  Hi.

• 2:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hey.

• 2:10Corinne Vien?

This is Two Girls One Ghost.

• 2:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Two girls, one ghost. We are your ghostesses. That is Corinne.

• 2:16Corinne Vien?

  Hello.

• 2:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I am Sabrina and this is an encounters episode where we read your emails, your spooky, ghostly encounters. Back to you. And today is, well, if you're listening when this episode comes out, it's right before 4th of July. It's officially summer. A lot of people are going on vacation. Make it plans. You're traveling, going to hotels, maybe you're camping. And maybe we really wanted to do some more outdoorsy stories. And so we themed this travel, vacation, ghost stories from traveling, trips, chips, trips, trips.

• 2:52Corinne Vien?

  Good. Yes. Right.

• 2:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I am not tripping right now.

• 2:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That actually would be a good theme.

• 2:59Corinne Vien?

Tripping balls, ayahuasca. Oh, oh, I like that.

• 3:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You putting it in there?

• 3:03Corinne Vien?

  Yep.

• 3:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So send us your encounters. If you've ever tripped and experienced the paranormal, we'll do a trippy ghost encounter episode. But until then, we have ghost stories about traveling. And I really want to start because, so we did a encounters about camping and hiking a couple of weeks ago. And like we said, we had so many encounters from that. And I know 4th of July weekend, people are out at the trails, they're camping, they're grilling some sausages over the fire pit. And I found a way to weasel one of those stories into this episode.

• 3:39Corinne Vien?

  Okay, amazing.

• 3:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And it's quite terrifying.

• 3:41Corinne Vien?

  Starting off strong.

• 3:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

This is from our listener, Zaya. And I think that's how you say your name. Z A Y A. It's a beautiful name. Indescribable creature cryptid story.

• 3:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hello boo babes.

• 3:53Corinne Vien?

  Hello.

• 3:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm a new listener, but I'm so happy to have found you. I feel like I found my tribe here. People my age, maybe, who are fresh and funny and female and spooky. Ugh, and you make me feel so at home. Anyway, on with the story. Oh, my gosh, Zaya goes, and it's like a two to three minute read. I love that you timed it. My story began on a basic camping trip in New Mexico. It was at a place that I had been to about three times a year for many years. So I was very familiar with it and I've been many times since this story happened.

• 4:23Corinne Vien?

  Wow, okay.

• 4:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I would like to preface with the fact that I grew up in the mountains and I'm extremely familiar with all of the wildlife in this area. There really aren't that many large animals. You have your moose, your elk, your mountain lions, et cetera. But all of those animals are fucking obvious. Like you see them and you know what they are. This thing that I saw in no way could be an animal that exists. So my boyfriend at the time and I arrived at our campsite along the river around 5:00 PM. We set up camp with my dog and we couldn't see or hear any other campers. The sites are all really far away from each other and it was pretty empty. We had just eaten dinner and we each opened a beer, only one beer. We're not on drugs. We were not drunk or anything, but I do want to mention the beer for complete clarity and honesty. We were sitting around the fire, just enjoying being out there.

• 5:09Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The person I was with was facing the river behind me while I was facing the road behind him. The fire was between us. My very alert and protective dog was lying on the ground next to us. She is a big, strong, tough girl. Suddenly, I look across the fire and I see my boyfriend at the time's eyes go wide. But then I see something moving behind him that took my attention away from his shock. At first I thought, maybe it's my dog. But no, she's still lying on the ground and I could see her in my peripheral. The movement behind my then boyfriend became more apparent and I watched as something ran out of the trees into the light of the fire. It stopped right in the middle of the road, directly illuminated by the firelight. And it looked me right in the eyes.

• 5:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It stood on all fours and was almost as tall as my Jeep. On all fours.

• 6:01Corinne Vien?

  What the fuck?

• 6:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It had long, thin legs that ended in more hooves than feet. Its skin was like gray or white. It had no hair and it had a tiny head for its size body. It was completely rounded on the top with huge black holes for eyes. I could see each of its ribs in such detail. I couldn't move. You know, fight or flight? Well, no one really mentions freezing in place. I was paralyzed and couldn't move for my life, even if it depended on it, which it might have. It stared at me for a moment, then ran off in a circular path around us. I could not speak, I could not move, I was frozen. What felt like a few minutes later, I looked at my boyfriend and he looked at me. At the same time, we both said, it's time to go to bed.

• 6:47Corinne Vien?

Not, not to leave? It's time to go to bed?

• 6:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I mean, they had had a drink?

• 6:52Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, one drink.

• 6:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We yelled for our dog and silently ran to our tent. I don't think either of us slept that night. We just watched a movie that he had downloaded on his phone like eight times to have sound and distraction for the night. The next day, I went to look for tracks and just saw weird little circles in the ground, but nothing out of the ordinary besides that. Neither my boyfriend nor I said a word about this for the next few days while we stayed there. Then our friends joined us the next day and we also did not tell them anything about it. We just moved on because we had to. As soon as we left the site, we were twenty minutes away from the site and we both looked at each other and said, we have to talk about it. Turns out, when I had first seen him in shock, he had seen a huge glowing ball of light floating above the water and lighting up its surroundings behind me.

• 7:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

As he saw that, I then saw the creature behind him.

• 7:41Corinne Vien?

Oh, so he didn't see the creature?

• 7:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

He saw this light. These things apparently moved in unison and came at the same moment. And we watched them circle us. I took that as a lesson that if you see something scary in front of you, maybe turn around because there might be something scary behind you as well. Be aware of your surroundings. I was a back and forth believer before this encounter, thinking, oh, my experiences could totally be explained away or misremembered or whatever. But no, my boyfriend at the time and I were 100% certain of what we saw. And now we are both 100% believers. And I have been back to that site tons of times to try and investigate it. And I have never seen anything like it again. I've dedicated so much of my free time trying to figure out what I saw. And I would love to have some input from you. I drew a picture of it immediately after returning home that day.

• 8:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I attached it below for you to see. P S. I love your podcast. I think you're amazing people and I'm glad you're around to support the spooky community with laughter and curiosity. Love, Zaya. And you can see the picture.

• 8:39Corinne Vien?

Okay, the picture so looks like a flesh pedestrian. But what is making me have pause there is that the hooves and just the sheer size of it, the glowing ball of light, like, is this an alien?

• 8:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It does have alien-esque attributes. But then it also makes me think of, what's that? There is one entity, not the one in San Francisco. There was one that was like caught on camera. And it kind of looks like this.

• 9:05Corinne Vien?

  Caught on camera?

• 9:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I think so. I don't, I don't know what this is, but I feel like flesh pedestrians almost look more human, don't they?

• 9:13Corinne Vien?

Well, I'm specifically looking, thinking about like the classic photo like this.

• 9:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Oh, yeah, that's what I'm picturing.

• 9:21Corinne Vien?

Which I think like when you Google this creature, like that's the one that comes up of like the, oh, someone had like a hunting cam or something like a wildlife cam out and captured this beast, this creature.

• 9:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But then also the fact that it came with this light.

• 9:36Corinne Vien?

  I know.

• 9:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And they moved, it's almost like the fact that they didn't exist at the same, like they existed at the same time, but they didn't exist in the same frame. That both of them were seen independently and moved in tandem.

• 9:50Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 9:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I don't understand that.

• 9:52Corinne Vien?

And it made eye contact too. So it was, it was very conscious of them.

• 9:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But it ran away, so it doesn't feel like it appeared there to do something malevolent, but that when it made eye contact, the Zaya, it was like, uh oh, I gotta get out of here. Like it was almost startled too.

• 10:10Corinne Vien?

Yeah. And also like the sheer size of it, I feel like there's, if it wanted to do harm, it easily could have. It was so close to you and the fact that it's on all four legs taller than your car. This thing is mad. This is like the size of a moose.

• 10:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 10:29Corinne Vien?

It's one of those things where I'm like, what would happen if we were there? Like, what, what if we saw that? What if we're sitting in a campground and we see this? As paranormal enthusiasts, I think I would.

• 10:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We do the same thing that I did. You freeze.

• 10:40Corinne Vien?

  Absolutely freeze and complete terror.

• 10:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 10:43Corinne Vien?

The reality is when you encounter a different creature, a cryptid, or even a spirit, you have no idea what it's or they are intending to do. It's not just, oh, my God, cool, an alien. It's like,

• 10:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  No.

• 10:55Corinne Vien?

  Am I in danger?

• 10:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And if I saw that, I would absolutely think I'm in danger.

• 10:58Corinne Vien?

Yeah. And it's also, I feel like the human instinct in us that comes with identified threats in normal wildlife gets so confused when we encounter something like this where it's like.

• 11:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Cause you can't rationalize it. Your brain is like, what am I? I can't.

• 11:12Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 11:12Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Can't comprehend.

• 11:13Corinne Vien?

Am I in danger? Am I not? I feel like I'd blackout because my body would be like, let's not remember this.

• 11:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, I blackout a lot. All right. So if anyone's seen anything like this, let us know so we can let Zaya know.

• 11:24Corinne Vien?

  My lord. Okay.

• 11:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Who is your lord? Farquad?

• 11:30Corinne Vien?

Yes. No, I, I reject his beliefs, Lord Farquad.

• 11:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, anyone who tortures little gingerbread cookies. Yeah.

• 11:38Corinne Vien?

Yeah, not the gumdrop buttons, man. Too far. This is called beach Airbnb haunting.

• 11:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Okay.

• 11:44Corinne Vien?

Good morning. I'm a new listener. Whoop, almost dropped my computer. I'm on episode five. I'm loving the podcast already. There have been only a handful of times that anything scary has happened to me, mostly when I was a baby and some other times when my sister was a toddler and she would see things.

• 11:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Creepy kids.

• 11:59Corinne Vien?

Creepy kids. However, I've never experienced anything like this story that I'm about to share. This story involves my boyfriend's family and myself. For background, my boyfriend and I have been together for four years and every year his family and I go on a summer vacation. My boyfriend has three brothers, two of them are younger and one is older. Then there is me and the older brother's wife. This particular vacation happened around two years ago. We went to a beach down in Texas where we rented an Airbnb. It was a cute little house. I wonder.

• 12:29Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I'm curious.

• 12:30Corinne Vien?

It was a cute little house that did not have any spooky vibes. In the back of this house was a tiny chapel on a hill that comes with the house.

• 12:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's sick.

• 12:40Corinne Vien?

The layout of this house is when you walk in the front door that is located on the side of the house, you enter a small kitchen and right next to the kitchen on the left are two bedrooms. In the front of the kitchen is the living room and to the right of the kitchen is a room full of bunk beds that had been added on to the original house. Our first day there, everything went completely normally. We unpacked, we went to the beach and we ate dinner. The next day, after we came back from hanging out at the beach, I decided I should go take a nap. So I went back to the bunk bedroom.

• 13:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

There is nothing better than napping post beach.

• 13:12Corinne Vien?

Oh, my God, it's so, you have to shower first.

• 13:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 13:15Corinne Vien?

And then that's like the best.

• 13:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Warm, yeah.

• 13:18Corinne Vien?

About thirty minutes after falling asleep, my boyfriend's youngest brother came and woke me up, saying the family heard some loud tapping coming from the ceiling of the bathroom. At first, I laughed it off as I was convinced that this was just the house settling and these were the noises. But the tapping would not stop. We listened for what felt like hours and even tried tapping back on the roof to see if this thing would respond. And it did multiple times.

• 13:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I would immediately jump to someone's like living in the walls.

• 13:46Corinne Vien?

  Right, same.

• 13:47Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 13:47Corinne Vien?

Later at dinner, we all sat around the table trying to decide a logical reason for what we were hearing. We assumed maybe this is an animal. It was then that my boyfriend's other little brother, who had slept in the living room the night before, had a pale ghostly look on his face. He then shared that the previous night, he was asleep and woke up in the middle of the night, glanced over to the restroom and saw a figure of a little girl in a dress. She was transparent and walked right into the wall. But being half asleep, he thought nothing of it. Him saying this sparked my boyfriend's sister-in-law to remember that she and her husband had heard footsteps outside of the door to their bedroom. And they said it didn't sound like it would have been any of us walking back and forth in front of their door.

• 14:31Corinne Vien?

Nobody admitted to using the bathroom in the middle of the night, so it was a little weird, but we brushed all of this off. This is a lot of experience.

• 14:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, it's also because they're all like such small instances that you could write them off if you experienced just your thing. But then, once everyone starts to share their experience, it's like, oh shit, we all.

• 14:51Corinne Vien?

Yeah, and clearly the tapping was scary enough for them to go wake her up from her nap.

• 14:56Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Right, and because it's so incessant, like it won't stop.

• 14:59Corinne Vien?

Yeah, after dinner, we once again heard tapping, but this time it sounded as if someone was running across the attic and dragging furniture around. It was a relatively small attic and we were all freaking out at this point and soon worked up the courage to take a peek inside of this attic.

• 15:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Would you do that?

• 15:17Corinne Vien?

Hell no. Well, not my physical head.

• 15:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Right.

• 15:21Corinne Vien?

But it probably like cellphone recording video on a stick.

• 15:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 15:24Corinne Vien?

When we did look inside, there was absolutely nothing, no boxes, no animals, no furniture. We were terrified, but we still had two more nights to go here. When we went to sleep that night in the bunk room, it was me, my boyfriend, my boyfriend's two youngest brothers. And around midnight or 1 a.m., I can't really remember, we were all still awake when the youngest brother and I noticed what looked like somebody peeking into our room from the blinds that were next to the bedroom door. We kept staring at the blinds and it would not stop. Eventually, we do all fall asleep and the next day we keep hearing those same noises.

• 16:04Corinne Vien?

That night, my boyfriend's oldest brother and his wife decided that they did not want to sleep in their room anymore because they kept hearing loud footsteps. And they felt really uneasy all throughout the night, so they joined the rest of us in the bunk room. We told them about the blinds incident and they jokingly said that they didn't want anyone watching them sleep. So they took a towel to cover the bedroom door's window. The weird thing about this room is that the light switch is located on the outside of the door in the kitchen.

• 16:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hmm.

• 16:30Corinne Vien?

As we were all hanging out, we noticed at the foot of the door through the large gap between the door and the floor seemed to be a shadow that looked like someone maybe was standing right in front of the door, trying to look inside. Scared, we decided it was definitely time to go to bed, so my boyfriend's older brother opened the door only enough to stick his hand out and feel for the light switch. When he did this, he said he felt something cold brush against his hand. And when he took a peek, he saw a translucent white mist floating. He quickly shut the door, his face turned extremely pale. He looked like he was gonna throw up. It's safe to say we all slept with the lights on that night.

• 17:11Corinne Vien?

Before we left to go back home the next day, we decided we should do a little bit of research on this house. We learned that the house was built between nineteen thirty seven and nineteen thirty eight by a woman named Aline Carter, A-L-I-N-E. She was called the White Angel because of her flowing white dresses and her love for serving her community. We still are not sure exactly what happened that weekend as the attic was completely empty and it was far too loud to be house settling noise.

• 17:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 17:42Corinne Vien?

Would love to hear your thoughts on the story, Cheyenne.

• 17:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wow, Cheyenne, I mean, it almost makes me think there are multiple spirits because the attic one feels so different from whatever's peeking in. The one peeking in just seems like it's curious and wants to be included. Maybe feels left out, like you're all sleeping in the same room now, like I would, I'd be like, what about me? But then

• 18:07Corinne Vien?

But it just, it's like, it keeps peeking on everyone. I don't even think it's about feeling left out, I think it's just

• 18:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Curious?

• 18:15Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 18:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But it feels, doesn't it feel different than the attic?

• 18:18Corinne Vien?

And the boot, the boot steps, like the, the like heavy steps going back and forth in front of the oldest brother in his wife's room.

• 18:27Corinne Vien?

  That's creepy.

• 18:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You'll have to let us know where in Texas, because now I'm thinking if it is Galveston, like

• 18:32Corinne Vien?

Well, let me look up the woman's name.

• 18:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 18:35Corinne Vien?

  Aline Carter.

• 18:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

In Texas. Because if it is Galveston, like the amount of people who died there, and there are so many hauntings and possibilities.

• 18:45Corinne Vien?

  San Antonio, Texas.

• 18:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, San Antonio is also very haunted.

• 18:50Corinne Vien?

Wait, is this the right one? Okay, they might have had multiple houses, because this one looks more like it's a historical museum and not one for rentals. There's definitely no bunk room. And there's a big plaque outside, so that's not right.

• 19:03Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And it has a cathedral or chapel on property?

• 19:06Corinne Vien?

  Oh, she was a poet.

• 19:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I like her.

• 19:10Corinne Vien?

There's so many links about like different dates, different mansions and homes. She must have had multiple.

• 19:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, Cheyenne, you'll have to tell us more. But sorry if we don't have answers for you because this is not an answers podcast. This is a ghost podcast. Uh, I have one.

• 19:25Corinne Vien?

  Wait, I found it.

• 19:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, where's it?

• 19:27Corinne Vien?

It's called Chapel in the Dunes in Old Town Port Aransas, built for author astronomer, artist and poet, Aline Carter.

• 19:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  She's everything.

• 19:38Corinne Vien?

She's everything. She would share her knowledge with local children and held cake and ice cream socials after Sunday school each week in the chapel. Built at one of the highest points in Port Aransas and overlooking the ocean, the outside of the chapel is striking enough on its own. But in 1972, artist John Patrick Cobb painted a whitewashed interior.

• 19:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Can we add pictures?

• 20:00Corinne Vien?

Yes. You can stay at the chapel cottage. It's part of the chapel on the dunes property available for rentals. The cottage sleeps eight. The family is also in the midst of renovations on this house.

• 20:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, great.

• 20:12Corinne Vien?

And the chapel quarters, both of which will be available for rent upon completion.

• 20:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Should I send them like an Airbnb message and be like, hey, so can you tell us about the ghosts in your house?

• 20:21Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, chapel in the dunes.

• 20:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Are you messaging them?

• 20:25Corinne Vien?

I'm trying to look at like if it's avail. Okay. Oh, there's a whole website, guys. Chapel on the dunes.org.

• 20:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I love this.

• 20:33Corinne Vien?

It's very haunted. I wonder if they're gonna be mad about us talking about it being haunted.

• 20:37Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, it's not our fault. Like, if it's haunted, it's haunted.

• 20:41Corinne Vien?

Aline Carter opened pathways to higher thought for all who knew her.

• 20:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Why do I feel like she knew some like gateway tapes?

• 20:49Corinne Vien?

Right? I feel like that too.

Speaking of Gateway Tapes, hey, thanks Sabrina for bringing that up.

• 22:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We just covered on our Patreon bonus episode a ton of stories of people who have tried the Gateway Tapes. I talk about my own experience trying the Gateway Tapes.

• 22:55Corinne Vien?

It's so good. Like, I had chills throughout that entire episode. It was wild. It's such a good one. So if you're not already a Patreon member, we do exclusive Patreon-only bonus episodes once a month. So it's a full-length episode, and that is exactly what we did for the Gateway Tapes.

• 23:10Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So we wanted to give you a little teaser of the episode. It's about six and a half minutes. We hope you enjoy it.

• 23:17Corinne Vien?

And head over to Patreon to check out the rest of the episode. Gateway tapes.

• 23:21Sabrina Deana-Roga?

So when I did the research for Gateway tapes, I found the Reddit threads, which there are so many. And also, listeners have emailed us their personal encounters with the Gateway tapes. And in preparation for this episode, last night, I listened to tape one.

• 23:37Corinne Vien?

You texted me this and you were like, I'm gonna text you after to make sure, for like you to know, check in wise that I'm okay.

• 23:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No, I totally had an experience while listening to the tape. And then after that, I went to bed because I didn't sleep the night before. Okay, so I'm gonna briefly talk about my experience with the first tape. And then I'll keep updating people throughout because I'm gonna do a tape a day now. Because

• 24:01Corinne Vien?

  Good.

• 24:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm like, I may as well see this thing through.

• 24:04Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 24:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It works. And my biggest takeaway is it kind of reminds me of EMDR. So there's a whole thread called Meeting Deceased Loved Ones, Why Can't They Return? And this one was posted from Steel Bandicoot. They wrote, I was in Focus 12 and wanted to talk to my dad who passed a year ago. The image of a baby appeared and the impression of the message I was communicated was, he can't talk right now. He's just been restarted.

• 24:34Corinne Vien?

  Oh, my fucking god.

• 24:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

No way a message came up.

• 24:37Corinne Vien?

Honestly, I'm so glad that that was the experience. That's kind of hilarious and it's just confusing enough to be like, almost not overly emotional about it.

• 24:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm also so curious, like, if a baby was recently born around

• 24:50Corinne Vien?

  Yeah, in their family.

• 24:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Around them. I don't know.

• 24:53Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 24:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Okay, and then this is another one. The username was deleted, so I don't know. But they wrote, I've seen my old boss who died of a heart attack in front of a restaurant, and I've spoken to my daughter who had passed away when she was two. But in my vision, she was older, like a young girl, and looked remarkably like my grandmother when she was a girl. I was in Focus 21 each time I had these experiences. My first encounter with my daughter, all I could hear was her voice saying, I love you daddy. I'm so proud of you. Keep going. I cried for fucking hours after that one and spent the next couple of weeks feeling like I'd lost my mind.

• 25:24Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 25:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

The second encounter where she appeared, she asked, you know, don't you daddy? I said, no. Know what, baby? She responded, that we never, ever die. I said, yes, love, I know that now. And then she responded, then you need to start living like you're never going to die. I don't even know what that means, but okay, baby, I'll do my best. And she faded away. The third encounter, she said nothing. She just took my face in her hands and gently kissed me, smiled and faded away. That day, the overwhelming sense of loss that I had carried for years since she died was truly lifted from me.

• 25:54Corinne Vien?

My gosh. This is a post from Reddit from five months ago. Veta. V E T A. Ta-da. I've been frequently revisiting advanced focus ten and intro to focus ten before moving on so I can fully master them. But this morning I encountered something. Recently, I've been having trouble fully relaxing my facial muscles. But today it was extremely easy to enter this focus ten. As I was in this focus, I was listening to the frequencies. I began to see what looked like outlines of multiple tall people standing above me and moving around that radiated with uncertainty. Like even they weren't sure that they were there either.

• 26:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 26:34Corinne Vien?

And it was hard to tell if they were here to observe or if they wanted to harm me. After a little while of seeing these silhouettes, they all combined into one white orb of light that radiated with a pitch black glow. I began to question what it was. At first it was a question to myself and then suddenly my depth perception was immediately sharpened. And it felt like there was another face only inches away from mine. And it was like this energy pushed itself through the closed eyes to show me what it was. And this entity had turned itself into a face of indiscernible features, like if someone had tried to push their face through a sheet. A chill ran down my back and I had goosebumps all over my body. My eyes would not stop twitching at this incredible speed while I was in the presence of this.

• 27:19Corinne Vien?

And I wanted to know more, so I persisted in the F10 state. But the longer I was there, the more it felt like this energy wanted inside of my reball, which pertaining to the gateway tapes, the reball creates a sense of energetic containment and support around the body.

• 27:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's like your energy force.

• 27:35Corinne Vien?

Yeah, it's supposed to be your like safe, comfortable space here.

• 27:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 27:38Corinne Vien?

Probably like, I'm comparing it to an aura, but that's probably not right.

• 27:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Your personal space.

• 27:43Corinne Vien?

Yeah, your personal space. The longer I stayed with this being and energy, it felt like it was taking me further down into my focus state. My body felt warm and tingly at first, and then my body started to feel like I was departing from it. I was just incredibly uncertain of what the entity's intentions were, which did put me on edge.

• 28:00Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 28:00Corinne Vien?

And I have drawings, which we'll include.

• 28:02Sabrina Deana-Roga?

These drawings are so interesting. It almost makes me think of like an alien abduction.

• 28:06Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 28:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

We don't even need to be high to have these types of conversations.

• 28:10Corinne Vien?

  No, it's so trippy.

• 28:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I genuinely, and I say this in a very serious way, because I think in the past I've joked about it, but like, you are my sister. You're not just my friend.

• 28:20Corinne Vien?

Well, I get to experience what being a s- like, I don't know.

• 28:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  You feel like my sister.

• 28:23Corinne Vien?

I mean, my relationship with you is different than my relationship with anyone else.

• 28:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That's what I mean. Well, now I'm gonna get emotional. Like, you're, I think you're beyond any friend I've ever had in like, any lifetime too. And I feel that, like, deep in my soul.

• 28:34Corinne Vien?

  I love you.

• 28:37Corinne Vien?

I actually, sorry. Can I say one more thing?

• 28:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, of course.

• 28:40Corinne Vien?

Sometimes when I'm having, now I'm gonna cry.

• 28:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 28:45Corinne Vien?

Sometimes when I'm having a really hard time with Noah.

• 28:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You say, at least I'm not Sabrina?

• 28:50Corinne Vien?

No, I think of you as a child. And I'm like, well, like, let me make sure I can do everything I can to make this person feel like very emotionally, like, safe. And so I think of you when I'm trying to make myself, like, be completely available to Noah.

• 29:11Corinne Vien?

But I don't know if that's a weird thing to say.

• 29:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That is the nicest thing anyone's ever said.

• 29:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Corinne, that's beautiful. Can I hug you?

• 29:22Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 29:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wait, fun. Well, I have an email from a listener called Email From The Bar Of A Haunted Hotel. It is from Aubrey. Hello, ladies, Madame, Leia, and Ghost. I've emailed once before about visitations via dreams, but I have so many other experiences, and I want to share this one now. I live in El Paso, Texas, home to the infamous El Paso High School, which I think we covered a while back.

• 29:51Corinne Vien?

We definitely did. I remember that.

• 29:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But I am at this very moment, currently sitting at the Paso del Norte Hotel. Oh, it has a long history in the city and many ghost stories attached to it. My sister, my best friend, and a couple other close friends came to a ghost tour downtown last year, and this hotel bar was a stop and content warning this story does involve suicide. So we were told that the story goes that a jilted bride died by suicide, jumping off the balcony of the 10th floor. That is where the bar is located, the 10th floor. There are these beautiful balconies off of each end of the bar, and they have tables and chairs and beautiful views of the city. So we came out here for my best friend's birthday and started at the bar across the street. Everything was fine, but then the next stop, we came to the hotel bar.

• 30:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And after a couple of drinks, we decided to go sit outside on one of the balconies to get some air, take some pretty photos. I got a photo of one of the oldest streets in our downtown, and I turned around to look at the hotel behind me. One room window just seemed so out of place, pitch dark. The curtain was open.

• 30:53Corinne Vien?

  Hmm.

• 30:53Sabrina Deana-Roga?

As soon as I looked up, I got this overwhelming feeling, and I'm not sure what it was, but it made me feel uneasy. My best friend, who is very sensitive and has always communicated with spirits, saw that something was wrong with me and asked, what's up? It looked like my face had drained of everything, emotion, color. She said it felt like I was gone. So I told her that one dark window is really freaking me out. She looked up and asked, you can see her? Stop! Completely confused, I said, what? No, I just see darkness, but I'm feeling really uneasy. I started crying, uncomfortable, but I'm laughing at the same time because I'm also really confused by what I was feeling. These weren't my feelings, but I was pouring out tears,

• 31:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

and I just felt heartbroken and like my chest was heavy. My friend was just as surprised as me because we've had many shared encounters with spirits in different ways and at the same time. She said she couldn't believe it affected me so much that I was crying. We were in a beautiful bar with a DJ, happiness all around us, but I couldn't keep it together. I literally had to excuse myself and go to the bathroom just to compose myself. She came with me and I asked her what she saw. And she said, "A woman, a very, very sad woman who was completely heartbroken and felt hopeless." That she was watching us from the window. And that when I pointed to the window and she looked up at it, she saw the spirit. She thought that I had too. I'm glad I didn't because who knows how I would have reacted if I actually saw her.

• 32:20Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Would I have even known that she was a spirit? Either way, it was an experience. I'm crying as I write this because just even thinking about the moment brings back all of those feelings. A lot of times I can feel or hear spirits around me. And my seven-year-old daughter has told me she sees ghosts as well. There was a male spirit in our apartment that she could see, who she said would watch her sleep.

• 32:40Corinne Vien?

  Oh, great.

• 32:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It scared her and she asked me to tell him to leave, so I did. And it doesn't seem like there have been any other issues for her. And she completely stopped mentioning him. One day I was at work, I went to the restroom and every time I would walk in, I would look across under all of the stalls to see which one was available. This time it was a quieter day in the office and there wasn't anyone in the bathroom. So I made my way to the last stall. But as I walked, every toilet I passed flushed.

• 33:06Corinne Vien?

  That's weird.

• 33:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

They are motion censored and all of the doors were closed. So I thought, okay, that's weird, but maybe I just missed someone in here.

• 33:14Corinne Vien?

Yeah, well, all of them like boom, boom, boop, like that.

• 33:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's like automatic lights turning on when you walk, yeah. But then as I was going to the bathroom, the toilet I was using flushed. I kept my cool and thought, well, all the other ones flushed, I guess this one's just taken its turn. Ha ha. But no, I finished up, I went to wash my hand and I hear two more flushes. I booked it out of there and went straight back to my friend's desk and she gave me a weird look as I walked up. I was like, something crazy is going on in the bathroom. All of the toilets were flushing and nobody was in there but me. She just calmly said, "Yeah, well, the ghost from your house is here with you. He was walking with you all the way to my desk."

• 33:49Corinne Vien?

  What in the world?

• 33:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I looked at her and I was like, "Please tell me you're joking." She was dead serious. So we talked to our ghost, like two crazies in the middle of a quad of cubicles. And she told him, "You need to leave Aubrey alone. You're scaring her daughter and you can't go home with her. You could stay with me instead and come home with me, but leave Aubrey and her daughter alone."

• 34:07Corinne Vien?

That just made me like slightly sad for our ghost to experience rejection.

• 34:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I know. And also like, what's his story? He doesn't mean to.

• 34:15Corinne Vien?

  Right.

• 34:15Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But he never followed me home again. He went home with my friend. And she felt home the whole next day while working from home. Then that evening, she went to her cousin's house, which has always been very spiritually active. And he followed her there. She felt him the whole time. Apparently, the front door kept opening and closing on its own, and it completely freaked out their friend, who had never been to the house. But when my friend went home, the spirit didn't follow her. He stayed at her cousin's house with other spirits that had been there for well over thirty years.

• 34:44Corinne Vien?

  Oh, he has friends?

• 34:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah, now he has friends.

• 34:46Corinne Vien?

Oh, I'm happy for him. This is a nice ending for this spirit.

• 34:50Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And apparently, her cousin, who has lived in this house for a very long time, has never been able to sleep peacefully, until that night. Ever since then, she's been sleeping like a baby. So maybe those ghosts were lonely too, and two lonely ghosts, they met each other, and then all the spirit activity like quieted down, because everyone's at peace.

• 35:08Corinne Vien?

I wonder if they all knew each other, and he was like the one spirit who kept following other people, waiting for the time that he gets to

• 35:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Reconnect.

• 35:17Corinne Vien?

reconnect with his family that were all waiting with, like, for him somewhere, and this was it.

• 35:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I don't know, but I love this.

• 35:23Corinne Vien?

  Peace, harmony, boom.

• 35:24Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I'm picturing a ghostly love story. Anyway, it's wild, but this ghost is no longer bothering myself or my daughter, and that's what matters. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope your ladies are doing fabulously. Can't wait to catch up on your podcast and hear what's going on present day, besides what you post on Instagram. See you on the other side, Aubrey.

• 35:42Corinne Vien?

  Wow. I like this.

• 35:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I know, I like that one too.

• 35:47Corinne Vien?

I like that there's a happy ending. You know, the person who absorbed him as a house spirit.

• 35:51Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 35:52Corinne Vien?

Sleeps soundly. Although, like, does, does she even think the house is haunted anymore? Like, I do wonder if this completed whatever, like, journey all of the spirits had, and they all moved on together.

• 36:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't know, but I like that this ghost traveled. Like, this was a story about a haunted bar, hotel bar, so if you ever go visit. But the ghost went on a trip too.

• 36:12Corinne Vien?

Yeah, and it sounds like he got to leave the bar and find a happy home.

• 36:17Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't think he came from the bar, but.

• 36:19Corinne Vien?

  Oh.

• 36:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Got to leave Aubrey's house?

• 36:21Corinne Vien?

Got to leave Aubrey's house, however he found her.

• 36:23Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And find a happy home, yeah. Yeah.

• 36:26Corinne Vien?

Thing, like the first part about the bar and like looking up and seeing the window and everything, it did remind me of, was it Servantes? Ballroom or bar.

• 36:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That was like in Denver.

• 36:36Corinne Vien?

Yeah, wasn't it that one where, because we went to the second floor and it was all boarded up. And I swear they said that they see sometimes out of one of the windows that's boarded up, they'll see a woman looking out who had worked there when it was a brothel. And it reminded me of that.

• 36:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, there's also just so many stories of hotels where a jilted lover or, you know, a really sad story where a woman died by suicide.

• 37:01Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 37:01Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And that sadness is so heavy and emanates throughout the hotel.

• 38:08Corinne Vien?

Good segue. I have an email called Hotel Ghost Watching Me Sleep.

• 38:13Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, okay, great.

• 38:14Corinne Vien?

  Uh, hey, beautiful spooky witches.

• 38:16Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, thank you.

• 38:17Corinne Vien?

Thanks. My name is Jayden and you can definitely use my name if you ever read this story. I've sent you a couple of emails before, but for some reason I didn't think to send you this one. But you're in luck because this is a story that makes me think a bald male ghost is watching me sleep.

• 38:33Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 38:33Corinne Vien?

I'm originally from Wisconsin and I've been traveling a bit for work. So I flew into St. Louis, Missouri for a two day training and I stayed in a hotel called the Sheraton Westport Chalet Hotel.

• 38:44Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I feel like so many haunted hotels are now owned by Sheraton.

• 38:47Corinne Vien?

Right? I know. Also, here's my pitch to change the name of that, because that's

• 38:52Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It doesn't flow. Yeah. Just call it the new haunted hotel.

• 38:56Corinne Vien?

  Or haunted chalet.

• 38:58Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh, oh. Sounds very Switzerland.

• 39:01Corinne Vien?

It does. This hotel has a nice check-in area and overall it was a fine stay. I get to the hotel, I check in at the beautiful lobby. I'm told my room is on the second floor. I take the elevator down to the second floor. I think, nothing of the fact that I was standing on the ground level of the lobby, but had to go down to the second floor. What in the parallel universe slash upside down type shit is this? So I get in the elevator, I push the down arrow and right when it opens, I immediately thought, whoa, spooky.

• 39:28Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Hit with the heaviness.

• 39:30Corinne Vien?

Yeah. The creepy kid in me was nervously excited. I just stood there still in the elevator and kept feeling the need to constantly look around the elevator as if there was something energetically different. Hopping out of the elevator, my eyes go wide at the creepy, never-ending, narrow hallway. And when I say creepy, I want you to think the hallway from The Shining, but long enough that I couldn't even see the end of it. And guess what? My room was at the very end. Great, I thought. Put me at the very end of this creepy as fuck hotel. All right. After struggling to get my luggage down the gigantic hallway, I'm finally to my room. It was a nice room, two beds, a desk, rolling office chair, and a cushy armchair in the corner by the window facing the TV. I do admit, I am always

• 40:15Corinne Vien?

a little skeptical of armchairs in bedrooms. I feel like maybe there's something always wanting to sit in the chair observing me. However, I didn't get that ominous feeling about this chair or this room. I even took the bed that was right next to the armchair because it was the farthest from the door. So I do my normal routine when I get into the new space. I open a window, I introduce myself to the room, I set intentions, a sage using my homemade sage spray.

• 40:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wow, you do this every time?

• 40:41Corinne Vien?

Yeah, this is your prepared jam.

• 40:42Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow, I love it.

• 40:43Corinne Vien?

It was a long day of travel and work, so I simply created some social media content for my small business. I run a wellness company called Jade Euphoria Wellness to offer women body image and food freedom coaching.

• 40:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I love it.

• 40:56Corinne Vien?

I showered, I ordered room service, and I was getting ready to go to sleep. Getting ready for bed on night one, I had to plug into an outlet and the only outlet that would work for this plug was behind the armchair in the corner. Though I didn't feel anything negative, I somehow caught myself right when I approached the chair and reached for the outlet saying, "Just gotta plug this in," as if I subconsciously felt the need to do a polite Midwest, "Oh, just gotta scooch past ya," type thing to the armchair.

• 41:26Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wow.

• 41:26Corinne Vien?

It was not long before I was peacefully dozing off on the first night when I suddenly awoke to what sounded like footsteps and movement uncomfortably close. I sit up, I look around, thanking myself for leaving the bathroom light on for a little bit of light in the dark. But there was nothing, right? I kept looking around, thoughts wishing through my sleepy mind, it had to have been in the hallway. It sounded like it was in the room, though. Am I seriously in a haunted hotel? Everywhere sounded. I sagged, "They're probably nice entities if they're here." "What time is it?" The clock reads 3:10 a.m. "Motherfucker," I say to myself. Taking deep breaths, I was able to doze back off, but much to my nervous system's dismay.

• 42:08Corinne Vien?

It wasn't long before I woke to a bang on my ceiling. My heart's pounding, I sit up again, trying to convince myself that I just have drunk, loud upstairs visitors. I tried to ignore the creepy thought that, "Well, drunk at 3:30 a.m. on a Tuesday morning, hmm." I'm trying to relax, I just keep listening. There were definitely indistinct movement noises shuffling about, but I couldn't quite figure out where they were coming from. Was it my hallway upstairs? I just asked the energy in the room and my spirit guides to keep me safe to please allow me to sleep.

• 42:41Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Especially being alone, like your first night and staying in a new place, you don't, you're not familiar with the sounds. There could be someone who woke up to go to the bathroom, dropped their phone, or dropped, like knocked something over on the way to the bathroom and

• 42:53Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 42:54Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, you don't know where the sound's coming from.

• 42:56Corinne Vien?

Right, and also like maintenance, room service, like

• 42:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  So many different things.

• 43:01Corinne Vien?

Someone collecting towels or whatever, turning over rooms really early.

• 43:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  At 3:30 in the morning.

• 43:06Corinne Vien?

Oh, when the first shift starts. Long ass hallway, there's a lot of rooms. I still have no clue what was happening during the witching hour in the Chalet Hotel. I am nothing if not a creepy kid at heart, so of course I do try to research the hotel and nothing. I do know that this has been a hotel for at least thirty years, but I have nothing to report on the building before that. My second night there was quite restless, but not due to any random noises. So it was time to leave and head back to Wisconsin. I thank the room for caring for me. I asked that nothing follows me. I say goodbye. A whole travel day later, I'm in my own cozy bed in my own home. I'm ready to drift off to sleep. I slept so well that night with only one bizarre exception.

• 43:52Corinne Vien?

I woke up in the morning in a true state of confusion. I looked around my bedroom to figure out where I am and figure out if I'm awake. And FYI, this never happens to me. And within thirty seconds, I realized that the confusion was all in a dream. In this dream, I was at home in my exact bedroom, laying in my bed, sleeping. I was comfy, so comfy, but something startled me awake in the dream, as if knowing something else was there. In my dream, I opened my eyes abruptly. I jump at the sight of this chubby bald white man sitting in the exact same armchair that had been in the hotel room.

• 44:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  He travels with the armchair.

• 44:26Corinne Vien?

He does. He was positioned at the right side of my bed, exactly the way that it had been positioned in the hotel room. I scolded, "You can't watch people sleep." "And what are you doing here? Who are you?" I honestly don't remember much or if he said anything in response, but I do remember him being kind of agreeable and realizing I was right. My energy towards him shifted. It was calmer, it was kinder, though I did get up out of bed and I escorted this man out of my house.

• 44:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Escorted?

• 44:58Corinne Vien?

  Escorted.

• 44:59Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It sounded like you said squirted this man out of my house. Water gun.

• 45:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Get out. Water gun with like

• 45:05Corinne Vien?

  Shoo!

• 45:06Sabrina Deana-Roga?

With like sage oil in it.

• 45:07Corinne Vien?

Ooh, that's actually a good idea. When I woke up in real life, I was so confused. I still haven't decided if this was just a weird dream, or if maybe that man had been sitting with me in my hotel the whole time and just waited until I got home to let me know that he was in his chair. Was this a dream visitation? I sure as hell had no control over what happened in it, or what was said, because I totally would have asked him if he was a spirit visiting, if I had control and had any say in it. An extra element that makes me think that maybe this wasn't just a dream was that it was just so clear when I woke up. Like, I still had the visceral feeling in my body. I immediately recognized it as something different, but something that I couldn't quite put my finger on. What do you guys think? Is this hotel haunted?

• 45:51Corinne Vien?

Is this an awkward ghost visitation? I have attached some photos of the creepy hotel, but I'm just now realizing how off the vibes must have been, because looking at these pictures, this place looks fine. See you hopefully on this side, but also the other side, Jaden.

• 46:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

All right, I'm gonna look at the photos.

• 46:10Corinne Vien?

It is funny, because I was expecting like the creepiest, like back rooms looking place. And like Jaden says, it does kind of look

• 46:18Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Normal.

• 46:19Corinne Vien?

  Pretty normal.

• 46:19Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But the hallway does have, especially the way the lights are, it does have this weird illusion. It almost looks like a trick hallway, where it feels so long, but then short. You know, when you look at those, like, circles of the black and white, and it looks like they're moving? It kind of has that feeling.

• 46:38Corinne Vien?

Yeah, it feels a little Alice in Wonderland, where you're gonna walk, walk, walk, and it feels like it's expanding and like moving further as you continue on. It does feel that way.

• 46:48Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And I hope that you haven't seen this man since. It's almost like he was with you at your house, because he wanted to travel with you just for a second. He was curious about you as you were about him in that moment. But like, it sounds like he respected your boundaries, even if it was, you know, a half-sleep, half-dream state version of you saying, you're not allowed to watch people sleep. Like, he knew he shouldn't be doing that.

• 47:15Corinne Vien?

It's also so odd, Jayden felt kind of the vibes from the chair when they're plugging in their electronics and stuff. But at the same time, it makes me curious about the chair. Like, is this some guy who stayed at the hotel? Is this someone who was following someone else? And was like, oh, this is a sweet chair, a sweet spot. I'm gonna stay here. Or like, is he somehow attached to this chair? Cause he's travel, like you said, he's traveling in the chair, in the, in the trail.

• 47:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's a, it's a chair, traveling chair.

• 47:43Corinne Vien?

  Chair jail. He can't.

• 47:45Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It's a chair jail. Oh, oh, don't sit in the chair. You'll get attached to it.

• 47:49Corinne Vien?

  Mm-hmm.

• 47:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I don't know. Um, I do have one, one story to end us on, and it's about a hotel and a ghost in a hotel.

• 47:55Corinne Vien?

  Okay.

• 47:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And it's from our listener, Mandy, and it's called Ghost Felt Me Up, sort of.

• 48:03Corinne Vien?

  Interesting.

• 48:04Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Hi there, gorgeous human beings. I'm sending this as promised in regards to a DM message I sent the two girls from a ghost Instagram. So as I said in the message, I was listening to Campfire Stories twenty-seven to Marissa's many Tucson stories. And she said Tucson is very haunted. And it jogged my memory of what happened to me when I was in Arizona. I truly got chills thinking about it, but now that I think about it, I think it was Phoenix, but still jogged my memory nonetheless.

• 48:29Corinne Vien?

  Arizona.

• 48:30Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. Anyway, my cousin and I were on vacation at Point Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort, also a muffle. Our room was nice and swanky, had two beds, a small living room-like area. And the windows in the room had these usual thick curtains that most hotels use. So when we closed the doors to the room, it plunged the room into complete darkness. I can't sleep with an open door, so a dark room had to suffice. On our last night there, I sort of woke up and thought I saw my cousin out of the corner of my eye, lying back down. I remember seeing something white and flowy, so I assumed that she had just come back into the room from the bathroom. I didn't think anything of it, and I turned over to go back to sleep.

• 49:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I was laying on my left side, facing away from my cousin, with my right arm straight on my hip, like this. And I think I had my right leg pulled up. So this caused my hand to hang a bit with my palm facing my cousin, so kind of like this.

• 49:25Corinne Vien?

  Hmm.

• 49:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You're the cousin, I'm Mandy. As I was falling asleep, I felt someone caress the inside of my palm, all the way to the tips of my fingers.

• 49:38Corinne Vien?

  Kind of feels nice.

• 49:39Sabrina Deana-Roga?

It does feel nice. My brain automatically thought it had to be my cousin making sure I was there, so it didn't scare me. Until the next morning, I was like, hey, so why did you caress my hand when you got back from the bathroom? And she was like, what? I didn't. I didn't even get up to use the bathroom last night. I told her I saw her coming back from the bathroom. She's like, I swear, I never went to the bathroom. I never woke up in the middle of the night. Luckily, this happened on our last night at the hotel because I don't think I could have stayed there again after having that experience. It still haunts me when I think about it. No, thank you. Anywho, that's my Arizona story. Stay spooky. See you ladies on the other side. Mandy.

• 50:18Corinne Vien?

Okay, but in this spirit's defense, maybe they were up and moving about, realized you had stirred awake. Because that is such a like gentle, like caressing. It almost makes me think that they were like, oh, like, oops, like, go back to sleep.

• 50:31Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Yeah.

• 50:32Corinne Vien?

I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to wake you.

• 50:34Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But now I'm gonna touch you.

• 50:36Corinne Vien?

Gently. What a crap. This does feel good. This does feel good.

• 50:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  I know.

• 50:40Corinne Vien?

Normally when you touch yourself, like, you don't really.

• 50:43Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Feel it?

• 50:44Corinne Vien?

Yeah, you know, like when someone else like does.

• 50:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  It's so different.

• 50:47Corinne Vien?

Your scalp or like nails down your arm.

• 50:49Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Well, it's because you're anticipating the touch, so it doesn't feel as good as when someone else is touching you.

• 50:53Corinne Vien?

Have you heard sometimes when identical twins say, I've heard it before, that like, with certain people, it feels like when their twin touches them, that it feels like when they touch themselves.

• 51:05Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Oh.

• 51:06Corinne Vien?

Not like when someone else does.

• 51:07Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Because they almost share consciousness?

• 51:08Corinne Vien?

Yeah. Not at all, but I've heard it.

• 51:11Sabrina Deana-Roga?

You know what I saw is that the woman who plays the nanny in The Parent Trap, what's her name? She's also in Abbott Elementary. I love her.

• 51:21Corinne Vien?

  Yes.

• 51:22Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  What's her name?

• 51:24Corinne Vien?

  Lisa Ann Walter.

• 51:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  That's her name?

• 51:26Corinne Vien?

  That's her name.

• 51:27Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Wait, let me see. That's, that is not her.

• 51:29Corinne Vien?

Well, in The Parent Trap, she's Chessie.

• 51:32Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Wait, that's her real name?

• 51:34Corinne Vien?

Lisa Ann Walter. What did you think it was?

• 51:36Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Not that. Like, that just feels not her.

• 51:41Corinne Vien?

Because she does feel like a chessy. Well, she actually, to me, even though The Parent Trap is like iconic and she's iconic in it, I do think in Abbott Elementary, that feels like the most believable character for her. She's so good at it.

• 51:55Sabrina Deana-Roga?

That she is a chessy, but okay, but so she has mirror twins that were born on the day that the Parent Trap Twins, October 11th, were born.

• 52:07Corinne Vien?

  She does?

• 52:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. And they're mirror twins. So they are like identical, but they're mirror of each other. And so one of them's left-handed, one of them's right-handed, and they were born on the day the Parent Trap Twins were born.

• 52:20Corinne Vien?

That's crazy. I have to look her up. Okay, Lisa and Walter twins.

• 52:25Sabrina Deana-Roga?

But she was like, I think Nancy Meyers cursed me or put a hex on me.

• 52:29Corinne Vien?

Oh, they're, she has two boys. Well, she's four children, but the boys are mirror twins.

• 52:35Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Isn't that wild?

• 52:36Corinne Vien?

  That is wild. Wow.

• 52:38Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  Mm-hmm.

• 52:39Corinne Vien?

  Interesting.

• 52:40Sabrina Deana-Roga?

And she was like, my dream was for them to fence and...

• 52:44Corinne Vien?

  Eat peanut butter and Oreos?

• 52:46Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah, replay that scene. But I think that's so interesting, which also is like kismet. And I feel like the universe like puts things into your life and plays them out in weird ways.

• 52:56Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.

• 52:57Sabrina Deana-Roga?

I just think it's fascinating. Um, that was a fun little tidbit that I saw when I was scrolling TikTok because I have been doing it so much. Um...

• 53:06Corinne Vien?

Flashback to last year when you're like, I never go on TikTok.

• 53:08Sabrina Deana-Roga?

Yeah. And then life happens and you need to disassociate and you lay in bed.

• 53:13Corinne Vien?

  You need a distraction.

• 53:14Sabrina Deana-Roga?

  And rot with TikTok.

• 53:15Corinne Vien?

  Yeah.
