This summer, Love Island USA was running our screens and our group chats six nights a week, baby. And Nick and Taylor were right in the center of it all. Triangles of love, bromances, viral moments like "mamacita." We've all been living for their post-villa content, and I don't know about y'all, but I am sad every time that one of them pops out with their boo. And Nick Alondria fan edit gives me life. The villa might be closed for the season, but between the reunion and the online speculation, the tea is still piping hot, honey. So you know I had to bring them in to break it all down. Because, baby, this is Keke Palmer.

• 1:05Keke Palmer?

This episode is presented in partnership with Airbnb, where summer adventures feel like a home away from home. Speaking of unforgettable moments, well, you'll see. Let's start the show.

• 1:19Keke Palmer?

  Hey, y'all.

• 1:20Speaker 01

  What's good?

• 1:21Keke Palmer?

Guys, I'm so excited to have you on the show because I just had Shelly and Alondria on, and I didn't even get to... Like, I talked to them before a lot of the conversations and things have been happening since, so I'm definitely gonna be getting into those updates with you guys. But thank you for being here. Y'all look so handsome.

• 1:36Speaker 01

  I appreciate it.

• 1:37Speaker 02

Thank you. You look gorgeous as well.

• 1:38Keke Palmer?

  Thank you, Style. Keep going.

• 1:40Speaker 01

  Well, Kiki.

• 1:41Keke Palmer?

OK, so I'm very excited to see y'all pre-show pull up questionnaires and see what you guys are giving. So I'm gonna start with Nick. "Today I'm giving meatball with a side of spaghetti." OK, come on, your mom's meatballs.

• 1:52Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 1:52Keke Palmer?

  That really went up.

• 1:54Speaker 02

  Yeah, it did.

• 1:54Keke Palmer?

Have you had any of the meatballs since coming back home?

• 1:56Speaker 02

No, but I saw my mom was making meatballs in a TikTok with my sister, so... We're serving meatballs today.

• 2:02Keke Palmer?

Shout out to them. Next time, I'm gonna get me a little Tupperware to-go box. OK, today's mood in one word: dangerous. Now, why are you feeling dangerous? Dangerous.

• 2:10Speaker 02

In the villa, like, we'd get asked every day how we feel. And I, I think, like, every day I just came with, like, dangerous, like. It's a, it's a lifestyle, it's an attitude, like, you're just coming with that energy.

• 2:21Keke Palmer?

Yeah, okay, yeah, you was definitely always coming with that banter.

• 2:24Speaker 02

  Trying to.

• 2:24Keke Palmer?

  Definitely saw you with that.

• 2:25Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 2:26Keke Palmer?

Very dangerous. Okay, what did you listen to on the ride here? My dad, you was on the phone with Pogs?

• 2:31Speaker 02

I couldn't even get a tune in, I had, like, he was just calling me, so.

• 2:34Keke Palmer?

  What was that talking about?

• 2:35Speaker 02

  It's just life, business.

• 2:37Keke Palmer?

I love that, you close to your dad?

• 2:39Speaker 02

  Very, very.

• 2:39Keke Palmer?

You seem to give a very tight-knit family, you two.

• 2:41Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 2:42Keke Palmer?

I'm very close to my family as well. My sister here today, my mama here today.

• 2:45Speaker 02

Well, yeah, I don't even talk to nothing of this.

• 2:47Keke Palmer?

My sister actually accidentally knocked on your door. And was like, I'm looking for Taylor.

• 2:51Speaker 02

  Oh.

• 2:52Keke Palmer?

That's my sister, she was like, this ain't the Taylor, she thought you was Taylor Pogs.

• 2:55Speaker 02

  No, that's crazy.

• 2:57Keke Palmer?

  Yeah, it was crazy, yeah.

• 2:58Speaker 02

  Nah.

• 2:58Keke Palmer?

  So that was my sister.

• 3:00Speaker 02

  What else is?

• 3:02Keke Palmer?

One thing that instantly makes you laugh, Senior Williams.

• 3:06Speaker 02

That was, uh, that was Taylor Williams, that's his full name, that's just my nickname for him.

• 3:11Keke Palmer?

Senior Williams, so you really be cracking a joke?

• 3:13Speaker 01

He gotta say it in his voice, he not saying it correctly.

• 3:15Speaker 02

  No, no, it's okay.

• 3:18Keke Palmer?

  I just can't, I'm.

• 3:19Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 3:21Keke Palmer?

Pogs, he's got shy. Okay, now I'm about to do your questionnaire. Today I'm giving trim with a side of subtle. And that's very much on point, because this outfit is very trim, perfect to the body. But also you laid back and chill.

• 3:33Speaker 01

Just chill, like, you won't know it's chrome unless you look at the buttons. The buttons just crawl, you feel me?

• 3:38Speaker 02

  The pants, the pants.

• 3:39Keke Palmer?

  But the baton is like.

• 3:40Speaker 01

You feel me, but I gotta, I gotta be in black.

• 3:42Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 3:42Speaker 01

It's like, you gotta, you gotta really look to know what they are. A lot of people think these are Carhartts.

• 3:46Keke Palmer?

He came in fitted. He came in fitted.

• 3:48Speaker 02

  You feel me, trim.

• 3:49Keke Palmer?

Today's mood in one word, chill. I feel like you always give chill, you always laid back in the cut. Um, what did you listen to on the ride here? Clark, y'all was on the phone, so what, what was y'all talking about?

• 4:00Speaker 01

Her coming back to Oklahoma, she just left yesterday.

• 4:02Keke Palmer?

So wait a minute, how, this is one of my questions, but since you done already brought it up. What was it like with her coming, because where's Clark from, from?

• 4:08Speaker 01

  Charlotte.

• 4:09Keke Palmer?

Charlotte, okay, so still southern, but it ain't what you be on. So what did she think coming down there?

• 4:14Speaker 01

Man, she loved it, like, when she first got there, she wanna get her hair done, nails done, so we got her hair done.

• 4:19Keke Palmer?

She already found the place to get her hair done?

• 4:20Speaker 01

You feel me, I found the, my mom's hairstylist got her hair done. Then we had, like, a little family get-together, I hired some people to come do her nails at the crib.

• 4:27Keke Palmer?

  No, you didn't.

• 4:28Speaker 01

  So did.

• 4:28Speaker 02

  Oh my gosh, yeah.

• 4:31Speaker 02

What's the song, that was sung in the villa, hair's done, nails done?

• 4:35Speaker 01

Everything did. Yeah, that one, yeah.

• 4:37Keke Palmer?

Oh my gosh, so she loved, how long did she stay?

• 4:39Speaker 01

Uh, three or four days until I left, so we both at the same time. Took her to a rodeo, so.

• 4:44Keke Palmer?

What did she think of the rodeo? I feel that the rodeo would be very fun.

• 4:46Speaker 01

Nah, she was lit, like she rode horses more than I did.

• 4:49Keke Palmer?

  Oh my god!

• 4:49Speaker 01

She got on a horse and not get off, took pictures, walked around, like. I even took her out there, made her feed horses with me, like.

• 4:56Speaker 02

Save the horses, ride the cowboy.

• 5:00Keke Palmer?

You too much. Now that's that dangerous, what you're talking about. Okay, one thing that instantly makes you laugh, Nick snapping his toes. What?

• 5:08Speaker 02

  That wasn't, that wasn't aired, I don't think.

• 5:11Keke Palmer?

  You talking about like this?

• 5:12Speaker 02

  No, like, like this.

• 5:13Speaker 01

He literally, he could snap his big toe and then the toe, his middle toe.

• 5:17Speaker 02

  It's like a talent that I.

• 5:19Speaker 01

  It sound like this, swear.

• 5:20Keke Palmer?

When did you learn how to do that?

• 5:21Speaker 02

I hope it comes out, you know, in the reunion, but uh.

• 5:24Speaker 01

Go ahead and do it right now, take off the sock and sound.

• 5:27Speaker 02

I can't, I can't release the dogs on the podcast.

• 5:29Keke Palmer?

The fact that you could snap your toes, that's pretty next level.

• 5:32Speaker 01

It is loud, like, like we literally had people like, closing eyes. Like we had, we had, we said to people like, like, close your eyes, people in the villa. It was like, what does it sound like? And then it's like, snapping your fingers.

• 5:42Keke Palmer?

You was leaning with it, rocking with it.

• 5:43Speaker 02

I was basically, but with my toes.

• 5:45Keke Palmer?

Cause I can do a lot of stuff with my feet too. My feet are like hands, I could pick stuff up with them, you know what I'm saying? But I ain't never snapped with them.

• 5:50Speaker 02

I'm very versatile in the feet department.

• 5:52Keke Palmer?

I like that, I like that. Okay, well, thank you guys for doing the questionnaires. How has it been being back since being in the villa where y'all had no time zones? I mean, you didn't know what day was what. What was it like when you just got settled back into being at home?

• 6:07Speaker 02

I wouldn't even say like settled, it was just so stressful. Like, um, I have like all my stuff in my car right now, trying to move, uh, moving from hotel to hotel, so. Trying to even get that like, uh, personal time with Alandria or like, you know, Taylor, friends, it's, it's been hard, so.

• 6:23Keke Palmer?

  Mm-hmm.

• 6:24Speaker 02

Um, just trying to get into like the groove of things.

• 6:26Keke Palmer?

Yeah, I mean, that's real, that's what I would expect, cause you've been traveling too. Like right now, you're, you're here, but you live in.

• 6:33Speaker 02

I don't, I guess my parents' house is in Jacksonville.

• 6:35Keke Palmer?

  In Jacksonville, yeah.

• 6:36Speaker 02

I need to find a, I need to find a place, like, soon.

• 6:39Keke Palmer?

So now you're kind of in L.A.

• 6:40Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 6:40Keke Palmer?

  Yeah, and you like it?

• 6:41Speaker 02

  I love it.

• 6:42Keke Palmer?

  I love that.

• 6:43Speaker 02

Mostly because of the people that are here. Ace is in, you know, Ace is here. Um, Chris, Brian, Amaya.

• 6:50Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 6:50Speaker 02

  So, it's the people.

• 6:52Keke Palmer?

What about you? How's it been for you since being back? Were you spending some time in Oklahoma?

• 6:55Speaker 01

I spent three days back home.

• 6:57Keke Palmer?

  Just three days?

• 6:58Speaker 01

Just three days, since I, since I left the villa.

• 7:00Keke Palmer?

And then where'd you go right away from there, to L.A.?

• 7:02Speaker 01

Yeah, so I left the villa, came here. Was here for like, what, five days or so, five or six days or so. Went home for three days. Now I'm back out here, and I leave here, go to the Hamptons.

• 7:13Keke Palmer?

Now what you doing in the Hamptons? Is that work too, or you get to chill?

• 7:15Speaker 01

  No, that's work.

• 7:16Keke Palmer?

That's work. Yeah, I mean, you guys are all over now.

• 7:19Speaker 02

Working in the Hamptons, that's tough, that's tough.

• 7:22Speaker 02

  Life is so hard.

• 7:23Keke Palmer?

I mean, it's like, you guys are now full influencer lifestyle.

• 7:26Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 7:26Keke Palmer?

I mean, was it what you expected? Is it fun? Are you just kind of like, dang, what did I get myself into?

• 7:32Speaker 01

Ain't a lot. It's fun, like, doing all this, you know, influencer stuff and making appearances and stuff, but it's just like, at the end of the day, y'all, like, I still miss my horse, I still miss rodeo and like...

• 7:43Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 7:44Speaker 01

  Bro.

• 7:45Speaker 02

I thought you just post on Instagram and that's that, but no, it's like, right when you wake up to right when you fall asleep, it's like, calls all day, so...

• 7:52Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 7:52Speaker 02

But it's, it's fun, it's like intriguing and it's a new lifestyle, so...

• 7:56Keke Palmer?

I mean, have you guys watched any of the show? I know you seeing memes online and clips and every now and then, but when I was talking to Shelley and Alontra, they're like, they didn't watch any of the show yet. Is it the same for you guys? Have you watched any episodes?

• 8:06Speaker 01

Yeah, hell, I ain't seen not one episode of...

• 8:10Speaker 02

  I watched the finale, so...

• 8:13Keke Palmer?

  Okay.

• 8:14Speaker 02

  Nothing else.

• 8:15Keke Palmer?

You guys, it's so crazy when y'all don't watch the show, because we want to know, was this really accurate for that day, but y'all can't even tell us?

• 8:21Speaker 01

Well, you tell me and I tell you.

• 8:25Keke Palmer?

So, okay, let's start with you did see the finale.

• 8:28Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 8:28Keke Palmer?

How surprised were you at the finale and the outcome of the finale? Like, did you expect Amaya to win?

• 8:33Speaker 02

She was like, she honestly, yeah, I expected her to win.

• 8:36Keke Palmer?

  You did?

• 8:37Speaker 02

Yeah, yeah, I wanted her to win too. Like, seeing how genuine her and Brian are, they're like, they're really sweet together, they love each other. And I just, I know what Amaya's been through, so to see her come on top, like, I don't think anybody else deserved it, to be honest.

• 8:52Keke Palmer?

Aw, that's really sweet. What about you? Were you surprised?

• 8:54Speaker 01

Nah, I wasn't surprised. Like, I, I expected her to win.

• 8:57Keke Palmer?

  What made you expect it?

• 8:59Speaker 01

Just the way like, she wasn't, it was like, everybody loved Amaya, you know, so...

• 9:05Keke Palmer?

And that was so crazy because at the beginning, I felt like, it was like, didn't nobody want to let my girl through? But then slowly as the show progressed, it was like, everybody started to fall back a little bit. That moment had happened, Brian came through, y'all became besties. Like, how did that switcheroo happen? Because maybe we didn't see it in the edit?

• 9:22Speaker 02

Yeah, I think like, in, in the beginning, I was dealing with a lot of my own [BLEEP]. And so I, I never got like the, am I allowed to cuss?

• 9:29Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 9:29Speaker 02

Alright, never, yeah, I never got to deal with like my own [BLEEP]. So, um, me and, Amaya and I never really got to have that close relationship till I kind of cleared my own situations. And once I got to know who she was, I'm like, alright, I love Sensitive Gangster, like, she's, she's funny as hell. And, uh, no, she's, she's so cool, sweet, loving, like, uh, amazing, amazing human.

• 9:53Keke Palmer?

Okay, I love that. I love it. Cause so much of this thing, you know, we don't get to see all the little intimate, intimate moments that you guys have. So a lot of times, stuff comes out of nowhere with us, which definitely want to get into this out of nowhere romance with you and Alondra. They gave us everything we needed and more. Uh, but it's interesting because there's so much that we, that we missed that you guys know. But quickly, I want to talk about y'all going to Disney and having an escort. And just like, how was that experience for you? And how had, what's been a highlight of all the things that you guys have been doing since being back?

• 10:22Speaker 02

I think Disney was a big highlight. We had like, uh, that was so new to us, like having an escort and not even being able to walk through the the main part of the park. And we had like, security and stuff, like, that that's so weird to me. Um, it's it's cool, it has like its pros and cons.

• 10:37Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 10:38Speaker 02

Uh, we got to skip the lines, Alandrew and I got to go on, you know, she doesn't really like the roller coasters that go up too fast.

• 10:44Keke Palmer?

  No!

• 10:44Speaker 02

Yeah, our stomachs were dropping, but uh, it was cool. We got to hang out with Ace, Shelley, Taylor and um, Clark. And we had to, that first time outside the villa was so nice.

• 10:54Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 10:54Speaker 02

It was it was nice to get out, but I think another moment too, was just Alandrew and I having our own time and having a movie night on the couch. Like, that's something I've wanted since, uh, a long time in the villa. Like, you don't really get to have that. So like, those little moments that you do in a regular life, is nice to have after the villa.

• 11:12Keke Palmer?

  What movie did y'all watch?

• 11:13Speaker 02

  We watched Madea.

• 11:14Keke Palmer?

Come on, Madea! I love Madea, baby. The new one, I just watched it too. What is it? Put it on the car. That movie was funny.

• 11:22Speaker 02

We didn't, we didn't watch the whole thing.

• 11:24Keke Palmer?

  Okay.

• 11:28Speaker 02

Cause I fell asleep, cause I fell asleep.

• 11:32Keke Palmer?

You was too funny. What about you? What were some highlights for you?

• 11:36Speaker 01

Definitely Disney. Especially like, going to Disney and just riding the rides and everything and hanging out with, you know, Nick, Ace, Shelley.

• 11:44Keke Palmer?

And being in the real world.

• 11:45Speaker 01

You feel me? It was way, it was way different.

• 11:48Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 11:48Speaker 01

And it was, it was so cool just be able to hang out with them outside the villa, like, no cameras, no mics, and we could just laugh and just be ourselves.

• 11:55Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 11:56Speaker 01

And just vibe, like, it was just super fun. And like, us riding rides by ourselves.

• 12:00Speaker 02

Like screaming, like, we were screaming louder than the girls were.

• 12:05Speaker 01

What ride was it? It was um...

• 12:07Speaker 02

The Guardians of the Galaxy one on, like, it's an elevator.

• 12:10Keke Palmer?

And it's different every time. Sometimes you're like, okay, it's actually over, then they bring you back up and put you back down. That stomach thing is scary, but it's fun though.

• 12:17Speaker 01

And it was literally just me and him riding it, so we...

• 12:19Speaker 02

  Screaming, like...

• 12:20Speaker 01

And they're just having fun by ourselves, like, just kicking it, so like...

• 12:24Keke Palmer?

What was y'all family saying to y'all after seeing you guys on the show? Were they, they say like, oh, why did you do this? Or what did you, cause I'm sure they watched it.

• 12:32Speaker 01

So they, what they told me, it was like, I'm glad you ain't changed who you was when you were on the show. Like, they were like, I'm glad you were still your goofy self, like your, your funny self and... Like, you didn't change who you was. I was like, nah, like, no matter where I'm gonna be at, like, I'm still gonna be me at the end of the day.

• 12:47Keke Palmer?

Right. What about your fam and friends?

• 12:50Speaker 02

I think, like, in the villa, when I was, you know, swallowing milk and doing all this crazy I kinda was looking back and I'm like, oh my god, my parents are gonna be so, like, disappointed in me. And when I got out of the villa, eh, they were just so supportive. And, like, even my dad, he doesn't watch reality. He watched every episode, reading all the vlogs, doing like,

• 13:09Keke Palmer?

  I live for that.

• 13:10Speaker 02

Vlogs, vlogs, YouTube, like, and now he's still updating me on stuff that, like, I'm, I, I don't even see. So, um, having that support is huge.

• 13:18Keke Palmer?

Well, I know Clark already went and visited Oklahoma. I mean, are there trips planned for Alandria to get into those meatballs and to meet your dad?

• 13:27Speaker 02

  That's crazy.

• 13:28Speaker 01

She already got into the meatballs clothes.

• 13:31Speaker 02

No, she, uh, we have a trip planned, uh, to Greece, like, so.

• 13:36Keke Palmer?

What? Y'all are going to Greece?

• 13:37Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 13:38Keke Palmer?

Now, wait a minute, you gotta get into how did y'all plan this? This is giving everything.

• 13:42Speaker 02

Yeah, we, uh, it's, it's kinda like a half, half-work thing, half-vacation. She's never been to Europe. Um, that's like, my, my, uh, my dad's from Belgium, so to show her, like, a piece of Europe is gonna be beautiful. She's bringing a friend, and, uh, we're gonna be, you know, working and having fun at the same time, so.

• 13:59Keke Palmer?

Oh, my gosh. Now, when she was on the show, she was very, you know, saying how you guys are experiencing, obviously, everybody loves Nicky Landria. But she was saying, you know, y'all wanna go at y'all own pace.

• 14:08Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 14:08Keke Palmer?

But it does seem that you guys have been, you know, moving along. Like, are we exclusive exclusive? How we dropped the L-bomb? Like, what's the tea?

• 14:16Speaker 02

  The L-bomb, love.

• 14:23Keke Palmer?

Baby, I had a vision so clear, it hit me like a pool noodle to the face. My perfect Labor Day weekend laid out in HD. There I am, floating like a queen on my inflatable throne at golden hour, when the smell of something heavenly hits my nose. My best friend is in the kitchen of our Airbnb, channeling her inner Gordon Ramsay, but with actual seasoning. Not a sad room service sandwich in sight. She's serving up her best attempt at recreating one of the lovely chef Teeny's recipe. Hey, girl. Last summer, I booked one of those gorgeous Airbnbs that I found through their guest favorites. If I had a gourmet kitchen for our potluck dinners and a huge living room from where we could spread out for our game night and catch up. During the day, we were lounging by our private pool.

• 15:07Keke Palmer?

And at night, we were stargazing from the deck with snacks and stories. That's the magic of Airbnb. You get these perfect spaces to really connect with your friends. If you're planning an end of summer getaway, consider an Airbnb guest favorite. These are some of the most highly rated homes on Airbnb. Perfect for group trips or family vacations. I mean, you get more space, privacy, and better locations than you can shake a vacation selfie stick at.

• 15:38Keke Palmer?

Y'all, when I tell you this season is serving everything we need, tears, laughter, romance, and those jaw-dropping moments

• 16:22Keke Palmer?

• 16:37Speaker 02

Um, we're not exclusive yet, but uh, the pace is going really strong. It's been hard, too, like with every, all, every day is so busy.

• 16:47Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 16:47Speaker 02

Um, so that's why I'm looking forward to this trip this weekend. It's gonna be that time to like have that one-on-one and uh, you know, get to a place where we can drop bombs like that.

• 16:57Keke Palmer?

Yeah, but it's been really good to see you guys. We're living for it online. I seen this one clip on the side of her up in the bathroom. I was like, what's going on with that?

• 17:04Speaker 02

  Oh, the Snapchat?

• 17:05Keke Palmer?

I was like, now what y'all doing? But it's very cute. What about you and Clark? Have y'all made it official, exclusive, or you guys are just taking time?

• 17:14Speaker 01

Yeah, we've been exclusive since we left.

• 17:15Keke Palmer?

Woo, still exclusive tight end. Are we saying love?

• 17:19Speaker 01

  Maybe.

• 17:21Speaker 02

  Come on, bro.

• 17:22Speaker 01

  Hell, yeah.

• 17:24Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 17:25Speaker 02

  What?

• 17:25Keke Palmer?

  Wow.

• 17:26Speaker 02

  I didn't know that.

• 17:26Keke Palmer?

I gotta tell you, man, I was literally, you were definitely one of my favorite guys on the show. Like, from the beginning with Alandria, I loved her, I loved you. Um, but obviously, when you started talking to Clark, you know, it was like different, it was like night and day.

• 17:39Speaker 01

With Clark, I wanna say we're just more like, our conversations were more chill, more funny, more like, where I could just crack jokes and just laugh and it was like a more like a chill, back, relax, relaxed conversations I was having with Clark.

• 17:53Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 17:54Speaker 01

And like, when I would try to leave Clark to like, go get ready for the day, I couldn't. Like, we'll have more and more conversations. Like, one day, we talked from literally breakfast to lunch. And I told her three times between that time, like, yo, I gotta go get ready for, for the day. Like, I ain't brushed my teeth yet.

• 18:09Keke Palmer?

  Right.

• 18:09Speaker 01

And we still just chopping it up, chopping it up, chopping it up, chopping it up. So it was just like, at that point, like, when we first had that conversation like that, I was like, damn, like, it's something there, I literally tried to leave you three times, I brushed my teeth and I can't, you know? So I was like, yo, is there something there? And...

• 18:24Keke Palmer?

And with Alandria, when that, when that connection was happening, what were you thinking in your mind about what you were gonna be saying to her? Or, or did you even pause and think, and maybe it's just 'cause she's here right now. Maybe when I see Alandria again, it, it, it, the park's gonna come back.

• 18:37Speaker 01

See, and the crazy thing is, so like, when Casa first happened, and I chose Coco and I had a conversation with Coco.

• 18:43Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 18:43Speaker 01

We were in the bathroom, had our conversation, and I was like, bro, this remind me of Alandria all over again. Like, I'm talking to Alandria all over again, Alandria was still in my head.

• 18:52Keke Palmer?

  Okay.

• 18:53Speaker 01

And they were just like, yo, like, this is, like, this is the experience, this is Casa, like, we need you to go out there and just like, Ariana said, forget about everything, like, start clean slate.

• 19:02Keke Palmer?

Ariana love telling y'all, forget about everything.

• 19:05Speaker 02

  She loves saying that.

• 19:05Keke Palmer?

  She love doing that.

• 19:06Speaker 01

And I was like, they, like, they could remind me, like, yo, like, this is Casa, like, this is what the experience is for, is for, like, to see if, like, that's really real, and like, if you could find something else.

• 19:15Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 19:16Speaker 01

And so I was like, right, but the whole time, Ace was like, like, how do you feel sleeping in the bed with somebody else? And I was like, bro, it felt weird, like, I miss Alandria, you know? And we're just like... Getting that, me getting Alandria out of my head from U-T to even like Explorer Clark, it was weird, but it was something that I had to do. And, but like at the end of the day, like, I really didn't want to swear to anybody, I was like, I miss Alandria, y'all, like. Alandria stayed in my head and they kept saying like, you gotta get her out your head, you can't.

• 19:45Keke Palmer?

We didn't even get to see that enough. Like I've been seeing some, maybe some moments, but it did seem like, dang, he met Clark and Alandria was gone. So it's interesting to hear you say that and to see the process of what it took for you to get to that place. Um, well, I want to come back, there's a lot I still want to unpack with this, but, we gotta talk about you and Ciara because that was your girl up in the house, you know what I'm saying? This was your boy too, so I mean, is your guy. So with him with Alandria and then you having those feelings, I'm just curious for you, like, how it got to you just sticking with Ciara, even though you was open, obviously with Casamor and you, you kind of always seemed a little open. You was focused on Ciara, but you definitely was like, hey, whatever's gonna happen. But to know that in the back of your head, you had these feelings for Alandria and she was with Taylor, I mean,

• 20:30Keke Palmer?

how were you dealing with that and, and struggling with that? And did you talk about it more times than we knew?

• 20:35Speaker 02

Hmm, I think at, at that point, like, my focus was Ciara.

• 20:39Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 20:40Speaker 02

I think we had that like really strong connection and that's what led us to become exclusive. Um, in regards to Alandria, it was like, the, those past weeks in the villa was so rough and like, uh, so demanding on the mind and everything. The pieces to the puzzle started falling into place as like the process kept moving on. And so, um, you know, through the situation and the relationship with Ciara, and how things unfolded after that, that's when I like took a step back and was like, all right, Alandria is like a person that I want to explore now.

• 21:11Keke Palmer?

I know for me, I kept seeing you, you definitely was picking her in all the challenges. It was getting to the point where I was telling Alandria, I'm like, it was like, they not letting my girl go and every challenge, they're on my girl. But at the same time, it was like, okay, what does it mean? And so it was interesting when she was saying, she maybe thought she wasn't your type, even despite all of those advances.

• 21:30Speaker 02

Well, I think since minute one of the villa, I was like, this is someone I'm interested in. Uh, whether she knows it or like when she kissed me on the heart the first day. Like whether she knew it or not, like how can Alandra not be someone's type?

• 21:41Keke Palmer?

That's exact, and that's one thousand percent true.

• 21:43Speaker 02

Like who, I don't know who.

• 21:44Keke Palmer?

Who wouldn't be, no, it's for real.

• 21:46Speaker 02

So, and I even told Taylor, like, maybe it was a few weeks in, like Alandra is someone I've been wanting to explore. Like I'm hurt, like that's someone I secretly admire. And, I mean, I don't remember what you said, but, um, probably, probably was awkward.

• 22:02Keke Palmer?

Yeah, yeah, right. I'm sure everything is going so fast, and this is actually how it happens with life. I know that's why they be talking about online with the, what is it, the whole string thing?

• 22:12Speaker 02

  Yeah, the string, invisible string.

• 22:13Keke Palmer?

Invisible strings, sometimes everything does go like that in life, where things just line up and it has to happen the way that it happens, so.

• 22:19Speaker 02

And that's why I'm keeping the tattoo, uh, cause it came full circle, so, uh, it worked out.

• 22:24Keke Palmer?

Well, obviously y'all third isn't here, of y'all, Tress Letches, Ace, he ain't here. And you said he's, what did you say, he's, um, six two?

• 22:33Speaker 02

When he, when he standing on his money, seven two.

• 22:36Speaker 01

Okay! He standing on his money, seven two, yeah.

• 22:38Keke Palmer?

  Yes!

• 22:39Speaker 01

  Little kneecaps.

• 22:44Keke Palmer?

How did that friendship begin? I mean, obviously y'all experienced one of the most unique experiences you could spend with somebody, but like, what was it like with you guys up in the house kicking it? In moments that maybe we didn't see?

• 22:54Speaker 01

Man, for me, it was like, from day one, me and Ace connected on the sense of humor. And, like, we'll cite movie lines from, from Life, Baby Boy, like, we'll just cite movie lines from.

• 23:08Keke Palmer?

  Come on, Baby Boy, yes!

• 23:09Speaker 01

Every movie possible, me and Ace would be citing movie lines, and they could be like, he would say, I'm so left out, I don't get what y'all saying. And like, I think what really started is Ace set a movie line from Life, we were in the bathroom one day.

• 23:22Keke Palmer?

  Such a classic.

• 23:23Speaker 01

And I cited one right back, and he, I don't think he expected that, and that's how we just vod, we were citing, citing movie lines, laughing, and P*** went on in the villa. Like, well, P*** went on the villa, and me and Ace look at each other right away and just, like, side eye each other, like, yeah, like, do you see that? We were like, hell yeah, like, we would talk through our eyes without saying, and I, I could understand everything he's saying.

• 23:43Keke Palmer?

Hilarious. And then how'd you find your way in? Because they was leaving you out with the movie quotes.

• 23:47Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 23:48Keke Palmer?

  Somehow.

• 23:49Speaker 02

I feel like the first two days, it was like Jeremiah, Taylor and Ace were getting along so well. And I was just kinda like, oh, like I don't wanna be here. And, cuz for me, it was like the friendships are as important. You're spending so much time together.

• 24:03Keke Palmer?

  So true.

• 24:03Speaker 02

But then, I think at a point, I started just to be myself and like started bringing out a side to him. Like that was just crazy, like crazy. And with Ace too, like, you know, he's this like dude from LA. And I felt like I drew out like a side of him that doesn't come out often. And I think we really, just like laughing all day, all night together. And when you spend a lot of time together, it just becomes like the friendship we have now. And it becomes the Three Stooges.

• 24:33Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 24:33Speaker 02

Ed, Ed and Eddie, whatever you wanna call it.

• 24:35Keke Palmer?

  Okay.

• 24:35Speaker 02

  Team Leader Ace.

• 24:36Keke Palmer?

Yeah, no, we have to talk about Team Leader Ace. Because again, when I was talking with Shelley and Landry, it was a total, she said it was a total different experience. Both of them did, as to what we, the viewers were watching at home. Because I'm telling you, it seemed like he was up in there being like, this what we doing? And if we don't do, like it seemed, I don't know why it gave that vibe. But it seemed like he was up in there calling some shots. I'm like, does he, is he dating a producer? Because he's like getting these things aligned. But for y'all, y'all didn't feel that way. So like, what did, I know y'all didn't watch the episodes, but what did we miss?

• 25:05Speaker 02

First of all, everyone thinks we're like Ace's minions. Cuz when we're sending Austin and Jeremiah home, everybody thinks that like, I voted for Jeremiah to leave. And like they're like, how the hell?

• 25:15Keke Palmer?

And I thought that was your boy.

• 25:16Speaker 02

Nah, during that thing, I said Jeremiah, like I want him to stay if there's a 5% chance to stay with Andrina. And so, like seeing all that online, I'm trying to like hold it in till the reunion. And I mean, like trying to let Jeremiah know as well.

• 25:32Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 25:33Speaker 02

You know, I'm trying. I don't know, but it was a group decision and like I had, I, I wasn't about to go tell Jeremiah, "Hey, bro, I, I voted for you," like, um, to get on his side. We had to make that decision as a group. So, I kind of just like stood on that business and like made it a group thing, like, "Yeah, we voted you off."

• 25:51Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 25:52Speaker 02

Instead of, uh, me going to him and saying, "Oh, Austin, I voted you off."

• 25:55Keke Palmer?

But I mean, at the same time, it is, Love Island is Love Island, but Love Island is also a game. So I think also what it came across too sometimes was that Ace was thinking about, not that he wasn't thinking about love, but he was thinking about the, the game and like, what's best for us as a unit? Do you think that he maybe was one of the only people in the house? That was kind of taking that initiative and that's what made it seem like that? Was everybody else coasting?

• 26:16Speaker 01

Nah, I wouldn't say that. It was just more like, Ace wasn't even really the ringleader or anything. Like that whole conversation where like we sent Jeremiah home, it was mainly me talking the whole conversation.

• 26:28Speaker 01

But I don't think y'all saw that. But literally like it was mainly me talking the whole conversation. It was just weird because it was like, he, he didn't see what me and Ace was seeing. Like, he did not see that at all.

• 26:40Keke Palmer?

  With the Jeremiah piece?

• 26:41Speaker 01

  With the Jeremiah.

• 26:42Keke Palmer?

And I honestly didn't either. Like, what was it really looking like with Jeremiah Hood? Did y'all really feel like they were just doing it for the fun? Like, they were just like trying to get to the end?

• 26:51Speaker 01

I don't know, to be honest. I really can't answer that question.

• 26:53Keke Palmer?

  You got an idea.

• 26:55Speaker 01

I don't, I really don't know because like, literally like day one, like, we, we all kissed everybody that came to us. Jeremiah didn't kiss, was it Ulyssa?

• 27:04Speaker 02

  Hmm, I, I don't remember.

• 27:06Speaker 01

I don't know. But whatever his, his second kiss was, he didn't, he just gave a kiss on the cheeks. I'm like, okay, I think he just locked in with his person, whatever. But then we keep having a conversation with Jeremiah, like, for the first two weeks, like, "Bro, go explore, go like..."

• 27:18Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 27:19Speaker 01

He was like, the feelings is mutual between me and Hood, like, we just locked in, so, okay, I guess the feelings is mutual.

• 27:25Keke Palmer?

And y'all just felt like that wasn't good. That wasn't good enough. He wasn't good for you.

• 27:28Speaker 01

Nah, because like Love Island, you're supposed to explore every situation possible. You know, like, that's what Love Island is for. And he wasn't doing it, so it was like, we tried-

• 27:36Keke Palmer?

  Say y'all want any more?

• 27:38Speaker 01

It wasn't even that we wouldn't know if it's an island, it was just like when the whole Andrina situation came up. Everything that he did with Huda, day one, he was repeating with Andrina.

• 27:47Keke Palmer?

But it did seem like, and I feel like Jeremiah was saying some of this stuff on the podcast he's been talking to where it's like, okay. Y'all wanted me to get up off Huda, so when I finally got up off Huda, I got up on Andrina.

• 28:01Keke Palmer?

And then when I got up on Andrina, y'all was still like, no Jeremiah, wrong move.

• 28:06Speaker 01

See, no, that's the problem. He was like, he came to me, he was like, y'all get mad when I hoop? And when I don't hoop, y'all mad? I said, that's not the problem. I said, you can hoop, it's just the way you hoop. You feel me?

• 28:16Speaker 02

I feel like, I didn't really have a problem with it. I was like, yeah.

• 28:19Keke Palmer?

I mean, that was your boy. It seemed like you supported him.

• 28:21Speaker 02

He's making out with Andrina. I didn't really see it as love bombing. It was just for like Taylor and Ace, it was more like the things that he was doing with Huda, cutting off every single woman. And then you see like uh, the hickey thing where Jeremiah has a hickey and it's like you're cutting off every single bombshell that comes in here by having that on your neck.

• 28:39Keke Palmer?

He kinda was blowing up the spot.

• 28:41Speaker 02

So I think for him, it wasn't, maybe, who knows what his intentions were with Andrina? But um, at the end of the day, it was like how he moved in the past that like judged his, you know, judged the way he was gonna move in the future.

• 28:53Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 28:54Speaker 02

Um, but like, I think in my opinion, like I just wanted to give him a chance over Austin because if it was real, any chance that it was real, then I believe in like that over, you know, someone who doesn't have a connection.

• 29:09Keke Palmer?

Did you hear about what Jeremiah was saying before where it kinda seemed like y'all, he wasn't really necessarily trying to be cool with you? I know you said you was open to being cool and y'all did see each other recently. What was the?

• 29:19Speaker 02

  Hannah's, Hannah's birthday?

• 29:20Keke Palmer?

Hannah's birthday. What was it like when y'all saw each other, you know?

• 29:25Speaker 02

I mean, like, we didn't really interact. It's like, yeah, there was a lot of, not because we have any disdain towards each other, it was more like we're in the same place and we're just chilling there, having a good time. I wasn't really focused on like the drama or anything.

• 29:38Keke Palmer?

Yeah. How much of it, because obviously, again, it's called Love Island, but it's also like, it's friends. Like, and if people aren't liking how you're moving, that can also affect how connections are being made and when that voting comes around. Like, it's like America's voting, but the islanders is voting too. When did y'all start being aware of that and thinking about like how you're gonna like, again, not play the game, but survive the experience, I guess?

• 30:01Speaker 01

For me, it wasn't even surviving the experience. It was just. Find my love, find the girl that I want, and whenever I leave is when I leave. You know, so. That's why I wasn't even tripping like when I left for Clark, cuz it was like. I found my person, so I didn't care less about the money. I don't need the money. You feel me? Just as long as I leave with my person, I'm good.

• 30:21Keke Palmer?

And I mean, y'all stayed for a long time.

• 30:23Speaker 01

  We did.

• 30:24Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 30:24Speaker 01

So, just as long as I found my person, that's all that mattered to me. It didn't matter how, how America saw me. It didn't matter. Even like how the Villa saw me. Just as long as I found my person, that's all I really wanted.

• 30:34Keke Palmer?

  What about you?

• 30:35Speaker 02

I feel like America always voted in such a different way than we could have predicted. That like, you couldn't really do, like, you couldn't really move in the Villa in a way that you would think America's gonna vote. If you know what I mean?

• 30:48Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 30:48Speaker 02

Like, eh, anything you could, you do could be perceived in a different way. So it's like, why change the course of things for something that you can't predict?

• 30:56Keke Palmer?

Yeah, very smart way to think about it because honestly, what we were even seeing was not the full story. To the foot voting, which is.

• 31:03Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 31:04Keke Palmer?

  It's crazy.

• 31:04Speaker 02

Like, thinking about how you're gonna move and like, uh, planning stuff is just, that's draining. You're doing that. What are you gonna do that for 24 hours a day?

• 31:12Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 31:12Speaker 02

For two months? Like, that's just not possible.

• 31:14Keke Palmer?

I mean, some people have also accused certain islanders of being too programmed. Specifically, they've said that about Ciara. Like, oh, she seemed too, like, perfectly for the house. Like, did y'all feel that in the house? That she was being very, like, ready for TV? Or do you think that maybe she was misread on TV?

• 31:30Speaker 02

I feel like between the conversations between her and I, it was always like authentic. I didn't, I never really got that vibe.

• 31:36Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 31:36Speaker 02

I feel like when you're with a person that many hours in a day, you can get a read on that. But, you know, I, I never know what people say in confessionals. I haven't seen the show. Um, or what they're saying to other people. So, it's. But just based off my one-on-one experience, it's like, she was never, you know, fake in my opinion, or. Or else I wouldn't have chosen to be exclusive with her.

• 31:57Speaker 01

For me too, like I didn't think she was programmed for TV like. My conversation I had with her and like hanging out with her and Nick, we was having like regular chill conversations.

• 32:06Speaker 02

  Just kicking it.

• 32:07Speaker 01

Exactly, so it wasn't like, oh like she's saying this so American, American like her, you feel me? It was nothing like that, like she's just a cool chill person and so.

• 32:16Keke Palmer?

How'd y'all feel about her leaving? Cause Shelly and Alandria telling them that they didn't tell you guys, like it was like kinda like she's gone and y'all just had to keep moving.

• 32:23Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 32:24Keke Palmer?

So what me, and also with you, it was like, cause we wanna see the impact like, cause like that was your girl, but then it was kinda like, she's gone and. Now I'm on to love, new love, you know, but that probably really wasn't what it was, it's just not what we saw, so. How did that moment hit all of you guys and you specifically?

• 32:40Speaker 02

I mean, that moment hit hard, like when you don't know what the reasons are, but I was like truly considering leaving, but. At the same time, you don't know whether or not, like if I were to leave and the values of. What, whatever that situation was, don't align with me, the, I mean, that's, that's the reason I stayed and chose to kept continuing my like. Journey in Love Island because I don't know what it was and I don't know if that's something that aligns with me. And so that's when like this whole, um, like journey with Alandria started and honestly, looking back on it like. It was, it was a really great decision.

• 33:19Keke Palmer?

Mm-hmm, and how did you feel just quickly when, when you saw him and Alandria's relationship budding? Was there a side moment, it's bros, where y'all went to the side and he was like, I'm really about to pursue this dude, you know, or, or was it just like, hey? I'm so over here with Clark, whatever goes, like what was your vibe?

• 33:35Speaker 01

It was more of like, that's what Love Island is for. It's for to test every connection possible and knowing like him and Alandria, Alandria picked him day one. And then chose me and then they always faced each other in challenges, you know, it was just like, maybe there's something is there and he had a conversation with me, he asked me like, yo, you care about a sport with Alandria? And I'm like, nah, go ahead, cause it's like, I'm exploring Clark, so I can't get mad at you for exploring someone else when I'm exploring someone else, you feel me?

• 33:57Keke Palmer?

Did you feel like, looking back like, damn, did, like, did it all start to make sense that maybe they did have a connection? Cause again, we didn't see everything.

• 34:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 34:06Keke Palmer?

  Wow.

• 34:07Speaker 02

  I told him like.

• 34:08Keke Palmer?

He was plotting on you, no shit.

• 34:09Speaker 01

Nah, he wasn't. Cause he did tell me like week one, week two, like Alandria is very attractive, like I'm attracted to Alandria tonight.

• 34:17Keke Palmer?

  Because she is fine.

• 34:18Speaker 02

I would let him know like on a weekly basis, like except when I was exclusive. But uh, like this isn't like a surprise.

• 34:25Keke Palmer?

But y'all kinda hurt my feelings when y'all had that moment. And then y'all both was like, and it seemed scripted, and not literally scripted, but y'all seemed like y'all wasn't being genuine. When y'all were like, yeah, I guess, you know, it's best friends, stay friends.

• 34:37Speaker 01

  I don't think.

• 34:37Keke Palmer?

It was cool when it came back around because I'm like, when y'all said that to each other after y'all kissed, you know what I'm talking about? When you guys win, you were like, we should kiss outside the challenge. But then y'all decided not to do it in that moment. I was kinda like, now wait a damn minute.

• 34:48Speaker 02

Are you talking about the soul ties kiss?

• 34:49Keke Palmer?

  Yes.

• 34:50Speaker 01

I don't, I don't think it was mainly like, it wasn't nothing there. I think it was just Alandria had me in the back of her head and he has hair in the back of his head.

• 34:57Keke Palmer?

And that's what she said. That's what Alandria said.

• 34:58Speaker 02

And I think looking back on those videos, it was like watching the damn Super Bowl with like all the watch parties and stuff. I was like, that was so cool looking back on that. But uh, no, it's, yeah, looking back on that, it's different.

• 35:10Keke Palmer?

Yeah, no, I was happy that you guys came around to it because it seemed like it was so much to get to that point and then you guys were turned away. But then obviously now we have Nick and Landry and y'all, y'all found the courage to, you know, jump over that hoop. I do wanna talk about, I know everybody always talks about the Hood and Jeremiah thing, but you guys very much so did hold Hood accountable in the house. Like I saw, like you were like, you know, you let her know, we want you to stay, but also girl like you don't seem to be having fun, Miss Girl. Like it seems to be nothing but drama. Um, and you also did the same thing. I'm curious how you guys felt seeing her on the podcast recently? Talking about how she felt like nobody was there for her, you know, she was bullied the whole show. I mean, you know, she was really, you know, pretty much saying that didn't nobody have her back at all. How did y'all feel about that?

• 35:54Speaker 01

I ain't seen none of her podcast, so you.

• 35:56Keke Palmer?

You ain't heard about none of this?

• 35:57Speaker 01

  Nah, but.

• 35:58Keke Palmer?

She specifically said you were, no, I'm just playing.

• 36:00Speaker 01

  You getting messy, nah.

• 36:04Keke Palmer?

But she did, ultimately she, I'm not gonna quote her to the T. But she was saying that she felt bullied on the show. So my question is, did y'all feel she was bullied?

• 36:13Speaker 01

I mean, not to me. Like I tried to hear her kind of before, oh, her bull. You feel me, like, I was like, yo, if you go back to Jeremiah and there's another vote and we gotta pick, I ain't picking your ass. I'm sending you home.

• 36:24Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 36:24Speaker 01

You feel me? So like, I always keep it, I was probably like, one of them A1s that kept it a hundred with her and told her what it is and what it ain't.

• 36:30Keke Palmer?

Yeah, yeah. And what about you?

• 36:32Speaker 02

I always try to like, keep it P with her and so, like, tell her straight up how I felt about her and Jeremiah. Like, I said it many times that that relationship was so draining on me, like, week two. And, um...

• 36:43Keke Palmer?

Do you think that bullying comment was made towards the girls?

• 36:46Speaker 02

I think it was definitely more towards the girls. I think Huda and I had a conversation with Chris about how she was feeling, that the girls were ganging up on her. But, um, I don't like if there's bullying, like, I'm not for that at all. I don't know if there was bullying or not, but at some point...

• 37:01Keke Palmer?

  But you didn't see any?

• 37:03Speaker 02

I think, no, but at some point, I do think it was definitely divided between the girls and Huda. And I don't know, I don't know if it's called bullying, but um, there were reasons for that, and maybe the girls were grouping up together on her. I don't support that. I told even Ciara, like, just relax on her, she's still a girl at the end of the day, she has emotions. And, um, yeah, so...

• 37:25Keke Palmer?

Yeah, so you did feel like there was some separation?

• 37:27Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 37:28Keke Palmer?

You maybe don't know exactly if there was bullying, but there was a moment in time where everybody was, that did isolate a Huda, apparently?

• 37:33Speaker 02

I would say there's some separation, maybe for appropriate reason.

• 37:37Keke Palmer?

Okay, you wanna add to that?

• 37:39Speaker 01

  Nah, you got it.

• 37:40Keke Palmer?

No. I know Shelly and Alandria unfollowed, like, they're not following online. I mean, that's your baby Boogie Boogie Tuck. Alandria, yeah, she's your baby Boogie Boogie Tuck.

• 37:48Speaker 02

  Oh, baby girl.

• 37:50Keke Palmer?

So are you, do you, how do you, where do you stand with Huda, knowing where she stands with Huda?

• 38:01Keke Palmer?

Remember when Paris and Nicole had to learn about the simple life? Well, I just found its perfect opposite in Rich Girl Summer, the new Audible original that had me canceling all my plans just to keep listening. Uh! Here's the tea. Valerie, this down-on-her-luck event planner, finds herself pretending to be a socialite's long-lost daughter up in Toronto's fancy cottage country. But baby, between uncovering family secrets and falling for the impossibly handsome family assistant Nico, she's about to learn that some summers change everything. And when I tell you the narration is everything, Hamilton's Philippa Sue brings this romance to life in a way that'll have you swooning poolside, beachside, or wherever your summer takes you. I was absolutely in over my head with this one, just like Valerie, and loving every minute of it.

• 38:55Speaker 02

I mean, I'm, I'm, I still follow Huda on Instagram. We're friends, like, even though I voted her off twice.

• 39:00Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 39:00Speaker 02

Like, we're still cool. We're still cool.

• 39:04Speaker 02

I don't really know what, like, the situation between Huda and Alandria, but, I mean, Huda and I are cool, and Alandria doesn't have a problem with it, so that's fine by me.

• 39:13Keke Palmer?

Yeah. And then what about you? Where you staying with Huda? You, you cool with her still? Y'all talk and stuff like that?

• 39:18Speaker 01

No, yeah, we're cool with her. I still talk. Like, that's my dog, like.

• 39:20Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 39:20Speaker 01

Whatever she need, like, you know, I'm gonna give you the best advice. And she knows she come to me and I ain't finished her a coke. You know, like, she's, she was like one of the bros to me.

• 39:31Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 39:32Speaker 01

And so I'm gonna tell her what it is and what it ain't. And we still cool.

• 39:37Keke Palmer?

You haven't watched the show. Doesn't seem like you watch too much of the podcast or the interviews. But I mean, in my mind, I'm like, y'all have to be talking about some of these things amongst each other. Like, when these bombs are dropped, the group chat has to be going up.

• 39:51Speaker 01

I think we gotta group chat.

• 39:52Keke Palmer?

  Y'all don't have one?

• 39:53Speaker 02

I think there's so many, like, weird tensions between certain people that, like, it's hard to have. I mean, for me, I like to be everyone's friend. Like, I don't have a problem with anybody.

• 40:02Keke Palmer?

Where the weird tensions coming from?

• 40:04Speaker 02

I mean, Jeremiah and Huda are definitely not friends.

• 40:06Keke Palmer?

  Okay.

• 40:07Speaker 02

  Uh, what else?

• 40:08Speaker 01

  Kristin and Huda shit.

• 40:09Speaker 02

Kristin and Huda definitely aren't friends. I think that's it.

• 40:14Keke Palmer?

There's clearly something with Shelley, Alandria, and Huda. I mean, there was maybe even something between Alandria. Not between Alandria and Clark, but there was some tension she had spoke about on the show. Had that, have they seen each other? Have y'all all been together?

• 40:26Speaker 01

  Nah, but.

• 40:27Keke Palmer?

  I guess y'all were.

• 40:27Speaker 01

But Alandria and Clark, but I don't think there's any tension between them, like. Clark has no problem with Alandria.

• 40:33Keke Palmer?

Yeah. I know when Alandria was on, she was talking about watching back on the show and feeling like Clark maybe was shady to her. Obviously, that's girls, you know.

• 40:41Speaker 01

See, and that's the thing. If y'all wa- if y'all watched that and y'all catch like that sah ah that everybody talking about. Clark was, Clark was in another swimsuit. She was in the same swimsuit they was before they cut that scene.

• 40:51Keke Palmer?

So you believe it's a setup with the producers?

• 40:54Speaker 01

That's not what I'm saying. See, now you're getting, now you're getting messy. And Clark is.

• 41:02Keke Palmer?

  How fling.

• 41:03Speaker 01

But I'm just saying, like. Clark was in another swimsuit. She was in that same swimsuit.

• 41:07Keke Palmer?

Okay, so maybe the storyline is the story lining is what you're saying?

• 41:10Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 41:10Keke Palmer?

Okay, but there is tension. So y'all don't even have a group chat because there are some tensions and some weirdness?

• 41:15Speaker 01

Nah, we just ain't even got a group chat. Like, we ain't even tried to put one together, to be honest. But I'm down to put one together for everybody to talk in a group chat.

• 41:24Speaker 02

  Some people aren't gonna speak.

• 41:26Speaker 01

  I don't think it's, I don't, I don't think it's gonna go too well, but.

• 41:28Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 41:29Speaker 01

I'm down for everybody to have a group chat, like, we have one big ass group chat and everybody, like.

• 41:34Keke Palmer?

Yeah, I mean, it'll be cute, but if it ain't happening, it ain't happening.

• 41:36Speaker 02

Oh, like, like Pepe and Hannah, I don't know if, like, they would talk, like.

• 41:40Speaker 01

  Oh, yeah.

• 41:41Keke Palmer?

  Wow.

• 41:42Speaker 02

Like, not because they don't like each, I don't know. Pass, I'm just like throwing out there.

• 41:46Keke Palmer?

Yeah, I mean, it's interesting when you were talking about the whole Huda stuff and everything, like. You were really honest with her, and I know with Shelley and Alandria, they felt like. Just that, some of the times when they were trying to be honest or do what maybe the guys would do. Their comments would be taken a little bit differently. Do you feel like that? Do you feel like, you know, they were kind of coming at the situations the same way as you guys, but they wouldn't get the same response?

• 42:09Speaker 01

Nah, I think it was more like, guys and girls think totally different. And so, like, when we give our response, it's not what they're thinking. Like, for the longest, we didn't understand why they say Hannah home.

• 42:21Speaker 01

Like even when they gave our explanation, we were like, we don't understand it. You know, so I think it's more of just like, we think totally different than girls do. And so when we give their opinion, it's not what they're wanting or what they want to hear. It throws them off, but it's just like, that's just what guys think, you know, like that's just what like I think.

• 42:40Keke Palmer?

Did they ever share with y'all how they felt as black women on the show? Like, was there ever a moment in time where they shared with any of y'all, like, oh, you know, feel like sometimes it's hard for me to say how I want to say, or how I be judged or perceived, or even just being, representing being black on reality TV in general?

• 42:54Speaker 01

No, I wouldn't even say that. I think me and ASAP were like, them conversations were just like, bro, like, we really can't talk how we really want to talk.

• 43:01Keke Palmer?

  Right.

• 43:02Speaker 01

Like, we can't say what we really want to say, cause then it's gonna get cut out, or they gonna be like, no, don't say that, don't talk like, you feel me?

• 43:09Keke Palmer?

Yeah, yeah, no, and I remember having that conversation with Serena too, uh, from last season about the same thing. Some of our language, culture, what we want to protect, how we want to present. I mean, so how did y'all handle it? I love to hear that you guys talked about it, because it's a, it's a thing, you know, where it's like, I'm, you know, I'm a minority, I'm representing in this space, like, what, how do I be me, but still make sure that I'm like honoring that, the platform that I'm being given? So, so how were y'all able to be together for each other in that time?

• 43:35Speaker 01

Um, like, if we had to say something, we'll look at each other and say it between, with the look of our eyes.

• 43:42Speaker 01

Like, that's how we, that's how we got things off, or we'll just mouth stuff to each other.

• 43:46Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 43:47Speaker 01

Like, he suck every lip, we try to talk to him every.

• 43:51Keke Palmer?

Niggas like, say what you're saying.

• 43:52Speaker 01

You feel me, he suck every lip, so like, a lot of the times, we had to go up and whisper it to him, but like, yeah, just like mouthing stuff and looking at each other and like reading each other's eyes. We say what we had to say.

• 44:02Keke Palmer?

Yeah, that's dope that you guys were able to talk about that, though.

• 44:05Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 44:05Keke Palmer?

Um, so, I mean, speaking of when people are being sent home and stuff like that, what, was it awkward for you guys, like afterwards? Or do they, for us, it seems like the producers literally tell y'all, "Time's up, no more tears, get on with the show." Like, that's, cause, cause you guys seem to have to, like, y'all move on, it's like, it's over with, you know? So like, what's really happening?

• 44:24Speaker 02

I think the, the first part of the show was so hard, cause it's like, so early in the process, and when I get sent home, you know, you're hugging your boys, you're trying to go to the photo booth to take your last picture, and they're like, Thirty minutes to pack your bags, get out. And uh, so it's like, you're trying to go as fast as possible. And um, yeah, it's like a relationship you built with your boys and you just kinda gotta

• 44:46Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 44:47Speaker 02

  head on to the airport.

• 44:48Keke Palmer?

I mean, when he, it was like, you, when, when uh, the whole thing happened when Alandria and him came back in, you went straight to Nick before you went to Nick. We was like, damn, what's going on?

• 44:59Speaker 01

Bro, I was so hurt when he left. Nah, cuz it's like, okay, I didn't know Alandria left. She in a whole different village.

• 45:04Keke Palmer?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 45:05Speaker 01

I'm with, I'm with, bro. We been with since day one. You feel me? So like, when he left, dog, I was like, ay. Like, one of the three students is gone. That'll be down to two. It was like a whole different, and then just hearing his voice, hearing him say, "Good morning, Islanders." Like, I was still in bed. I didn't wanna get up that day. When I heard his voice, I just jumped out of bed and went straight to Nick. I was like, damn, bro, I'm glad you back.

• 45:28Keke Palmer?

I mean, the bromance is do be strong. The bromance is do be strong. I'm not even mad at it. Now, we saw a lot of conflicting things, um, because Ace was saying that, you know, you would be telling him that, you know, that you cared about Alandria and that you really liked her. But a lot of times, that wasn't what we were seeing happening with you two. And then not to mention, you also apparently were, were like, trying to make sure that she stayed in the game. What was this? Yeah, you advocated to keep her, but we didn't see that either. So I'm just curious, because I do feel like it does seem like there was a lot kept out of you and Alandria's relationship that we didn't see that you cared about. And I know you didn't watch the show, so you don't know how it was edited.

• 46:03Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 46:04Keke Palmer?

But like, if there's any tea or anything that you can give us of what was happening in real time, of why it was conflicting with Ace and you advocating her, but we didn't see it.

• 46:13Speaker 01

Yes, like, I would have conversations with Ace about Alandria, like, yo, like, what should I do? Like, how should I move? And he'll give me advice, like, yo, do this, like, yo, she wanna go this morning, she cooking for you, dog, like, get your head in the game. I'm like, you right, like, let me get my head in the game. And like, with the whole, like, thing about me keeping her and not voting her off, like, when we had to vote on who to keep out, was it Vena, Coco, and her? My answer is, um, Alandria. Like, I wanna keep her. Like, that's something I still want to explore.

• 46:41Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 46:41Speaker 01

And like, I don't wanna just, like, I'm not throwing what we had that three weeks. I'm not finna just throw that [BLEEP] away. Like, we built a strong connection from three weeks. We went over. A lot of obstacles that hold three weeks.

• 46:53Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 46:54Speaker 01

And I really did like go to like her like the challenges with he out here kissing her. Lowkey, I'm like, it's a challenge, but in my head, I'm like, I'm mad as.

• 47:04Speaker 01

So it's just like, and he, and Nick's like, yeah, and Nick gonna do his big one, okay?

• 47:10Keke Palmer?

Yeah, he was definitely doing his big one.

• 47:11Speaker 01

You feel me, Nick doing his big one, so I'm like, damn, like, I'm lowkey mad she kissing somebody else, you know, but it's like, I'm like, damn, like, it's just a challenge, da da da, so, so that challenge, she got picked like, what, six times, back to back to back to back?

• 47:22Keke Palmer?

I'm telling you, my mom one time was watching the show with me, she's like, who's that girl? They won't let her go.

• 47:27Speaker 01

And I'm just like, yo, like, all right, y'all, I tell them, I want, like, bro, take her name out the damn, out the damn basket, like, her, take her beaver out, like, y'all, y'all good, like, no more kissing.

• 47:36Keke Palmer?

When the moment happened that she really went off on you, by the way, I'm telling you, watching, I was kind of like, I was waiting on that lowkey, I was like, tell him, my boy, I like him, but like, I want him to kind of get going off on lowkey. What were you thinking? What were you thinking when she went off on you? Like, what was your real feedback and your thought?

• 47:54Speaker 01

I was like, where this coming from? Because like, we had conversations the day before that, and I told her exactly how I was feeling, I told her I was feeling Clark. The whole, she was like, why you?

• 48:03Keke Palmer?

You act like you was gonna be open, but you was being closed.

• 48:06Speaker 01

I wasn't even fully closed, it was just like, I spent three weeks with Clark, I mean, with Alandra, so it's like, I only spent three days with Clark. You know, so it's like, if I keep spending more time with Alandra after I picked Clark, it's like, damn, like, I should have just sent Clark home at that point, like, it's not fair to Clark for me to spend majority of my time with Alandra after we already had three weeks, and I had three days with Clark, and I picked Clark, it's like, I still need to like, try to even that time out, you know?

• 48:34Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 48:34Speaker 01

As much as I could, and that's what I tried to do, and so like, when she went off on me, she was like, oh, like, so what is it about Clark? And I told her, like, oh, she gave me this feeling that you, like, the kid feeling that I didn't have with you, da da da, she's like, okay, cool. But then when we brought it, when I brought it up in front of everybody, then she goes off on me.

• 48:51Keke Palmer?

And I think there was also the bubbling of apparently hearing that you say you hadn't been attracted to her, which obviously, I mean, crazy, but I mean, where did that come from? Who, what did they pull that from?

• 49:01Speaker 01

It was more of like, so like, when I first covered up with her, she's pretty, have a good body, boom, but it's like, I wasn't like physically attracted to her yet, but the more as like time went on, like, damn, like. I'm starting to grow that physical attraction to her. Like I started touching her more, I started, you know, I started doing all that more. So like I grew to be more physically attracted to her as time went on.

• 49:22Keke Palmer?

Do you feel like it was kinda like she felt like, man, like I wasted so much of my, like, cause I mean, I think it's a time thing too, right? It's like, he's growing to like me when I could be, you know, talking to somebody that already likes me type of thing. Like that, maybe that's where some of the frustration came from?

• 49:36Speaker 01

Um, maybe, but it's like I never held her back from talking to anybody. Literally, like whenever we did the blindfold challenge to kiss somebody.

• 49:46Speaker 02

  Two.

• 49:47Speaker 01

That was two, and she went over to kiss, was it you? Motherf**k.

• 49:51Speaker 02

  No, I kissed her.

• 49:53Speaker 01

Oh, anywho, or was it Ace?

• 49:55Keke Palmer?

  She kissed Ace.

• 49:56Speaker 01

She kissed Ace, and she took me off like, cool.

• 49:58Keke Palmer?

Nothing ever more happened with that, but I was curious of that storyline. They didn't give it to me though.

• 50:01Speaker 01

And I was like, cool, like, I'm not, I'm not mad at you, like, it's day two, like, go do what you do, dah dah dah. And the whole exploring Jalen, I wasn't mad at her exploring Jalen, you know?

• 50:09Keke Palmer?

  Yeah, yeah.

• 50:10Speaker 01

  But then.

• 50:10Keke Palmer?

  Oh, yeah, Jalen.

• 50:11Speaker 01

But then like, when I, when I stood up for Ciara, one of the first things she came to me was like, oh, you could've sent me home. So I, in my head, I'm thinking like, okay, are you thinking for me to keep you here? Or like, cause it's still my experience too, and one of the first things she told me is, oh, you left me vulnerable, I could've went home.

• 50:29Speaker 02

But I mean, at the same time, like, you didn't tell her that you were gonna stand up for Ciara. I think that's why she was like, she was upset about that.

• 50:35Speaker 01

Like, we get the text, you have to get ready, so it's just like, I really can't.

• 50:38Keke Palmer?

It would just end up seeming like, again, it could be the edit, it could be the reality, I don't know, I mean, I'm not trying to put words, you know, put blame, but it, it was a moment where I did understand her frustration, and I was trying to figure out what happened with y'all connection, but sometimes things are what they are. Was there a moment where at least y'all have talked maybe after the show? Or was it an apology, or has there been like a, you know, just a, you know, a full-on type of like, eh, blah blah blah?

• 51:04Speaker 01

It hasn't even been like, we even had like a full conversation about it. Like, I remember I was talking to Ace about it, I was like, yeah, like, I wanna, I wanna talk to her, but I feel like if I talk to her right now, and she says something wrong, I'm really gonna go off on her, it's like. I get it, like, she's a girl, she's entitled to how she feels, but like, you ain't have to go ahead and cuss me out like that. Especially like when we already talked about everything that was already said. We talked about that one-on-one and you was cool with it. And then when it's in front of everybody, now you have a problem with it and you go off in front of everybody. Like, you could've did that when it was just me and her one-on-one. But now it's in front of everybody, you go off, it just threw me for a loop. So I was shocked, I was like, everything you're saying, we already talked about one-on-one.

• 51:40Keke Palmer?

I wish you seen the episodes so I could know if we saw it all or if there was more. But you didn't see the episode.

• 51:44Speaker 01

Yeah, I haven't, I haven't seen it. But, I mean, like, even when we went to Disney, and I saw it, I was like, "Yo, what up?", gave her a hug, everything. So it was like,

• 51:50Keke Palmer?

  Okay.

• 51:51Speaker 01

I don't have no problem with her, like, we still cool, we still chop it up, like, I still endorse for her, still get her stuff, like, I have no problem with Alandria, like, we're still cool.

• 51:59Keke Palmer?

Yeah, yeah. Well, I want to talk, obviously, about Ciara because she posted that Mikanos post. I don't know if you've seen or if you've heard. So she pretty much said, "Looking happier and not ending up with the guy who never actually liked me and started dating my friend instead." So, did you see that?

• 52:15Speaker 02

Yeah, I saw that. I mean,

• 52:16Keke Palmer?

You are too funny with that face, I'm just like,

• 52:19Speaker 02

Like, like, But, uh, I mean,

• 52:23Keke Palmer?

  Have y'all spoken?

• 52:24Speaker 02

No. And I, I was taking my time to process things. And like, that video just like was so off-putting for me. Especially the way like, I spoke, I speak so, I still speak so positively about her after, uh, like, she posted that, and I spoke so positively about that, about our relationship before that. I never once, like, bashed her, I never once told her, like, that I wasn't interested in her. I, I told, the, the first interviews I did, I said, like, we were in this, we were exclusive, like, that's a big thing for me. We were in this close rela-, like, close thing. And that I cared about her. And then, like, through, through her leaving the villa and then exploring Alandria, which is what Love Island's about,

• 53:07Speaker 02

and I found this, like, great connection, amazing connection with Alandria, and then she's bashing me for that. So, to me, I was like, alright, that's, I mean, I'm gonna take that on the chin. That's fine if you feel that way, but I'm gonna keep moving on.

• 53:21Keke Palmer?

Yeah, I mean, do you feel like she thought if she stayed, things would've been different, meaning, maybe you wouldn't have ended up with Alandria? I mean, do you think that things would've been different if she stayed?

• 53:29Speaker 02

But first, I mean, maybe like, like, if she stayed, things would probably be different, yeah. But things were how they, how they went, so.

• 53:38Keke Palmer?

And I mean, it says a lot that after you left, after finding the relationship with Alandria, it isn't like you hit her up. You didn't reach out to see her at all.

• 53:45Speaker 02

Yeah, I mean, when you're, when you're going through, like, being in the villa for two months, and then going into this new world of like, you have, like, paparazzi following you everywhere. You have, like, meetings from morning to night. You have, um, you have a new relationship to focus on.

• 53:59Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 53:59Speaker 02

It's like, and then you see a post like that, it's like, I, you know, I, it just made me feel like uncomfortable.

• 54:07Keke Palmer?

Yeah, I mean, and you're happy where you're at.

• 54:09Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 54:10Keke Palmer?

  I mean, that's, that's a big part of it.

• 54:11Speaker 02

And that's, you see, I'm happy where I'm at, and I don't need to, like, indulge in the online negativity.

• 54:17Keke Palmer?

Yeah, yeah. I mean, speaking of the online negativity, America, that's a big part of the Love Island show. They voting. Did y'all feel at any moment, especially when you start seeing the feedback that they have on you guys as couples, that, "America, y'all is hating low-key"? Or, you know, like, did y'all feel like y'all couldn't trust it? Like, when you're seeing these comments and just how people, you know, you, you and Clark was always ending up low? Like, how was y'all feeling about that? And did it affect your couples? Or the way you saw other couples?

• 54:43Speaker 02

Are you saying, like, after the villa, reading the comments?

• 54:45Keke Palmer?

No, during it, during the villa, you know.

• 54:46Speaker 01

We didn't see nothing during the villa, because we don't have.

• 54:48Keke Palmer?

But you know, like, seeing the results, you know what I mean? Like, just like, "Damn, we in the bottom again", you know, like, you know, being able to realize that America not messing with this.

• 54:56Speaker 01

Hang on, it shocked the hell out of me, especially being from top three, dropped down to the last one, all because I picked Clark, I was like, yo. But, I mean, at the end of the day, like, it is what it is. Like, I can't be mad, I can't be mad at them, because, you know, maybe there's, like, they don't see the full 24 hours in a day. Like, there's so much stuff I did for other people in the villa that wasn't my girl, that y'all ain't see, you know? So it's just like.

• 55:21Speaker 01

But I'm not mad at it cuz as long as I find my girl and I leave my girl, I'm cool.

• 55:26Keke Palmer?

What about you? How did you feel just seeing how, you know, at some of these votings, you know, who's in the bottom? As you guys see those things changing? How did that affect you and your couple or how you viewed other couples? If at all?

• 55:39Speaker 02

Uh, for me, it was like personally, I felt like from the, the first vote to the last American vote, it was really like positive for me. And, uh, but my biggest surprise, like from what I remember is Ace and Shelly being placed so low. When you have like such a strong relationship.

• 55:55Keke Palmer?

  It gagged me too.

• 55:56Speaker 02

And like when you, and when you have a strong relationship like that and you look at like the point of Love Island, it's, it is about like building, like having a strong connection and you would think like someone with a strong connection could easily win the show. And, um, so you know, them being placed, I think it was eighth place.

• 56:13Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 56:13Speaker 02

  Seventh place.

• 56:14Speaker 01

It was ninth. They was next to me.

• 56:15Speaker 02

  Yeah, and like.

• 56:16Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 56:16Speaker 02

  I, I don't know why that is. Um, you know, I, I didn't really don't.

• 56:21Keke Palmer?

How did y'all feel during the stand on business challenge? Hearing all that?

• 56:26Speaker 02

I really disliked that challenge. Like, that was my least favorite day of the whole.

• 56:30Keke Palmer?

And it was so long, they were telling me.

• 56:32Speaker 02

It was long, it was, uh, shocking. Some of it was funny, not really though.

• 56:37Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 56:38Speaker 02

It was just like kinda awkward the whole time.

• 56:40Keke Palmer?

How did y'all handle it afterwards? How was the, how was the cooldown?

• 56:45Speaker 01

With the boys, it was cool. Like with us, we ain't had no problem with each other with the boys. I think it was just like the more of the girls handling like their drama. Cuz like with us, we were the next one, we was in the kitchen cooking. We was like, y'all, we feel like this brought, even brought us closer like. With the boys, it was no problem.

• 57:00Speaker 02

I feel like boys forgive each other much faster, um, in general.

• 57:04Keke Palmer?

  Y'all do.

• 57:05Speaker 02

We can, we can move past it.

• 57:06Speaker 01

Wait, why you guys say it like that?

• 57:08Keke Palmer?

Because you guys are so, like guys I do think are very, very chill about things that girls are not chill about. You know what I mean? Like, you know, okay, I dated this person, now you're dating them or even thinking about the heart rate challenge. What was y'all thoughts about the heart rate challenge? And all the drama that went down with that? With Shelly and Huda and Ace?

• 57:29Keke Palmer?

Tell me, what does that mean?

• 57:32Speaker 02

Yeah, I had a lot of fun. I mean, I had a blast.

• 57:35Speaker 01

Oh, I know. You raised everybody's heart rates, motherf**.

• 57:38Speaker 02

  I won that challenge, so...

• 57:40Keke Palmer?

N****s like, "I love being me."

• 57:41Speaker 02

It was fun. I mean, I think that at the beginning of the season, you say everything, "It's just a challenge." That was like a big quote that we would say.

• 57:51Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 57:51Speaker 02

And we would do our big ones. We'd like, you know, we'd freak out, whatever. And then, um, as you go on, you build like strong relationships with people. And I think that at that, at that point in time, there was like, there was no set line, but at the same time, a line was crossed. So it's kind of like, I see both sides to like Shelly and Huda, for example. And I told Huda this, I told Shelly this, like, they, there was no set line, so you really can't be upset. But on the other hand, it's like, you can be upset because you've built this relationship for so long. So I think it's like a two... I was just the mediator in that one. I was just...

• 58:32Keke Palmer?

You always on the fence. I like it, though. You play it well.

• 58:35Speaker 02

  You think so?

• 58:36Keke Palmer?

  It's good.

• 58:36Speaker 02

  Alright.

• 58:37Keke Palmer?

  It's good. What about you?

• 58:39Speaker 01

She did too damn much for me, hang and cap, like...

• 58:44Speaker 01

Nah, like, I really see why Shelly was mad.

• 58:46Keke Palmer?

  That's what I thought.

• 58:47Speaker 01

  Like, yo.

• 58:49Keke Palmer?

That's what I, and I wish that you saw the episode so you could tell me if there was more that we didn't see.

• 58:54Speaker 02

  Was there more, Taylor?

• 58:56Speaker 01

There was more. Apparently the TikTok and the ads I've seen on TikTok. See, now you're getting messy.

• 59:03Keke Palmer?

We want the truth and we want the facts.

• 59:06Speaker 01

  It was, it was more.

• 59:08Keke Palmer?

It was like riding on the face?

• 59:10Speaker 01

  It was more.

• 59:12Keke Palmer?

  Didn't that?

• 59:13Speaker 01

It was, yeah. It was, it was, it was more. It was more.

• 59:18Keke Palmer?

Why was it going on, you think? What was the reason?

• 59:22Speaker 02

Well, the reason is because, like, in Huda's defense...

• 59:25Speaker 01

She was trying to raise her heart rates.

• 59:26Speaker 02

  Every, yeah.

• 59:27Keke Palmer?

  I mean, good jeez.

• 59:28Speaker 02

Every challenge you do, it's like, you have, everyone tries to get freakier and freakier.

• 59:33Keke Palmer?

  Are y'all getting extra cash?

• 59:35Speaker 01

  Hell, no.

• 59:37Speaker 02

  Definitely not.

• 59:38Keke Palmer?

Like y'all doing this like we in NFL.

• 59:41Speaker 02

It was like the NBA finals, every challenge. You go out there like D Wade, Bron, 2012. Yeah.

• 59:46Keke Palmer?

Wow. Wow. Okay. Well, hey, I guess it's just to win. She won, I guess.

• 59:51Speaker 02

  Yeah.

• 59:52Keke Palmer?

That is intense. Okay. Is there another reality TV show that y'all would go on? We're almost done. I know I've got you here forever.

• 59:57Speaker 02

What's like another reality shows? I like, uh, Wipeout. We do like little-

• 1:00:02Keke Palmer?

  Oh, Wipeout is so fun.

• 1:00:03Speaker 02

  Or American Ninja Warrior.

• 1:00:04Keke Palmer?

Okay, you're athletic. I love it.

• 1:00:06Speaker 02

  Yeah, stuff like that.

• 1:00:07Speaker 01

I would, I would do something like that. And if we had like some team stuff, I could do it with like him and Ace.

• 1:00:11Keke Palmer?

  Like the challenge?

• 1:00:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:00:12Keke Palmer?

People were talking about Ace would be good for Dance with the Stars.

• 1:00:15Speaker 02

  He has a dance company.

• 1:00:16Keke Palmer?

  He'd be dancing.

• 1:00:17Speaker 01

Yeah, a dance company. He'd be good.

• 1:00:22Keke Palmer?

I love that. Things are going good with you and Clark. I mean, you, you know, you said it was important for you to find your love. It sounds like you guys are in love. I mean, what would you say the future is for you two?

• 1:00:34Speaker 01

  Her moving to Oklahoma.

• 1:00:35Keke Palmer?

  Really?

• 1:00:37Speaker 01

Yeah, she said, she, listen, she, she definitely said she would, she would move. Like, after being there and experiencing like the rodeo life, she was like, I really like enjoy this.

• 1:00:46Speaker 02

We thought Clark would only be on the, like a weekend rodeo person, but-

• 1:00:50Speaker 01

Hell nah, like, she better be all the damn money out of this, be on the damn outfit she had on for that damn rodeo. She better be moving to Oklahoma. And-

• 1:00:57Keke Palmer?

  Wow.

• 1:00:58Speaker 01

She really, she really loved, like she loved the country life. Like, we asked like, yo, how was your rodeo, like, how was our first rodeo? And she was like, I loved it.

• 1:01:04Keke Palmer?

And I see you guys did the Arby commercial together.

• 1:01:06Speaker 01

  We did. That was good.

• 1:01:07Keke Palmer?

Okay, so, so Clark may be moving to Oklahoma.

• 1:01:10Speaker 01

  She may move to Oklahoma.

• 1:01:11Keke Palmer?

So you, obviously, you live here now in LA. Are you and Alandra gonna be long distance? Is there some-

• 1:01:17Speaker 02

I'm trying to get her to move to LA. Um, like really trying to, cause she's in Houston right now.

• 1:01:24Keke Palmer?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:24Speaker 02

But, uh, I, I think things are happening out here and to be together in LA would be like really cool.

• 1:01:31Keke Palmer?

Can you see a future where y'all living together?

• 1:01:34Speaker 02

Why not? Yeah. Like, for sure.

• 1:01:38Speaker 02

  That'd be cool.

• 1:01:39Keke Palmer?

Are you gonna take her to a football game? Because you know she love football.

• 1:01:42Speaker 02

She's going to charge Bama, Auburn. Well, she probably won't go to Alabama, but.

• 1:01:48Speaker 01

You gotta go to the G, yeah, to ski.

• 1:01:51Speaker 02

She invited me to her, uh, the homecoming, homecoming.

• 1:01:55Keke Palmer?

I feel like that you're giving, you're giving, she was keeping it to the chest, but I feel like you're giving me everything I need and more for this Nickelandrian.

• 1:02:03Speaker 02

I feel like if, if I'm exploring a person, why wouldn't like living together be part of the future? You know what I mean?

• 1:02:09Keke Palmer?

The internet's about to eat this up.

• 1:02:11Speaker 02

But I'm for real though, like, if I didn't see a future living with her, why would I be like exploring her? You know what I mean?

• 1:02:16Speaker 01

  This Marcel talking.

• 1:02:18Keke Palmer?

  Okay, the baby.

• 1:02:19Speaker 02

  The baby.

• 1:02:19Keke Palmer?

The baby. So when y'all did the baby challenge, and you were like, oh, would you be a single mom? And she was like, I mean, I would if I had to, but it's not like what I'm trying to do. And then you were like, I'd be a single dad.

• 1:02:29Speaker 02

I don't really know what that was all about.

• 1:02:31Keke Palmer?

We were like, I mean, it's nothing wrong. Hey, I'm a single mom, it's, you know? But it was just interesting when you said it, because it was like, that's my dream.

• 1:02:38Speaker 02

Oh. I thought more like, oh, like it'd be sick. Like, if we just travel the world together, like, be my best friend? I don't really know that I was like.

• 1:02:47Keke Palmer?

Yeah, it wasn't like such a huge statement that, that it seemed.

• 1:02:50Speaker 02

I just yap. I don't really know. That was just, that was just yap.

• 1:02:54Keke Palmer?

Okay, last big one, which I don't think I asked this, but this is important, because this is gonna be before the reunion. So, obviously, I need to know some predictions that, you know, you guys might have. Because somebody said there might not even be no reunion, because some people are, you know, not sure if they want to show up and be around everybody.

• 1:03:11Speaker 02

  I heard that rumor.

• 1:03:12Keke Palmer?

  I heard that rumor.

• 1:03:13Speaker 02

I heard a rumor that, uh, some, some important people might not come. But, I mean, without those important people, like, I hope they'll all be there, like.

• 1:03:22Keke Palmer?

Who are the people that possibly wouldn't come? What would we predict that, who wouldn't show up?

• 1:03:29Speaker 02

Yeah, I don't know. But, um.

• 1:03:33Keke Palmer?

  Y'all not naming no names.

• 1:03:35Speaker 02

I don't know because they haven't like publicly announced it yet, so I want. Yeah, my prediction, like. You know, there's, there's a lot of tea and a lot of. You know, some people are quiet on social media right now because they're waiting for that moment at the reunion. I'm, I'm bringing a full suitcase with goodies and supplies and.

• 1:03:52Keke Palmer?

  What?

• 1:03:52Speaker 02

Posters and big pencils and boxing gloves in case. You never really know.

• 1:03:57Keke Palmer?

Cause you know Ace was supposed to be here today, so is he one of the people that's keeping it quiet and ready for the? He was.

• 1:04:02Speaker 02

And he declined? He declined the Kiki?

• 1:04:04Keke Palmer?

He said that he has some, I mean, I don't know what he said, but. At the end of the day, you're making me think maybe he's getting ready for.

• 1:04:11Speaker 02

  He's preparing.

• 1:04:12Keke Palmer?

  He's preparing for the reunion.

• 1:04:14Speaker 02

  He's gathering.

• 1:04:15Keke Palmer?

What you, what, what do you know?

• 1:04:17Speaker 01

I just know Ace got a lot of stuff that he wanted to address and he went and addressed it in front of everybody. You know, he don't, he don't, he don't want to address it behind their back. He want to tell us face to face. You know, that's the person Ace is, so.

• 1:04:28Speaker 02

  That's true.

• 1:04:29Speaker 01

He ready, he just, he just want to tell everybody how it is face to face.

• 1:04:33Speaker 02

Also, every time I call him, he's at the studio, so it's like.

• 1:04:35Speaker 01

Yeah, he dropped, he, he dropped the song this morning.

• 1:04:37Speaker 02

He doesn't even want to hang out with us right now, so it's like.

• 1:04:40Keke Palmer?

He's serious. All I know is I'm ready to see this reunion. Anything y'all want to get up off y'all chests at the reunion? You know you gonna see.

• 1:04:49Speaker 02

Oh, I can't, just can't wait for the Jeremiah thing to drop, like. I just can't wait. And then like people thinking that I'd like Bella and I have like this crazy beef and like.

• 1:04:58Keke Palmer?

  Oh, yeah.

• 1:04:58Speaker 02

I heard people were pissed at me for that.

• 1:05:00Keke Palmer?

  Beldasha.

• 1:05:01Speaker 02

  Beldasha. I'm, yeah.

• 1:05:04Keke Palmer?

  Love that.

• 1:05:05Speaker 02

Just like, I don't know. I'm cool and honestly.

• 1:05:08Keke Palmer?

Can't get no coochie out the queen. Why did she say that?

• 1:05:10Speaker 02

What is it? What did she say?

• 1:05:11Keke Palmer?

She said, so you remember that song, "Wam Wammy"? She said, "Can't get no coochie out this queen."

• 1:05:15Speaker 02

  She said that?

• 1:05:17Keke Palmer?

She said, she said a bunch of TikTok phrases and added it.

• 1:05:19Speaker 01

She said it, bro. Was that a challenge?

• 1:05:21Speaker 02

You sound like you don't like, you don't like that.

• 1:05:22Keke Palmer?

  No, I do.

• 1:05:24Speaker 02

Not. So what about your love life, Kiki? Where are you at?

• 1:05:28Speaker 01

  Yeah, what's going on?

• 1:05:29Speaker 02

  It's time to question you.

• 1:05:30Keke Palmer?

Well, guys, come on, come on, y'all know. Ask me what y'all wanted to know.

• 1:05:33Speaker 01

So where are you at right now in your love life, Kiki?

• 1:05:35Keke Palmer?

Oh, your girl Kiki is single. She's a single mom.

• 1:05:38Speaker 01

I hear that everybody, Kiki, is single.

• 1:05:41Keke Palmer?

She's definitely open, you know what I mean? Like, it's summer, body is snatch.

• 1:05:46Speaker 01

Hot girl summer, are you trying to say?

• 1:05:48Keke Palmer?

You know, she's exploring the world.

• 1:05:50Speaker 02

Are we gonna see you on season eight?

• 1:05:51Keke Palmer?

Season eight, you know what? Y'all, they need, Love Island need to let me come up on there, do an HBCU Love Island or some, you know, like a unique, some, any kind of little different type of gag.

• 1:06:02Speaker 01

You hitting the Heisman right now?

• 1:06:09Keke Palmer?

I'm here for me being like, what's up, Love Islanders? It's time.

• 1:06:13Speaker 02

  Good morning.

• 1:06:14Speaker 01

  Tonight.

• 1:06:15Speaker 02

  Keke Palmer.

• 1:06:15Keke Palmer?

Baby, this is Keke Palmer. No, um, but yeah, you know, I'm, I'm just like the Love Islanders, you know, looking for love, you know? We'll see where it comes.

• 1:06:23Speaker 02

  You came here for love.

• 1:06:24Speaker 01

Maybe, look, we, we went through the whole process. Maybe we can, we can figure you out some.

• 1:06:28Keke Palmer?

Are you guys gonna be like my, my, what, what, what, Sereno Divergiacs?

• 1:06:31Speaker 01

Hey, we might be able to.

• 1:06:32Keke Palmer?

I went too far, y'all are Gen Z.

• 1:06:34Speaker 02

Yeah, I don't know. I don't know what that is.

• 1:06:37Keke Palmer?

What would I compare this to? How would I even, what movie would let y'all know? That movie with Tyler James and Coco Jones. Y'all know the Tyler James movie with Coco Jones?

• 1:06:47Speaker 01

  Which movie is that one?

• 1:06:47Keke Palmer?

What is it? Let It Shine.

• 1:06:49Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:06:49Keke Palmer?

Y'all know Let It Shine, yeah, pretty much Let It Shine. Y'all gonna be the Tyler James to my Trevor Jackson. Anyway, I went too far. The reference is, you know, I'm a millennial.

• 1:06:58Speaker 02

I haven't seen it, but I'm down to be that for you.

• 1:07:00Speaker 01

You ain't seen Let It Shine?

• 1:07:02Keke Palmer?

I just said, you ain't seen Let It Shine?

• 1:07:03Speaker 02

We need to watch a lot of movies.

• 1:07:04Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:07:05Speaker 02

  We're gonna do that today.

• 1:07:06Keke Palmer?

Guys, y'all are so much fun.

• 1:07:09Speaker 01

  I appreciate it.

• 1:07:10Keke Palmer?

I'm really excited for this reunion. And, um, you know, just thank you, thank you.

• 1:07:15Speaker 01

  Thank you, it's your girl.

• 1:07:16Keke Palmer?

  You know it's your girl.

  Give me a hug, guys.

I live for a conversation that goes deep, especially when it comes to the human side of reality TV. When we're caught up in the chaos, it's easy to forget these are real people navigating real emotions while being filmed and edited for our entertainment. Shout out to Nick and Taylor for pulling up and being honest and still having fun with me. From their early bromance to their respective relationships with Alandria and Clark, they showed us that even in the most chaotic setting, real love and real friendship can still break through. And they kept us entertained while doing it. These guys don't play, and neither do I. Because, baby, this is Keke Palmer.
