You ever realize that you spent your entire morning thinking about lunch? It's 9 a.m. and somehow I'm already in negotiations with myself about how I'm gonna spend $20 on a sandwich at noon. And then I eat it, or you eat it, or somebody eats it, and then an hour later, you're just standing in the kitchen worrying about what you'll do for dinner. And that's one reason why I've been into Huell. The Black Edition Powder is a complete meal you have instead of food, not a shake on top of food. Their powder starts at less than $3 per meal, has 40 grams of protein, and mixes with water or milk in about 30 seconds. I like Huell's shakes because they're clean and it's quick.

• 0:41Theo Von?

I just want to make sure I have everything I need to keep going the way I want to keep going in a healthy manner. So with Huell, basically, lunch went from a daily logistical problem to a thing I can solve in about 30 seconds. Make healthy eating simple. New customers get an exclusive offer of 15% off online with my code WEEKEND at huell.com/weekend. That's H-U-E-L dot com slash weekend. Thank you to Huell for partnering and supporting our show. I've got a few tour dates coming up. Los Angeles, California, August 14th. Anaheim, August 16th. Oceanside, August 17th. And Calgary in the Canada.

He's a creator. He's an actor. He's a Renaissance man. He can kind of dance a little bit. You've seen him pretty much everywhere. He's been on a legendary run. Some people say he's only six years old. Some people say he's seven million years old. We'll see what we can find out. This kid's got it all. Today's guest out of the Northeast is The Rizzler.

• 2:24Theo Von?

Alright fellas, if you need us, don't need us, you feel me? Dude, I freaking hate it. I'll tell you this straight up dude. Like, what I hate is when, like if I'm doing something at home and my mom needs me.

• 2:40Speaker 01

I was in a match of Fortnite, I was the, there was top three, I was the third person left. And then guess what? My mom calls me down, right? She'll go clean the dishes, right? And guess what? Out of nowhere, she distracted me, I got a headshot by a sniper.

• 3:03Theo Von?

And did she take any responsibility for it?

• 3:05Speaker 01

  No.

• 3:07Speaker 01

And then I went downstairs and she was cleaning the dishes already.

• 3:10Theo Von?

So she didn't even need your help?

• 3:11Speaker 01

  No.

• 3:12Theo Von?

Ugh. Why do they choose to operate like that?

• 3:16Speaker 01

And she was like, "Oh, I always have to do everything in this house."

• 3:19Theo Von?

Ugh. Yeah, I just took a freaking slug to the head. You know, you just got domed out over there, like god. Ugh. But that's the worst dude, my mom will be like, "Come help me." And you're just like so furious.

• 3:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 3:36Theo Von?

And you can't pause, you can't just pause your, can you pause your guy if you're like? You can't. So what do you tell the other guys?

• 3:44Speaker 01

Well, well, actually if you have a mic, you're like, like, you're only allowed to like talk to people if you have a mic.

• 3:53Theo Von?

  Okay.

• 3:53Speaker 01

  Like basically like this.

• 3:54Theo Von?

  Got it.

• 3:55Speaker 01

I have like, like the exact same mic at my house.

• 3:57Theo Von?

  Okay.

• 3:58Speaker 01

  Yeah, in my room.

• 3:59Theo Von?

So when you're playing Fortnite, you can just use your mic, you tell the guys? But what do you tell them if your mom's calling, like do you like?

• 4:04Speaker 01

Well, usually in the match, you're not allowed, only the people that are on your team. Cause like, there's a friends list of people you can invite to your party. And whoever's on your team to help you kill the other people. Like there's squads, solos, duos, trios.

• 4:24Theo Von?

Got it. And, but what do you, like if your mom's yelling, I mean, what do you do when you get down there? Do you express frustration? Do you tell her, "Hey"? Or do you just, you gotta listen to mom?

• 4:35Speaker 01

I like I listened to like almost after this match.

• 4:39Theo Von?

Right. After this match, after this, after that. It never ends though, you know? Hmm, life huh? Dude, my frickin' mom. One time we had to help her paint her car or whatever, cuz she got, she like. I'm not gonna say she. She did like a, not a crime or whatever, but anyway, we had to help her paint her car. And we didn't have, know how to paint, we didn't know, we were like children. You know?

• 5:06Speaker 01

  Really?

• 5:07Theo Von?

Yeah. So, but she's okay, she's doing fine now, but um. Dude, I saw Superman yesterday.

• 5:14Speaker 01

  You saw the movie?

• 5:14Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 5:15Speaker 01

Oh, I wanna see it so bad.

• 5:17Theo Von?

  You do?

• 5:18Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 5:19Theo Von?

  It's 3D.

• 5:20Speaker 01

  It is?

• 5:21Theo Von?

Yeah, have you seen a 3D movie before?

• 5:22Speaker 01

I have, I've, I've seen like at least four or five 3D movies.

• 5:26Theo Von?

And would you think, when you see them, what do you think? Do you think it's worth it? Do you think it's whatever? What'd you think?

• 5:30Speaker 01

  I think it's worth it.

• 5:31Theo Von?

  Yeah?

• 5:32Speaker 01

I've seen Inside Out 3D, I've seen Avatar. I've seen. Uh, Lion King.

• 5:40Theo Von?

  Ooh.

• 5:40Speaker 01

That was 3D, um. Well, I'm gonna see Superman, so that's gonna be 3D. And then, and then what's the other one?

• 5:50Theo Von?

But I don't know, I can't tell if I minded or, cuz when it's 3D, really, if you take the glasses off and you look at the screen, it's just like blurry, you know?

• 5:58Speaker 01

But you can like still see the movie.

• 6:00Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 6:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 6:01Theo Von?

Yeah. But yeah, yeah, yeah, you're, you're right, you're right, uh, yeah. But I don't know, I, I don't wanna tell you what happens, but it was, eh. It was pretty cool, I guess. There's like a, I mean, it was good, I mean, you get all the flying scenes, you know? Where he's just like flying.

• 6:18Speaker 01

I really wanna see Fantastic Four.

• 6:20Theo Von?

Ooh. I haven't seen a lot of these superhero movies.

• 6:24Speaker 01

  Really?

• 6:24Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 6:25Speaker 01

I saw Thunderbolts, that was really good.

• 6:27Theo Von?

Break up a picture of Thunderbolts, let me get a gander at this, I'm not even familiar with it.

• 6:31Speaker 01

  It's a new Marvel movie.

• 6:33Theo Von?

What do you recommend when it comes down to it? Oh, this is it right here?

• 6:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 6:37Theo Von?

  Oh, yeah.

• 6:38Speaker 01

It's basically the new Avengers because all the Avengers basically died.

• 6:44Theo Von?

Oh, gosh, yeah, this looks like Avengers, like Narcan version kinda.

• 6:47Speaker 01

And you see that girl in the middle?

• 6:49Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 6:49Speaker 01

That is a. Black Widow, that's her sister.

• 6:54Theo Von?

Oh, really? Yeah, this definitely seems like people that have been in treatment or whatever, but now they have more power.

• 7:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 7:03Theo Von?

Man, when it comes down to you for DC or Marvel, where do you go, man? Where do your loyalties lie? And it's okay.

• 7:08Speaker 01

  Marvel.

• 7:10Speaker 01

But if I'm like, if I wanna see like, like a calm, like superhero movie, I'll go DC. If I wanna see like, action-packed, more like superhero movie, I'll go Marvel.

• 7:23Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 7:24Speaker 01

Cause like Marvel is usually more action.

• 7:26Theo Von?

Right. Yeah, I mean Superman was super, it was like just crazy. Almost at some points, they're like too much action. Like, hey, can we have a couple of minutes without action? I can't even eat my popcorn kinda thing. You know?

• 7:37Speaker 01

And also, I heard Lilo and Stitch, there's literally, it's 3D. And you're, you're like, when you're, when something shakes in the movie, you shake.

• 7:48Theo Von?

  Oh, I like that.

• 7:48Speaker 01

And when you go, when someone goes in the water, you get sprayed by water.

• 7:52Theo Von?

Uh-uh. I want that, I would love that. Just to have like some like, you know? Have something happen in the movie? And then you get to feel it right there? That's pretty cool. It reminds me of like whenever I went to Disney World, have you been there?

• 8:06Speaker 01

  No.

• 8:06Theo Von?

  What?

• 8:10Theo Von?

Sorry, I thought you'd have been.

• 8:12Speaker 01

  No.

• 8:13Theo Von?

It's fine, and look, and look, and I don't, yeah, it's, not everybody's been, I shouldn't act like everybody's been. Have you discussed it at all with your folks?

• 8:21Speaker 01

Um, well, uh, I mean, when I go to Disney World, like if I go there, I'm probably gonna get swarmed by people, but, you know? You gotta use it.

• 8:34Theo Von?

Might have to wear a mask, huh?

• 8:35Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:36Theo Von?

Or like a beard or something like that?

• 8:38Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:39Theo Von?

You know? I saw, what was that picture the other day? I saw of you in a, um, there you are right there.

• 8:45Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 8:46Theo Von?

  The frickin', who is that?

• 8:48Speaker 01

  DJ Khaled.

• 8:49Theo Von?

Oh, DJ Khaled, baby, the Rizzler and the Palace Stizzler right there, dude. That's awesome. Now, bro, if you wore that, you didn't anybody's, nobody's clocking you on that?

• 9:00Speaker 01

  No.

• 9:01Theo Von?

Not a chance. You'd be like, oh, look, that's a 38-year-old guy from outside of Trenton.

• 9:08Theo Von?

Who's doing his best? Obviously, his wife left him, you know, and he's, yeah. He's got some glandular issues. That's all they would think is that he's just, you know, it's kind of like a, yeah. A guy doing his best.

• 9:18Speaker 01

His shoes are actually kind of fire.

• 9:20Theo Von?

  I agree, a hundred percent.

• 9:21Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:22Theo Von?

And they match well. Very stylish, too. He almost looks a little bit like Adam Sandler disguised, doesn't he, in this picture? Thank you. He looks like Adam Sandler disguised as DJ Khaled.

• 9:34Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:35Theo Von?

Thank you, dude. That's the kind of, I've been saying that kind of stuff. Um, what else? Dude, you know, I saw you at that restaurant one time at Craig's. You remember that?

• 9:44Speaker 01

Oh, yeah. That was the first time I met you.

• 9:47Theo Von?

  Yeah, you're right. Right there.

• 9:49Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:50Theo Von?

Good memory. Dude, and you were up, I'm not gonna, I'm not trying to rat you out or whatever, but you were up at, I mean, it was like 10:00 PM.

• 9:57Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 9:59Speaker 01

Well, now my bedtime is one o'clock in the morning, so.

• 10:04Theo Von?

What? What, are you a union worker?

• 10:08Theo Von?

What are you, one? God. And I'll be, I mean, I saw you, I didn't, I don't know. I saw you at the restaurant and you were drinking soda past 10:00 PM.

• 10:18Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 10:20Speaker 01

That's why I went to bed at three o'clock in the afternoon.

• 10:24Theo Von?

Okay, okay. Yeah, yeah. They do have very strong soda over there. I mean, they had strong soda, dude. Yeah, you didn't blink for like 11 minutes I was talking to you.

• 10:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 10:37Theo Von?

But that's what it is, right?

• 10:39Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 10:39Theo Von?

So the bedtime's been fluctuating a little bit, huh?

• 10:42Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah.

• 10:43Theo Von?

And do you choose the bedtime, or do your parents choose it? What's it like?

• 10:47Speaker 01

Well, really, I choose my bedtime, but like, really, when my parents go to sleep, I go to sleep. Cause like, usually I have to go to bed, well, like to, I have to go to, I have to watch a movie before I go to bed. I can't like, not go to bed without watching something at all.

• 11:07Theo Von?

  For sure.

• 11:08Speaker 01

Yeah. But if I'm like, like, super tired, I just like go on my bed and I close my eyes.

• 11:15Theo Von?

  And then?

• 11:16Speaker 01

  And I just fall asleep.

• 11:17Theo Von?

Yeah, I like that. Now, if your parents try to say, "You need to go to bed now," do you stand on rizness? What do you do with them?

• 11:27Speaker 01

  I go to bed, yeah.

• 11:29Theo Von?

  Yeah, respectfully.

• 11:30Speaker 01

But if I wake up in the middle of the night and I can't go back to put, um, go back to bed, I go play Fortnite, so.

• 11:37Theo Von?

  So, hey. Yeah. Tomato, tomato.

• 11:41Speaker 01

One time I played Fortnite for, until, uh, when, I forgot when was it, but it was Saturday till one o'clock in the morning. So, basically all day.

• 11:55Theo Von?

Oh my god, and did you take any breaks or whatever, even urinate?

• 11:59Speaker 01

  Um, yeah.

• 12:00Theo Von?

Okay. Yeah, I don't want you sitting there in a diaper or something playing, I'm saying, cause you know, you got some of these crazy people, show me some of those kids in Asia and they're playing, they won't even, they're wearing diapers so they don't have to get up and leave the, the con- console.

• 12:17Speaker 01

  It's crazy.

• 12:18Theo Von?

  It's a lot.

• 12:19Speaker 01

I can't play a match by myself in Fortnite.

• 12:22Theo Von?

  You can?

• 12:23Speaker 01

  Yeah, I can.

• 12:23Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 12:24Speaker 01

  It's too hard.

• 12:25Theo Von?

It's too hard. But at least you know your limitations, right?

• 12:27Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 12:28Theo Von?

That's very important, dude. Um, let's get into a little bit of your history and your lore and your origin story, if you don't mind.

• 12:35Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 12:36Theo Von?

Where the Rizzler began, how did it start?

• 12:38Speaker 01

Well, so, I came home one day, right? And I told my dad, "Dad, I wanna make a video." So then, I made a video and I said, "This is how to do the face of a Rizzler," and I did this.

• 12:54Speaker 01

And yeah, tha- and then, that's it.

• 12:56Theo Von?

And now, what did dad do after you said that? Because, one thing I do notice that's very, um, I think is really special about you and your father as a viewer, and as a fan, is you guys seem to have a really good relationship. You know? You could tell he's very supportive, he loves his son, right? He thinks his son is awesome.

• 13:15Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 13:16Theo Von?

And I think that that's really cool to see in the world, you know? But now, when you ask him to record that video, is he right there? Is he telling you to do different edits? Or he come, did you guys, was it one shot, one kill, it was done?

• 13:28Speaker 01

  Well, yeah, yeah.

• 13:29Theo Von?

So you guys just got it done?

• 13:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 13:31Theo Von?

  Wow.

• 13:32Speaker 01

But, uh, like, like, say he wanted to do a video and I was like, I'm kinda tired right now. I don't really wanna do the videos. No, like, we don't have to, but like, sometimes, like, you, you gotta do it.

• 13:44Theo Von?

Yeah. Because you just feel it inside of you, you gotta do it? Or you feel like the, the fans want it? Or you just think you have a good idea? Like, what, like, when, when, when are the times you feel like you gotta do one?

• 13:55Speaker 01

Um, I gotta do a video, like, if I, I gotta do a video, like, if I'm at a cool event.

• 14:03Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 14:04Speaker 01

Or, like, if I meet, like, someone famous.

• 14:08Theo Von?

Yeah. Do something cool, memorialize it?

• 14:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:11Theo Von?

Yeah, I like that. I've seen some of the great videos you have with your bicycling tricks, you know?

• 14:17Speaker 01

  Yeah, BMX tricks?

• 14:19Theo Von?

Yeah, right there. And this is great right here.

• 14:21Speaker 01

That's my beautiful bike right there.

• 14:23Theo Von?

Oh, that thing's nice, huh? Who got you that?

• 14:26Speaker 01

Um, I got it at Walmart with my grandma and grandpa.

• 14:30Theo Von?

Oh, that's nice. Are they good people?

• 14:32Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:32Theo Von?

Nice. What's your grandfather's name, do you know?

• 14:35Speaker 01

  Joe.

• 14:35Theo Von?

Yeah. Grandpa Joe, I love it.

• 14:39Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 14:39Speaker 02

The first trick I'm gonna do is the no-hander.

• 14:42Speaker 01

That helmet I also got at Walmart.

• 14:44Theo Von?

  Oh, I can tell that.

• 14:46Speaker 01

It's, it's supposed to be a dirt bike helmet, but...

• 14:49Speaker 02

Oh, one hand, the ball, two!

• 14:51Theo Von?

Oh, yeah, he switched it up, boy!

• 14:56Speaker 02

A fully clover? Oh, my god!

• 15:01Theo Von?

That's just for, uh, St. Patty's Day, that one, brother. That's only for St. Patty's. Now, do you have any new bike tricks up your sleeve? Do you think we'll see any more, like?

• 15:10Speaker 01

So I've been practicing a new bike move. It's kinda easy now. It's like, you ride the bike, you go really fast, and then you slowly let go. You have to keep your balance while you're doing it. Yeah, both hands.

• 15:24Theo Von?

  And what? That's it?

• 15:26Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 15:27Theo Von?

  Boy, that's it?

• 15:27Speaker 01

But if I feel like I'm starting to fall, I grab back on it.

• 15:30Theo Von?

Yeah, respect. Nice. So do you think we'll see that maybe this summer, into the summer sometime?

• 15:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 15:37Theo Von?

You haven't released that one yet?

• 15:38Speaker 01

  No, I haven't.

• 15:39Theo Von?

Okay, got it. Um, where do you hail from? Where did you actually begin, like, in birth and stuff?

• 15:45Speaker 01

  Um...

• 15:48Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 15:49Theo Von?

But like, are you from a certain town or city?

• 15:52Speaker 01

Oh, oh, okay. So actually, I'm from, uh, Staten Island.

• 15:57Theo Von?

  Oh, really?

• 15:58Speaker 01

And then I moved to New Jersey, right? And then now, I go everywhere.

• 16:05Theo Von?

Yeah, I like it. Do you feel a responsibility? I think a lot of people saw you in that original Black Panther video, right? And people saw you just kind of take on this responsibility to want to be somebody who fights for the people.

• 16:21Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 16:21Theo Von?

Is that how you feel in your heart, you think?

• 16:23Speaker 01

  Uh huh.

• 16:25Theo Von?

Like, do you think you could actually battle some of the crime bosses? That are actually out there, some of the corrupt politicians, that sort of guys?

• 16:33Speaker 01

  I think so, yeah.

• 16:34Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 16:34Speaker 01

  I'm pretty strong.

• 16:36Theo Von?

Yeah, dang, bro. You've been growing, huh?

• 16:40Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 16:41Theo Von?

It's important. And is your mother making some nice dinner once in a while? What does she like to make for you?

• 16:47Speaker 01

Well, uh, usually I eat this, like, it's like TV dinner, it's really good for you. It's called Factor.

• 16:55Theo Von?

  Oh, yeah, Factor meals.

• 16:56Speaker 01

  It's so good.

• 16:56Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 16:57Speaker 01

  And very healthy.

• 16:58Theo Von?

They are good. We've done advertisements for them over the years. Some of my friends eat those.

• 17:03Speaker 01

  Oh, no.

• 17:03Theo Von?

Yeah, I like it, because it's just like, if it's a right amount of food, bam. You're done.

• 17:08Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 17:09Theo Von?

Yeah, I like they have, I think they used to have like a chicken quarter on blue or something that I would have sometimes.

• 17:13Speaker 01

They give us like a hundred sixty of them, so.

• 17:16Theo Von?

  Oh, Lord.

• 17:16Speaker 01

My whole freezer is full with them.

• 17:18Theo Von?

Oh. So, yeah, everybody's getting one. You get a factor, yeah.

• 17:23Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 17:23Theo Von?

Um, do you have chores at home?

• 17:26Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 17:27Theo Von?

Okay, what do some of those consist of?

• 17:29Speaker 01

So like, I clean my room sometimes, and I do the dishes once a week.

• 17:35Theo Von?

Okay, so once a week, you gotta do the dishes?

• 17:38Speaker 01

Well, really, after I eat, I have to do the dishes.

• 17:42Theo Von?

Okay, so after you eat, you gotta do the dishes?

• 17:43Speaker 01

And also, I only do the dishes when my mom cooks.

• 17:48Theo Von?

  Okay.

• 17:48Speaker 01

  Or my dad.

• 17:50Theo Von?

  Or your dad cooks.

• 17:51Speaker 01

That's the only time when I do the dishes.

• 17:53Theo Von?

  Why is that?

• 17:55Speaker 01

  Um, because, uh...

• 17:58Speaker 01

I don't know, I like doing the dishes.

• 17:59Theo Von?

  Yeah, you wanna help out?

• 18:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 18:01Theo Von?

Yeah. I like that. It makes it a family affair, huh? And does your grandmother ever cook anything for you?

• 18:07Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 18:08Theo Von?

  Oh, yeah.

• 18:09Speaker 01

She makes the best chicken cocktails.

• 18:11Theo Von?

God. God, I wanna meet her. I love, uh, yeah. Why are they so good at that kinda stuff?

• 18:18Speaker 01

  I don't know. I don't know.

• 18:19Theo Von?

  What is it?

• 18:20Speaker 01

  And my other grandma?

• 18:21Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 18:22Speaker 01

  She makes the best meatloaf.

• 18:24Theo Von?

  Oh.

• 18:24Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 18:25Theo Von?

God. Put me in it. Some of, sometimes that meatloaf, I just wanna put my hands in it. It looks so good.

• 18:31Speaker 01

  Hmm.

• 18:32Theo Von?

I love it. I love meatloaf. Look at that.

• 18:35Speaker 01

  Oh.

• 18:37Theo Von?

  My god.

• 18:38Speaker 01

  Stop making me drool.

• 18:39Theo Von?

I know. Come on. Hey, guys, huh? These guys have no respect, you know?

• 18:44Speaker 01

There's a meatloaf that looks like a mouse.

• 18:46Theo Von?

Yeah, they, okay, that's mouse loaf, dude. That's rat loaf. I'd have a little.

• 18:52Theo Von?

You know, I probably wouldn't have a lot. I would start at the back, probably.

• 18:55Speaker 01

And also, when I went on the plane today to come here.

• 18:59Theo Von?

  Yeah?

• 19:00Speaker 01

I went on first class, right? Right? And I had the best, like, food on the plane. It was like, uh, I forgot what it's called, but it was like, uh, something with chicken, uh...

• 19:15Theo Von?

  What did it look like?

• 19:18Speaker 01

It was like, it was kinda like a squ- that. That's what I had.

• 19:22Theo Von?

I know what that is, dude. It's, um,

• 19:27Theo Von?

  it's like a little...

• 19:30Theo Von?

  Mmm, they're good.

• 19:31Speaker 01

  They are good.

• 19:32Theo Von?

  God, they're good.

• 19:33Speaker 01

And they have the jus- they have the, like, the best amount of spice.

• 19:37Theo Von?

Yeah. Perfect sauce. And what I love is you usually eat two of them, so you can eat one of them.

• 19:41Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 19:41Theo Von?

  And then...

• 19:43Speaker 01

Well, I ate them both at the same time, so.

• 19:46Speaker 01

  That's even better.

• 19:46Theo Von?

That's another way to do it, yeah.

• 19:48Speaker 01

It came with a little cheesecake.

• 19:49Theo Von?

Oh, yeah. Come on. Come on. It's just like Staten Island in the sky.

• 19:54Speaker 01

Remember, this is on the plane.

• 19:56Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 19:56Speaker 01

That's like the best meal you can get on the plane.

• 19:59Theo Von?

Oh, I can't even believe it. I mean, the fa- yeah, some people aren't even getting this on the ground. And the fact that you guys got that up there, that's very nice. God, those things are so good. I hope they give them a name one day, because otherwise we just have to keep describing them to each other. Um, oh yeah, they're good. Um, you have a brother too, right?

• 20:20Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 20:20Theo Von?

  Is that right?

• 20:21Speaker 01

  Yeah, baby rose.

• 20:22Theo Von?

How do you keep the fame off of him? How do you keep the haters off of him?

• 20:26Speaker 01

  Um.

• 20:27Theo Von?

  You gotta protect him, huh?

• 20:28Speaker 01

  Yeah, that's in this.

• 20:29Theo Von?

  Aw, there he is.

• 20:31Speaker 01

  He's so cute.

• 20:31Theo Von?

He's a cute guy. How old is he?

• 20:33Speaker 01

  He's four right now.

• 20:35Theo Von?

  Okay.

• 20:36Speaker 01

And he'll be five in September.

• 20:38Theo Von?

So he's still, he's still figuring it out, huh? He doesn't have a lot of life experience right now.

• 20:43Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 20:44Theo Von?

  But, he'll get there.

• 20:47Speaker 01

And, a couple days ago, he just started building Legos.

• 20:51Theo Von?

  No.

• 20:52Speaker 01

He built a whole Lego set by himself, a Minecraft one.

• 20:55Theo Von?

  Really?

• 20:56Speaker 01

It was like a small one. It was like, um, it was, it was actually, it was like decent size, it was like this big. And it had two cows, and like a Minecraft waterfall with, um, like a knight and a zombie.

• 21:11Theo Von?

  Wow.

• 21:11Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 21:12Theo Von?

He must have been pretty proud of himself, huh?

• 21:13Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 21:14Theo Von?

And can he eat whole food and everything?

• 21:16Speaker 01

  Yeah, yeah, yeah.

• 21:17Theo Von?

  Oh, he's great.

• 21:18Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 21:19Theo Von?

But how do you keep like, because I'm sure a lot of people press you sometimes, how do you protect him from the fame?

• 21:24Speaker 01

  Um, I don't know.

• 21:28Theo Von?

You just take care of him, huh?

• 21:28Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 21:30Theo Von?

I love that dude. That's awesome. Oh, is that what you made?

• 21:34Speaker 01

  No, it was like, um.

• 21:36Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 21:37Speaker 01

I don't know, it wasn't like sheep, it was, um, it was like a, it was like, a kind of like a llama.

• 21:45Theo Von?

  Mm-hmm.

• 21:45Speaker 01

And he was, his back was all grass.

• 21:48Theo Von?

  Hmm.

• 21:49Speaker 01

Right? And it was with a guy with a pickaxe and a zombie, and it was like, trees, blossom trees.

• 21:58Theo Von?

  Blossom trees.

• 22:00Theo Von?

It sounds like a new political party, really, to be honest with you. You know, it sounds pretty intense. Um, yeah, what, what, what kind of animals you got at the house? You guys holding it, you guys holding over there?

• 22:09Speaker 01

No, but we might get a dog.

• 22:11Theo Von?

Yes. Have you guys had the conversation about it? Who brought up the conversation?

• 22:16Speaker 01

  Uh, my mom.

• 22:17Theo Von?

She did, so she's interested in one.

• 22:19Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 22:20Theo Von?

And would you get to pick it out, or she gets to pick it out? Have you talked about that?

• 22:23Speaker 01

Um, well, I don't really know what dog to get, so she'll figure it out, so.

• 22:28Theo Von?

You think whatever kind of dog you get, you'll love it?

• 22:30Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 22:31Theo Von?

Okay. You get to name it?

• 22:33Speaker 01

Mm-hmm. But I want it to be a small dog.

• 22:38Theo Von?

  Why?

• 22:39Speaker 01

Um, I don't know, I like small dogs.

• 22:42Theo Von?

Yeah, it's nice. They can jump on your bed and stuff.

• 22:45Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 22:45Theo Von?

You know? I like that, too. Big dogs, sometimes they just, they get so, they move around and it gets crazy, knock everything over.

• 22:54Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 22:55Theo Von?

You know, you're sitting there, you're having a little TV dinner, they knock, you're like, gee, that's creepish, you know? I'm trying to frickin' finish my programs. It's a lot. Um, you got the fourth grade coming up, huh?

• 23:06Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 23:06Theo Von?

  Is that true?

• 23:07Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 23:07Theo Von?

Okay. How are you feeling about it?

• 23:11Speaker 01

  Good.

• 23:13Speaker 01

I wanna blow out that camp so bad.

• 23:16Theo Von?

  You do?

• 23:17Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 23:18Theo Von?

All right, how about this? You answer, I answer this next question, I'll let you blow it out.

• 23:21Speaker 01

  Okay.

• 23:23Theo Von?

What's one of your biggest fears about the fourth grade coming up? Something that you might, that's, you know, got you maybe a little bit nervous?

• 23:29Speaker 01

I don't know. I'm not very nervous about that shit.

• 23:33Theo Von?

  Really?

• 23:33Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 23:34Theo Von?

  All right, deal.

• 23:35Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 23:41Theo Von?

Yeah, gotta get on top of that bad boy. Yeah.

• 23:45Speaker 01

  There we go.

• 23:47Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 23:48Speaker 01

  Look at that smoke.

• 23:48Theo Von?

Yeah, oh yeah, tell me about it, brother. Hit some over here, I'm gonna call my sponsor, brother. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, brother.

• 23:59Theo Von?

God, I'll freaking light up a whole freaking couple of pounds of that. Now it smells even better in here. It does, and I love that. It's like a birthday, it's like when you get a birthday cake and get to blow it out. Yeah. That's the best, man. I'd love for you to check out my interview with Hank Hill. Yep, that's right, in studio. And you can also watch the new season of King of the Hill, streaming now on Hulu.

• 24:25Speaker 03

And that's the difference between a hex socket and a pass-through socket. Anyway, just, uh, let me know when the interview's starting.

• 24:33Theo Von?

  Oh, we've been rolling.

• 24:35Speaker 03

Oh, well, then I should probably clarify that point I made earlier about inconsistent torque ratings.

• 24:41Theo Von?

No, I think we're good on that topic, brother. Uh, thanks for sitting down with me, Hank.

• 24:45Speaker 03

Well, thank you too, Theo. This is my first time being on a podcast.

• 24:50Theo Von?

Oh, yeah? Do you listen to any podcasts?

• 24:52Speaker 03

Just one, the Propane Resource Council Podcast, hosted by Chet Murray.

• 24:58Theo Von?

I'm not familiar with that one.

• 24:59Speaker 03

Oh, well, Chet's a real character, I tell you what.

• 25:04Theo Von?

Okay. Uh, so you used to sell propane?

• 25:08Speaker 03

  Propane and propane accessories.

• 25:11Theo Von?

Is propane considered a upper echelon gas?

• 25:15Speaker 03

  Yes.

• 25:15Theo Von?

Some people say it's just zesty diesel, you know, so, um, how high can it get you?

• 25:21Speaker 03

Uh, the only recreational use for propane is for family activities such as frying up a turkey on Thanksgiving.

• 25:30Theo Von?

You know, I grew up in Louisiana, Hank, so me and my cousin Boogie, we used to ride our bikes behind the city mosquito sprayers and catch a buzz off those fumes, daddy, you feel me?

• 25:40Speaker 03

No. Uh, anyway, you said you're from Louisiana? My neighbor Bill is from Louisiana. Did you ever run across any of the Dotreves?

• 25:50Theo Von?

Yes, I did. A guy named Gilbert Dotreve.

• 25:53Speaker 03

  That's Bill's cousin.

• 25:54Theo Von?

Uh-uh. Search up a, uh, Gilbert Dotreve. Gilbert.

• 26:01Speaker 03

  Hey, there's Bill.

• 26:02Theo Von?

Yeah, oh, we used to give each other haircuts on his front porch.

• 26:06Speaker 03

So, uh, my son Bobby gave me this ad for his restaurant. I promised him I'd read it.

• 26:11Theo Von?

Okay, okay. Uh, guests don't usually bring their own ad reads.

• 26:15Speaker 03

Robotta chain is Dallas's only German-Japanese fusion restaurant. Where east meets worst, as in bratwurst. Uh, I think he wrote this himself.

• 26:28Theo Von?

  It sounds beautiful.

• 26:30Speaker 03

Oh, uh, that's my wife Peggy. She's reminding me to talk about her.

• 26:34Theo Von?

Yeah, whatever, man. We got three hours.

• 26:37Speaker 03

Oh, we do? Well then, you see, the pass-through socket is best used in those type of situations I was talking about earlier, where a hex socket is impractical.

• 26:56Theo Von?

What, uh, but you know, in 4th grade, you know what they do have? They have...

• 27:01Speaker 01

Oh, you know what they also have? More drama.

• 27:04Theo Von?

  Oh, it's true, huh?

• 27:07Theo Von?

I mean, it, what, yeah, what, like, people were just talking more noise, you think?

• 27:11Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 27:12Theo Von?

  Lot of gossip?

• 27:13Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 27:14Theo Von?

  Rumors?

• 27:17Theo Von?

And they have, um, you have to add and subtract fractions.

• 27:23Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 27:24Theo Von?

  Can you already do it?

• 27:24Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 27:25Theo Von?

No way! Why'd they taught you that?

• 27:28Speaker 01

Well, add and subtract fractions? I don't know how to do that, but I know how to do fractions.

• 27:34Theo Von?

Oh, yeah, alright. You're probably halfway to add in. Yeah, I mean, what's some of the frickin' noise that could come in there in the 4th grade? What's some stuff that, you know?

• 27:44Theo Von?

You think there's gangs or whatever?

• 27:45Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 27:48Speaker 01

  Probably.

• 27:49Theo Von?

I know. And are you looking forward to seeing some of your friends again, or no?

• 27:53Speaker 01

Well, yeah, I know everyone in the 3rd grade, so I don't really care who I get in my class.

• 27:58Theo Von?

Were you going to a new school, or just a, just same?

• 28:00Speaker 01

  No, same school.

• 28:01Theo Von?

Okay. So you'll know everybody in there, huh?

• 28:03Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 28:04Theo Von?

It'd be a little bit different, though. People would be taller, different. You know, is it hard for you to like, do they want you to be the Rizzler at school? What do they want at school? Is there a lot of pressure or anything? What does that feel like?

• 28:16Speaker 01

Well, the first year was kinda crazy, but now it's not. Cause like I took pictures with everyone in the school, you know?

• 28:24Theo Von?

  Yeah, like it's done even.

• 28:25Speaker 01

  I'm like that, I'm like.

• 28:27Theo Von?

  You are?

• 28:27Speaker 01

  I'm like.

• 28:29Theo Von?

Even the security guards, everybody? Cafeteria people?

• 28:33Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 28:34Theo Von?

Hell yeah, you gotta show them love. I respect that, man. Do y'all have school lunch at school?

• 28:40Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 28:40Theo Von?

  That's nice.

• 28:41Speaker 01

But in my other school, guess what? We got to pick what we wanted for lunch.

• 28:46Theo Von?

  What?

• 28:48Speaker 01

You know, on Friday, we had McDonald's.

• 28:51Theo Von?

  Who even let it happen?

• 28:53Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 28:54Theo Von?

Oh, that was under Biden, I think. That's crazy.

• 28:57Speaker 01

  Where is my?

• 29:00Speaker 01

  There's gloves in my pocket.

• 29:02Theo Von?

Are there really? Let me see him. Are you a crim- what is this for crime or whatever?

• 29:07Speaker 01

  I guess so.

• 29:09Theo Von?

  You guess so?

• 29:11Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 29:13Theo Von?

  Oh, yeah.

• 29:15Speaker 01

  I guess I'm a detective.

• 29:17Theo Von?

Ew, oh yeah, I'm a detective now, huh? Check this for fingerprints, eh?

• 29:24Theo Von?

Yeah, I like that, huh? BLM, homie, this is dope.

• 29:31Theo Von?

I like that. Yeah, huh? Dude, what if you do the dark Riz?

• 29:36Speaker 01

  Fingerprint?

• 29:37Theo Von?

  Nuh-uh. Whose is that?

• 29:41Speaker 01

  An elf, I don't know.

• 29:42Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 29:43Speaker 01

  Probably an elf.

• 29:44Theo Von?

Yeah. Yeah, probably just some local scoundrel. Dude, you ever do this in a glove? What's that like? Ooh.

• 29:53Theo Von?

That's really. It's a black tie affair, huh? Hmm, they smell pretty good.

• 29:59Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 30:00Theo Von?

What's one of your favorite smells, you think?

• 30:01Speaker 01

  Sharpies.

• 30:03Theo Von?

Brother. Let's light that candle again huh uh Yes dude why are why do they smell so good?

• 31:03Theo Von?

Yeah it's almost like they're just challenging you

• 31:06Speaker 01

  Yeah

• 31:06Theo Von?

Yeah like oh you don't think the Rizza can digest this?

• 31:09Speaker 01

  Yeah

• 31:10Theo Von?

That dude will fricking refine a barrel of crude in two swallows brother he gets it done man Um do you have ever have to have security at school or do you have any issues there?

• 31:20Speaker 01

  Yeah

• 31:22Theo Von?

  Do you have recess?

• 31:24Speaker 01

  Um yeah

• 31:28Theo Von?

  Yeah huh?

• 31:35Speaker 01

  You hear that? Wait wait

• 31:38Theo Von?

  Yeah

• 31:57Speaker 01

  Damn that was impressive

• 32:00Theo Von?

  Thanks brother

• 32:01Speaker 01

You know what I do with these gloves to make them like more like cool?

• 32:05Theo Von?

  What?

• 32:05Speaker 01

I bite the tips off to make them like oh my gosh That's impressive.

• 32:10Theo Von?

  That is definitely.

• 32:13Speaker 01

  That can't even.

• 32:15Theo Von?

That's Howie Mandel. He's a famous comedian. He does it. Play it for him if you've never seen Howie Mandel, one of the greats. I used to work with him.

• 32:22Speaker 01

  Really?

• 32:23Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 32:24Speaker 04

Listen to this, alright, before I start, before I start. Shit, I did, I did. No, no, come on, wait, alright, I'm gonna, okay, here's what I'm gonna do.

• 32:36Speaker 04

• 32:41Speaker 04

  Alright, alright, well, listen.

• 32:46Speaker 04

No, okay, listen, alright, before I start.

• 32:48Theo Von?

He had a joke where he would do that a lot. He was really dialed in with it.

• 32:52Speaker 01

  He just blew his head.

• 32:54Theo Von?

Pulled over his whole head and then blowed it up.

• 32:58Theo Von?

Let's see if we can find it. We might be able to find it. What is your, do you have like a finishing move or whatever when it comes to defeating enemies?

• 33:06Speaker 01

Yeah, I have a finishing move. So it's, I fly up. Right?

• 33:13Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 33:14Speaker 01

I come back down. I spin around. I turn into flames and I hit him. I go right into him. And also, and also. Someone's trying to come at me. Boom. Invisible bubble.

• 33:33Theo Von?

  Nuh-uh.

• 33:36Theo Von?

Oh, wow. So you have a defense and you have an offense?

• 33:39Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 33:39Theo Von?

  Gosh.

• 33:41Speaker 01

  And also, I have guns.

• 33:43Theo Von?

Of course. I mean, yeah, you're in Jersey.

• 33:46Speaker 01

  And claws.

• 33:47Theo Von?

And claws, yeah, for sure, yeah. Oh, definitely. Cause your wife wants her back scratched all the time. That's the problem. You know, but that's life. Here we go, right here, one more time, Howie Mandel.

• 33:57Speaker 05

  I got another one.

• 34:00Speaker 05

Okay, okay. Is it over your nose? Yes, it is. Okay, now hold the rim tight so air doesn't get out. And blow, blow out your nose. Do you have a cold? No. Okay, good.

• 34:11Speaker 06

Am I doing it? I can't see you. Holly, thank you. Really? This is great, isn't it? My daughters thank you too, man. This is good.

• 34:19Theo Von?

Yeah, and that's all you had to do to get a nursing degree back in the day.

• 34:23Speaker 01

  That looks like it hurts.

• 34:25Theo Von?

  It does, I know.

• 34:25Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 34:26Theo Von?

It's brave. Some of these guys do brave stuff.

• 34:28Speaker 01

  I'm gonna try it.

• 34:30Theo Von?

How did you meet, uh, AJ and BJ, man? How'd you meet those guys? Did you just meet them at a Costco or something?

• 34:36Speaker 01

So, I met them at American Dream Mall.

• 34:40Theo Von?

  At American Dream Mall?

• 34:41Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 34:42Theo Von?

And what, y'all were just wandering around? They were wandering around?

• 34:45Speaker 01

  No.

• 34:47Speaker 01

They messaged us and they were like, "Yo, we shouldn't meet at American Dream Mall." And we just met.

• 34:52Theo Von?

You guys aren't related, though? There's rumors out there that you guys are related. Is that true?

• 34:56Speaker 01

  No. No. We're not related.

• 34:58Theo Von?

  Nothing.

• 34:59Speaker 01

  I wish, but we're not.

• 35:01Theo Von?

Oh, that's nice of you. But you're still able to spend time together, huh?

• 35:04Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 35:06Theo Von?

And what is something that AJ likes to do, or BJ likes to do, that people don't know?

• 35:11Speaker 01

Um, open cards, like Pokemon cards? I like to do that.

• 35:16Theo Von?

Oh, really? How much is a pack of Pokemon cards?

• 35:19Speaker 01

Well, a pack is five dollars.

• 35:23Theo Von?

And you, can you... What's like the best thing you could pull out of one?

• 35:27Speaker 01

  A full art.

• 35:28Theo Von?

  A full art?

• 35:29Speaker 01

And the top card, which is... The top card's usually three hundred, four hundred.

• 35:35Theo Von?

  Four hundred dollars worth?

• 35:36Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 35:37Theo Von?

  No way.

• 35:37Speaker 01

But there's not just one set. There's like a bunch of sets.

• 35:40Theo Von?

  Okay.

• 35:41Speaker 01

Like, that's a top card and that goes... I know how much that goes for. That's like... Oh, wait.

• 35:49Theo Von?

Might not be a real one.

• 35:50Speaker 01

That goes... No, that is, I think. Oh, it goes for like, uh, six hundred dollars.

• 35:56Theo Von?

  Oh, wow. Gosh.

• 35:58Speaker 01

That gold Mewtwo, I have it?

• 36:00Theo Von?

  Mm-hmm.

• 36:00Speaker 01

I think. No, no, not that. Yeah, yeah, you see that one? I have that one, but instead of it being like pink, I have it being blue and it's all gold.

• 36:11Theo Von?

  Beautiful.

• 36:12Speaker 01

So it's basically the better version of this one.

• 36:14Theo Von?

And how often are you able to buy packs? Do you have an allowance? What do you have?

• 36:18Speaker 01

Well, really, when I go see AJ McJustice, like, I usually open cards.

• 36:24Theo Von?

Okay, so they got cards. They like doing it. Oh, nice.

• 36:27Speaker 01

And later I'm going to this place. It's five minutes away from my hotel. It's, um, I forgot what it's called, um, oh, LA Sports Cards. It's like, we've been there before, um. McJustice and me, we've been there and it's actually really cool. I pulled a, uh, three hundred dollar card there. This is it.

• 36:51Theo Von?

  Oh, wow, LA Sports Cards.

• 36:54Speaker 01

Literally five minutes away from my hotel.

• 36:56Theo Von?

Oh, that's great. They have UFC cards too. They have all kinds. I like UFC. That's probably my favorite sport. You ever seen any of it, MMA? Those guys are warriors, huh?

• 37:07Speaker 01

My best friend, his brother, his older brother, he does UFC.

• 37:14Theo Von?

  Who, what's his name?

• 37:16Speaker 01

  Uh, his name's Riley.

• 37:17Theo Von?

Riley. He does it in Jersey?

• 37:21Speaker 01

  Oh, no, Staten Island.

• 37:26Theo Von?

Wonder if I've ever seen him fight before. What's his last name?

• 37:29Speaker 01

Well, he doesn't, I think he does UFC. It's like, he does like fighting, but like, it, I, I'm not sure if it's on TV. Uh, he's not, he's not like, like famous.

• 37:40Theo Von?

  But he trains it.

• 37:41Speaker 01

Like he, he's done it like two or three matches before.

• 37:45Theo Von?

  Oh, wow, that's amazing, though.

• 37:46Speaker 01

  I think so, yeah.

• 37:47Theo Von?

Still to go fight is amazing. Riley Hunt, is that his name? Oh, there he is, right there, Riley Hunt. Let's get a gander at it.

• 37:54Speaker 01

Wait, is that him? No, it's not him.

• 37:56Theo Von?

No, no, that's a different picture of someone else.

• 37:58Speaker 01

  Yeah, Riley Hunt.

• 37:59Theo Von?

Riley Hunt, flyweight, right there. That's nice.

• 38:06Speaker 01

  Yeah, that's him.

• 38:06Theo Von?

  That's him?

• 38:07Speaker 01

  That's him.

• 38:08Theo Von?

Oh, my fricking god, dude, look how much he can jump.

• 38:11Speaker 01

  That's him.

• 38:12Theo Von?

  What?

• 38:14Speaker 01

  I think, yeah, I think that's him.

• 38:15Theo Von?

That's amazing. Dude, you gotta go watch him fight sometimes.

• 38:20Speaker 01

  I will, for sure.

• 38:21Theo Von?

He just won, March 29th, Riley Hunt reacts after his kill against Tyler Taub last week at Warriors Cup 68.

• 38:27Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm, I saw that. It's really good.

• 38:29Theo Von?

Dude, you gotta go, bro. Let me know, dude. I'll pull up to a fight. I love going to the fights. It's a lot of fun, man.

• 38:35Speaker 01

Well, usually the fights are like two or three minutes.

• 38:38Theo Von?

  Yeah, they're pretty quick sometimes.

• 38:40Speaker 01

This one was like, like 30 seconds, not a lot.

• 38:44Theo Von?

What's a sport you see yourself evolving into one day? Like if you had to go pro in something, because you're gonna have opportunities.

• 38:51Speaker 01

  Uh, probably basketball.

• 38:53Theo Von?

  For sure.

• 38:54Speaker 01

  Or baseball.

• 38:55Theo Von?

Yeah. Who would you play for if you went pro in baseball?

• 39:00Speaker 01

  The Mets.

• 39:02Theo Von?

Oh, yeah, brother. First game I ever went and saw was a Mets game.

• 39:06Speaker 01

  Really?

• 39:06Theo Von?

Yeah, Benny Agbeyani was... You too? You remember it?

• 39:11Speaker 01

  I think so, yeah.

• 39:12Theo Von?

Yeah, I think I do, too.

• 39:15Theo Von?

Damn, oh, that's Knicks right there. Ooh, look at that fade. You just got tightened up, huh? Let's go, boy! Oh, yeah, dude. Heck, yeah, look at you out there, dude. You look like Nate Robinson out there.

• 39:34Theo Von?

Oh, hit him with it, brother. That's the four pointer right there, brother.

• 39:40Theo Von?

  Anything riz possible.

• 39:41Speaker 01

  I almost made that.

• 39:43Theo Von?

Yeah, you did. I agree, I agree.

• 39:45Speaker 01

  I almost made that.

• 39:46Theo Von?

Anything riz possible, dude. When you sell the Pokemon cards, you flipping them or you keeping them? What are you doing?

• 39:53Speaker 01

  I keep them.

• 39:54Theo Von?

  Yeah?

• 39:55Speaker 01

Big Justice likes to sell them, but...

• 39:58Theo Von?

He likes to get in the business side of it.

• 39:59Speaker 01

I agree with him when he sells them.

• 40:01Theo Von?

You do? So you support his business?

• 40:03Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 40:04Theo Von?

Yeah. What's another business you think you could see you and your family starting one day? Could it be a restaurant? Could it be a shoe shop? What's something?

• 40:11Speaker 01

I don't know. Oh, and speaking of cards, there's a Pokemon pack that goes for $800.

• 40:19Theo Von?

  Uh-uh. And is it already...

• 40:21Speaker 01

  Yeah, $800.

• 40:22Theo Von?

  Is it already opened?

• 40:24Speaker 01

  No, it's like sealed, sealed.

• 40:26Theo Von?

So you don't know what's in it?

• 40:27Speaker 01

  It's from 1998.

• 40:31Theo Von?

You weren't even born then, were you?

• 40:32Speaker 01

  Wow.

• 40:34Theo Von?

That's crazy, man. Long time ago.

• 40:37Speaker 01

  Long.

• 40:39Theo Von?

What did you notice over your life change? What is something you've noticed over your? Some things change over your life?

• 40:49Speaker 01

  But.

• 40:52Theo Von?

  But it's fine?

• 40:53Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 40:55Theo Von?

I feel you, dude. That's kinda how I feel about everything. That's my number one answer most of the time. It's like, I don't know, but I guess it's fine. You know? I think that's super important. Um. I know that AJ and uh. AJ and BJ are known for the booms, right?

• 41:13Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 41:13Theo Von?

Are you allowed to boom at home? Does your mom say, keep the boom in the car? What's the rules over there?

• 41:20Speaker 01

Well, like when I'm home, I don't really do like the boom or like the wrist. They said that at home.

• 41:25Theo Von?

  Right, that's work.

• 41:26Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 41:27Theo Von?

That's like when Superman puts his cape on.

• 41:29Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 41:30Theo Von?

But at home, you just Clark Kenton around?

• 41:31Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 41:32Theo Von?

Yeah, I like that. But does your mom care if you boom at home or if you were, or does she like?

• 41:38Speaker 01

I mean, like. I don't really like. Do that. I only do it if I'm like doing a video or something or like a cameo.

• 41:46Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 41:46Speaker 01

  Really, I do this.

• 41:48Theo Von?

  That's it.

• 41:49Speaker 01

AJ and Big Justice do the boom stuff.

• 41:51Theo Von?

They're booming all day. What's the most booms you've ever seen them doing one day, probably? What's the most booms you've ever seen, uh?

• 41:56Speaker 01

Well, they only do five booms.

• 41:58Theo Von?

But have you ever seen them do even in one day?

• 42:01Speaker 01

Oh, one day they're probably, if they're doing cameos, hundred eight booms.

• 42:07Theo Von?

What? Did the police show up?

• 42:10Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 42:12Theo Von?

  God.

• 42:13Speaker 01

  That's a lot of booms.

• 42:14Theo Von?

It just seems like too many for a couple of guys. But if anybody can pull it off, they can.

• 42:20Speaker 01

I did, I did um, a thing with them. Where um, so we did a hundred cameos in one day, no, two days, two days.

• 42:31Theo Von?

  Wow.

• 42:32Speaker 01

We ended at like sixty and then the next day we finished.

• 42:37Theo Von?

Did it feel like a lot where you burn out?

• 42:39Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 42:39Theo Von?

Yeah. How are you doing personally, man? I know you got a lot going on in your life, right? Like your life's kind of different than other young men's lives, you know? You have a responsibility to, you know, the people of Gotham City, the people of the world, you know? They expect when times are tough, they expect the Rizla to show up and be there to support him, to show him love, and it'd be like a uh, you know, to be a beacon of hope in the world. But what's that pressure like on you? Like, are you handling it okay? Do you have moments where you just have to go sit out on the porch and just like, not smoke or whatever, but you know, sit there or whatever?

• 43:15Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 43:16Theo Von?

You take, you ever take some time for yourself? How do you handle that pressure?

• 43:20Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 43:21Theo Von?

  Get a massage or something?

• 43:23Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 43:23Theo Von?

Can you get a massage? Can people even legally massage a kid?

• 43:26Speaker 01

Actually, when I went to um, Big Justice's house, he had a massage chair in his room.

• 43:32Theo Von?

Oh yeah, I've, I don't know what age he is, but that starts to happen.

• 43:37Speaker 01

  He's, I think he's twelve.

• 43:39Theo Von?

  Oh, he's, yeah.

• 43:40Speaker 01

  Twelve or thirteen.

• 43:41Theo Von?

Yeah. Oh dang, so what, people were just massage, and he gets massages to come?

• 43:47Speaker 01

Yeah, and then his friend, like his friend's dad, um, wait, I forgot what his friend's dad was, well, I've, I've forgotten, but.

• 43:57Theo Von?

Yeah, are you allowed to stay over at your friend's houses or not?

• 44:00Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 44:00Theo Von?

Heck yeah, dude. What's the latest?

• 44:02Speaker 01

The whole weekend, I stayed at Big Justice's house.

• 44:05Theo Von?

Oh, you did? What's the latest y'all are allowed to stay up?

• 44:10Speaker 01

Well, really, we stay a clock, we stay up until one o'clock in the morning.

• 44:14Theo Von?

  One o'clock.

• 44:15Speaker 01

And guess what? One time we were, we were like, cause like, we, we have a, we, we sleep in one bed because it's like a big bed. And like, he sleeps like, like, like this, and then I sleep on the other side of the bed. Cause it's like a big bed.

• 44:30Theo Von?

Oh wow. That's nice, dude. If somebody has a big old bed.

• 44:34Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 44:35Theo Von?

God. Does he have any pets or not?

• 44:38Speaker 01

Oh no, I used to have a, a fish, but.

• 44:43Theo Von?

We won't say nothing huh? Things happen eh?

• 44:47Speaker 01

Yeah, his name is Bluey. He was a blue, you know the flying fish is?

• 44:51Theo Von?

I haven't seen him. Bring it up. Flying fish. New Jersey flying fish.

• 44:56Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 44:58Theo Von?

This could just be some guy's. Some young Guinea escaping prison too. Who knows what we're gonna see here?

• 45:05Theo Von?

  That's what you had?

• 45:06Speaker 01

I think so. No, it was a smaller one. It was like um.

• 45:15Theo Von?

  Where'd you get it?

• 45:17Speaker 01

  Pet uh, Petco.

• 45:19Theo Von?

You ever been to, you ever been to the fair before?

• 45:21Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 45:22Theo Von?

I love the fair. Do you?

• 45:23Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 45:24Theo Von?

What are some of your favorite rides at the fair?

• 45:27Speaker 01

Um, my favorite rides are like um.

• 45:32Speaker 01

My favorite rides. The Ferris wheel.

• 45:37Theo Von?

  Good.

• 45:37Speaker 01

I like, oh, I've been on a ride before. My soul almost left my body. It was a ride. That goes like this. It goes up. This is the sky. It goes right here.

• 45:46Theo Von?

  No, what?

• 45:48Speaker 01

It goes right here and then guess what? It spins around like that.

• 45:52Theo Von?

  Oh.

• 45:53Speaker 01

Like your chair springs around like that.

• 45:56Theo Von?

  Who let you on it?

• 45:58Speaker 01

  Big Justice.

• 45:59Theo Von?

  Oh.

• 46:00Speaker 01

And the guy even said, uh, just like you know, your soul is gonna leave your body. I thought I was gonna sign a waiver for a second. I was like.

• 46:10Theo Von?

And Big Justice is just getting you into that kind of stuff huh? God, they really do bring the boom huh?

• 46:15Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 46:15Theo Von?

  They're, they're not lying.

• 46:17Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 46:17Theo Von?

Like if I ask you this, be honest with me. When. AJ and Big Justice say they're bringing the boom. Are they really or is it cap?

• 46:25Speaker 01

Oh yeah, they're bringing the boom.

• 46:28Theo Von?

Respect. Respect man. Um, there's a couple rumors that I've heard about you. I'm gonna rattle them off. You tell me true or false, okay? I heard. That you have two cell phones.

• 46:43Speaker 01

I actually have three. I, well, my brother has two iPads and I have a phone. And I have a Nintendo, two Nintendo Switches.

• 46:54Theo Von?

  You have a scale?

• 46:55Speaker 01

  What?

• 46:56Theo Von?

  Good answer.

• 46:59Speaker 01

  And uh...

• 46:59Theo Von?

  Good answer.

• 47:00Speaker 01

  And uh...

• 47:02Theo Von?

I have Nintendo Switch, you have it?

• 47:03Speaker 01

  I do.

• 47:04Theo Von?

What? You can just switch from one or the other?

• 47:06Speaker 01

Yeah, I got the Switch, the, it's like an all-white one?

• 47:10Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 47:10Speaker 01

And then I have, um, the, the Switch 2. It's the, it's the new one. It's actually pretty cool.

• 47:18Theo Von?

Um, another rumor that I've heard, I read somewhere online, uh, and haters will say stuff, you know? But somebody said that you can't run that fast, is that true, or is that?

• 47:28Speaker 01

  I can run fast, yeah.

• 47:31Theo Von?

I think that's what we saw, what did you use? Right here. Somebody said, "I heard you can't even run that fast."

• 47:38Speaker 01

I can run, I can run fast.

• 47:40Theo Von?

  So that's Captain?

• 47:42Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 47:42Theo Von?

Gosh, man, I'm sorry people say that kind of stuff, too.

• 47:44Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 47:45Theo Von?

You could run from the law in this picture right here, I'll tell you that. You could run through prohibition right here with your father. That's an awesome picture. And where were you guys going?

• 47:57Speaker 01

  Um...

• 47:58Theo Von?

God, look at you, you look like a, you look like a...

• 48:01Speaker 01

See, I'm, I'm sitting on books.

• 48:02Theo Von?

  Rosie O'Donnell in that picture.

• 48:03Speaker 01

  I'm literally sitting on books.

• 48:05Theo Von?

Oh, you are, look how many books they got you on. Bro, those Feastables, the peanut butter ones?

• 48:12Speaker 01

No, there's peanut butter ones and chocolate ones.

• 48:14Theo Von?

But the peanut butter chocolate ones, how good are they? What are we...

• 48:17Speaker 01

I hate peanut butter, but peanut butter and chocolate just...

• 48:20Theo Von?

Yeah, it's like they knew each other.

• 48:22Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 48:23Theo Von?

  It's like, yeah...

• 48:24Speaker 01

It's like they were meant to be.

• 48:25Theo Von?

It, it really is. It's the, they're the Romeo and Juliet of our taste buds. You know? Um... Another rumor? I heard that you get unlimited screen time on the weekends?

• 48:39Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 48:40Theo Von?

  Weekdays too?

• 48:42Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 48:43Theo Von?

Oh my god. Your mom's gonna be mad, dude, that we told...

• 48:57Theo Von?

  Sorry.

• 49:02Theo Von?

It is what it is, right? Sometimes you're your own worst snitch, huh?

• 49:46Theo Von?

I like Huell's shakes because they're clean and it's quick. Sometimes I just want to make sure I have everything I need to keep going the way I want to keep going in a healthy manner. So with Huell, basically, lunch went from a daily logistical problem to a thing I can solve in about 30 seconds. Make healthy eating simple. • 51:40Theo Von?

Rumor or cap, them MD Foodie Boys, you familiar with them?

• 51:44Speaker 01

  No.

• 51:45Theo Von?

Bring them up. Rumor is that they tried to invite you into their dining club. These guys right here.

• 51:55Speaker 01

  I think so, actually.

• 51:57Theo Von?

Rumor is that, yeah, because there's one of the kids was like allergic to caramel or whatever, and that's how they blew up. And, uh, or had never seen nougat or whatever, or whatever. And, um, or had never eaten like a pork rib or something, and he just, I remember he turned all red when they even told him about it, but, yeah, somebody said they invited you to be in their gang.

• 52:18Speaker 01

  I think so, actually.

• 52:19Theo Von?

Okay. And is that something you think you would do, where you're kind of, you like your turf you're on? Or you'd consider it? Respect, I like that. Yeah, people love these guys, man. They're out of Baltimore. Some survivors up there, but they,

• 52:35Theo Von?

and they're doing their best. Um, oh, uh, have you been to any concerts?

• 52:39Speaker 01

Um, well, the last like concert thing I've been to is when I went to, uh, your comedy show, that was the last concert I went to.

• 52:50Theo Von?

  Was it really?

• 52:51Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 52:52Theo Von?

Thanks, dude. That was nice of you to come to.

• 52:55Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 52:56Theo Von?

Remember, we brought you up on stage, too. Got you a little practice in front of the crowd. Um, well, thanks for coming, man. I gotta come to one of your events.

• 53:05Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 53:05Theo Von?

  It's only fair, huh?

• 53:06Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 53:07Theo Von?

What's something you do? Is there something you're throwing every year? You're gonna start throwing? Maybe like a certain event, like maybe, um...

• 53:14Speaker 01

I wanna do my own podcast.

• 53:16Theo Von?

Oh, you do? Rizmas in July or something? Stand on Rizness? It's you going and helping out, uh, like lemonade stands that are failing or different neighborhood businesses? You know, I could see, because it seems like you really like to be helpful to people. Is that true?

• 53:33Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 53:34Theo Von?

I think I can see that in your heart, and so I think that would be neat if there was like a young, young person starting a business and you roll up and you add some Riz to it.

• 53:42Speaker 01

Mm-hmm. You know I have a hidden talent? I can crack my jaw.

• 53:47Theo Von?

  You can?

• 53:51Speaker 01

Okay, I can kinda, I can crack it.

• 53:54Theo Von?

  Try one more time.

• 53:56Speaker 01

I'm not sure if you can hear it, but like...

• 53:59Theo Von?

I can hear it. I can hear, I can, I can almost hear it. Oh, yeah.

• 54:07Speaker 01

Earlier, I cracked my neck and it was like...

• 54:10Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 54:12Theo Von?

  It feels good, huh?

• 54:12Speaker 01

My soul almost left my body.

• 54:14Theo Von?

Oh, dude, come on. You're out. But dude, I don't like when people crack their fingers. It creeps me out. Yeah, when people crack their fingers, like, what are you doing? Get some vitamins or whatever. You're falling apart out here and I gotta listen to it? When you look back on your life or this important, what's maybe a choice you wish you'd have made differently when you look back on your life?

• 54:35Speaker 01

  Um...

• 54:39Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 54:41Theo Von?

But is there like something you're like, ah, maybe I could have done that a little different, or maybe I wish I hadn't done that?

• 54:46Speaker 01

Um, when I lost the Fortnite match.

• 54:49Theo Von?

  Yeah. Burned you, huh?

• 54:51Speaker 01

And like, I tried to do a strategy and then I tried to do that strategy and it didn't work.

• 54:57Theo Von?

Oh. That happens a lot in life. I think if you have a strategy for something, it doesn't pan out.

• 55:03Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 55:03Theo Von?

You know? Um... One day, you gotta get your mother probably a nice gift, you know? Once guys kinda make it in the industry, they gotta get their mother something, you know? What's something you'd think your mother would really like from you, you know?

• 55:16Speaker 01

  A necklace?

• 55:20Theo Von?

I like that, huh? What would it have on it or say on it, or would it be? Maybe have something written on it or something?

• 55:27Speaker 01

  Hmm.

• 55:29Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 55:29Speaker 01

Maybe it'd be like a diamond, like inside of a ring?

• 55:33Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 55:34Speaker 01

Like, but like, the ring is like around the diamond, and you know how? It's not like there's a ring and then the diamond is outside of it. It's a diamond and then the ring is like, like Saturn, the ring is around the diamond.

• 55:48Theo Von?

Pretty cool. It's a good idea. I could see you doing jewelry.

• 55:51Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 55:52Theo Von?

You know? Doing a jewelry shop, maybe?

• 55:57Theo Von?

I like that. If you had to sell one dessert for the rest of your life to people, what would it be, you think?

• 56:05Speaker 01

  Um...

• 56:09Theo Von?

Trying to think what mine would be.

• 56:11Speaker 01

  Brownies.

• 56:12Theo Von?

  God, come on.

• 56:14Speaker 01

My Mima makes the best brownies.

• 56:17Theo Von?

God. Does she? What does she put in them?

• 56:20Speaker 01

  I don't know.

• 56:23Theo Von?

And what does she like to do? Does she play cards or what does she do?

• 56:28Theo Von?

Come on. What are we doing? I know, huh? I'm gonna let you crack my neck in a second. Those things look good.

• 56:35Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 56:37Theo Von?

Um, what are some things you think, like, you're an older brother, I wanna, I wanna, uh, I wanna know a little bit before, before the fame, a couple of questions. Were you a Miss Rachel fan before the fame? Do you remember her?

• 56:47Speaker 01

Oh, my God, I hate Miss Rachel. You know why?

• 56:51Theo Von?

  Why?

• 56:52Speaker 01

Because, right, I was like watching Netflix with Big Justice.

• 56:56Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 56:57Speaker 01

And then I sat on the remote by accident and Miss Rachel turned on, and I was just like staring at her, like... And then Cousin Angel came behind me and was like, "You have a crush on Miss Rachel?" I'm like, "No, I don't," and then like...

• 57:12Theo Von?

So they were pressing you about her?

• 57:14Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 57:14Theo Von?

Yeah, so that made you feel uncomfortable then a little bit? Yeah, she seemed like a sweet lady.

• 57:19Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 57:19Theo Von?

But you weren't tapped in, you weren't watching Miss Rachel videos and stuff before you blew up?

• 57:25Theo Von?

  True, you were not, right?

• 57:26Speaker 01

My baby cousin, he's like one years old, eh, he watches Mr. He watches Mr. Rachel.

• 57:32Theo Von?

Okay, so some people are watching it in the neighborhood? Okay, fair, fair.

• 57:36Speaker 01

You know what I like watching?

• 57:38Theo Von?

  What?

• 57:39Speaker 01

  Cocohmelon.

• 57:40Theo Von?

  What is it?

• 57:40Speaker 01

  Cocohmelon?

• 57:41Theo Von?

Oh, yeah. It's kinda, it's just kinda passive watching, right? DZ?

• 57:46Speaker 01

Like, say like, I watch a scary movie, like, in the middle of the night? I'm like, oh, I, I turn off the, I turn off the TV, put on every light in my house, turn back on the TV, watch Cocohmelon.

• 57:58Theo Von?

Oh, yeah, dude. Oh, you're definitely, you're definitely a regular American right there. And now a scary movie could just be the news even, and people can't even handle it.

• 58:09Speaker 01

I heard they made a live action.

• 58:11Theo Von?

  Nuh-uh. Who played Cocohmelon?

• 58:14Speaker 01

Oh, I think it's right there. That one. That one, yes, I think it. I think so. I, I, well, I heard a rumor that there was a live action one.

• 58:26Theo Von?

Huh, that'd be cool to go see. Um, do you remember what your first word was?

• 58:33Speaker 01

  Ah, Rizzler.

• 58:36Theo Von?

  Gotta be.

• 58:36Speaker 01

  Yeah, Rizzler.

• 58:37Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 58:38Speaker 01

  It was my first word.

• 58:39Theo Von?

I mean, yeah, if anything else fell out of your mouth, people would be shocked, you know? Um, I know that you've been doing some acting recently, you have a deal with Hardee's, right?

• 58:49Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 58:50Theo Von?

You were doing a commercial whenever I frickin' saw you in Nashville. Let's take a peek at it, can we?

• 58:55Speaker 07

Beautiful sunny day at the pool. There was only one thing that could make the day better. Now look at that there. The Rizzler knew what he had to do.

• 59:05Speaker 01

Have you, have you ever seen Sandlot?

• 59:07Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 59:08Speaker 01

This is like the part of the lifeguard, but instead I ate the burger.

• 59:17Theo Von?

  Mmm.

• 59:18Speaker 01

Watch this, watch this, watch this. Wait, what? Look at me. I turned upside down.

• 59:23Theo Von?

  Dang, Riz, that's... Oh.

• 59:30Theo Von?

  Wow.

• 59:38Speaker 07

  Nice execution, Riz dog.

• 59:40Theo Von?

  Yeah!

• 59:42Speaker 07

  Pork Frisco burger.

• 59:43Speaker 01

This message is approved by the Rizzler.

• 59:46Theo Von?

Yeah, dude! You did a good job, man!

• 59:50Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 59:51Theo Von?

Did you feel overwhelmed that day? Or you feel like everything was kind of manageable?

• 59:55Speaker 01

  It was actually pretty nice.

• 59:57Theo Von?

  Really?

• 59:57Speaker 01

And it was... It kind of reminded me of my, uh... Uh, what's it called? Booking.com commercial?

• 1:00:06Theo Von?

Mm-hmm. Oh, so it's reminding you of other acting you've done?

• 1:00:09Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:00:10Theo Von?

Do you feel like acting is something else you want to do in your life?

• 1:00:12Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:00:13Theo Von?

Yeah? What makes you feel that? What gives you that calling, kind of?

• 1:00:17Speaker 01

Um... I'm just good at it. Um, yeah.

• 1:00:21Theo Von?

If you weren't an actor, what would you be, then, you think?

• 1:00:24Speaker 01

  Uh, comedian. Cause I'm funny.

• 1:00:26Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:29Theo Von?

  Dude, that's cool, bro.

• 1:00:31Speaker 01

Well, I would only, like, do shows, like, once a year.

• 1:00:34Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 1:00:35Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:00:35Theo Von?

  Special event.

• 1:00:36Speaker 01

Or, like, yeah, yeah. Or, like, once a month, or something like that. Once a month is too crazy, but, like...

• 1:00:45Theo Von?

  Four times a year?

• 1:00:46Speaker 01

Yeah, four times a year. At least.

• 1:00:49Theo Von?

  At least.

• 1:00:50Speaker 01

Wait, like, when you do your comedy shows, like, when... When is your favorite time to, like, do comedy shows?

• 1:00:58Theo Von?

Probably in the evening, for sure. Yeah. If you do it too early, I think a lot of... But if you want people to come to the show, a lot of them are at work during the day. So you have to wait till they get off work. So usually, they can get there by, like, 7.

• 1:01:11Speaker 01

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:01:11Theo Von?

See a show. So that's pretty fun.

• 1:01:14Speaker 01

Like, do you do a lot of comedy shows?

• 1:01:17Theo Von?

Yeah. I'll probably do... Maybe a hundred something a year. So I've done a lot.

• 1:01:23Speaker 01

  That's good. That's good.

• 1:01:25Theo Von?

Thanks, man. Yeah, it's not, you know, I'm not where I want to be.

• 1:01:29Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:01:30Theo Von?

But it's like, you know, everybody is trying to put... Put the pieces together. When you see people that are struggling in comedy, or struggling in something... What's some of your suggestions you give them? Some advice you give them?

• 1:01:41Speaker 01

  Um...

• 1:01:44Speaker 01

  I'd just say you're riz-proof. They're riz-proof.

• 1:01:47Theo Von?

  You're riz-proof?

• 1:01:48Speaker 01

  Yeah, you're riz-approved.

• 1:01:49Theo Von?

  Oh, you're riz-approved.

• 1:01:51Speaker 01

  Did you say riz-proof?

• 1:01:53Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 1:01:54Speaker 01

Well, then they would have no riz, because they're riz-proof.

• 1:01:57Theo Von?

  I, I, I misheard you.

• 1:01:59Speaker 01

That's like having a bulletproof vest.

• 1:02:02Theo Von?

  But it stops riz.

• 1:02:03Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:02:04Theo Von?

  You don't want that.

• 1:02:05Speaker 01

  Hmm.

• 1:02:05Theo Von?

  Riz-approved.

• 1:02:06Speaker 01

That's like saying you have a bulletproof vest and then a knife can cut through it.

• 1:02:10Theo Von?

  I know.

• 1:02:12Theo Von?

Sorry I even woke up today. You know? But, but yeah, riz-proof is best.

• 1:02:18Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:02:19Theo Von?

  Alright, man?

• 1:02:20Speaker 01

  Riz-approved.

• 1:02:21Theo Von?

  Sorry.

• 1:02:22Speaker 01

  Riz-approved.

• 1:02:23Theo Von?

  Riz-approved.

• 1:02:24Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:02:26Theo Von?

Um, is this podcast riz-approved, man?

• 1:02:28Speaker 01

  Yes.

• 1:02:29Theo Von?

  Respect, dude.

• 1:02:30Speaker 01

  A hundred percent.

• 1:02:30Theo Von?

Well, if I can help you on a podcast or something sometime, or if I can give you any thoughts or ideas or anything like that, happy to share them. Who's somebody you would want to interview on your podcast, do you think, if you started one?

• 1:02:41Speaker 01

Um, this guy, his name's Ben Hasler, he's a YouTuber.

• 1:02:44Theo Von?

  Mm-hmm. Ben Haslet?

• 1:02:46Speaker 01

  Ben Azler, Ben Azalart.

• 1:02:49Theo Von?

  Ben Azalart?

• 1:02:50Speaker 01

Yeah. I call him Ben Azler, but...

• 1:02:54Theo Von?

  Ben Azalart, there he is.

• 1:02:55Speaker 01

  It's the same thing.

• 1:02:56Theo Von?

Oh, he looks like a fun guy, huh?

• 1:02:58Speaker 01

Yeah. I love his videos, they're so fun.

• 1:03:01Theo Von?

Ben Azalart. Thanks for putting me on, bro, that looks good. Jeremy Hutchins is another guy, I guess?

• 1:03:07Speaker 01

  Oh yeah, Jeremy Hutchins.

• 1:03:09Theo Von?

  So that's one of his?

• 1:03:10Speaker 01

That's his, Jeremy Hutchins is, uh, like, there's this thing, it's called the Amp Squad.

• 1:03:16Theo Von?

  Mm-hmm.

• 1:03:16Speaker 01

It's a bunch of, it's like all their friends and they all do content.

• 1:03:21Theo Von?

  Oh, bet.

• 1:03:22Speaker 01

  Sometimes together and sometimes not.

• 1:03:24Theo Von?

And do they play soccer, too?

• 1:03:25Speaker 01

Yeah, yeah. Look, that's the Amp Squad.

• 1:03:29Theo Von?

Dang. Riz, you need your own friggin' Amp Squad, dude.

• 1:03:35Theo Von?

Oh my gosh, you gotta get one of those people from uh

• 1:03:37Speaker 01

I didn't know Bree was in the AM squad. That means I'm in the AM squad cuz I met Bree.

• 1:03:43Theo Von?

Is that how you get in?

• 1:03:44Speaker 01

Yeah, the girl in the middle.

• 1:03:47Theo Von?

Oh, you're in. Dude, call him, have him send you a check.

• 1:03:52Speaker 01

  Yeah.

• 1:03:53Theo Von?

Now, do you have, keep a piggy bank at home? I know you've probably made a little bit of money over the years. Would you save it up? Or what are you doing?

• 1:03:58Speaker 01

Um. Well, I used to have this uh piggy bank. It was Superman. And you know where the Superman logo is?

• 1:04:07Theo Von?

  Yeah.

• 1:04:07Speaker 01

Every time you put a coin in this uh cape, it would make the sound, it would play the soundtrack.

• 1:04:13Theo Von?

  Nice.

• 1:04:14Speaker 01

And then, you know what, what my uh cousin would do when he came over? He kept putting coins in the thing all, all day, cuz you know, all night cuz he slept over, and I couldn't go to sleep. Cuz it, cuz it kept playing the soundtrack. And the soundtrack is like two minutes.

• 1:04:32Theo Von?

Oh. You're like, dude. Yeah, things are super, but let's get a little shut eye. You know? Ugh. Dude, sometimes cousins, that kinda stuff's just the worst, dude.

• 1:04:44Speaker 01

Yeah, I think, yeah, today's my cousin's birthday, actually.

• 1:04:47Theo Von?

Well, let's say happy birthday to him. What's his name?

• 1:04:50Speaker 01

  Julian.

• 1:04:50Theo Von?

Julian. We wanna let you know, man, happy birthday.

• 1:04:56Speaker 01

Yeah, happy birthday with the gloves. Now I'm gonna take them off cuz my hands are sweaty.

• 1:05:00Theo Von?

Yeah, my hands are sweaty too. But we had a good time.

• 1:05:04Speaker 01

  Look at my hand.

• 1:05:05Theo Von?

  Let me see it.

• 1:05:06Speaker 01

It's glossy, look. Look at the inside of this glove.

• 1:05:09Theo Von?

  Oh, that thing's damp, huh?

• 1:05:12Theo Von?

  Oh, Lord.

• 1:05:13Speaker 01

  Oh, my God.

• 1:05:14Theo Von?

  That thing is-

• 1:05:14Speaker 01

  Look at that.

• 1:05:16Theo Von?

That thing's damp. We're gonna save that. We're gonna auction that off. Some uh politician will buy it. Uh, anyway.

• 1:05:26Theo Von?

Rizzler, great to see you, man.

• 1:05:28Speaker 01

  Nice to see you.

• 1:05:29Theo Von?

And thank you for coming to my comedy show, dude. That was really nice of you. I didn't even realize that.

• 1:05:33Speaker 01

And also, before I go, I'm not sure if a lot of people know this, but I have a birthmark on my hand.

• 1:05:39Theo Von?

  Oh, I didn't know it.

• 1:05:40Speaker 01

I just want to get that out there.

• 1:05:43Theo Von?

You got it. Let me get a gander at it, huh?

• 1:05:46Theo Von?

Oh, yeah, you sure it's a birthmark? You sure?

• 1:05:49Speaker 01

  Sorry.

• 1:05:50Theo Von?

Yeah, what am I even... What am I asking the Rizzler if he's sure about something? He wouldn't open his mouth if he didn't know what he was talking about. Well, man, cheers to many more bike tricks. Uh, cheers to a lot of... Another year of great energy, the fourth grade you're pulling up in. You know? Are you scared about... Are there, like, girls in the fourth grade, or that's not...

• 1:06:14Theo Von?

  Yeah?

• 1:06:17Theo Von?

  Yeah, maybe, yeah.

• 1:06:21Theo Von?

Good luck out there, brother. That's what we're gonna say, stay hydrated. Oh, yeah.

• 1:06:26Speaker 01

That's my first sip right there.

• 1:06:28Theo Von?

  Hey, look.

• 1:06:31Theo Von?
