Another shares how fiery orbs and mysteriously repaired electronics suggest her beloved cats are still texting her from beyond. Into the wild, the Calteer Panther encounters a shimmering crocodile, a lonely lovebird, a breathless zebra, and a restless tiger.

• 1:54Corinne Vien?

Hi. Hello, this is Two Girls One Cup.

• 1:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And we are Egosstuses. That is Corinne.

• 2:01Corinne Vien?

  Hello.

• 2:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm Sabrina. And can you speak to the dead?

• 2:05Corinne Vien?

Well, some of you seem to.

• 2:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

A lot of you seem to.

• 2:09Corinne Vien?

Or you know someone who does.

• 2:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Or you've been approached by someone who has.

• 2:13Corinne Vien?

Oh, and we're envious of you.

• 2:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So envious.

• 2:17Corinne Vien?

The dream. To just be in a grocery store and someone's like.

• 2:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Just picking your pickles and someone's like.

• 2:22Corinne Vien?

And someone's picking your pickles? I was like, what the? Where is this trend to?

• 2:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No, you're picking your pickles.

• 2:28Corinne Vien?

Someone's like, your dead dog is scared.

• 2:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Do you want deli? Do you want sliced? And then someone's like, your grandfather says, purple panties.

• 2:38Corinne Vien?

Which used to be our code word, but then we changed it, which I can't remember what it is.

• 2:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Now I can't remember what we changed it to.

• 2:43Corinne Vien?

  We got a new one.

• 2:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Also, people have been asking about the sweatshirt that is, that Corinne is wearing, that is Corinne. And the answer to your questions of, is this new merch? Is no. This is.

• 2:54Corinne Vien?

  Well, it's yes and no.

• 2:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yes and no.

• 2:56Corinne Vien?

It was new merch for the people who attended our Boston live show.

• 2:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This is our live show merch and we do have some pieces left. Like literally a box of t-shirts and sweatshirts left. I'm going to go through it and then I'm going to put them available for sale for Patreon members. In 2026, it is on our list to have new merchandise.

• 3:16Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 3:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So while there is not any new merchandise at the moment, there is some merch for sale on our website. And there will be this item that Corinne is wearing available on our Patreon and then new merch coming in 2026. Until then, let's read stories from you spooky bitches.

• 3:31Corinne Vien?

And we have a theme. And if you didn't get the theme from our beginning rant. It's psychic and mediums.

• 3:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Which I'm like both sad and happy that this is true. I was trying to find more stories where people were approached by a medium. And there aren't that many.

• 3:49Corinne Vien?

It's one of those like weird things where I feel like sometimes like the ethics of it, or it's like the the setting and you have to feel the vibes or you're just like, oh my God, people are constantly talking to me shut up. I gotta.

• 3:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

She's too stressed picking her pickles.

• 4:00Corinne Vien?

  Pick my pickles.

• 4:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Am I in the mood for pickles? I don't know. What's your, God, that Sabrina girl is obsessed with pickles.

• 4:07Corinne Vien?

Just know if you see us and someone comes through for us, you are welcome to share.

• 4:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Truly. If someone is screaming at you right now saying, why do I want to go back to pickles?

• 4:20Corinne Vien?

  Tell her about the pickles.

• 4:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Tell me. So if someone listening want something to do with pickles, because maybe this message is for you.

• 4:26Corinne Vien?

  Are you pregnant?

• 4:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No.

• 4:28Corinne Vien?

  Craving pickles?

• 4:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm not even craving them. My brain is craving talking about them.

• 4:33Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 4:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The pickles are haunting me. It's the pickles possessing me.

• 4:37Corinne Vien?

  Oh, my God.

• 4:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Possessed by pickles. Pickle possession.

• 4:40Corinne Vien?

Mmm, now I'm craving that Pickle Rick pizza from Flying Saucers. So good.

• 4:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It is good. I actually even tried it.

• 4:47Corinne Vien?

  Pizza. Delicious.

• 4:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yummy.

• 4:48Corinne Vien?

  Rick and Morty.

• 4:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, but this story is about psychics. Starts with a P, different, different word.

• 4:55Corinne Vien?

  Penis?

• 4:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Penis.

• 4:59Corinne Vien?

  And scene.

• 5:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So this is from my listener Jenna, who says that "An evil entity in my haunted house made me a psychic medium."

• 5:10Corinne Vien?

Well, that's kind of a silver lining.

• 5:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

"Hello, lovely ghostesses. I discovered your podcast with my best friend and fellow witch sister Christina. Your friendship reminds us so much of our own, and we both love the oaky spooky just as much as you two. I've been doing my best to catch up on all the episodes, as this is now my favorite podcast. Anyhoo, this story is 100% factual and based on real events that I experienced. I will attach photos of the house. This is the story of how a dark entity in the haunted house I couldn't leave made me a psychic medium."

• 5:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

"The year was 2016, and my now ex-husband and I were in search of a new place to live. Our budget was small, and the list of available housing was even smaller. Finally, after a few weeks of searching, we found a three-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath with so much charm, and it was $300 below our budget. I couldn't believe it. It had everything we wanted and unknowingly, much, much more. We immediately scheduled a time to view the property, and what was strange about this was the property manager met us at her office, gave us the keys, and said that we could go check it out ourselves, but they were not coming with us."

• 6:16Corinne Vien?

  That's really weird.

• 6:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  We-

• 6:18Corinne Vien?

That feels like a big- Red clock.

• 6:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But it feels like that after the fact, after knowing like how many things went wrong. But in the moment, it's like, oh, maybe they're really busy and they trust me. I don't know.

• 6:27Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 6:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We excitedly took the keys, did the walkthrough, and admittedly, something did feel off. The air was thick in the house, although completely cleared out, felt occupied. It was like we were visiting a home that we were not invited to. And the layout of the home was also quite interesting. When you enter the house, you step into the living room. On the left side of the room was a brick fireplace with a long rectangular mirror above it. To the right was the beginning chain of bedrooms. You could walk through the entire house in a circle, so like looped around. Every room had two doors, one that brought you into the room and one that led you to the next room. However, despite the quirkiness and the weird vibes, the space was exactly what we needed, and we could not pass up this deal. So we put down the deposit and signed a 12-month lease. We couldn't believe it.

• 7:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It felt too good to be true, because it was. Oh, man. Immediately after moving into the house, I would hear heavy footsteps walking around. At first, I thought it was my ex-husband, as he was a tall, large man. However, he played video games all day and would only really leave the room to use the restroom, which was adjoined to his gaming room. So it would be odd for him to actually be walking around the house as frequently as I was hearing the steps. The next thing I noticed was my decor would just fall off shelves, fall off cabinets and tables. And I started to realize something was wrong. After a couple of weeks, we followed up with the property manager about a window that needed to be fixed in our bedroom, that we had noted during our first walkthrough. When she called a team to fix it, she told us, "I'm sorry, this wasn't done before you moved in.

• 7:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I couldn't do your walkthrough. I won't go in that house." I asked her why, and she said so casually, "Oh, it's definitely haunted." Which at least, like, she's not hiding it. Had they asked in the beginning, she probably would have said. Because it's not her home. She's like a manager.

• 8:11Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 8:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I was left stunned. At this point, I already knew something was up, but the validation was shocking. I decided to try to make my best out of the situation, and I named the ghost. I called him Charlie, which was a big mistake.

• 8:23Corinne Vien?

  Uh-oh.

• 8:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

As soon as it had a name, the activity increased.

• 8:27Corinne Vien?

Damn it. It's so hard, because it's like sometimes that is the right.

• 8:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Because you want to make it less powerful by just like joking about it.

• 8:34Corinne Vien?

Right. Or like, you don't know if it's a negative entity yet. Like, it could just be an old tenant or somebody who's taken up residency, and they just want to be acknowledged as the other roommate, feel some love.

• 8:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

All the signs are pointing to evil. Footsteps got more prominent, doors and cabinets would open and slam close. My ex and I would often see a black figure out of the corner of our eyes. And as the days passed, the activity grew. So I decided to fight back. I started praying, I used sage and Palo Santo before I knew about the cultural appropriation. I dove deeper into tarot, something I had been practicing a year earlier. And the first day I decided to sage, I was home alone. As I started walking slowly from room to adjoining room, hitting every corner with smoke. I finally made it through the whole house and ended in the primary bedroom, which was at the back of the house. And all of a sudden, the air started to feel thicker. And I started to get this prickly feeling on the back of my neck. As I entered the room's bathroom, I reached up to sage the mirror,

• 9:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

and I felt a huge rush of air go directly into my ear. It was as if something about an inch from my head blew all of its air straight at me.

• 9:39Corinne Vien?

  Oh, yuck.

• 9:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I screamed, I dropped the sage in the sink and ran out of the house. This thing was not budging, and it was letting me know.

• 9:45Corinne Vien?

It's like a kind of weird and gross concept, like ghost breath.

• 9:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Ugh. Because breath is usually hot, but what is ghost breath like? Cold?

• 9:54Corinne Vien?

Breath is hot if you go, but cold if you go.

• 9:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's my, my, my is hot.

• 10:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Both feel the same.

• 10:04Corinne Vien?

Well, if you, it's hot, okay. Hot here, but then go further, further away.

• 10:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, because, yeah, because it gets colder.

• 10:11Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, so.

• 10:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

When it connects with the air.

• 10:13Corinne Vien?

  But it's a ghost.

• 10:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's right here, I think.

• 10:16Corinne Vien?

All right, science. Have to experience.

• 10:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

What is the science of ghost breath? After this incident, I vowed to never be home alone for the rest of the lease. Despite the huge amount of fear, I continued working with my tarot cards to uncover the mystery of this entity. And what I gathered was that this entity was not of this world. It was brought to this house as a manifestation of hate. There was no history I could gather on the house itself, as it was a rental property for as long as I could discover online. And as time went on, I could feel my psychic abilities starting to develop. The image of the entity started becoming clearer in my mind's eye, and I could feel where it was in the house. When it was not lurking around in the house, it would fester in a closet that was attached to the dining room. And the weird thing was that inside this closet door handle was a brass clown face.

• 11:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And the walls inside the closet had scratches on them. Here's an image of the clown face.

• 11:08Corinne Vien?

Oh. I do not like it.

• 11:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's strange.

• 11:12Corinne Vien?

  It is strange.

• 11:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And also scratches, ugh. And that's not all. The morning after a house party we hosted, my little chihuahua, Beasley, was playing with a pong ball while I was on the couch watching TV nursing a hangover. And I could hear her in a living room bouncing the ball, then running after it. And after a few minutes, I could hear that the ball was no longer bouncing. So I called out for Beasley, but she never came to me, which was very unlike her. So I got up and I kept calling for her until I heard a little whining sound coming from inside that dining room closet.

• 11:43Corinne Vien?

  No.

• 11:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I opened the door and my poor B was shaking in the corner.

• 11:47Corinne Vien?

  Oh, my gosh.

• 11:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

There is literally no way she could have gotten locked in that closet by herself.

• 11:51Corinne Vien?

This is so terrible. I hate this.

• 11:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And she says that that door was always closed. We always had it shut and to open it, you had to fully turn the handle and pull with force. So I don't know how she got into the closet without me hearing the door open or close. So after that incident, we filled the closet with boxes and moved a folding table in front of the door so it couldn't open again. In the final months at the home, I started waking up in the middle of the night, anywhere from 2:30 AM to 4:00 AM. At first, it felt like I was being watched, but as the nights passed, I started seeing a black figure in the corner by the entrance of the room. This figure was not a solid mass, but instead looked like a pitch black goo leaking from the ceiling to the floor.

• 12:30Corinne Vien?

  Yuck.

• 12:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Instead of the natural dripping nature of goo, each end point was sharp, like needles trying to escape a tar-like ooze. I would scream every time I saw it.

• 12:41Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 12:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And the substance would dissipate. Every night was like living in a horror movie, but we didn't have any spare money to leave the house, so we were stuck for the rest of the lease.

• 12:49Corinne Vien?

Also, the layout now of the house is even more scary because the fact that it's a circle and like you

• 12:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You can't really run from it.

• 12:56Corinne Vien?

No, it can continue to follow you, like just chase you in a circle, like one door, through the next door, through the next room, like an endless loop that you're stuck in.

• 13:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

With this entity. Much of this went on for the few months that followed, but the last week of the lease was the scariest by far. It was clear the entity knew we were leaving and it was angry because it liked feeding off of our fear. We were cutting it off from its food. Each passing night of that week, the entity manifests closer and closer to our bed. And on our final night, I woke up to it being right at the end of the bed. I screamed for it to go the fuck away and it ripped the sheets off the bed. Straight out of

• 13:38Corinne Vien?

Oh gosh, that gave me chills.

• 13:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I screamed, I curled

• 13:41Corinne Vien?

  Wait, where was your husband?

• 13:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

My ex-husband was not in bed. He was in his gaming room four days, four doors away, four days away.

• 13:47Corinne Vien?

  Four days.

• 13:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Four days away.

• 13:49Corinne Vien?

It does feel like that, right?

• 13:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This entity was still there. It did not disappear as it usually did. I was crying. My pajama shorts I was wearing got pulled down to my knees. I was screaming bloody murder when finally my ex busted through the door and then poof, the entity was just gone.

• 14:06Corinne Vien?

What the fuck? That is such a vicious attack.

• 14:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I ran out of my house, drove away, and I slept in my car. I only re-entered the house during daytime to pack our boxes. Several years have now passed. I got divorced from my ex, I moved out of state, and while visiting my hometown, I decided to take my now current husband to drive by what I call the Charlie House. He has heard all the stories and I decided may as well put a face to the name. We quickly drove by, I got a bad chill, and we kept moving. The next day I got a call from a friend who at the time did not know I was in town. He said, "I had a dream last night. I was in your old haunted house, but I was looking through the window and I saw you driving by. I saw Charlie and Charlie said, "I'm always watching."

• 14:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I was so freaked out because there was literally no way my friend could know that I was in town.

• 14:57Corinne Vien?

  I got chills again.

• 14:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Or even know that I drove by the house. It still scares me to this day, but one thing I can take away is that this house gave me a gift. It was like living in a spiritual gym every day. And to this day, I now do psychic and medium work as my full-time job.

• 15:13Corinne Vien?

  Oh my god.

• 15:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I do not think I could have developed these abilities without living in that hell for 12 whole months. Thank you for reading. See you on the other side, Jenna. And if you're interested, they are on Instagram at Plus Size Medium.

• 15:27Corinne Vien?

  That is freaking wild.

• 15:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Also, what a great Instagram handle. Plus Size Medium.

• 15:32Corinne Vien?

Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I got, it took me a minute. I get it.

• 15:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But we also have two photos, one of the exterior of the house, one of the interior of the house.

• 15:42Corinne Vien?

I don't know that I, I mean, like with the wood paneling and stuff, like some, sometimes it can be spooky, but like you can also see

• 15:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Charm?

• 15:49Corinne Vien?

  Charm.

• 15:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 15:50Corinne Vien?

So it's like, I'm not sure I would, and it seems like it has good light.

• 15:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 15:55Corinne Vien?

  But.

• 15:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The property manager didn't want to go and it and especially, again, it is one of those things where easy to afterwards be like, oh, that feeling of it not being our house or walking into it and feeling like we were in someone else's home, even though it was empty. In the moment, I feel like that's so easy to write off.

• 16:13Corinne Vien?

Yeah. It does make me wonder what the property manager knew, like beyond her own experiences, maybe just like how many tenants had said.

• 16:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Fled.

• 16:21Corinne Vien?

Right. And then it's like if that happens, I guess it's up to the owner, right? Like the owner's supposed to.

• 16:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I mean, the owner has a property manager because they don't want to deal with their own house.

• 16:31Corinne Vien?

But I, I do feel like you should be doing something.

• 16:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Maybe they're the ones who brought it in. Well, Jenna said that through their work, she was able to determine that it was a manifestation of hate. So it's almost like did something happen with the owner and their personal lives that some really toxic things or negative experiences in life happened and hate manifested.

• 16:57Corinne Vien?

I hate that. And I hate how like present and active the hatred is, like that it can manifest in such a physical form that it can rip sheets and pajama bottoms off of someone so aggressively. That is horrifying.

• 17:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And it does feel like the entity was almost targeting her, Jenna, more and more because it knew she could see him. It knew that she was like trying.

• 17:18Corinne Vien?

She was also way more aware. Her ex-husband was probably headphones on, gaming, like totally

• 17:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 17:26Corinne Vien?

zoned into whatever was happening right in front of him on the screen all day.

• 17:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I guess that's like terrifying story, but you got a gift out of it?

• 17:35Corinne Vien?

Yeah. Hopefully you like having the gift.

• 17:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yes.

• 17:39Corinne Vien?

Because I know sometimes it can be scary.

• 17:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm so excited. I'm getting my whole body MRI scan from Prenewvo in a couple of weeks.

• 17:47Corinne Vien?

• 19:51Corinne Vien?

To lovely Corinne and Sabrina, the only two women on earth that I can tell this story to without sounding like a total nut job, thank you for creating this platform and for making it so special and spooky to listen every single day.

• 20:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You're welcome.

• 20:03Corinne Vien?

  I want to share-

• 20:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  We did it for you.

• 20:05Corinne Vien?

Yeah, we did it specifically for you. Don't tell anyone else.

• 20:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But it's just for us, the three of us.

• 20:11Corinne Vien?

I want to share a story about my two beloved cats, George.

• 20:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Is the other one Charlie?

• 20:17Corinne Vien?

  No, but is it Gilli or Jilly? It's G I L L Y.

• 20:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I would say Gilli.

• 20:21Corinne Vien?

I, my reaction is Gilli too, but now I'm, I'm worried that it's Jilly, like Jillian.

• 20:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I'm gonna say Gilli.

• 20:28Corinne Vien?

Okay, we're gonna say Gilli, but so sorry if it's Jilly.

• 20:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Text us if it's wrong.

• 20:33Corinne Vien?

You have our number, call us.

• 20:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, the cats, the cats are texting.

• 20:36Corinne Vien?

Yeah, that's true. Okay, George and George and Jilly sounds right.

• 20:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But George and Gilli also sounds right.

• 20:41Corinne Vien?

  Okay.

• 20:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You do what you want. In my head, I'm gonna keep saying Gilli.

• 20:47Corinne Vien?

These are some extraordinary signs that I have received from these two cats. A story that's uncanny, heartwarming, and yes, involves iTouch text messages from beyond.

• 20:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Damn.

• 20:58Corinne Vien?

The story begins the day after my beloved Bengal cat, George, passed away at age 16 in 2021. I got a text from a friend, mostly just a friend, but.

• 21:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Fuck buddy too?

• 21:10Corinne Vien?

She said, mostly just a friend, but very psychic.

• 21:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, a psychic friend.

• 21:15Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, it's a psychic friend.

• 21:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But it's mostly just a friend.

• 21:18Corinne Vien?

Who also happens to be very psychic.

• 21:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 21:21Corinne Vien?

Saying that she had been receiving strange messages from George and she needed to tell me. She shared things he had been quote, saying, including that he wished that he could warm me up because he could feel that I was cold.

• 21:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh my God, that's so sweet.

• 21:38Corinne Vien?

I had literally been sitting next to my broken space heater crying. Then she said, okay, I'll talk to you later. And then two seconds later, an iTouch message appeared on her phone to me with a little fiery orange ball of light. iTouch messages are animated, so the orange ball moves all over the screen like it's alive, which is very strange looking and even more so in this context. She immediately texted me back and said, wait, what was that? I did not send that. Neither of us had touched anything on our phones and there was no time for this thing to appear by accident. Several hours later, my broken space heater, which had been unusable for days, suddenly started working again. It felt like George was literally trying to warm me up in real life.

• 22:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, George.

• 22:23Corinne Vien?

Later, I went to a real psychic medium, as if your friend's psychic medium abilities are not real. Like a paid psychic. A professional psychic medium to ask about the fiery orange ball. And she confirmed that this is exactly what George looks like in spirit form.

• 22:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, that's so cute.

• 22:42Corinne Vien?

Around this time, my relationship with my boyfriend, Robert, had hit a rocky patch. We had been together for a year and a half, and he had freaked out during COVID while taking care of his daughter, unsure that he could handle a relationship. I loved him deeply, and then suddenly he wasn't there. My psychic friend told me that George, now a little spirit cat, was pulling strings to make sure that I was cared for. And not long after, Robert did come back into my life. It felt like George had my back from the other side. So fast forward four years. Gilly, who'd always acted like George's brother, became very sick. I was out of the house while my mom cared for him, and I was texting her to check in. I said that if Gilly wasn't okay, I hope George was waiting for him.

• 23:27Corinne Vien?

And right then, the exact same fiery orange ball of light appeared from my mom's phone to me.

• 23:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, my God, I love that because it's not the same person that it's coming from. But it's like, and it hasn't happened in years.

• 23:41Corinne Vien?

And the both of them happened like right after talking about him.

• 23:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 23:45Corinne Vien?

Like, it's like in context, like he's also being like, yep, I'm here.

• 23:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's me.

• 23:50Corinne Vien?

It wasn't just a similar message, it was identical to the one from four years earlier. My mom, a senior citizen who does not know how to use eye touch, had no idea how that happened or even what it was. Yet somehow it was sent from her iPhone. There was no way this could have been an accident. It felt like George was right there, trying to tell me that he was going to be with Gilly in his final moments. Right after that second text, I started thinking about what color Gilly's spirit ball of light might be. I was talking with my sister, speculating that maybe his would be green. Later, when Gilly was about to be euthanized, I was crying and I was telling the vet, who was putting him down, the story about George's orange ball of light, and I was wondering what color Gilly's spirit might be. I asked her if she believed in the afterlife, and she said she didn't really know.

• 24:34Corinne Vien?

But as I was sharing the story about the orange ball and speculating about Gilly, she just blurted out, "Well, I'm seeing greenish teal." And immediately added, I don't know why I said that. I don't even think like that. It was completely unexpected. And unprompted. And so uncanny. After Gilli passed. Wild, we chose green as our light. Yeah. It's for, it's, again, this podcast is for you. After Gilli passed, I began seeing green balls of light everywhere. One appeared in the wine aisle at the grocery store. A plastic green ball in the middle. Gilli's like, get some wine. Get your pickles and wine. A plastic green ball in the middle of the aisle, nowhere near any toys.

• 25:15Corinne Vien?

I was so stunned. And then two minutes later, a woman in front of me at the checkout handed me a quarter saying, this must be yours, which that was not possible. I've been noticing quarters everywhere since George died, and I assumed that this was because George Washington is on it, so making it more of a clear sign from George. That's sweet. That day, the green ball from Gilli was immediately followed by a quarter. It felt like a one-two punch for my spirit angel cats. And since then, I have seen green balls of light in other places, including a video that I took overlooking Bellingham Harbor, where a literal green ball of light bounced around in the video. Oh. It is so extraordinary and so deeply comforting. So sweet.

• 25:57Corinne Vien?

To give you an idea of how astronomically improbable all of this is, sending an iTouch message takes deliberate steps. It's not something that can just happen by accident. And for the exact same fiery orange ball of light to appear four years apart on two different iPhones, while coinciding with emotional events around George and Gilli is just effectively impossible. And yes, I did the research. I'm very logical. I really like numbers. And even with generous assumptions, the odds are in the hundreds of millions, maybe billions, which makes the experience feel truly miraculous. My two cats are together now, and I truly believe they continue to send little nudges from beyond. Absolutely.

• 26:36Corinne Vien?

Fiery orange from George, green from Gilli, reminding me that love, guidance, and connection does not end with death. And somehow, maybe they're even helping pull the right people back into my life when needed. Robert and I are very happy now, and I'm so grateful that my spirit angel cats are looking out for me. Thank you for listening. I know you love cats, especially Sabrina, so I hope this resonates.

• 27:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Absolutely.

• 27:01Corinne Vien?

  Love yous, Karen.

• 27:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Love you, Karen.

• 27:04Corinne Vien?

  Wow.

• 27:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm sorry for your losses, because it's very hard to lose your beloved pets in any capacity. But I love that this is a story where they're guiding you and helping you. And like, even people who don't, like, have paranormal inclinations are picking up on their energies.

• 27:23Corinne Vien?

Right, so amazing. And I like that they both have like the same sign, but just slightly different.

• 27:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Different colors.

• 27:30Corinne Vien?

  To look for.

• 27:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 27:31Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 27:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

George is like, let me teach you how to do this. Pick a color, any color.

• 27:37Corinne Vien?

George is super involved. He's like, I need to fix your spa- George is like, kind of your-

• 27:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Handyman?

• 27:43Corinne Vien?

I, I don't even know. I was gonna say like a dad, but then also in ways like a boyfriend, like it's-

• 27:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Guardian angel.

• 27:48Corinne Vien?

Guardian angel. It's like, let me keep you warm. I'm gonna fix your space heater for you. But then it's also like, there's some matchmaking involved.

• 27:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 27:54Corinne Vien?

Ah, I think you two might need to just shuffle back together again.

• 27:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So sweet.

• 27:59Corinne Vien?

George is really doing a lot.

• 28:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Love that story. So, just sad and, and a do- my mom had to put down our family dog.

• 28:07Corinne Vien?

  Oh, yeah.

• 28:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Ruby. She was 15, so she's lived a long life.

• 28:11Corinne Vien?

  She did.

• 28:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But she was starting to have liver failure and just her-

• 28:14Corinne Vien?

  It's so awful.

• 28:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, her life, quality of life was pretty poor. Um, but my mom said that the first couple of days after she passed, she kept hearing Ruby's nails, like click clacking on, like outside of her bedroom. And she, like, at first she was like, oh, maybe it's just I'm used to hearing that every morning. Like, I'm just hearing it. And she was like, no, I'm hearing it.

• 28:36Corinne Vien?

  I love that.

• 28:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Maybe she's still here.

• 28:38Corinne Vien?

She's hanging around until your mom is maybe ready to-

• 28:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know. Sad.

• 28:44Corinne Vien?

Losing pets are just, it's just like-

• 28:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's so sad.

• 28:46Corinne Vien?

  Such a horrible pain.

• 28:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, this is a story from our listener, Kelsey. And as a content warning, this does involve child loss, miscarriages. Um, but it does have a happier ending. But it is called Psychic Prediction and Baby Monitor Scare. Well, howdy, y'all.

• 29:06Corinne Vien?

  Howdy.

• 29:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The juice. It's been a hot minute since I last wrote in, but I have life updates I know you'd appreciate, so buckle up. Back in 2019, I met a friend who told me about this psychic from her hometown in Connecticut that I had to talk to. Her name, this is the most psychic name. Her name is Claudette. That is so psychic. I feel like any French name feels very psychic. Claudette. Can't think of anything else. She is ancient and so hard to understand over the phone because she has a heavy French-Canadian accent. But she's the OG. Anyway, from the first time I talked to her in 2019 through the end of 2023, she told me I was going to have twin girls. She was insistent about it.

• 29:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

She also told my husband that we would have twins and she told my dad that his daughter, me, would have twins. Mind you, they all called from separate phones and different times and different days. She had no way of knowing we were all related. So it wasn't like, oh, I'm gonna like reference my dad to you. Right. Her dad just called, didn't give any context. Yeah, there's no. Yeah. Although she always told me I'd have twin girls, she was never quite clear on the timeline of it. And unfortunately, I struggled with fertility issues and I really started to have doubts in Claudette. Yet she remained adamant about the twins and told me not to worry. I started fertility treatment summer of 2023 and my second cycle, I got pregnant with twins. Wow, that's amazing. Sadly, I did lose both very early on.

• 30:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I called Claudette again as I was at one of the lowest points in my life and I needed a glimmer of hope that she could still be right. And then she told me this time, "Don't worry, you're going to find out you're pregnant right after the holidays." Well, on December 28th of 2023, I found out I was pregnant again. This time with fucking triplets.

• 30:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's crazy. My husband and I freaked the fuck out saying Claudette did not tell us it would be triplets. Oh my god. Two weeks later, though, we sadly lost one of the babies. However, I did go on to have an amazingly healthy pregnancy otherwise, and we now have two beautiful twin girls.

• 31:15Corinne Vien?

Power to you for having two newborns at once.

• 31:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. Now, the spooky part that I absolutely feared would happen with having babies in my house, the baby monitor. Why are those things so innately freaky?

• 31:28Corinne Vien?

Oh, I love this. I actually put.

• 31:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I saw.

• 31:30Corinne Vien?

Yeah. Next year, I want to do like weird.

• 31:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wheels probably have enough encounters.

• 31:34Corinne Vien?

  Baby monitors.

• 31:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. So send those to us, baby monitor hauntings. Kelsey says, my twinkies, I love that, are now 11 months old and I've watched their baby monitor screen every night since I started sleeping in their crib at five months old. And I've never seen what I saw the other night. I've seen little flecks of what I want to assume is dust particles floating around, although some definitely move way too quickly to be dust. But anyway, my girls rarely wake up in the middle of the night. Blessed.

• 32:02Corinne Vien?

Oh, my God. Thank, honestly, thank God, because.

• 32:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, because you don't experience that.

• 32:07Corinne Vien?

I don't experience that. And I have one. If I had two and they both, oh, my God. I would have to sell feet pics to hire a night nurse.

• 32:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 32:15Corinne Vien?

We would need way more help.

• 32:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I would support that. I would even help you. I'd sell my own feet pics and give you the money.

• 32:21Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 32:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 32:22Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, thanks.

• 32:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This night, both girls woke up, started to whine and fuss. I was trying to assess whether to go soothe them or if they'd both quickly go back to sleep or not. Whenever I myself have trouble falling asleep, I like to say a little prayer stating out that only love and light are allowed in this house and anything else can get the fuck out. So I figured I would just say a prayer for the girls to help protect them. While immediately upon saying this protection prayer, I see a bright, white, misty, see-through apparition blob appear over one of my girls, then slowly move left out of the frame. I gasped so loud, I woke my husband up. And then, immediately, both of my girls stopped fussing and fell back to sleep.

• 33:03Corinne Vien?

  What the fuck?

• 33:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Also, just to tell you.

• 33:06Corinne Vien?

The fact that she even thought like, oh, I should say.

• 33:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  The intuition. Yeah.

• 33:10Corinne Vien?

  That is so.

• 33:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Let me tell you, it was 100% not dust or bugs. There were no car lights that would be able to come through that window. I know, believe me. The monitor doesn't record, or else I would have loved to have sent you the video. And also for me to watch back, so I could have gotten more validation. But I know what I saw. I love the ghost stories, I eat them up, but I'm afraid to experience anything myself. And now I am terrified to look at the baby monitor because I don't want to see anything else, which is probably why when loved ones who have passed visit me, it's always in dreams, because I think it's the only way they know I won't be freaked out. I guess cheers to forever saying protection prayers now. Love you guys so much, stay spooky, see you on the other side. Pics below of my little rainbow babies, Kelsey. And we'll keep these to ourselves just for...

• 33:55Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 33:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  But they're so cute.

• 33:57Corinne Vien?

  Oh my gosh. The hair.

• 34:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And shout out to Claudette, who's the real deal.

• 34:02Corinne Vien?

I know, Claudette knew what she was saying. She said, "Don't you worry."

• 34:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow. Scary.

• 34:07Corinne Vien?

  That is really scary.

• 34:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm curious what entity it was, because clearly both of your daughters saw it.

• 34:13Corinne Vien?

Well, they were upset by the presence. So it wasn't, it didn't feel like it was like a, oh, visit from like a grandmother.

• 34:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's not like a wake, just looking at something, they were fussing and yeah.

• 34:21Corinne Vien?

Yeah. Ooh. I'm glad that it's gone.

• 34:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 34:25Corinne Vien?

Even if maybe, like, let's hope that it wasn't intending to be harmful. And then once it realized, like, there was a protection prayer needed and they...

• 34:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It was like, oh, sorry.

• 34:33Corinne Vien?

  My bad.

• 34:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, gotta go.

• 34:35Corinne Vien?

Man, you got two creepy kids at once.

• 34:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know.

• 34:39Corinne Vien?

Lots of paranormal activity to happen.

• 34:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And they're still young, so there's plenty of time for more creepy encounters, right?

What's it take to be a mentor with big brothers, big sisters? It takes 30 minutes and a cup of coffee, a video game, best two out of three. It takes sharing thumbs up emojis, clapping emojis, and loaded nachos at halftime. That's how you make an impact on a young kid's life. So go on, share a few hours a month, because mentorship may sound huge, but the truth is, it takes little to be big. To learn more, volunteer or donate, go to bbignow.org.

• 36:05Corinne Vien?

Okay, I have a story called "My Teenage Brother Is Psychic." My dear, beautiful, wonderful ghostesses. First of all, thank you for doing what you do. My name is Sophie, feel free to use my name. I'm a longtime listener and listening to your podcast every hour of every day gives me immense joy. I've always been a believer in the paranormal, but I'd never really had an encounter of my own. I'm so jealous. I don't really know what to make of this story, but here we go. I think my grandpa, dad, and little brother are all psychic. I love that it's running down the male line of the family. Mm-hmm, the paternal line. That's not usually the case. Mm-mm. My dad's side of the family is from the Philippines, and Filipino culture is rich with elements of the paranormal.

• 36:47Corinne Vien?

I'm not sure why or how, but it seems like all of the men in my dad's side of the family line are connected to each other on some deeper plane. For example, when my dad was a baby, my grandpa was in the Navy on an aircraft carrier halfway across the world. And while on the ship, he had a dream that my dad had rolled off the bed at home. He called my grandma, panicking, and she confirmed what he had seen in his dream was exactly what had happened. That's wild. As a kid, my dad had plenty of paranormal experiences. Disembodied voices, shadow people, et cetera. Recently, my dad has been more open with us about his gift. For the past couple of months, he's been adamant that something was going to happen in September.

• 37:27Corinne Vien?

Over and over, he would tell me he wasn't sure what, but something was going to happen to us in September. That's so scary. There's one September every year, but there's a lot of years. There's a lot of years. Well, it's September now, and something happened.

• 37:42Corinne Vien?

My little brother, I say little, but he's 15, plays high school football. He's only a sophomore, but he's ranked in the top 25 of quarterbacks in the entire state of Florida. Subtle flex, I'm the oldest sister, so he's basically my firstborn too. Oh. Anyways, four games into his football season, my brother blows his ACL, like completely obliterates his ACL. The impact was so bad during the game that his tendon is just completely gone. I'm completely devastated, literally in shambles as we get the news. And he's sitting here completely calm. And then he decides to tell us that for the past month, he has had four dreams leading up to this exact moment. Her brother? Yeah. In the first dream, he was laying on the field injured during the football game. Oh, I just got chills. I hate that.

• 38:28Corinne Vien?

In the second dream, he was receiving news that he was done for the season. This happened. Then my brother decides to tell us nonchalantly that he had a dream a couple of weeks before, floating above his body, watching himself in surgery, which is scheduled to happen. Finally. The last dream. Finally, he tells us his last dream was of him training on a field with a giant knee brace and a scar. Maybe he can go back. He's gonna play again. He can play again, which maybe is why he was so calm when it happened. Right. It's like, well, I know it's gonna work out. Damn. Also, he's 15. Right. When he told me this, I think my jaw literally dropped on the floor. I made a mandatory family announcement in the following minutes that, hey,

• 39:10Corinne Vien?

when we have a series of dreams that look maybe like premonitions, we should share that with everyone else. We should not keep premonitions to ourselves. This just happened, so honestly, it's so hard for me to still wrap my mind around. I've never had any paranormal experiences to this day, but my dad and my brother are so open to God, to spirits. I think it's just their default, or maybe some sort of patriarchal bloodline thing. In the game where my brother got hurt, my dad said that he remembers seeing my brother start to run and just wishing that he could click pause.

• 39:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 39:42Corinne Vien?

He knew something was going to happen.

• 39:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So sad. Well, that's the hard thing about premonitions is like, even though you have them, doesn't mean you can change what's going to happen.

• 39:51Corinne Vien?

Yeah, that's, I honestly think premonitions are kind of like the worst.

• 39:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

If you could change what's going to happen based on a premonition.

• 39:57Corinne Vien?

  Right.

• 39:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Have at them.

• 39:58Corinne Vien?

And if it's like so specific that you know exactly what's happening, when and what to do.

• 40:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But he plays football, like there are games every week, like you, you don't know.

• 40:06Corinne Vien?

And her dad was just like, something's in September.

• 40:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right. How many games are in September? And it's just amorphous, like something. It doesn't mean it's about the sun.

• 40:14Corinne Vien?

Are you gonna choke on a grape?

• 40:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Trip on your Stanley and stab it up your brain?

• 40:18Corinne Vien?

  Jesus Christ.

• 40:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I think about that a lot.

• 40:21Corinne Vien?

  Really scary.

• 40:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, that's why I only like drink while I'm sedentary.

• 40:25Corinne Vien?

Sitting on his own, sitting on your Stanley.

• 40:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I sit on my Stanley.

• 40:29Corinne Vien?

My nonchalant teenage brother says that he figures it was bound to happen somehow as his premonitions tend to come true. I'm sitting here shocked that premonitions are even something that he has regularly because, oh, he has neglected to share this. Teenagers. Anyway, y'all, make of this what you like. I do think it's cool that my dad and my teenage brother are casually psychic, but for real, when is it my turn?

• 40:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, I'm sorry.

• 40:51Corinne Vien?

Much love from spooky Florida, Sophie.

• 40:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Damn. Like you said, premonitions seem like this blessing and a curse. Like, yes, Sophie, maybe you want to experience this, but also I feel like I would be so stressed having premonitions. Like I'm stressed not having premonitions.

• 41:09Corinne Vien?

Yeah, I have had a couple of premonitions. It is stressful.

• 41:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 41:12Corinne Vien?

Because mine have not been very clear. Mine are like something happens in September. Or like when I was in high school, I was like, somebody dies here on this stretch of road. And then it was 11 months later.

• 41:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Know nothing. Yeah. Also, like, how do you tell the difference between a premonition and an intrusive thought?

• 41:28Corinne Vien?

  Exactly. And as someone who.

• 41:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Has a lot of OCD and intrusive thoughts.

• 41:33Corinne Vien?

Went to therapy at 14 for OCD.

• 41:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 41:36Corinne Vien?

Not just like, oh my gosh, my house is clean, you have OCD. No, I had, say I had, I have OCD. It's one of those weird things where like. I feel like people with OCD, there's like such an awareness where people wanna talk about what OCD is and like spread awareness that way. I cannot talk about my OCD because then it starts to, I start to think about some of the.

• 41:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You start to think about your OCD.

• 41:58Corinne Vien?

And like part of my OCD stuff is like a tactile thing with like my ankles and my hands and like.

• 42:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So you start being more OCD.

• 42:04Corinne Vien?

I can't, I can't think about it. Or I have to do my Darth Vader breaths.

• 42:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I don't hear.

• 42:10Corinne Vien?

Well, it's just like, it's like a yoga breath, like that's what I had to do in therapy like that.

• 42:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hmm.

• 42:16Corinne Vien?

To take my attention away from.

• 42:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 42:18Corinne Vien?

Needing everything to be just right.

• 42:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

All right. I have one from a listener. We've read a lot of stories from Sam and Sam actually DM'd me when I was in Edinburgh because Sam has a lot of experiences from Edinburgh. But Sam is a psychic medium and this story is called what it's like being a psychic medium living in a haunted house. Hi, beautiful souls. I felt pulled to share more experiences of my past with spirits as I've been gifted with the ability to connect with the dead and read energy, AKA psychic medium, in simple terms. This story is geared towards the house I grew up in as a child and a teenager. My parents bought a beautiful two-story house with 20 acres of land in the middle of the country in 1992. And I am forever grateful to have grown up with so much space to explore and connect to earth.

• 43:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But let's get to the good stuff. I didn't have many sleepovers as most of my friends stayed one night and then chose to never return.

• 43:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

One of my friends claimed she was woken up in the middle of the night with a shadow figure peeking through the crack of my bedroom door. Personally, I never witnessed this, but of course I believed her and I'm not joking. She literally never stayed at my place ever again.

• 43:25Corinne Vien?

Oh, that's when you know you're really scared.

• 43:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, this also makes me wonder, similar to the first story I read, like, is there a correlation between becoming a psychic and being in a haunted place?

• 43:35Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 43:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Because this place is clearly haunted for everyone.

• 43:38Corinne Vien?

  Right.

• 43:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But if you live in it, does that, like, some of us, I think, are naturally just born psychics. But can you become a psychic because of the house you live in?

• 43:47Corinne Vien?

And also like maybe it depends on your reaction to it. Cause I feel like some people's reaction to living in a haunted place, they might completely close themselves off.

• 43:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 43:55Corinne Vien?

It's like you become the opposite of psychic.

• 43:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's true.

• 43:57Corinne Vien?

Like la la la la la, tunnel vision.

• 43:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yes.

• 43:59Corinne Vien?

  Closing this out.

• 44:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Sam says, one memory that sticks out like a sore thumb is the old hag that paid a visit to me in the middle of the night, which left me in complete shock. I can't remember the exact age I was at the time, but somewhere around 14 years old, I was sleeping in what felt like a bad dream. I saw this old hag with deep rooted wrinkles, bushy eyebrows, pale skin tone and blackness in her eyes staring straight into my eyes. Her nose was touching my nose. That is how close she was to my face.

• 44:30Corinne Vien?

Oh, my gosh. I feel like you're choosing a lot where it's like

• 44:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  In your face?

• 44:35Corinne Vien?

Face to face. Do you have to come face to face with an entity to be psychic? Is that it? They have to breathe on you and you have to inhale it?

• 44:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

They become a part of you?

• 44:42Corinne Vien?

Yeah. It's like the opposite of a death eater.

• 44:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The breath of the other side that give you access. I was dreaming, so I told myself, wake up now. I opened my eyes, but there she was, nose to nose with me.

• 44:53Corinne Vien?

  Oh, I hate that.

• 44:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This old hag of a woman had crazy white long hair and she had no teeth.

• 44:59Corinne Vien?

I was about to say, this sounds like my great grandmother. And she has no teeth.

• 45:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Could be like your great grandmother.

• 45:05Corinne Vien?

Well, maybe she, I don't know. Did she have dentures at the end?

• 45:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

One thing that I loved, whenever my grandmother used to stay with us growing up, for some reason, she always got my bedroom, which is fine, but I would like still go in and like use my bathroom. And her teeth would always be in a cup of Lestrade next to the sink. Sam says, I couldn't move, I couldn't yell out for help, and I lost all control of my body at this point. One thing I could control, though, was my thoughts. And this woman began to control my body. She began to forcibly push my chin up to show me how she had control of my body. I was so scared, but I knew if I prayed to my nanny Edith, she would make this hellish woman go away.

• 45:43Corinne Vien?

  Her nanny?

• 45:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Like grandmother.

• 45:45Corinne Vien?

  Oh, oh.

• 45:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Nana, nanny.

• 45:49Corinne Vien?

The woman who cared for her child.

• 45:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Nanny Edith.

• 45:52Corinne Vien?

I was like, oh, my God.

• 45:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The best babysitter. Mary Poppins. All of a sudden, this entity disappeared into thin air. I called upon my nanny to make this woman go away, and nanny Edith did just that. This experience left me in complete shock. I had a hard time falling back to sleep for days. What I didn't have as a kid was a mentor to help me protect myself with spirits coming in and out, good or bad. To this day, I am still unaware of who this lady was, where she came from, or what she wanted. But it was the last time I ever felt or saw her, thank goodness. The history of the house I grew up in sort of explains why there were so many dead people around me. My dad shared with me years after I left the family home when I was 17 years old, that a man had died in the house we grew up in. Children were born in that house. It was also a funeral home at one point.

• 46:38Corinne Vien?

  Oh my gosh.

• 46:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

A lot of kitchen parties back in the day. The house was built in the early 1900s, but there is no evidence of the exact date or names of people who lived there.

• 46:47Corinne Vien?

I feel like it lived a lot of lives for just being

• 46:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  1900s?

• 46:49Corinne Vien?

  Like 100 years old.

• 46:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Except my great aunt knew a few things about the house. This is my next story of interacting with a ghost at the age of 11. For whatever reason, I thought it would be a great idea to sleep on the couch just one night. So I got my blankets, my pillows, and I made a cozy nest on the couch. I feel like that's a fun thing to do as a kid, just switch it up. So you can visualize how my living room was set up. There was a couch against the stairwell that led up to our bedrooms. On the opposite side of the couch was the TV. And the TV was shut off and I was laying on the couch, but I felt like I was being watched. I began to feel scared. Of course, my mind said, dummy, why did you decide to sleep on the couch by yourself with mom and dad so far away? And my body became cold and I started to shake. And I looked into the reflection of the TV and noticed that there was a little boy

• 47:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

sitting on the stairs, looking down at me right above my head. I couldn't believe what I was seeing at this point. An actual ghost sitting on my stairs where I needed to run to wake up my parents. This boy looked to be about seven years old with tattered clothing and a short bowl haircut. I could see him so well because there was a light on in the hallway that shined down the stairwell. Something I couldn't understand was that he had bruises or dark spots on his face and arms.

• 47:59Corinne Vien?

  Hmm.

• 47:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Which makes me think of like a weird, like an illness of some kind, like a plague. Even though it's 19, I don't know, 1900s.

• 48:05Corinne Vien?

Or was he a chimney sweep?

• 48:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Or a chimney sweep. It's Mary, back to Mary Poppins.

• 48:09Corinne Vien?

  Back to Mary Poppins.

• 48:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So back to me shitting my pants, not being able to move. What freaked me out the most was looking at the reflection of the TV, clearly seeing this child staring back at me. This was the first time I ever witnessed a ghost, and I became paralyzed. I couldn't blink, I couldn't yell, I couldn't move, or even breathe at the same time. But I could control my thoughts. So yet again, I prayed for my nanny Edith to make it stop. My eyes were shut. I could feel my heart rate slowing down, and I all of a sudden got this feeling that it was safe to open my eyes again. Sure enough, the little boy was gone. Nanny Edith for the win. For years, random things would happen around the house, like our Christmas tree falling down one time as I was waiting for the school bus. Another time, music would turn on by itself, and so many other things. It was a running joke in our house that the little boy liked to mess with us.

• 48:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Fast forward to years after my great aunt and I would go blueberry picking and talk about my grandmother.

• 49:00Corinne Vien?

  I love that.

• 49:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The one that I would pride to a lot is my great aunt's sister, my nanny Edith. So my great aunt and I became really close, and I explained to her one day about seeing the little boy in the house. She said, "I made a promise to your father, I would never tell you these stories."

• 49:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But you told them to me anyway.

• 49:19Corinne Vien?

Yeah, you can't just be like, "Oh, I have no idea what you're talking about." If someone finally brings it up, say, "Okay, well, you already know, so now I can..."

• 49:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yes.

• 49:26Corinne Vien?

"Now I can share with you."

• 49:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Exactly. And what are great aunts for, except for to tell you things that they shouldn't tell you?

• 49:30Corinne Vien?

  Horrifying tales.

• 49:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. She explained that a man had died on the stairwell because he had asthma. I then put it together. I bet that that little boy who was sitting on the stairwell was trying to connect with his dead father by hanging out on the stairs. I also would wake up to jazz music and loud noises and people laughing, thinking it was my parents watching TV, so I'd walk downstairs, ask them to turn the TV down, except nobody was in the living room. This happened a lot, but finally I got used to it. My great aunt explained to me that the best kitchen parties were hosted in that house. I love that kitchen parties.

• 50:05Corinne Vien?

  It's a party house.

• 50:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Overall, the house had good and bad spirits. Unfortunately, over 10 years ago, my childhood home was demolished because the house was not equipped with baseboard heating. It was heated by oil. And one winter, our tank had a tiny crack and the oil leaked into the ground under our home.

• 50:21Corinne Vien?

  Oh, no.

• 50:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Which caused us to have to demolish the house.

• 50:25Corinne Vien?

  Oh, I'm sorry. That stings.

• 50:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We lost everything in our house, except for a couple items. So the ghosts are forever gone, but my memories of the spirits will live on forever. Although I wonder if the ghosts are still there.

• 50:36Corinne Vien?

Right, because it's like, were they attached to the actual structure?

• 50:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 50:40Corinne Vien?

And the way that the house was set up? Or is it the land, the space, just like the memory of the home?

• 50:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Lots of love to you. Take care, Sam.

• 50:48Corinne Vien?

  Dang.

• 50:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow.

• 50:50Corinne Vien?

I love that you have so many witchy psychic people in your life, Sam.

• 50:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And that she's witchy psyche too.

• 50:56Corinne Vien?

  Right.

• 50:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Witchy psyche.

• 50:57Corinne Vien?

Witchy psyche, although I would not want that, like, old hag experience. That is so creepy.

• 51:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's horrifying.

• 51:03Corinne Vien?

To like think that you're asleep and that you're in a dream and you finally wake yourself up and you're just experiencing the exact same thing.

• 51:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Nose to nose with a toothless, long-haired gremlin lady.

• 51:12Corinne Vien?

Who's literally grabbing your head and being like, see?

• 51:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And that act is so.

• 51:18Corinne Vien?

It does kind of feel like Death Eater too, where it's just like sucking the breath out of you.

• 51:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Also for me, like, the neck is like the most vulnerable place.

• 51:27Corinne Vien?

So I think for like a lot of humans.

• 51:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right, like, I just feel.

• 51:30Corinne Vien?

Because I always think if someone attacks me, I am going to bite into their.

• 51:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, artery.

• 51:34Corinne Vien?

  Goodbye. Sorry, that was.

• 51:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We both just, we both just thought about that too hard.

• 51:39Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 51:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?
