02:23Speaker 04

I just don't like siblings who are,

• 1:02:28Speaker 04

they, when they touch on the internet.

• 1:02:30Connor Wood?

I, yeah, I also, I, I also feel the same way.

• 1:02:34Brooke Averick?

  It's not ideal.

• 1:02:37Connor Wood?

And maybe it's because of my relationship with my family. We're very close, but

• 1:02:43Connor Wood?

we don't kiss on the mouth, you know?

• 1:02:44Speaker 04

  Right.

• 1:02:46Brooke Averick?

  My chylitis is back.

• 1:02:48Connor Wood?

Oh, Brooke, get your fingers off your lips.

• 1:02:50Brooke Averick?

  I can't.

• 1:02:52Brooke Averick?

  But we have to go.

• 1:02:53Connor Wood?

We, we do have to go?

• 1:02:54Brooke Averick?

  Yeah.

• 1:02:55Speaker 04

So quickly yesterday on set, when I was, me when I was on set yesterday.

• 1:03:00Brooke Averick?

POV boy who's been on a set.

• 1:03:01Speaker 04

It was my first time, what was that Brooke?

• 1:03:03Brooke Averick?

I said POV boy who's been on a set.

• 1:03:05Speaker 04

POV me when I've been on set before. I've never been the same since I was on set. The, I've never interacted with hair and makeup before, at least in recent memory. And I was on set and I

• 1:03:19Speaker 04

She was, she was like, they were doing my hair and makeup in between scenes, whatever. And she's like playing with my lips and she was like, really? She's playing with them a lot. I was like, what's going on with my lips?

• 1:03:29Connor Wood?

  Did she tell you?

• 1:03:29Speaker 04

  She wouldn't leave them alone.

• 1:03:30Brooke Averick?

No, they apply, they apply chapstick every eight days.

• 1:03:34Speaker 04

I had this nice white film going on. And so she like, she's like, we cleared off for me. So I cleared off. I don't know where this white film came from. I think it was from my aqua four.

• 1:03:44Brooke Averick?

  I hate white film.

• 1:03:46Speaker 04

I had this nice big white tag of like dead skin. And she's like, do you want me to get it or do you want to get it? And I said, I'm happy for you to get it. And then she doubled, she, she went back. She said, no, please get it for me. So then I sucked into my mouth and I ate it.

• 1:03:59Brooke Averick?

  That must've been very hot.

• 1:04:03Connor Wood?

  Very yum, very yum.

• 1:04:05Speaker 04

So that's all I have on that.

• 1:04:07Connor Wood?

Well, I like really appreciate the transparency and that you feel comfortable sharing your white film with us today.

• 1:04:13Speaker 04

  Yes.

• 1:04:14Connor Wood?

  You know?

• 1:04:15Speaker 04

  I feel so comfortable here.

• 1:04:17Connor Wood?

It is nice. I, I think that, um, what time is it?

• 1:04:20Brooke Averick?

  Like so time to go.

• 1:04:22Connor Wood?

Oh guys, okay. Okay, you guys, thank you so mu- Hi guys.

• 1:04:32Connor Wood?

Hi guys, today I did something crazy.

• 1:04:36Speaker 04

Brandon is too much, man. He's too much. Did you see that, Brooke?

• 1:04:40Brooke Averick?

Is it, did he do an impersonation?

• 1:04:42Speaker 04

Yeah, Brandon impersonated me and then someone commented and was like, and then the, the bread is all moldy and then nevermind.

• 1:04:49Connor Wood?

Well, thank you guys so much for listening. Henry, thank you so much for joining us.

• 1:04:52Brooke Averick?

  What a nice surprise.

• 1:04:54Speaker 04

This was so sweet. I want to just say how proud I am of both of you and I love you both. And I look up to you both deeply. And when people ask me about my life on the internet, I will always say Connor was one of the first people to ever reach out to me and like give me advice and like hang out with me. And when people ask me what Brooke is like in real life, I will always, always say she's one of the sweetest people I've ever met.

• 1:05:18Brooke Averick?

  There's no way.

• 1:05:19Speaker 04

I swear to God, I swear to God, if you are one of the people-

• 1:05:21Brooke Averick?

  There's literally no way.

• 1:05:23Speaker 04

I've had that conversation with, please DM Brooke or me so I can prove to her that it's the truth.

• 1:05:28Brooke Averick?

  Henry.

• 1:05:29Connor Wood?

Well, we love you so much. Sorry you've been looking at the bottom of my foot. It's not the best, but.

• 1:05:36Brooke Averick?

Okay, well, we'll see you guys in the bonus.

• 1:05:38Connor Wood?

Thank you guys for listening so much. This was so unique.

• 1:05:42Brooke Averick?

  Amazing.

• 1:05:43Connor Wood?

  Henry, thank you again.

• 1:05:44Speaker 04

  Guys.

• 1:05:45Connor Wood?

I love you, Brooke. I love you, Henry.

• 1:05:48Speaker 04

  I love you.

• 1:05:48Connor Wood?

And I love everyone listening. Time to take a bite of my sandwich.

• 1:05:52Speaker 04

  I'm gonna fly home.

• 1:05:53Connor Wood?

  Safe travels.

• 1:06:00Speaker 05
